A tall, somewhat imposing, yet beautiful blader walked onto the marble stage. He wore a dark green coat with frilly gold cuffs. The coat matched his big top hat, adorned with purple hair styled after ice cream cones. Below the coat was a white dress shirt with a shiny garnet broach and black dress pants. The man turned around, revealing his deep, ocean blue eyes. He stood tall and bowed before the crowd, who gave him a roaring applause. Tyler tried to hold in laughter when he saw the blader's hair.

"Oh my god, look at his hair!" Tyler snickered to himself as he and Brandon got a good look at their soon-to-be opponent. Brandon stared into the blader's eyes as he began speaking.
"Good afternoon, students! I'm pleased to welcome you to my very own fine arts museum. My name is Blindt DeVoy." The blader, known as Blindt, addressed the crowd. "I would like to speak to all of you, about the beauty of art…" Blindt began his topic of discussion, setting up an easel and a canvas. "True beauty comes from the soul, my friends. The soul of a person is the source of their true character, and that is where the most gorgeous works of art come from." Blindt made his main point and began expanding off of it, while painting a portrait of a black dragon. Tyler watched with a very bored look on his face, one that Brandon sported as well.

"Come on… get to the good part!" Tyler whispered to himself as he looked towards Sakura, who was watching with extreme interest. She carefully observed the strokes Blindt was making on his canvas, watching how he washed his paintbrush before using a new color from his palette. Tyler and Brandon just looked at each other before looking back at Blindt. The both of them were growing quite impatient as Blindt finished his painting, depicting a black dragon shrouded in darkness, with red eyes, a red gem in its center, and glowing turquoise wings. Then, Blindt put the painting aside.
"Of course, painting is far from the only beautiful art form. One of the most beautiful forms of art takes place through Beyblade…" Blindt reached into his pocket and pulled out his bey. It was round and black, and it gave off a violet glow. Tyler and Brandon's eyes widened as Blindt smiled proudly and looked into the crowd.
"To show the true beauty of Beyblade requires another person. I would like two volunteers to step up and battle me." Blindt invited volunteers to the stage, and Tyler took off running, with Brandon not far behind. Tyler ran up to the stage first and looked Blindt in the eye.
"I'll be your first opponent! Me and my partner will show you what blading is all about!" Tyler reached into his pocket and pulled out his bey. "Say hello to Crimson Talthea, everyone!" Tyler introduced his bey, which gave off a brilliant red shine. Blindt smiled, intrigued by Tyler's bey.
"Well now.. You would be a delightful first subject! Tell me your name." Blindt accepted Tyler's challenge to battle.
"My name is Tyler Inouye! Y'all know me well, because I… am the best blader in Beigoma Academy, and a worthy opponent to anyone!" Tyler took some time to brag as he introduced himself. Brandon rolled his eyes, knowing Tyler just lost to him. Blindt quietly laughed to himself.
"I quite like your confidence, Tyler. It paints a picture of a proud and honourable foe. One ready to experience the beauty of my bey. Moonlight Bahamut!" Blindt showed his bey to Tyler. Bahamut gave off a sharp violet glow. Tyler's eyes widened. He felt a slight pit in his stomach.
"Hang on… something about that bey doesn't feel right…" Tyler thought to himself. "Oh well. No backing out now!" Tyler finished his thought before taking out his launcher.
"Alright then! Let's see what that beauty can do in battle!" Tyler replied to Blindt with confidence. Blindt turned to the crowd.
"Would anyone like to volunteer to be the official for our matches?" Blindt asked. Sakura's hand shot upwards. "Very well then, miss. You may come up to the stage." Blindt invited Sakura onto the stage, where she took her place as the referee.
"This will be a first to two points match. Survivor finishes and Ring Out finishes are worth one point each. Burst finishes are worth two points." Sakura announced the rules as Tyler and Blindt attached their beys to their launchers.
"Ready, set!" Sakura then raised her left hand.

"Three!" Blindt held his launcher neatly under his arm. Tyler squatted down with his right leg behind him and his right arm extended outwards.

"Two!" Blindt made a picture frame with his hands, looking at Tyler through the frame. Tyler moved his right hand to the string handle on his launcher.

"One!" Blindt pulled his launcher out from under his hand and held it flat over the stadium with his legs together. Tyler turned his upper body slightly to his right as he held his launcher at a tilted angle.
"LET IT RIP!" Tyler and Blindt both pulled as hard as they could on their launchers. Tyler's launcher shot out bolts of red lightning, while Blindt's launcher had a longer string than most others. Talthea landed on the outer ring of the stadium, tilted to rush the center. Bahamut landed near the middle of the stadium slope, spiralling down towards the center. Bahamut was spinning counterclockwise, which caught Tyler's attention.
"Wait, is that thing spinning counterclockwise?!" Tyler's eyes widened. Blindt put his finger on his chin.
"Ah, you have good eyes. Bahamut is a special bey, one that spins counterclockwise!" Blindt bragged. Tyler smirked to himself.
"Not that it'll change all that much! Now, Talthea! Crack this battle open with Crimson Rush!" Tyler called his first move. Talthea quickly began barraging the center, laying strike after strike on Bahamut, which hardly budged from its spot in the center.
"Hmmm… this is a fine detail… an opponent who delivers a vicious, unrelenting attack." Blindt spoke as if he were formulating ideas for a painting. He watched as Bahamut barely moved from its position, until Talthea poked at it with the tip of its blade, knocking Bahamut slightly backwards before retreating to the middle of the slope. Bahamut simply drifted back to the center.
"That thing hardly moved!" Tyler pointed out. Blindt matched Tyler's trademark smirk.
"Of course. Moonlight Bahamut is a defense type, with nearly immaculate defenses. It takes far more than that to even scratch my beautiful bey!" Blindt proclaimed in front of the whole crowd. Tyler looked back at the stadium and thought of a move.
"Alright, then we'll try and force you to move! Push 'em back, partner!" Tyler called out to his bey. Talthea leaned in and rammed into Bahamut, trying to forcibly push it backwards. It was working. Talthea had shoved Bahamut all the way to the middle of the slope before the tip of Talthea's blade struck a cyan wing on Bahamut's Thunder Point, pushing the wing in, which pushed the disk proungs forward, sliding over a tab on the inside to retract the wings and reveal sets of cyan scales to fill in gaps and form a perfectly circular thunder point, causing Bahamut to slip away from Talthea and retreat to the center. Blindt took out a paintbrush, which began glowing with bright blue energy.
"Let me reveal the beauty of Moonlight Circle!" Blindt painted a bright blue energy circle with his brush as a ring of bright red energy surrounded Bahamut, signifying it had become a perfect circle. Tyler took a look at the bey, surprised at what he saw.
"H-How did it become a perfect circle?!" Tyler asked. Blindt shook his head.
"A circle is the most simple of all shapes. No points to speak of. With no points to grind against, a perfect circle is the best shape for a defense type, like my Bahamut!" Blindt monologued to himself as Talthea tried attacking Bahamut again and again before losing a bit of spin. Talthea wobbled towards Bahamut and attacked once more before toppling over.
"Moonlight Bahamut wins with a Survivor Finish! Point standings 1-0!" Sakura called the first battle, with her left arm pointing towards Blindt. Tyler grimaced as he picked up his bey. Blindt kneeled down to pick up his own.

"Damn… that thing will be a tough opponent… how do I pierce its perfect defenses?!" Tyler thought to himself as he looked at his bey. Just then, Talthea glowed a bright red and took Tyler to the world of pure red. Tyler looked up and stared Talthea in the eye.
"You're looking to defeat Bahamut, correct?" Talthea asked with his booming voice. Tyler nodded.
"Yeah… but it's defenses are nearly impenetrable! How do I break through?!" Tyler asked.
"There is no such thing as an impenetrable wall. There is a weak point. Think about where Bahamut likes to stay." Talthea gave Tyler vague, yet useful advice before sending Tyler back to the real world.

"I'm so ready! You're not beating me a second time!" Tyler proudly proclaimed as he attached Talthea to his launcher, smirking with his usual confidence. Blindt smirked back.
"You're quite persistent. Good…~" Blindt spoke in a softer tone, attaching Bahamut back to his launcher.
"Second battle!" Sakura called out as each blader took their stance.

Bahamut landed in the middle as Talthea landed at a tilted angle.
"Let's knock that thing out, partner! Crimson Rush!" Tyler made a forwards punching motion as Talthea raced down the slope, using the rubber ring of the Flash driver to gain a speed boost before ramming into Bahamut and battering it from all angles at blistering speeds.
"A flower…" Blindt commented on Talthea's movement pattern, with the trail resembling the outline of a flower shape. "How beautiful…~" Blindt swooned as his bey hardly moved at all. Tyler noticed Bahamut wasn't moving very much, but he had a plan.
"Chip away, partner! Give 'em a little prodding!" Tyler called out. Talthea adjusted its angle to poke Bahamut downwards, causing it to tilt slightly, but the ring on Bahamut's Atomic Metal driver kept it from scraping. Still, Tyler saw an opening.
"Good job! Now show 'em our Crimson Flash!" Tyler shouted as Talthea crashed into Bahamut, knocking it backwards. Talthea began spiralling out from the center and knocking Bahamut further and further backwards towards the edge of the stadium.
"That's the ticket, partner! Knock 'em out!" Tyler confidently stated.
"I wouldn't be so sure of your victory just yet!" Blindt replied as Talthea slammed into Bahamut's cyan wing, which pushed the disk proungs forward, sliding over a tab on the inside to retract the wings and reveal sets of cyan scales to fill in gaps and form a perfectly circular thunder point. Bahamut was knocked to the edge, but it quickly returned to the center. Blindt took out his paintbrush, which once again glowed with bright blue energy.
"Now, Moonlight Circle!" Blindt painted a bright blue energy circle with his brush as a ring of bright red energy surrounded Bahamut, signifying it had become a perfect circle.
"There's that perfect circle again! Now, remember what Talthea told you…" Tyler began thinking to himself. "Think of where Bahamut likes to stay… it likes the center… Center!" Tyler then noticed a weak point. Right in Bahamut's center. Tyler smiled proudly, having figured out a way around Bahamut's defenses.
"I've got you now, artist man! Aim for the center and send 'em flying!" Tyler called out as he pointed straight at Blindt's face. Talthea tilted and raced down the slope on its rubber ring, slamming into Bahamut's center at high speed, knocking it backwards and out of the stadium. Blindt watched his bey land on the marble floor, amazed.

"Crimson Talthea wins with a Ring Out finish! Point Standings 1 each!" Sakura pointed her right arm at Tyler, who proudly picked up his bey and smirked.
"So how was that, Blindt? Did it look beautiful?" Tyler responded in a cocky manner, smirking to the crowd. Brandon folded his arms and sighed, knowing Tyler's ego would be his downfall. Blindt smiled beautifully as he picked up his bey, re-tightening it before looking back at Tyler.
"Oh, indeed! Our battle was dazzling!" Blindt responded before looking right into Tyler's eyes and giving off a devious grin. His irises shrunk slightly.
"Let's make this last round a spectacle for the ages!" Blindt cackled as his dark purple and turquoise resonance surrounded him. Tyler stepped back a bit, slightly unnerved by Blindt's resonance. Then, he took a deep breath as his own cherry red resonance surrounded him.
"This one will be a battle to remember! I'll show you the true power of me and my partner!" Tyler shouted. Sakura looked at both bladers before taking a deep breath herself.
"Third Battle!" Sakura called out as Tyler and Blindt attached their beys to their launchers.
"Ready, set!" Sakura raised her left arm.

Tyler turned his upper body slightly to his right as he held his launcher at a flat angle.
"LET IT RIP!" Tyler and Blindt both pulled as hard as they could on their launchers. Tyler's launcher shot out bolts of red lightning, while Blindt's launcher had a longer string than most others. Bahamut landed in the center while Talthea landed in the inner ring.
"Let's end this quickly, partner! Crimson Flash!" Tyler called out, not wanting to spend too much longer with Blindt. Talthea slammed into Bahamut to knock it backwards before spiralling outwards, shoving Bahamut closer and closer to the edge of the stadium. He knew now about the center trick, but Blindt knew that too.

"Repel them, Bahamut! Use your Moonlight Wing!" Blindt performed a T-Pose motion as a wall of wind blew from in front of him. Bahamut's cyan wing glowed a pretty gold and slashed at Talthea as it made an attack, not only repelling Talthea backwards, but also retracting as well to push out the scales. Then, Bahamut began accelerating down the slope, moving faster and faster.
"Now, meet the power of Moonlight Crash!" Blindt called out as he raised his arm. Bahamut met Talthea at the inner ring and rammed into it, knocking Talthea towards the outer ring. Tyler smirked as he watched Bahamut claim the center once knew it was his moment.
"Let's go, Talthea! Time to finish them off!" Tyler shouted as his cherry red resonance emerged around him. Talthea's red resonance exploded forth as the bey's avatar emerged. The avatar depicted a red dragon with a set of black armor and black horns, along with a pair of bright blue eyes. Talthea's blades began crackling with crimson lightning as ir rattled towards the center like a red comet.
"This battle is ours! Crimson Slash!" Tyler's right arm began glowing bright red as he made a slashing motion with it. Talthea crashed right into Bahamut's center with extreme force and insane velocity, knocking Bahamut into the sky and towards the edge of the stadium.
"ALRIIIIIIGHT!" Tyler cheered, but just then, Blindt's dark purple and turquoise resonance emerged as he let off a wicked grin.
"Such beauty… it will be MINE!" Blindt proclaimed as Bahamut landed on the very edge of the stadium, spinning on its side before rolling around the edge like a wheel. The entire crowd's eyes widened at the sight. Brandon gasped. Tyler felt his jaw sink.
"Wait… what?!" Tyler stood there in utter disbelief. Blindt covered his face as he began to laugh like a maniac. His dark purple and turquoise resonance burned around him as he did.

"PAY ATTENTION, EVERYONE! YOU ARE ALL ABOUT TO WITNESS TRUE BEAUTY!" Blindt shouted as Bahamut's dark purple resonance thrusted outwards, revealing a black dragon with sharp cyan glaws and a red gem in its chest, along with clear wings. The dragon roared and clapped its claws together, causing its wings to glow a bright cyan. Bahamut gave off a purple glow as it rolled down into the stadium slope, towards the center where Talthea was spinning with very little power left.
"BEHOLD, EVERYONE! MOONLIGHT VERTICAL!" Blindt shouted with a crazed smile. Bahamut rolled into Talthea like a tire on a monster truck, crashing into the crimson bey and knocking it downwards into the stadium, causing it to burst where it was. Tyler stood there, shocked and appalled. A deafening silence fell over the crowd as their eyes were as wide as pie plates.
"Moonlight Bahamut wins with a Burst Finish! Blindt DeVoy is our winner, by a score of 3-1!" Sakura pointed her left arm towards Blindt, who had quickly cooled off. He picked up his bey and looked towards Tyler with a gentle smile.
"Thank you for the opportunity to show the beauty of beyblade! It was fun battling a skilled opponent like you." Blindt politely bowed. Tyler shook off his surprise and picked up Talthea before leaving the stage, disappointed. Brandon stared at Tyler as he left the stage before walking onto the stage himself.
"I will be your next opponent. The one who defeats you in battle!" Brandon proclaimed, glaring straight into Blindt's eyes. A wave of surprise washed over the crowd. Blindt looked into Brandon's eyes and beamed from ear to ear.

"Oh my…~ something about you! It gives me great inspiration! Yes, you'll be my next masterpiece!" Blindt cheered like a kid in a candy store.
"I'm not concerned about your art, DeVoy." Brandon stated sharply. "My only concern is absolute victory!" Brandon's burgundy resonance emerged around him as he held Beelzebub in his hand. Blindt smiled.
"A battle of dark forces… darkness is the purest form of beauty! I'll accept your challenge!" Blindt proudly stated as he showed off his bey.
"Moonlight Bahamut will be your opponent!" Blindt introduced his bey, which gave off a nasty purple glow. Brandon was unfazed.
"I know your bey and exactly how it works! It will be nothing compared to Impact Beelzebub!" Brandon scoffed as he revealed his bey, which gave off a brilliant maroon shine. Then, Brandon looked to Sakura.
"Start the battle. It's time for me to crush this pest in front of me!" Brandon ordered. Sakura flinched, but she understood Brandon's order.
"Alright then. First Battle!" Sakura set the stage. Brandon and Blindt attached their beys to their launchers.
"Ready, set!" Sakura raised her arm.

"Three!" Blindt held his launcher neatly under his arm. Brandon squatted down in a wide stance.

"Two!" Blindt made a picture frame with his hands, looking at Brandon through the frame. Brandon moved his right hand behind him.

"One!" Blindt pulled his launcher out from under his hand and held it flat over the stadium with his legs together. Brandon leapt straight up into the air.

"LET IT RIP!" Blindt and Brandon both pulled as hard as they could on their launchers. Blindt's launcher had a longer string than most others. Brandon's launcher displayed scythe-like streaks of maroon lightning. Bahamut landed in the center while Beelzebub landed on the outer ring, racing around like a bullet.

"I await what you'll show me! That darkness inside of you just excites me to no end!" Blindt taunted. Brandon narrowed his glare.
"I'll crush you with all my power! Now go, Beelzebub!" Brandon called out. Beelzebub shot down the slope and crashed against Bahamut, using the jagged parts of its thunder point to grind against Bahamut before pushing it away. As Bahamut was knocked back, Beelzebub turned to smack into it again, this time using the pointed edge of its scythe to fling Bahamut backwards towards a wall. When Bahamut hit the wall, its wings retracted and the scales were pushed out to form a perfect circle.

"What intricate beauty… I'll match that with Moonlight Circle!" Blindt took out his paintbrush and painted a bright blue energy circle when then turned red. Bahamut gained a bright red energy circle, signifying it had become a perfect circle as it returned to the center. Brandon stared down at Bahamut.
"Tyler got around Moonlight Circle with a strike at Bahamut's center. I can match that precision!" Brandon thought to himself as his burgundy resonance emerged around him.
"Time to crush that bey! NOW, BEELZEBUB!" Brandon roared as his resonance exploded outwards. Beelzebub's maroon resonance shot up as the avatar emerged, depicting a black hornet demon with four blue eyes, silver armor, two pairs of dark red wings, four silver clawed arms, and black legs with red boots, along with a silver stinger on it's abdomen. The hornet demon made a shrill screech as the two scythes crackled with maroon lightning. Beelzebub was turning for the center at blazing speed.
"Now! Smash it to bits with Stinging Impact!" Brandon put his pointer and middle fingers together and thrusted them forwards like a brutal lance. Beelzebub rammed straight into Bahamut, with the point of its scythe jabbing into Bahamut's center. Bahamut was surrounded with maroon lightning as it cannonballed out of the stadium and bursted in mid-air. Blindt's eyes widened like pie plates as Bahamut's pieces clinked onto the marble floor. Brandon watched Bahamut fall, while also glaring into Blindt's eyes.
"Impact Beelzebub wins with a Burst finish! By a score of 0-2, Brandon Kinsler is our winner!" Sakura pointed her right arm at Brandon, who picked up his bey as his resonance died down.
"Disappointing… I can't believe Tyler lost to someone like you." Brandon snapped as he left the stage, turning to meet Tyler.

"How do you defeat Rantaro Kiyama and then lose to this looney?" Brandon chided, glaring into Tyler's eyes.

"Do I look like I expected that vertical move?! You try and pretend you could have seen that coming!" Tyler snapped back. Brandon scoffed, knowing Tyler had a point.
"I expect better from you. Don't disappoint me again." Brandon sharply stated as he turned to leave. Tyler left the stage and found Xarvin in the crowd. Sakura joined back up with them as Blindt left the stage. As the students filed back to the bus, Tyler was left wondering… how does he defeat Rantaro but lost to Blindt? What was he doing wrong? He needed to figure out why he was so inconsistent, and soon.
