Chapter 12: Saving Acme

The Warners, the general, and his soldiers snuck around, trying to find an exit while trying not to get caught. They then saw a sign that led to upstairs. A door was present, which had a small window to look through. Yakko took a peak and saw dozens toons who worked with Acme tied up. "Just let us go man!" said one of them. "Sorry but no," said one of Townly's employees, "You toons have put too much on us over the years. Now we can get rid of pests like you." Townly's employees lined up with hoses filled with dip, aimed at the Acme employees.

Yakko looked back at everyone. "I don't know where we are, but I'm guessing we are in that guys headquarters, since he's holding Acme's employees hostage," said Yakko. The general took a look out the window, "We need to react quick and fast, but me and my men have been stripped of our weapons. However, it looks like there is more of us, than there is of them."

"Well, this is it guys," said one of the Acme employees, "It was nice knowing y'all." They then noticed the Warners and the others sneaking up behind Townly's employees, before attacking them. It seemed like a struggle at first, but they were able to get Townly's employees down. "Is that perfect timing or what?" asked one of the Acme employees. "Those aren't even cops, I don't think at least," replied one of the other Acme employees.

Soon enough, they were set free from being tied up. "Hold on, you kids look familiar," said an Acme employee. "We're the Warner brothers!" said Yakko and Wakko. "And the Warner sister!" added Dot. Their parents came up next to them. "And we're the Warner parents," said Angelina. The Acme employees gasped. "I knew you guys from somewhere," said one of them, "But your parents? I never even knew you had parents." "It's a long story," said William, "We'll talk about it after."

Just then, one of Townly's employees pressed a button which was the alarm. "Well, there goes our hopes of getting out quickly," said Dot. "Not yet," said William, "Everyone! Find something that can be used as a weapon!" William, his family, General Marius, and the soldiers quickly got stuff to help aid them in taking down Townly's employees.

Townly's employees came into the room, confused at what the hell was going on. They noticed the other employees all on the ground hurt, but didn't see anyone or anything unusual. That was until the Warners and everyone else came in to attack. Within minutes, most Townly's employees were down. The rest ran away, possibly to either get dip or to report this to Townly.

Everyone made their way through the halls, coming across several employees and having to attack their way through them. Some got nerf like guns and attempted to shoot them with the dip. This caused the Warners and everyone to have to hide and/or take cover. The dip didn't get any of them and they soon made their way past the halls, the office and business area, and got into the most difficult area, the dip room. Several times, they were almost hit, but managed to take all of Townly's employees in there out.

Once they reached the garage area, they got into some of the vehicles which were mostly black vans. The Warners got into the first one, the general and some of his soldiers got into the second one with half of the Acme employees, while the other soldiers and the other half of the Acme employees got into the third one. "Me and my men are gonna take the Acme employees away from this place and to safety," called General Marius, "We're likely to go to the police station to report this. What about you?" "We are more or less likely to pay Townly a little visit!" Yakko replied, "Because we have a chairman and a corporation to save!"

One of the soldiers pressed the garage door open buttons, before going back into one of the vans. Townly's employees came rushing out but everyone zoomed off before they could close the garage or block their paths.

At the Acme headquarters, Mr. Chairman came through the doors leading to his meeting room. He looked awfully tired and was in his pajamas, which had Looney Tunes characters on there. Mr. Chairman yawned, "Okay, you gentlemen better have a good reason for calling me in at 12am for an emergency meeting! What seems to problem?" He rubbed his eyes and when he could see a little more clearly, adrenaline very quickly kicked in. Townly and his group had the higher-ups with guns pointed at their heads.

"Glad you made it chairman!" Townly said as he went of to Mr. Chairman and pointed his gun at him, "We figured we'd stop by a local gun store before making our way here." Mr. Chairman was in shock, "What the hell is this about?!" "I'm going to pull off what Dingeri Dingo had done 4 years ago, but instead of Tazmania, it's you guys, the Acme Corporation!" Townly announced grandly, "So do me a favor, and sign these papers, giving me all rights to own Acme." One of Townly's men got a stack of papers with a pen and set it on the table. Mr. Chairman had a pretty good idea of what he was supposed to do. "No, no!" he said, "I know what your planning to do! Your planning to run Acme into the ground, just so you can put all our toons out of the job, giving you the chance to-"

Townly shot at the ceiling, making the chairman and the higher-ups jump. "You want me to take away you and your little Acme do-gooder's lives?" asked Townly. Mr. Chairman gulped as he looked at the higher-ups, giving him the look that he should sign the papers. Mr. Chairman sighed as he went over to sign the papers. "Good choice," Townly murmured, still having the gun point to Mr. Chairman's head.

The Warners could see the Acme building far in the distance, due to the giant red Acme sign on top. "We're getting pretty close!" said Yakko. "Townly has hurt enough lives already, we don't need him adding a chairman to his list," said William. "I hope we're not too late," said Angelina.

Back at Acme, Mr. Chairman had signed everything he possibly could. "Okay, I signed everything!" he said, "Despite you doing this plan completely out of nowhere, I did it! Now can you let go of me and my higher-ups?!" "Yeah, we're done," Townly replied, "Well...almost." "Almost?!" asked one of the higher-ups. "Yep, almost," said Townly, "You see, due to this operation, I don't think we should take the risk keeping you guys alive in case you attempt to report us to police." One of Townly's employees ran into the room, "Mr. Townly, I just got a call from HQ, they say that-" "Not now, I'm attending to important business," Townly said. "But sir," the employee said again, "They say it's an emerg-" "I said not now!" Townly snapped, "Whatever is going on at HQ, tell them I said I'll deal with it immediately after dealing with Mr. Chairman!"

Mr. Chairman noticed Townly was distracted, so he immediately took advantage of this. He kicked Townly in the leg, making him fall over, before he took all the papers he signed with him. Townly and his men attempted to shoot Mr. Chairman, but he was already out the door by then. "GODDAMMIT!!!" Townly screamed as he got up, "Kill these higher-ups! Make it look like suicide, as I'm gonna make it look with chairman!" Townly then ran out of the room to go after the chairman.

Around this time, the Warners had just arrived to the Acme building and took the elevator to the higher levels. "Are you guys prepared?" asked Yakko. His siblings and parents weren't so sure. "Well, we'll do what we can either way," he assured.

Mr. Chairman pressed the elevator button a lot where he was. He narrowly missed getting shot at by Townly, before he got into the elevator. The doors closed, before Townly could stop it or get in. Townly then saw the staircase which he immediately took. Right as he did so, little to his knowledge, the Warners had just arrived to the floor he was just on.

"Gentlemen," said one of higher-ups, "It's been an honor working with you all." "Look at the bright side," said one of Townly's employees, "At least you all get to see each other, in the next life." The Warners could hear what was going on since there walked up right next to the room. "We need to think of something fast!" whispered William.

Right as the higher-ups believed they were going to get shot, the lights went off as the door shut. "Hey, what's going on?" asked one of Townly's men. "I can't see a damn thing!" said one of the them. There a bit of a silence, until the sounds of hits and grunts were heard, as bodies fell. It was impossible to tell who it exactly was.

The lights went back on and the higher-ups saw the Warners and their parents with random utensils that were used to knock Townly's guys out. "The Warner brothers and their sister Dot?!" one of the higher-ups exclaimed, "And who are they?!" "It's a long story, you'll find out in next weeks newspaper," said Dot. Wakko then went over shaking the 4 higher-ups hands. "It's nice to meet all of you Acme guys," he said, "I didn't know there were 4 separate chairman." "None of us are chairman, we're the higher-ups who are just a step behind him," said one of the higher-ups, "Before you guys got here, Mr. Chairman ran out and now I believe Townly is chasing the old guy."

On the ground level, Mr. Chairman just arrived and was about to run out, until he noticed the small fireplace in the lobby. He threw the papers he signed into there and watched them burn. "Your not taking me down that easily Walter," he murmered. However, he heard a door opening and running feet. It was at that moment he knew he had to run.

Townly ran to the lobby and looked around. He then saw the burning stack of paper. "No, no, no, no, NO!!!" he bellowed as he tried get the burning papers out, but it was no use. All the papers burned, which ment Mr. Chairman would still run as chairman. Townly's eyes lit up with fury.

Chairman ran to the front to see the van the Warners got there on. He quickly got in it and drove off. Townly ran to the front and saw the chairman drive away. "Go ahead and drive," Townly growled, "Because I know something that I can catch up to you in." Townly then ran back inside. To get what exactly? Well, Townly came out with some kind of robot like suit that was large and mostly made out of metal. He came out from the back area of the building, since it was about the size of a Cessna.

Townly went after the chairman, crushing his men's, Mr. Chairman's, and the higher-ups vehicles, though that was mostly by accident. "Ah shit," he said, "I'll just call whoever to pick us up after this. The chairman and his higher-ups won't need their cars anyway. They'll be better off in a scrap yard." Right as the Warners ran out of the elevator, through the lobby, and to the front, they saw a big robot suit running down the street and noticed the van missing. "Let's get a vehicle from the back," said Angelina. But when they got there, they saw all vehicles crushed. All except for one which was parked to the side, an excavator.

Meanwhile, chairman was driving in a very woods like part and eventually found himself driving through a rough pathway that was clearly ment for just walking. Eventually, the van got stuck and Chairman knew he had to leave the vehicle. He ran for a short distance before he came across a dead end which was the cliff. "Oh no," he said.

He then heard super loud footsteps and the sounds of metal and glass being crushed, likely the van. "I knew I shouldn't have told him about my secret suit," Mr. Chairman sighed. Townly showed up in it and grabbed him. "Well then," he said, "Not only should you not have showed me your secret suit, but you certainly shouldn't have burned those papers!" "You were gonna kill me anyway!" Mr. Chairman snapped. "That I was, but now I'm gonna make it really look like you committed suicide!" Townly snapped as he picked up the chairman and put him over the cliff, "I'm sure this isn't the way you hoped you would go out. But don't worry, this will only hurt a lot!" Mr. Chairman screamed in panic, scared that this waz gonna be the end of him.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of a horn, as lights shown on him and Townly. Trees came crashing down and it was revealed the Warners were all in the excavator. "Leave him alone!" called Angelina. "Yeah, get your hands off the old man!" added Wakko. William who waz driving the excavator plowed the bucket into part of the suit Townly was in. "Take that!" yelled Dot. It dug further which was enough for Townly to forget about the chairman and have his attention to the Warners. He let go of Mr. Chairman but since he was angled more towards the excavator since they got there, Mr. Chairman only fell to the ground, though inches from the ledge.

The fight between the Warners and Townly was a bit of a struggle, but at least chairman couldn't be harmed. Yakko jumped out of the excavator to go check on him. "Don't worry kid, I'm alright," Mr. Chairman said. The excavator wasn't able to put Townly down and it began to show. "You wastes of life shouldn't have come here!" Townly shouted as he grabbed the bucket with the suit's metal hands and ripped it off the excavator. "Uhh, our main source to fight him is gone," said William.

Dot got an idea. "Well, it looks like we're falling behind on taking Townly down," she said, "Wakko, are you thinking what I am thinking?" "Uhh, not really?" Wakko replied. Dot then cracked her knuckles. Wakko gasped, "Dot! Are you sure you wanna use fists on this man?" "If it's to save our parents, then absolutely!" Dot said as she jumped out of the excavator and towards Townly. "You know what? Count me in!" said Wakko as he also jumped out. "Wait! We're you going?" asked Angelina.

Dot and Wakko climbed up the suit Townly was in. By the time Townly himself noticed this, it was already too late. Dot and Wakko attacked him. Townly took out his gun out, but it was knocked out of his hand and fell down the cliff. The suit then began to slowly tip over as it lost it's balance. William and Angelina jumped out of the excavator, while Dot and Wakko jumped out of the suit. Yakko and Mr. Chairman saw what was happening. Townly saw himself about to fall onto the excavator. "Oh shit," he murmured as he fell onto it with a loud crash.

The dust soon settled and everyone went over to where the excavator and suit were. The suit from where Townly sat was completly crushed in, while the excavator was practically flat on the right side with the left being still somewhat intact. Everyone pushed the suit over, to see Townly. However, he wasn't in there. "Where did he go?" asked Wakko. They then heard footsteps through the bushes running in the opposite direction. All of them went to follow it, believing it was Townly. However, the running was too much for them and they quickly lost sight and sound of it.

"Dang," sighed Mr. Chairman, "He's too fast." "We'll deal with him later," William said, "That is if there even is a later. But either way, we should head back to Acme, we'll be safer there."
