Thank you so much for the support. I really appreciate it :)

A few weeks passed by, and Cristina came back to Seattle, Lexie could walk by herself and it looked like everything was going back to normal. Well, almost everything...

Near the nurses station

Lexie was near the nurses station when she heard the interns talking.

"Dr. Grey is so mean. I have no idea how we are supposed to learn when all she does is yell at us," Heather said.

"Brooks, you will be working with Kepner in the ER today."

"Thank God. I can't stand Dr. Grey anymore," she said to herself.

Then she noticed Lexie's name tag- "Dr. Lexie Grey," and realized she should have kept her mouth shut.

"I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about..." The intern just stood there with nothing to say.

"About my sister," Lexie told her before she left the embraced intern.

The cafeteria

"Did you know that Medusa has a sister? She is a resident so I guess she is younger than Medusa," Heather said.

"You didn't know?" Jo asked her.

"We heard Medusa talking to her a few weeks ago. She wasn't soft and caring. She wasn't... Medusa," Stephanie said.

Suddenly, they realized Lexie was right near them and heard everything. Lexie looked at them angrily and said, "My sister can be scary sometimes, but she's my sister. She has survived so much. Did you hear the story about Medusa?"

"No..."

"Poseidon raped Medusa in Athena's temple. Athena saw it as a violation of her temple and blamed Medusa for this, and as a punishment, she turned her into a monster. Medusa was only a victim. You don't know my sister or what she went through, so don't dare judge her. One more bad word about her, and I swear that Meredith Grey will not be your only worry," Lexie told them before she left.

"I am starting to like Little Grey," Jo said.

"Little Grey?" Stephanie asked.

"Well, she is younger than Medusa, and I don't have any other nickname for her."

Mark's Apartment

Lexie was at Mark's apartment. Over the past few weeks, she has spent most of her nights there with Mark. She wanted to make sure he was getting enough rest, eating well, and drinking enough water. She also helped him take care of Sofia. Arizona and Callie were having a marriage crisis, so Mark really needed her help.

Suddenly, she heard yelling from the door and the cry of a baby.

She left Mark's apartment and went to Callie and Arizona's apartment.

The two women were fighting. Lexie didn't know if they even heard Sofia. She took Sofia and went to the bedroom. They both didn't even notice her. She screamed, "Hey! Stop fighting."

Arizona and Callie saw Lexie trying to calm down Sofia, who was still crying.

Callie and Arizona looked at Lexie with a big shock. Lexie left the bedroom with Sofia, and Callie followed after her to the living room.

Lexie took Sofia's carriage and put some toys and food into a bag.

"What are you doing?" Callie asked her.

"I'm taking her to the park. She is terrified. You two can keep fighting, but not in front of Sofia," Lexie said and put Sofia in the carriage.

"Hey, baby girl, do you want to go with Lexie to the park?" she asked Sofia in a baby voice.

Because of Callie and Arizona's marriage problems, Sofia spent most of her nights with Mark and Lexie. Arizona and Callie didn't like that, but they knew it was for Sofia's good.

Mark was surprised to find that Lexie wasn't home. She always waited for him to return. He called her and hoped she would answer the phone. He was relieved when she did.

"Lexie, where are you?"

"I took Sofia to the park. Arizona and Callie had a fight again. I heard Sofia cry, so I took her to the park to calm her down."

"You are amazing, Lex," Mark told her with a smile. He still couldn't believe that. Lexie was so amazing with Sofia. He could see that she loved the little girl with her whole heart and always put her first.

"We have to do something, Mark. Sofia is spending most of the nights with us, but she can still hear them fighting from your apartment."

"Don't worry, Lex. I am going to put some sense in them."

Callie and Arizona's apartment

"Leave me alone!" Arizona yelled.

"Why do you keep pushing me away? I just want to help you and be there for you!"

"No! You are trying to act like you are the victim! You weren't in the woods, so you can't possibly understand that!"

"You think you are the only one who's hurting? I almost lost you and Mark!"

Suddenly, they heard the door ope and saw that it was Mark.

"Shut up, both of you! You're hurting each other, and worse, you're hurting Sofia. You scared her! You can't just continue fighting like this in front of our daughter. She's just a little girl, and she doesn't understand what's going on. You should be protecting her, not becoming the very people she needs protection from."

"That's none of your business, Mark," Arizona said angrily.

"Your marriage isn't my business, but Sofia is. When I found out about Sofia, I swore that I'd do anything to protect her. You two are idiots for fighting like that, but this is not Sofia's fault. So, for Sofia's sake, stop yelling at each other and fighting all the time." Mark said, before leaving the apartment.

Hospital

Amelia helped Lexie study when they saw Bailey coming.

"Good morning, Dr. Grey," Bailey greeted her.

"I had a really bad night. I'm not in the mood," Lexie said, sounding annoyed.

"Why are you so cranky?" Bailey asked.

Usually, she would just yell at cranky residents, but not at Lexie, who was the sweet one. If Lexie Grey was angry, something had happened.

"It's probably because she's sex-deprived," Amelia said.

"I am not!" Lexie argued.

"I'm not interested in hearing about Dr. Grey's sex life," Bailey said, clearly annoyed.

"Don't worry, Bailey," Amelia said with a laugh. "She has no sex life, so there is nothing to talk about."

Lexie rolled her eyes and said, "Callie and Arizona never stop fighting. Yesterday, they were at it again. They didn't even notice that Sofia was crying. I know it's not my business, but I love Sofia, and she's hurting now."

"Before my husband and I got divorced, it was hard. Tuck was miserable," Bailey told Lexie.

"Are you saying that Callie and Arizona will get a divorce?" Amelia asked Bailey.

"No, I just wanted to say that is something they need to solve together. You can help, but maybe you should try another way to get Arizona out of bed," Bailey said.

Callie and Arizona's apartment

Lexie came into Callie and Arizona's apartment after she heard yelling from their apartment, again. She groaned, took Sofia, and left Mark's apartment.

"What happened?" Lexie asked with Sofia in her arms.

"She had not taken a shower for days! She has been in the bed all day, doing nothing.

"Take the baby," Lexie said as she handed Sofia over to Callie.

"What are you going to do?"

"Trust me," Lexie said as she walked into Arizona and Callie's bedroom.

"Get up!" Lexie ordered and came closer to Arizona.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Despite what you think, you are not alone. Callie is trying to take care of you, and all you do is yell at her. We almost died out there. You saw how in pain Mark was when he thought I was dead. We could die tomorrow. Callie can die tomorrow. Do you want to waste your time with stupid arguments?"

Arizona looked at Lexie with shock. Lexie knew she was really thinking about it.

"Now get up right now and spend some time with your wife and your daughter!" Lexie yelled.

Arizona followed Lexie's orders and with Lexie's help, climbed into the wheelchair.

Callie saw Lexie walking out with Arizona in the wheelchair. Arizona went to the bathroom. She was shocked. She has been trying for two months to convince the woman to get out of bed.

But Lexie knew she had not finished yet. She just had to talk to Callie.

She's in the bathroom by herself?!" Callie asked with panic.

"Callie, you have to stop. You are pushing Arizona too far. She has been trying to tell you something and she doesn't know how."

"Are you sure? All she is doing is yelling at me."

"The plane crash changed us all. You think it's about the leg, but it's not. She feels like she can't have a normal life. She is stuck at home, and when she finally goes out, all the people look at her with ... it drives her crazy, Callie."

"So, I should just let her yell at me?"

"No. Just try to understand her feelings. She lost her independence."

Callie walked with Sofia into the bathroom, and Lexie followed her.

"I can do it on my own," Arizona insisted.

"You know what? You can do it."

Arizona looked at Callie with a confused look.

Callie had never let her do anything by herself since the plane crash. It was as if wherever she was, people always treated her like someone who couldn't do anything on her own. Like a borden.

Arizona leaned against the wall with her hands for support and slowly stood up, then sat down on the toilet and said proudly with a smile, "I did it! I got up!"

"Yes, you did!" Callie stated with excitement as they both laughed.

Lexie looked at the two women and the little girl and smiled. This family was weird. She didn't even tell her sister Molly about this, but when she did, she would probably think that Lexie was crazy, but Lexie didn't care. Normal was boring, and she was so happy with her new family.

An hour later, Callie and Lexie helped Arizona practice getting up after a fall. The first time Arizona "fell", Sofia looked at the three women with a scared look. And then Arizona realized, she had hurt her own daughter. Her little girl was so smart, and she realized what was happening. So Arizona just started to laugh. Seeing her mother laughing, Sofia laughed too, and Lexie and Callie joined as well.

Sofia was smiling and laughing with her moms. Everything is going to be ok. When Mark got home and didn't find Lexie, he thought that Lexie took Sofia again after a fight and went to Callie and Arizona's apartment, but then he realized- there was no yelling. Actually, that sounds more like laughing. He opened the door and found his four girls laughing.

When the women saw Mark, they all smiled. Sofia laughed even harder, happy to see her daddy home.

Mark looked at Lexie with a loving smile. He knew she did it. Sofia was supposed to be with him tonight, and Lexie was with her until he got back from Meredith's and Derek.

The next day at Meredith's house

"Finally Zola and Sofia can have a play date without me going crazy. I love Mark, but sometimes he can be..." Meredith said to her sister

"Too much..."

"Yeah!"

"There is a lot of mess in here. How long does it take to finish the dream house?" Lexie asked.

The dream house is ready," Meredith responded.

"Wow! Derek must be so excited! Wait, why aren't you moving in yet?"

"I'm not ready, Lexie. This place is my home. I'm not ready to say goodbye to this house. I grew up here. When I'm here, I think about my friends, my internship, and all the good memories I made here."

"Meredith, you are not saying goodbye to your mom's house. You are moving with Derek for a fresh start. I can take care of your house."

"Thank you, Lexie. But I just don't know what to do."

"Where do you want Zola to grow up?"

"I love this house. I grew up here, but the dream house is just... the dream house... Derek and I built it."

"I think you have got your answer," Lexie said with a smile.

After a few minutes of silence, Lexie broke it and said, "Can I ask you something, Mer?"

"Of course."

"Do you still believe that being with Mark was a mistake?"

"Why are you asking me that?"

"I don't know. I'm sure about Mark, but I am just scared."

"It's ok, Lexie. I was the same with Derek. I think it was because of how much he meant to me. He could break my heart so easily. It was the same with you, I was scared that you would go away too, like everyone else. But you didn't, you stuck around and showed me what family is."

"I can't believe that Meredith dark and twisty is talking like that," Lexie said with a laugh.

"If you tell Cristina I said that, I'll kill you," Meredith warned her.

The nurses station

Lexie was bored. In the last few weeks, all she did was paperwork. Owen was worried about her mental health, and Meredith and Mark agreed with him, so most of the time she did paperwork, studied for her boards, and helped Derek teach the interns.

She was in the nurses station when she saw Alex coming.

"Hey Alex! Do you have any interesting cases?"

Alex wasn't stupid, he knew Lexie was trying to get into surgery. If he didn't care about her, he would have just let her in. Just so she shuts up. However, Alex did care about Lexie, and he knew she wasn't ready.

"Lexipedia, if you want to irritate someone, go to April. She is the only one who wants to listen to you, and that's only because she is similar to you."

"April and I are not similar!" Lexie argued.

"You both are weird, awkward socially, annoying, and insufferable.״

"OK, I'm weird, everyone tells me from middle school that I'm weird, but I'm not annoying!"

"Yes, you are!"

"You didn't think I was annoying when we were sleeping together."

"I did, I just slipped that out!"

"Shut up, Alex," Lexie said.

"Ohhh what evil did sperm say now?" Cristina asked as she came to them.

"I just said that she and Kepner are similar," Alex said.

"I'm with evil sperm in this one."

"What? We are not similar!" Lexie insisted.

"It looks like Avery has an attraction to weird and annoying girls. That's why he is screwing Kepner."

"No way! Virgin Marry isn't virgin anymore?"

"He shouldn't have known that! How did you know anyway?"

"I saw those two leaving the on call room together a few times, they're acting weird when they're together, and Kepner is less... Kepner."

"How did I miss this?" Alex said.

"Maybe because you were too busy screwing the interns?" Lexie told him.

"Lexipedia, It's not my fault that you can't get laid."

"Hey guys, what are you talking about?"

"Lexie's sex life," Alex told her.

"Okay," April said, looking confused as she turned and left.

Mark's bedroom

Lexie woke up and saw Sofia sleeping in the bed between her and Mark. She smiled when she saw the little girl. Mark and Sofia looked so peaceful when they were sleeping.

A few minutes later, Mark woke up, and Lexie smiled and asked him, "What is she doing here?״

"She started crying and didn't calm down until I brought her here. I think she wanted you."

"How did I not hear her crying?"

"Maybe it's because you have been working too hard at work."

"I am not! I wasn't in the OR! I've just been doing the paperwork for weeks!"

"Are you taking any breaks, drinking enough water, and eating well?"

"It's pretty hard not to when Bailey, Derek, and Meredith come check on me all the time. But don't worry, I'm taking good care of myself. When I finish the paperwork, I study for my boards. I know I have a lot of time, but I'm bored, and this is the only thing I can do."

"That's my girl," he said and kissed Lexie a quick kiss.

"Sofia can't sleep here anymore. I've got a big problem."

"What is the problem?" Mark asked.

"Now I don't want to get out of bed. Just look at how cute she is! I have to go to work, but it's difficult to leave this comfortable bed."

"She is the only reason?" Mark asked with a smile.

"That's not the only reason. Don't get jealous, but the girl's father is a really great guy."

Sofia woke up and, upon seeing that Lexie and Mark were still in bed and awake, she smiled at them.

"Hello sof, did you sleep well?" Lexie asked her.

Sofia giggled, and Mark said, "Well, don't get used to that. Evil Lexie said you can't sleep here anymore. But don't worry, I don't think she can stand that."

"I think your daddy is right, Sofia," Lexie told the baby, who was almost a toddler.

"What are your plans for today?" Lexie asked after a few moments of silence.

"Sofia and I are having daddy and daughter day. Arizona finally agreed to go try some prostheses. I have no idea how you did this, but Arizona really got better. How did you do it? We have been trying for two months!

"I yelled at her."

"You what?" Mark asked and laughed loudly.

"I think it was because she got up. She realized she could have her life back. For the past two months, she has been lying in bed and crying all the time. You can't really heal when you feel like that, so Callie and I tried to make her laugh."

"You have no idea what you did, do you?" Mark said with a smile.

"What?"

"You saved my family. You saved our family," Mark told her.

Lexie couldn't believe he said 'our family'. She almost missed being a part of this weird family. She couldn't believe that months ago, she was afraid of being a part of the family.

Lexie didn't know what to say, so she just laughed.

"You really did!"

"We got back together only a month ago, and I am already part of the family?"

"Callie told me about how much you did for her the month I was in a coma. Why? Is it too soon?"

"If it was before the plane crash, maybe it was too soon, but the last two months were crazy. We went through so much. I spent so much time with this family, that I think it's impossible not to feel a part of it."

Mark and Lexie smelled a really bad smell, and realized it was coming from Sofia.

"Looks like someone pooped in their diaper," Mark said, looking at Lexie.

Lexie got up quickly and said, "I am late for work! I have to get ready!".

"Now you want to get up from the bed," Mark said.

"Only because of work!" Lexie shouted from the living room.

The hospital

Lexie was doing her paperwork when she saw April.

"Lexie, is everything ok?" April asked her.

"I'm not talking to you about this," April replied.

"Come on, Lexie, we are friends!"

Lexie thought about that for a moment. April really was her friend. She was the only one who let her see Mark. Well, she found out that she really shouldn't have seen him, but she had April's company in there. After that, Lexie felt closer to April. April saw her at her worst and was there for her, despite all the awful things she had done to her. So, April really was her friend.

"Mark had his surgery five weeks ago."

"So?"

"The five weeks of recovery," Lexie told her.

"Oh, those five weeks," April said after she realized what Lexie meant.

"What about that?"

"I want to make this special for us. I want to make this right this time."

"When your shift is over?"

"At five," Lexie responded.

"So you have enough time. You only have stupid paperwork to do, and you can go home. You can get some clothes that Mark likes. But you and Mark really love each other."

"We have been waiting for this moment for five weeks. I finally feel like a part of Mark's family, and everything is going great between us. I don't want to screw this up," Lexie confessed.

"Lexie, everything is going to be okay. You and Mark love each other, and you two have done it before. If it was good before, it will be even better now that you two know what is it like to be apart from each other. And even if it will be bad, you and Mark will figure it out. He thought you had died, and was in a critical condition, and after he found out you were alive, he healed like magic. Do you really think that there is something that could break you two?"

"You are really good at that stuff for someone who lost her virginity only three months ago."

"My first time was in a hotel room, a day before the most important test of my life. Believe me, I get you."

"Thank you, April," Lexie said, smiling at her.

Mark's bedroom

Lexie laid on the bed with a gown shirt lace, waiting for Mark to come home.

"Lexie, have you seen-" Mark said as he and Callie, holding Sofia, came into the bedroom. Lexie quickly covered herself, and Callie covered Sofia's eyes.

Lexie blushed, while Callie and Mark stared at her in shock.

"You know what, Mark? I'll buy some diapers. You two seem pretty busy." Callie said before leaving.

"You look-"

"Pathetic"

"You mean amazing?"

"That was so embarrassing! Your kid saw me half naked!"

"It's not like she'll remember this!"

"But her mother will!"

"Come on, Lex. It's nothing. She is Callie."

"I guess you are right,״ she said and kissed Mark.

Lexie unblocked Mark's belt and took off his shirt. Mark took off her gown shirt. Right after Mark took off his pants, his phone rang.

"Mark, it's Derek," Lexie told him.

"Derek can wait", he said and kissed her neck.

"What if it's important?"

Lexie took the phone from his pants pocket, which was on the floor, and gave it to Mark.

"Derek, is somebody dying?"

"No but-"

"Bye, Derek," Mark said and hung up the phone.

Lexie groaned and sat on the bed.

"Lex, is everything okay?"

"Yes... I just... You know what? This is really ridiculous. I wanted this to be special for us, and now everything is ruined."

"Lex, nothing is ruined. The thing with Callie would probably happen again, and that's fine. As long as Sofia is not with her. And about Derek, I should have turned off my phone."

Mark took his phone and turned it off. "There you go. Now please give me your phone."

Lexie took her phone from the nightstand and gave it to Mark. Mark turned off Lexie's phone and told her, "We both can't be paged, and both our phones are off. No one is going to interrupt us anymore. Tonight is all about us."

"I love you," Lexie told him.

"I love you too, Mark said before he kissed Lexie.

Mark unlocked Lexie's bra, and they both made love to each other. It was always special for them. It was their way to show how much they loved each other.

"Making love." Mark always laughed about that. He had slept with so many women, and none of it was "making love." Until he met Lexie.

Lexie, on the other hand, always believed that. For Lexie, there was no "just sex." It was always more.

They were both grateful for this opportunity. Their sex together was always amazing. They didn't think they would feel this way again.

later that night

Mark rolled of Lexie and laid next to her.

"That was... wow," Mark said.

"It was fine," Lexie said, laying her head on Mark's chest.

"You are a really bad liar, Lex."

"I just don't want to raise your ego."

"I think it's impossible."

"It was perfect. Worth the waiting. Are you happy now?" Lexie said, rolling her eyes.

"I don't think I'm the only one who is happy about that," Mark said and gave Lexie a playful grin.

"Shut up," she said and smacked him playfully.

"Let's get married," Lexie said.

"What?" Mark asked, he couldn't believe what he just heard.

"Let's get married," Lexie repeated.

"Are you serious?" Mark asked her with a big smile.

"I realized that a family isn't so scary. I promise we will have a kid, not only one, three, not now... in the future. I mean, I'm really for you and Sofia, but not for our kid because-"

Mark cut her off by kissing her. They waited enough.
