"This is fun, new rule; no clothes in my room," Violet announced while Lucy and Patty rub her.

"You just like the attention," Patty smiled.

"I do! But seriously… thank you so much for making me do this, I feel really connected to you both, it's weird, yet… feels natural," she rolled over with her head in Lucy's lap.

"Glad you like it, both of you, but I would like to get my car and see Charlie," Patty explained.

"Our new boyfriend," she sat up.

"That's right, sweetie… our shiny new boyfriend. I'd like a shower, too," Lucy replied.

"We… couldshowertogether," Violet beamed.

"Next time, okay," Lucy kissed her forehead.

"I know it's all new, but slow down a bit, we're just getting started," Patty giggled.

"I'm just excited."

"We know… and it's really adorable," Lucy smiled.

"Okay, I'm going to take a shower and we can go," she kissed them both on the forehead.

"Sal you need to calm down," Jennifer glared.

"You let him have three girlfriends and I can't even see my one boyfriend!"

"We didn't let him do anything," she corrected.

"Did they give you permission to date Linus," Charlie rose an eyebrow.

"No."

"Then why you- what is wrong with you‽ Why is this an issue, do you not want me happy?"

"Because of who you're dating."

"Do I complain about you dating Linus?"

"No, he's your best friend."

"That I barely hang with because he's always with you."

"Sally," Jennifer held her temples.

"Shhh… I think we might have a breakthrough," Reginald said.

"True… you don't complain- that I know of."

"So what's wrong with who I'm dating?"

"You're dating Patty, Lucy and Violet."

"You like Patty and Lucy, I wish you would get to know Vee."

"I do like Patty, I liked Lucy until she snitched on me."

"You were in the wrong! Lucy really likes you, she thinks you're her friend, despite you being a jerk to her. You yelled at her at dinner, you thought she stole my car, after she begged to be friends with you and you said you would. Is that fair‽"

"No, no it's not."

"Either trust her and be a real friend to her, or leave her alone. Don't mess with her head. And another thing; you're not going to be mean to Vee either, I won't have her upset because you wanna give her shit over a choice I made to save her," he starts to grow angry.

Reginald cleared his throat.

"Okay! I won't be mean to your girlfriends, and I'm sorry, I didn't want to believe Violet changed even with all the proof."

"Thank you."

"I can't believe you of all people, managed to get three… even if they are those girls. They picked you… crazy."

Charlie gave his parents a smug look.

"I hate to admit it, but they're cuter than me. I could picture you with Marcie, or Eudora, maybe even Royanne or Truffles."

"I get it," he rolled his eyes.

"I'm just saying," she shrugged.

"At least I get to see mine," he teased.

"Mom," Sally cried.

The doorbell rang.

"Quiet inmate," Charlie got up to answer it.

"He called me an inmate, are you going to let him get away with that‽"

"Don't yell at the warden, Sally," Reginald said.

"Oh stop it dear."

"Babe," Patty squealed.

"Girls."

Charlie kissed Patty.

"Sweetheart," Lucy wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Lover boy," Violet pulled him into a kiss.

He closed the door behind them while they said hello to his parents.

"Hello girls," Reginald put his paper down.

"Afternoon mister and misses Brown," Patty greeted.

"Hi," Lucy greeted.

"Hello," Violet greeted.

"So girls… the three of you have an eye for my Charlie," Jennifer asked.

They looked at each other nervously, waiting for somebody to speak up.

"Nobody has anything to say, not even you Lucy?"

"We… we really love him," Lucy quietly spoke.

The other two were too afraid to say anything.

"Jennifer, they're good girls, don't do this," Reginald narrowed his eyes.

"Did we do something wrong," Violet asked.

"No," Jennifer sighed, "this is just a shock, I guess. He told us last night, but seeing it is a different story and I don't want him hurt."

"I never want to hurt him again," Violet blurted.

"Why would we do that, even if we wasn't dating him, he's the reason the three of us are actually friends again and I'm not really a mean person," Patty explained.

"Mom, I like these girls, I want to be with them."

"I don't mean to be rude- for once. I don't care who doesn't approve, I'm in love with him, have been for a while now. I'm not walking away from this," Lucy spoke with conviction.

"Everybody just has to cope," Violet said.

"Is that how you really feel," Jennifer asked.

The girls nodded.

"That's good, because you never know what'll test the relationship. Are you girls hungry?"

"We had the rest of the pizza from last night," Violet answered.

"I was really just stopping by to say hello, before getting my car," Patty said.

"I wanna shower and change clothes," Lucy whined.

"Did… did you girls know I was messing with you," she looked confused.

"We know how overprotective you can be, misses Brown," Lucy replied.

"Had me fooled, Jenny.

"Me too, dad," Charlie frowned.

"You three really like my brother, huh? Patty, were you about to cry?"

"Maybe."

"Go on and go, baby girl, it's fine," Lucy hugged her.

"Yeah, nobody is breaking us up," Violet hugged her.

Charlie kissed her, "love you, okay? Do your thing."

"Oh my god, that was precious," Jennifer said after Patty left.

"She's kinda sensitive, you have to be easy with her," Violet explained.

"Patty is better than all of us. I'm going to shower and change clothes, I can come back."

"Wait! Can I talk to you two… alone," Sally asked.

"Sure lil sis."

"Lil sis," Violet chortled.

They followed Sally to the front porch.

"I owe the both of you a big apology, I was out of line."

"Say no more, just be better. I know it's probably hard to trust me, I'm doing my best," Lucy said.

"And Violet, I shouldn't have done what I did, you were worried about Charlie, too. I realize how much you care about each other, and you have changed… both of you."

"Sally, I don't know what to say."

"I got your backs from now on out, okay? Neither of you did anything wrong, I guess I gotta prove myself, to you girls."

Lucy and Violet simply hugged her.

"The fact you care enough to try means a lot to me," Violet said.

"Now I need that shower," Lucy said.

"Not without saying bye to your boyfriend," Sally grabbed her.

"I live right there."

"No excuses. You too."

"I was staying."

"Fine…. I won't argue," Lucy went back inside.

"You better," Sally smiled.
