Arabelle cleared her throat, interrupting the brothers' conversation.

"Hello? Did either of you hear what I just said? Were you paying any attention at all?"

Eugene gulped, a bit concerned, but Flynn just responded calmly.

"Was I supposed to be paying attention to you, Princess? Here I thought you were just talking to your sister. You didn't need me to interrupt you."

Irritated, Arabelle just glared at him. "I can get to know my sister anytime. We need to figure out how to get Rapunzel back to the palace safely. Now that her hair is brown, she looks even more like our mother."

"What's wrong, Princess? You don't think you can sneak her in like you sneak out all the time?" Flynn asked snidely.

"Of course I can, Flynn. But that's usually at night, not in the middle of the day. Besides, I need you guys to come with me."

"Wait, why? Usually it's me insisting on escorting you home, not you asking for help."

She's hiding something, Eugene. I just wish I had an idea of what it could be. Flynn reached out to his brother.

Yeah, but I doubt it's anything bad. She's rebellious but not particularly bad. We should just play along.

Flynn sighed. Fine, but I don't have to like it.

Yeah like you really dislike hanging out with her. I've seen the way you look at her.

You shut up, Eugene. She's like an annoying little sister.

Uh huh, yeah right. Whatever. Eugene was almost laughing at Flynn's reaction.

"Uh guys? Are we just gonna stand here all day?" Arabelle asked, clearly annoyed.

"Nah, we can go. I say let's not introduce the guards down there to Rapunzel. Just tell them that we need to head back to the palace." As usual, Flynn was first to comment.

"Actually," Arabelle stated. "I have a better idea. I need the guards to run an errand for me. That will get them out of the way for us to head back to the palace without the showy escort."

"An errand? What type of errand?" Flynn asked suspiciously.

"Just a message I need them to deliver for me. Let me go tell them what I need. Then, when they're gone, we can head back to the palace. Be right back."

Flynn shook his head but Arabelle was already heading back down the stairs and outside to where the guards were waiting. After a few minutes, Arabelle yelled that it was time to go. The guards had left and Arabelle was in a hurry to get back to the palace, impatient to show her parents that Rapunzel was home.

"Was there anything you wanted to take with you, Rapunzel?" Eugene asked.

"No, it's ok. I can always send a guard back to get anything. I don't think I really want to take much with me. It would be a reminder of everything THAT WOMAN stole from me."

Rapunzel turned to leave, only making sure Pascal was back on her shoulder before leaving the tower. Soon the four were on their way back to the palace. After a while, Arabelle turned to the others.

"I don't want to go in the front way. Follow me and we can clean up before we see our parents, Rapunzel."

"Are you sure they won't be disappointed in me?" Rapunzel asked Arabelle nervously. "I didn't exactly learn proper royal etiquette."

"They won't be disappointed. They will just be happy to have you home where you belong."

"Home, yeah." Rapunzel shrugged. "Okay, if you're sure."

A few minutes later, Arabelle led the others through a side door and into the main part of the castle. Rapunzel was wide-eyed seeing the opulence of the palace and comparing it to what she had grown up with. Not allowing Rapunzel to brood, Arabelle pulled her forward.

"Come on, sis. It will be ok." After a short break, the four headed back to the throne room to locate the king and queen. On the way, Arabelle noticed Colton had returned to the palace. Telling the others to wait, Arabelle walked over to the guard.

"Were you able to deliver the message?" Arabelle whispered urgently.

"Yes, Your Highness," he replied quietly. "I believe they got here about 10 minutes ago."

"Perfect. Thank you, Colton," Arabelle whispered back. "Can you bring them to the main balcony? All of them, not just my parents."

"Of course, Your Highness. At once," Colton replied before turning and leaving. Arabelle nodded her thanks and turned back to the others.

"Rapunzel, our parents are out on the balcony. Let's go out there. You guys too. I'm sure they will want to thank you both for bringing her - well us, home."

On the balcony, all but Arabelle appeared confused. Looking around trying to figure out where the king and queen were. They had all turned and were looking out over the kingdom when the doors behind them burst open. As a group, the four turned back around to face the doors.

"Arabelle, is it true? Is this…." The queen cut off when she got a good look at the young woman standing next to Arabelle. "Rapunzel?" she asked quietly. "It is you!" she exclaimed. "You're really here."

With that the king and queen raced over and quickly gathered both girls into a quick hug. Turning, they then grabbed Eugene and Flynn, pulling them both into the hug as well. After a moment, there was a gasp at the door, alerting them to another's presence. Arabelle looked at the doors and grinned, nodding to the couple standing there before moving out of the way so they had a clear view of Flynn and Eugene. Before the couple spoke, Arabelle nudged Flynn which caused him to stumble into Eugene. Both of them turned to see who was at the door.

"M-m-mom?" Eugene asked hesitantly. "Is it really you?" Without waiting for a reply, Eugene broke out of the hug and ran to his mother.

"Eugene," his mother said lovingly. "Flynn, I am so happy to see you both. I would like to introduce you to…"
