Transformers War for Cybertron: An Old War.
Chapter 8: The New and Improved Autobot Army.
(Metroplex City, Outseek's POV...)
We stood alongside Tailpunch as he and our army of scientists readied the protoforms and the sparks he accumulated from the Well of All Sparks so far.
After Tailpunch put the sparks in the protoforms, we allowed them to scan all sorts of civilian vehicles and military vehicles in the Cybertronian version: air carriers, aircraft carriers, airplanes, ambulances, amphibious ATVs, amphibious buses, amphibious cars, amphibious combat vehicles, amphibious hovercraft, amphibious trucks, armored cars, articulated hauler trucks, tracked asphalt pavers, wheeled asphalt pavers, backhoe loaders, battleships, biplanes, bombers, boom lifters, buggies, bulldozers, bullet trains, buses, taxi cabs, cabin cruisers, campers, cars, cargo ships, choppers, clipper ships, cold planers, combine harvesters, compact cars, concrete mixer trucks, container ships, cranes, delivery trucks, delivery vans, tank destroyers, diesel trucks, double drum rollers, dump trucks, eighteen wheeler trucks, excavators, express trains, feller bunchers, fire trucks, fire boats, flatbed trucks, forklift trucks, forwarders, freight trains, freighter ships, garbage trucks, cargo helicopters, assault helicopters, Humvees, hydrofoils, hydroplanes, jeeps, fighter jets, fighter-bomber jets, air superiority jets, early warning jets, jet boats, jet skis, jetliners, jumbo jets, limousines, locomotives, lorry trucks, minibuses, minivans, motor graders, motorboats, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, oil tanker ships, oil tanker trucks, pickup trucks, police cars, pumper trucks, race cars, rail carriers, road carriers, school buses, sea carriers, seaplanes, semi trucks, skidders, skid steer loaders, space shuttles, snow cat trucks, snowmobiles, snowplow trucks, spaceships, SUVs, sports cars, SSTs, submarines, subway trains, railroad trains, tanks, telehandlers, tow trucks, tractors, tractor-trailer trucks, trenchers, vans, warships, wheel tractor scrapers, and so forth.
Tailpunch gave each and every one of these new Autobots names, and after traveling 10 billion stellar cycles in the past to train them for the next 9 million stellar cycles, they returned 10 astro-seconds after the moment they initially left, looking more and more built than before.
Along with that, every one of the lookalike Autobot drones or clones or anyone else generally sharing the same appearances as each other were given sparks of their own to distinguish them from the Decepticon drones who either have sparks of their own or were sparkless mass produced computerized troops of various kinds.
Of course, for our own troops, Tailpunch utilized designs that were not of our universe but still something he says Primus had in his own memory banks for reference.
There was even protoform soldiers who for some reason didn't want any vehicle modes despite one of the benefits of having a vehicle mode is also having a set of armor for protection.
But after simple persuasion, they scanned the remaining vehicle holograms and they were also given new names alongside the others.
We were now ready to strike back at the Decepticons at full force if needed.
(300 solar cycles before the start of the Great War, third person POV...)
In the city of Cybertropolis, Omega Danger is walking to his workplace when he encounters a burly truck mode civilian.
The civilian questions, "Where do you think you're going, stranger?"
Omega Danger replies, "Nowhere that concerns you, sir."
Omega Danger knew he actually could take on potential bullies like this one, but he'd rather not get arrested for assault unless the potential bully throws the first punch.
The civilian snarls in reply, "Nyrgh! You better show me some respect!"
Omega Danger walks past the burly truck mode civilian, but he roughly grabs Omega by his right arm and says, "Don't ignore me, little bot!"
Suddenly, a Cybertropolis police officer arrives on the scene and says while aiming his gun at the burly civilian, "Freeze!"
The burly civilian throws Omega Danger into the alleyway and charges towards the police officer, only for a large blaster bolt to tear through his chestplate.
The civilian looks at his chestplate in pain and horror before dropping to the floor, completely offline.
The police officer looks around for the murderer, but seeing as how the murderer was disguised as another police officer to direct the first officer in the opposite direction, the second police officer who was Omega Danger in disguise managed to get to his workplace without a trace and without any evidence left behind with 4 astro-minutes to spare.
In his office, Omega Danger whispers to himself while being thankful that his coworkers and himself are rarely put on surveillance, "(Softly) Man, that could've been the end of my story. If what Tailpunch says is true and that there'll soon be war, I better not kill anyone unless I have a good reason. I'd be better off as an Autobot if it means sparing the lives of enemies
Omega Danger gets to work on his welding datapad and the rest is history.
The End.
(Author's notes: In the next chapter, Superion will be formed alongside another Aerialbot combiner and they will take on Menasor when he shows up again.
See you all in chapter 9: Superion and Brightwing vs. Menasor.)
