Elsa and Peter were currently asleep in their bed when a sudden noise awakened Elsa. She gasped awake as she looked around the room, holding her covers up to her neck.
"What was that?" Elsa asked, waving her hand to use her powers and turn on the lamp in the room.
She then listened for a second before turning off the light, not hearing anything. However, when there was another thud, she turned the light back on and off, as the noise subsided each time. Her constant flickering had apparently woken Peter up; he removed his red mask with a white spiderweb design.
"Elsa, darling?" Peter called out.
"Yes, dear," Elsa responded.
"Are you using your snow magic to turn on and off the lights?" Peter asked her.
"Yes, dear," Elsa affirmed.
"Allow me, honey," Peter said as he gets up and turned the lamp on before opening the shades.
Elsa asked in concern, "What do you see?"
"Only your lovely white roses," Peter complimented his wife as he continued to look around.
"That's all?" Elsa asked, confused. "Are you using your super senses?"
"I sense nothing wrong or amiss. You have no reason-," Peter promised her as he turned around to face her just as a bang was heard, causing Peter to shriek and jump back into bed.
Elsa looked over at her husband with a look of 'I told you so' on her face. "As you were saying..."
"Actually, I did hear a few rumors at the office about some unsavory characters settling in the neighborhood." Peter suddenly remembered. "Now, who knows what those ne'er-do-wells might be up to? Robbing houses, vandalizing property."
"Climbing up walls. Freezing objects with solid ice," Elsa declared jokingly, but in a sinister tone.
"What? Honey, you don't think they were referring to us?" Peter shook his head. "We've lived here for years; no one's ever suspected us before."
"Well-" Elsa was going to respond when another thud is heard, causing the two to shriek. Elsa then used her powers to accidentally freeze the ground.
"One of us should determine the source of that sound," Peter stated as he pulled the covers over his head.
"Yes. One of us should," Elsa stated as she looked to Peter as another thud was heard. "Okay, now this is getting ridiculous!" she declared while holding her hands up and snowflakes started to come from her palm. "I'm going to take a look."
Peter started to shudder in fear as the snowflakes flew from Elsa and she opened the curtains, revealing that it was just a tree branch smacking against their window. Elsa looked surprised and embarrassed at the same time but refused to show her embarrassment.
"Well, I think we handled that well," Elsa stated triumphantly.
"Yes, I must say I'm very proud of myself," Peter stated as he got back into bed. "But I must say, now that I'm filled with all of this adrenaline, I don't know what to do with it."
Elsa then smiled seductively at her husband. "I think I can think of a few things."
Peter seemed to catch on and smiled back. "Elsa, darling?"
"Yes, dear," Elsa replied with a seductive tone.
Peter asked her, "Get the light," and they both crawled under the covers.
