Author's Notes: I am sorry for this, but I have a plan for our dear Hermione Dumbledore. I don't know how you all feel about it. Just bare with me, I plan to have a good ending.

Chapter 25: I'm Done With Them

Hermione stormed all the way to the dungeons and into Snape's classroom. He was still finishing up with the 1st years lesson. Snape looked up just as Hermione walked in. He cocked his head to one side. It looked like she had been crying. Was she still crying? Whose neck does he need to break?

"Come on in, Miss Dumbledore. You can help me with this." Snape said.

Smiling, Hermione walked up to her Godfather. She wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I'm teaching the Forgetfulness Potion. What are the three most crucial ingredients?"

"Lethe Water, Mistletoe Berries, and Valerian Springs." Hermione said with confidence.

Snape couldn't keep himself from smiling. "Very good. 5 points to Gryffindor."

The Gryffindors smiled and nodded to Hermione. Hermione nodded back.

"You can sit at my desk and study for a bit while I finish up the lesson." Snape said.

Hermione nodded her head, she grabbed her books and the ones she got from the library so she could finish up her homework. She was almost done anyway.

"Is everything alright? Do I need to slip someone a poison? Mister Weasley Perhaps?"

Hermione couldn't help but to giggle. This made Snape chuckle a little. He liked that he could relax around her and McGonagall.

"I don't think I can being friends with Harry and Ron." Hermione said.

"You know you don't have to. Just because you are in Gryffindor doesn't mean you have to be friends with the ones in your house. There are loads of 4th years that you can be friends with." Snape explained, leaning a hip against his desk.

"I wish I would've been put in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor." Hermione confessed.

"That bad?"

Hermione nodded her head as the tears threatened to fall again. Snape placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"Unfortunately we can't have you switch houses. You are already staying in your room instead of in the tower. Maybe we can talk to your parents about letting you sit with Draco at the Slytherin table from now on."

"Really?" Hermione genuinely smiled. She was actually excited at the thought.

"As Head of Slytherin house, I give you permission to sit at the Slytherin table and hang out in the common room."

"What about the password and me in Gryffindor robes?" Hermione asked.

"I can see what I can do. You hang out down here enough anyway." Snape said.

Hermione laughed. He had a point there.
