Chapter 7: Arcade Fun

Team 5's and the Galaxy Sister were curious as to what Sailor Moon told them.

"What's it called?" asked Jack.

"Chuck-a-Rama!" Sailor Moon said.

"Chuck-a-Rama?" repeated Jack.

"What do they have?" asked Carly.

"Everything!" Sailor Moon said.

It was a huge buffet restaurant.

"Wow! You weren't kidding!" exclaimed Leo.

"This is even bigger than the one in New Domino!" added Crow.

Scotch was in paradise. He immediately started filling a plate. Jadeite also did the same.

"Do you visit this place often?" Akiza asked the Sailor Senshi.

"When we can," Mars said.

"Everything looks so delicious!" exclaimed Carly; her mouth watering.

Radley loaded a plate too. He wanted to try as much as possible. Bellatrix slowly followed suit. Virgil was skeptical of their new allies and was eyeing the sisters warily.

"Do you think your sisters will keep to their words, Bellatrix?" asked Kalin.

"I hope so," she said.

"I must say this food is delicious, wouldn't you say, Radley?" asked Kalin.

"It sure is," Radley smiled.

"We should come back here again."

"If the ability to come back here continues, we should," Radley smiled.

"Unless the Sailor Senshi don't want us to."

"I don't see why they wouldn't," Radley said.

"True. Bellatrix, and her sisters, what do you think?"

"I think the portal can stay open," Bellatrix said. "And it should!"

"I think it should too! Oh, and by the way, what are your sisters' names?" asked Luna.

"Druella and Andromeda," Bellatrix said.

"Hi there!" Luna waved to the sisters. "My name's Luna. Nice to meet you!"

"Hello," said Druella. She was still amazed at the friendliness of everyone.

"And I'm her brother, Leo!" said Leo.

"Hello," said Andromeda. "You're really happy here, with all these people?"

"Yeah! Cause Team 5ds rules!" grinned Leo.

"Why are you all so nice?" Druella asked.

"Because we all understand the pain of coming from different backgrounds," explained Akiza. "And we united under the same cause; to bring peace to the City."

"Can there really be peace?" Andromeda asked.

"If you put your mind to it," replied Akiza.

"Would all the people everywhere really do that, though?" Druella countered.

"Sadly no, but as long as long as you remain our allies, it'll make all the difference," said Akiza.

"How? You can't fight the whole world," Andromeda objected.

"And yet you were trying to," Radley mused.

"Which planet do you three sisters come from, by the way?" asked Kalin.

"Narcissa," Bellatrix said.

"What's Narcissa like?" asked Nico.

"It's very colorful, but most of the people aren't happy," Bellatrix said.

"But still we try our hardest to satisfy them, that's what Kalin would say," said Nico.

"They wanted to connect with other worlds," Bellatrix said. "We wanted to give them that."

"We can help you out. In safe way of course!" smiled Sailor Moon.

"You really think it will work?" Druella still looked skeptical.

"Of course it'll work! That's how we met Bruno!" smiled West.

"Really?" Bellatrix was intrigued.

"He's a superhero from the future!" explained West. "Oh, and he also likes cats!"

"Why did he come back here?" Bellatrix wondered.

"Hey, Bruno, why did you decide to stay here?" asked West.

"I wanted to be with the friends I made," Bruno said.

"Aww, that's so sweet!" smiled Sailor Venus.

As they were talking, Monkey went up to Artemis and Luna and meowed.

"Hello there," Luna said.

Monkey meowed back.

"What's he saying to Luna?" asked Jupiter.

"He wants to play," Luna said.

"Do your cats play like Earth cats?" asked Nico.

"They can," Venus said. "Even though they try to say they have more dignity than that." She smiled playfully.

Monkey put a paw on Artemis's head.

"Look at him, Bruno!" giggled Akiza.

"Oh, you want to play?" Artemis said. "Okay, let's play. Outside," he added, since they were still in the restaurant.

"Yeah, some of us are still eating," nodded Jupiter.

Monkey turned to look at Bruno for his approval.

"Go ahead, but stay on the restaurant property," Bruno said. He trusted Luna and Artemis to keep him safe.

Monkey meowed in as if he said "Ok!" and ran outside the restaurant with Luna and Artemis.

Bruno chuckled, watching out the window. Yusei also went up to the window and stood next to Bruno.

"It's amazing how they all get along so well," smile Venus.

"I'm glad they do," Bruno said. "It's nice Monkey can have friends."

"It's nice seeing Artemis act like a normal cat for once," said Venus. "Are you glad you have so many friends?"

"I sure am," Bruno said.

"So am I," smiled Yusei.

"Friends make the world go round!" Scotch said.

"That's right!" cheered Sailor Moon.

Bruno filmed the kitties' playtime. Monkey tried to run around Luna and Artemis, as if he wanted to play tag.

"Okay, okay," Artemis chuckled. "Let's go." He ran ahead.

"Right," smiled Luna as she followed behind.

Monkey delighted in running around the property with the other kitties.

"He sure looks like he's having fun!" giggled Nico.

"Yeah!" West grinned. "We should play too after we eat!"

"What do you want to play?" asked Leo.

"We could play outside games like the cats, or we could go to the arcade!" West said.

"I would recommend the arcade on a full stomach," Radley said.

"I'm all down for a Turbo Duel once we get home!" exclaimed Jack.

"I'm all in for going to the arcade," smiled Mars.

"What's a Turbo Duel?" Sailor Moon asked.

She was eager to lead them to the arcade.

"Uh, maybe it's better if we show them," said Crow.

They reached the arcade and Scotch rushed inside.

Sailor Moon (who turned back into Usagi) also rushed inside to play a beat n' up game. Radley chuckled, watching them. Minako and the kids hurried to find games too.

"They're just like us," remarked Kalin.

"They sure are," Radley laughed.

"Scotch looks even more excited now that we actually met the Sailor Senshi."

"He's found a kindred spirit in Usagi," Radley chuckled.

"They're kind of like us, actually."

"Oh? Which one do you feel is like you?" Radley smiled.

"Hmm, I think I kind of relate with Sailor Mars a bit."

"Really?" Radley found that interesting.

"We both possess psychic abilities and we're a bit socially awkward."

"That fits," Radley mused.

"You're like Usagi!" Scotch said. "You brought us all together!"

Radley smiled, touched.

"Who's most likely Mercury?" asked Nico.

"Hmm. Yusei or Bruno?" Radley mused.

"Hmm, they are all very analytic. Perhaps we could ask Mercury about the technology here."

"It looks like Yusei's starting that conversation now," Radley chuckled.

"Ah, I see," nodded Kalin.

"Hey, Ami," said Yusei. "Is it ok if I asked you some questions?"

"Hmm? Oh sure," Ami said.

"What kind of technology does Tokyo specialize in?" asked Yusei.

Ami started a long explanation describing tech advances in detail. Both Yusei and Bruno listened to her with great interest. Radley smiled, a bit amused.

"Yeah, Yusei was always a tech nut," chuckled Kalin.

"He and Bruno are sure having fun now," Radley said.

"I think it's time we have our own fun, Radley. What do you say?"

Radley smirked. "I heartily agree."

"What game do you want to play?" asked Kalin.

Radley looked around the arcade. "Wanna try the racing game?"

"Hmm, alright, let's go," smirked Kalin.

Radley led him to the racing game. "You can pick first."

"Alright thanks." Kalin thought for a few seconds before deciding on the most balanced car.

Radley picked one too and settled in the seat.

"As Yusei would say: 'Let's rev it up!'" exclaimed Kalin.

Radley smirked and drove off.

The in-game announcer shouted "Go!"

Upon starting the race, Kalin tried his best to control his virtual car. Radley was doing pretty well and zipped past Kalin. Jack and Crow noticed them playing and went to watch them from behind. Some of the Bunch came over too.

"Wow,talk about a close race," remarked Crow.

"Radley will win," Scotch said confidently.

"What, you don't believe in Kalin?" scoffed Jack.

"Of course! It's just that Radley's played more," Scotch said.

"Yeah, you got a point," shrugged Crow.

Radley wouldn't count Kalin out regardless.

Kalin tried his best as he stated at the screen with an intense look on his face.

Radley kept watch on Kalin as he maneuvered his car.

"Wow, they're so close! Who's going to win?" asked West.

"Maybe it'll be a tie!" Scotch suggested.

Radley headed for the finish line. Kalin came behind in a close second. After the race ended, he sighed and shook his head.

"Hey, you did really good," Radley said.

"Um thanks, Radley," shrugged Kalin.

"You were only a couple seconds behind me," Radley said.

"Yeah, that's pretty crazy."

"You wanna go again?" Radley asked.

"Hmm, sure," nodded Kalin.

"Yusei should try this game out!" exclaimed Leo.

"He likely will," Radley chuckled.

"Let's have one more race before we lend him the wheel," smiled Kalin.

"Okay," Radley smiled. He chose a different car this time.

"Wow, they're such close friends!" smiled Usagi.

"Yes, it's nice to see," Ami smiled.

"What do you think of it, Yusei?" asked Usagi.

"I'm glad Kalin's happy," Yusei smiled.

"How long have you known each other?" asked Minako?

"Quite a few years," Yusei said. "We met when we were still kids."

"Wow! That's incredible!" gasped Minako.

"Yeah, it is," Yusei smiled.

Kalin was trying his best to win the race.

"He looks really determined," remarked Minako.

"You really might win," Radley said.

"You think so? You're pretty close you know," replied Kalin.

"So are you," Radley smirked.

Kalin managed to pull off the win this time around.

Radley grinned. "That was great! Congratulations!"

"Thanks Radley but you did great as well."

"Thanks," Radley smiled.

Yusei had been watching too. "Great job, both of you," he smiled.

"Uh, thanks Yusei. You guys were all watching Radley and I play?"

"Yeah," Yusei said.

"Talk about a crazy race! It was a tie!" exclaimed Crow.

"Well, not quite. Kalin won fair and square," Radley smiled.

"I think I need a drink from that. The rest of you guys can play," stated Kalin.

Radley got up to let Yusei and Bruno have a go.

"So, what do you want to do now, Radley?" asked Kalin.

"Get a drink," Radley smiled.

"Right," nodded Kalin. He went to the food counter to order a drink. Meanwhile, the Senshi and Shitennou were playing the other various arcade games.

Radley got one too, and turned to watch the others playing. He smiled a bit.

"I'm amazed how busy it is here."

"It's a big city, even bigger than New Domino City," Radley mused.

"It's hard to believe that."

"Yeah, it is pretty mind-boggling," Radley mused.

"Everyone seems to be having fun."

"And we did too, didn't we?" Radley said.

"Yes, we sure did," smiled Kalin.

Meanwhile, Luna was playing DDR with Makoto.

Radley looked over at the DDR game. "Scotch will be wanting in on that," he chuckled.

"Yeah, he's standing there right now," nodded Kalin.

Scotch was watching the game with rapt attention.

Luna and Makoto were playing the game on hard difficulty. Luna was doing surprisingly well.

Radley was impressed. Leo was amazed and proud.

"Wow, Luna is doing impressively well," stated Akiza.

"She sure is," Radley said.

"How long has she been playing DDR? She's as good as Makoto!" said Minako.

"We don't even play it much!" Leo said.

"Wow! She's so smart!" gasped Minako.

"She picks things up really fast!" Leo said.

"Would you like to try, Leo?" asked Akiza.

"Me?! Uh, I guess I could, but Luna's way better than me!" Leo said.

The music ended and Makoto and Luna congratulated each other.

"That was epic!" Scotch grinned.

"That was lots of fun!" smiled Luna.

"It looks fun!" Leo said.

"Do you want to play with me?" asked Minako.

"Okay!" Leo said.

Minako and Leo stepped on the dance pad.

"What song should we pick?" asked Minako.

Leo looked over the choices. He didn't know a lot of them. "Uh ... maybe this one?" He picked one at random and the music started.

"I hope he didn't choose a hard song," shrugged Luna.

Unfortunately for Leo, it was definitely a fast song.

"Whoa!" Leo struggled to keep up.

"I think Leo chose the wrong song..." sighed Rei.

Luna winced. "Poor Leo…."

"Let's not tell him we said this," said Rei.

"He's certainly trying his best," Radley said.

"I wonder what Bellatrix and her sisters think of all this?" wondered Usagi.

They looked awkward, but were playing some of the games with the others.

"Hey, Bellatrix, Druella, and Andromeda. Are you three having fun?" asked Usagi.

"Yes," Bellatrix said.

"These games are so new," Druella said.

"That's great to hear!" smiled Usagi.

"They're fun," Andromeda said.

"I know right? We should get together as much as possible!" smiled Usagi.

"Yes!" Scotch exclaimed.

"Usagi's right!" nodded Luna.

"We'll get together as much as we can," Radley promised.

"Everyone is welcome to visit Satisfaction Town," added Kalin.

"Ooh, what's it like?!" Usagi asked.

"It's themed after the Wild Wild West," explained Kalin.

"How do you theme a town after that?" Usagi blinked. American history was not a strong point for her.

"I'm not really sure to be honest. I just stumbled across it one day. You're probably better off asking Radley," shrugged Kalin.

Radley was all too happy to launch into a lesson of what the Old West was like and how their town s similar.

"Is that also why you boys wear those clothes?" asked Andromeda.

"I encourage personal style. Everyone has their own flair," Radley smiled.

"To be perfectly honest, I forget why I chose to wear these clothes," chuckled Kalin.

"Honestly, none of our clothes look like the Old West," Radley said. "Except maybe your shirt."

"Oh, I guess you're right."

"I'm more the 1950s look," Radley smirked.

"And what's with the instrument around your neck, sir?" Druella asked Kalin.

"It's a harmonica," Kalin explained, and played a few bars.

"He can play it? Wow..." marvelled Makoto.

"He's very good," Radley said.

"We were surprised when we first heard him play that," added Crow. "He didn't play anything when we were growing up."

"It's nice he's discovered a love of it now," Yusei said.

"He's a new man," nodded Jack.

"And a happier one," Crow said.

"Yeah," smiled Jack.

Scotch was getting on the DDR machine now.

"I'll be your opponent today," chuckled Zoisite.

"Okay!" Scotch said. "Let's go!"

Kunzite folded his arms and smirked a bit. Zoisite chose one of the hardest songs and started the match.

"Oh boy..." sighed Ami.

Scotch managed to keep up perfectly. Zoisite grumbled a bit when he realized how good Scotch was. Radley had to smirk. Scotch was the best dancer of the Bunch aside from himself.

Scotch grinned. "Oh yeah! This is epic!"

"Yes, it definitely is!" exclaimed Zoisite.

The game drew to its end with both of them playing very well.

"Hmm, I must say, you're much better than I thought," Zoisite smiled at Scotch.

"I'm one of the best dancers at home!" Scotch grinned. "You were great too!"

"I'm curious about your home, to be honest," said Zoisite.

"We could all go visit!" Scotch said

"When can we go?" asked Jadeite.

"Any time you want!" Scotch said.

"We'll discuss this with Endymion after we return home," said Nephrite.

"Cool. Okay!" Scotch said.

"In the meantime, what should we do now?" asked Usagi.

"Radley should do DDR!" Scotch said proudly.

"Yeah! Go for it Radley!" cheered West.

Radley chuckled and climbed up. "Okay, okay."

"Who will be his opponent?" asked Nico.

"Kalin could dance with him!" Scotch suggested.

"What me?!" exclaimed Kalin as his cheeks turned pink. "But I'm nowhere as good as Radley!"

"You placed in our contest!" Scotch said.

"Uh, guess..." Kalin stammered as he turned to Yusei, Jack, Crow, and Bruno. "What do you guys think?"

"Do it if you'd like to," Yusei said. "You're good at it."

"Yeah dude, you can do it!" cheered Crow.

Kalin nodded and smirked at Radley. "Alright, Radley, I accept your challenge."

Radley smiled. "Great! Do you wanna pick the song?"

"How about an easy one?"

"Sure." Radley looked through the options and picked one that wasn't outrageously fast.

Kalin took off his jacket and put it on the side. He took a deep breath and readied his limbs. Radley started the music.

"I wonder how this will go?" pondered Akiza.

"They'll both be great!" Scotch said.

Radley was certainly enjoying it.

"It's cool seeing Kalin dancing, to be honest," said Crow.

"It is," Yusei smiled.

"Radley really taught him a lot of stuff," said Leo.

"And he remembers it!" Scotch grinned as he filmed.

"How long have they known each other?" asked Usagi.

"A couple of years," Yusei said, "but they met once as kids too."

"Really? That's amazing!" exclaimed Usagi.

"It is," Yusei smiled.

Kalin continued to dance until the end of the song. Radley did too.

"You were both epic!" Scotch gushed.

"Thanks Scotch," smiled Kalin. "That was satisfying, Radley."

"Yes, thank you. And thanks for dancing with me, ." Radley smiled. "I really enjoyed it."

"Same here," nodded Kalin.

Everyone else agreed and cheered

"You were both great," Yusei smiled.

"Thanks Yusei," smiled back Kalin.

"Yeah, thanks," Radley smiled.

"Whew I'm tired," said Kalin as he went to fetch some water.

Radley seemed perky and happy to have played DDR.

"What time is it?" asked Kalin.

"Close to dinnertime," Radley said.

"I know the perfect place for dinner!" exclaimed Makoto.

"Great," Radley grinned.

"There's a buffet restaurant close by here," said Makoto.

"I love buffet!" Scotch said.

"How about the rest of you?" asked Makoto.

There were many happy choruses.

"Ok! Let's go now!" exclaimed Usagi.
