"Vortex, Moxxie, where the hell are you!?" Loona roared stalking the school, intercepting students asking if they had seen the duo. The terrified students shook their heads, Loona tossing them aside.

"Come out cowards!" Loona roared again as she ran up the stairs, Vortex and Moxxie shot out of a corner in the shadows running to the janitor's closet.

"Oh, shit, shit, she's going to kill us!" exclaimed the completely terrified albino. "Shit, I'm too young and handsome to be murdered by a crazy woman, I haven't even made my will yet."

"No... maybe we'll be lucky and he'll just maim us for life..."-added Vortex contemplatively.

Moxxie groaned and her head hit the wall. "We have to stay here forever now!"

"Maybe he's going to the zoo to vent against the lions" -Vortex commented, Moxxie once again hit her head against the wall.

"We will never get out of this closet! From this moment on this will be our new home"

The door flew open scaring Moxxie to death, throwing herself into Vortex's arms, groaning dramatically until she realized it was just Blitzo, the raven one standing in the doorway with a confused expression on his face. "What are…do you two need a moment alone?"

Vortex released himself from Moxxie's grasp, adjusting her jacket. "No, we were just wondering if you had seen Loona?"

"No, but what did Leslie mean, you p-? "

A dark shadow fell from the stairs, Moxxie screamed again grabbing Vortex. Loona rose from her crouching position, watching them with deceptively calm eyes. Vortex watched as her hand twitched and a few seconds later a roll of toilet paper was shoved against his throat. "I'll kill you with this"

Pressing the scroll against her jugular, Vortex swallowed reflexively before Blitzo stepped between them, placing his hand on Loona's wrist. "Drop the Loony toilet paper." The recently unused nickname caught Loona off guard, Blitzo taking advantage of her moment of distraction to remove the cloth from her limp grip. Loona blew hard through her nose, Blitzo leaned against the door, suddenly looking tired and pale. "What are you guys doing?"

"We thought-"

Moxxie raised her hand and looked among her friends. "I just want to say that I am innocent in all this, I was dragged into this disaster"

Vortex silenced the albino with a look. "We thought it would be good for Blitz to date someone and-"

"So you decided to pay someone to ask him out?" Loona looked livid, her eyes narrowing into slits. She came face to face with Vortex, her face eerily close to his, and he fought the urge to withdraw from her. "Because that's the best idea I've heard in years!"

"Loona, calm down"-the raven put her hand on the girl's bicep, felt the flex of the muscle under her skin. "No, this little shit is lucky she didn't castrate him with my-"

"Stop" -three heads looked at Blitz in surprise, dumbfounded by his uncharacteristic outburst. He looked uncomfortable and sad, his eyes shining with unshed tears as they met and turned away from each other's faces.

"Just stop it, Loony. You can't act like my jealous girlfriend anymore, it doesn't work that way. That's why we broke up in the first place; You were so protective and I loved how you kept the unwanted ones away but that path would lead you to jail"-Blitz swallowed and his eyes fell to a point on Loona's shoulder. "You can't protect me all the time, Loona. I also have to fend for myself"-the jet came out of the closet, the remaining three looked at each other in silence.

Loona ran trembling fingers through her hair, fixing her eyes on Vortex. He could see her, shifting gears, shoving the sadness and fear into a trashcan in the corner, letting the anger drape over her like a cloak. "You paid a jerk to ask you out on a date"—the flat words froze them both. boys to the core, Moxxie tried to sneak out again, only to be stopped by Vortex.

"You paid a fucking jerk who couldn't put two words together to ask Blitz out on a date?!" "What's your fucking problem?!"

Her hands opened and closed at her sides, Vortex raised his hands to reassure her, "Loona, it's not what you-"

"Don't give me this shit! Why would you have to pay someone to-?"

"Fuck why are all the girls terrified of you! They are terrified to ask you out, because they know you and they know you will react like you just did!"

"That's the way I like it!" The words were shot out before Loona could censor them, Vortex noting a flash of pain in her eyes before she covered him with his normal impassivity.

"That?"

"It doesn't matter, Vortex. Get out of my fucking way"-Loona pushed him and ran out the door, grumbling teaming up with a pair of freshmen who didn't get out of his way fast enough.

Moxxie's head hit the wall with a thud as she relaxed. "Thank God it's all over, I thought he was going to eat us"

"She misses him"

Moxxie glanced at Vortex, who had followed Loona with his eyes until she disappeared around a corner. "Hey? What are you talking about, man?"

"Loona, miss Blitz. He got away, didn't you hear him?" Moxxie still seemed confused, not understanding where his friend wanted to go. "I argue that he liked people to be afraid to approach any of them. He wouldn't have said that if he didn't already have feelings for Blitz. After she and I broke up, she gave me her blessing to date whoever I wanted, and I never looked back. Nothing happened the night I invited Jazmin…"

"Except you left her in the middle of the date"

Vortex smiled a little in agreement. "Yes, but still. She didn't end up in the hospital, nor did she miss school, nor did she get gum stuck in her hair. That was just a couple weeks after we broke up. They've been together for almost 6 months, and neither of them has been on a date in all this time. I think Loona misses Blitz, we need to get them back together."

Moxxie's eyes widened, backing up against the wall. "Ohh come on man I almost died today! I no longer want to tempt my luck again. We were lucky that the princess of darkness took pity on us, I don't want to play it again!"

Vortex just smiled, grabbing him by the neck. "This is what we are going to do…"
