Me: heyy, ya'll! Summer's almost over, and I'm basically crying my eyes out. I only have 4 weeks left til back to school! And, let me say, I'm freaked out. My whole class is mean to me or my BFFs, who are total sluts. But I love them anyway.

LeShawna: wish we could help girl.

Duncan: speak for yourself.

LeShawna: don't mind him, he's just a skull-shirted punk wannabe.

Duncan: do you WANT me to mess you up?

LeShawna: bring it on, juvie boy.

Me: guys, guys. Chill. And, thanks LeShawna, but I don't need help. I can handle it. Usually.

LeShawna: good to hear.

Me: well, on with the story.

Disclaimer: I do not own these great characters but I sure wish I did!

Courtney's POV:

Another day here at Playa Des Losers. It was fantastic here, with the pool, the buffet, perfect weather, and, most importantly, no Chris. But all good things come to an end, and happiness ends there for me. All of my friends were still competing, and the only reason I was here at this fabulous resort is because of Harold. Yeah, that's right. Awkward, skinny, inept, dorky Harold switched the votes, so I would leave, not him. It was also to get back at Duncan, my boyfriend, for teasing him.

I was currently sitting on a lawn chair tanning my already light brown colored skin. There was nothing else to do. Like I said, all my friends were still at Camp Wawanakwa. Everyone else here had a friend, except Eva and Ezekiel. Beth and Cody were also tanning themselves, Katie and Sadie were swimming while admiring Justin, Tyler and Noah were helping themselves to some chicken from the buffet, Harold was hiding from me, (or so I suspected; I hadn't seen him at all.) and Izzy was swinging from treetops like the psycho she is.

I watched last week's challenge, so I knew that Harold switched the votes on me, that Trent had to get reboned, that LeShawna and Heather got in a fight, and that Bridgette and Gwen found a haiku poem and became determined to find out who it was for. Something happened to everyone except Owen. And the only thing that got me scared was when Duncan crashed into a rock and was flung into a tree in an attempt to win his team victory. Sadly, he failed.

Well, when I saw that, you have no idea how much I wanted to comfort him, to help him. And I would have, had I not been stuck here. Chris has some nerve keeping me here. I mean, I am here unfairly. Maybe they could send Heather home instead, that'd do us all a favor. "Hey, guys!" Katie called. "They're about to begin this week's challenge! Hurry up!" "I don't want to." Beth said. Cody agreed. "Who wants to watch Heather bully Lindsay some more?" he said. "Yeah, but she might get voted off." Katie said, with a slight eye-roll. I was liking her more already. Sadie, on the other hand, was as annoying as ever. "Oh, c'mon guys! It'll be fun!" Sadie said. "Is everything fun to you?' I asked. Katie stuck her tongue out at me while Sadie said, "oh, you're just mad that I knocked you out with an apple."

I stood up. "fine, I'm coming." I said. And actually, I wanted to. I wanted to see if Duncan was going to nearly kill himself again. But, believe me; I do not need that kind of stress in my life. I walked inside the resort with Katie, Sadie, Justin, Izzy, Noah, Tyler, and Ezekiel. Eva wanted to work out some more but said she'd join us later. Harold was still hiding and Beth and Cody said they weren't coming. Whatever. We didn't need them.

It was like 7 AM, but we all got up early on challenge days, probably by force of habit for some people, like me. What the remaining campers didn't know was that everything they did during the challenge was broadcasted to us, along with the rest of the world. I know that my team didn't know that, because Bridgette had told me she didn't want the voted-off campers to see Geoff's horrible attempts to woo her.

Well, we turned on the TV just as the challenge was starting. We watched as the remaining 10 campers walked into the mess hall. "What, no food?" Trent asked. "Oh, don't worry. There will be plenty of food later on." Chris said, then burst into a fit of giggles. When everyone was settled, Chris made an announcement. "Congratulations, you remaining 10 campers have reached the halfway mark. You now all qualify for the $100,000." He paused to let the teams cheer. "Next week the teams will be dissolved. So, for now, all the girls will bunk in the Gophers' cabin, and the boys in the Bass cabin." He said.

We all looked at the TV screen. The teams were basically gone! It was now every camper for themselves. I stared in shock, but I was positive that Gwen, LeShawna, Bridgette, and Duncan would go far. And they were the only ones I cared about.

I turned my attention back to the show. "We also have some good news. This week, no one will be going home. Instead, the winners will receive a reward, and it's a good one." Chris continued. "Wait, what's the challenge?" Duncan asked. "I'm glad you asked that. This week's challenge is an age-old one: a battle of the sexes. Boys and girls will compete against each other for the reward. Now, time to relocate!" Chris explained.

The show went to a commercial after that, but I could tell that there was some major friction going on between the girls and nothing between the guys. With the remaining girls, Bridgette was probably going to have to pick a side in the cabin. Gwen and LeShawna made mortal enemies with Heather and Lindsay. I hoped with my heart that Bridgette was going to be a peace maker. But then I'm expecting a miracle.

I stood up to go to the bathroom; we had a few minutes before the show started again.

Normal POV:

As Courtney got up to go to the bathroom, she failed to notice someone watching her. And no, it wasn't a spy or prowler. It was one of the ex-campers. Now, this certain ex-camper really didn't like Duncan. And it wasn't Harold. He got his revenge. In fact, it wasn't even a Killer Bass. So that left Beth, Cody, Justin, Izzy, and Noah.

Now, why didn't this person like Duncan? Cause they had gotten in a fight with Duncan over Courtney. Like hell was Duncan best for her! So the person went to talk with Katie, who secretly liked Duncan. (Not that she'd tell, it was too embarrassing that a nice girl like her fell for the delinquent. Sadie didn't even know.) But this person knew.

So while Katie was being dragged outside, (not literally!) the person was formulating a plan. When the pair was far enough away from the others, they said, "Listen, Katie, I know you like Duncan. Don't even deny it. I like Courtney, and since the two are together, why not split them up?" Katie just stood there for a second before smiling an evil smile that no one had ever seen her use. "Let's do it! Do you have an idea in mind?" she asked. "O yeah. Here's what we'll do…." The person explained the plan, half whispering, to Katie. The pair seemed extremely happy when they walked away. They knew their lives on this stupid show were about to get better.

What they didn't know was that Harold, still hiding from Courtney, had been behind a nearby bush, not wanting to move incase the one of the people was Courtney. And he heard the whole thing.

Me: ok, that's not originally how I wanted the story to go. It just happened. Also, it seems like a better way for the story to go.

Courtney: someone likes me? Is he cute?

Duncan: Hey! I'm right here, princess!

Courtney: well, if someone likes me, I don't want it to be, say, Noah.

Noah: I'm here too!

Katie: I made a deal with someone cause I like DUNCAN?!

Courtney: don't you try to steal my man!

Katie: I wasn't going to!

Me: (sigh) where's DubbleV's bat when you need it?

Everyone immediately shuts up.

Me: now that you're quiet……Noah, baby, wanna sign us out?

Noah: ugh. Fine. Review, people. Dramaprincess- can I call you DP15? Well too bad cause I'm gonna- review or DP15 won't post the next chapter.
