Chapter 14: Welcome home

The next day, Mr. Plotz came into the movie lot to see a big commotion going on inside. Many of the studio workers were surrounding something. "What's this about?" he wondered, "If the Warners did something bad enough to be sent back here, there's going to be some big problems!" "Good morning Mr. Plotz!" said Ralph, "You're not going to believe who's here!" "Who's here?" asked Mr. Plotz. "I don't remember their names, but we saw them years ago," Ralph replied. Mr. Plotz tried thinking of who they could have seen years ago, but he couldn't think of who since Ralph wasn't being too specific. So he decided he was going to check this out for himself.

As he approached the crowd, he heard Yakko talking. "Now take it easy on them, haven't been here in a while," he said. "Warners!" Mr. Plotz called, "If you did something that made you come back here, I am going to-" He then saw William and Angelina the second. This was his first time seeing them in 10 years and his facial expression clearly showed it. "K-King William?!" Mr. Plotz stuttered, "And Queen Angelina the 2nd?! W-W-What? H-How?" "Long time no see Thaddeus," said Angelina. "It's a long story that would take up a lot of time," added William, "I think when you are in a better state of mind, we'll talk to you about it." "I'm just...shocked is all!" Mr. Plotz explained, "I thought you guys were, well, you know, dead. I didn't believe you made it out alive. Even George was unsure when he dropped off the Warners. I'm not sure where he went afterwards, but I'm guessing he just moved on with his life and went elsewhere, I don't know." Luckily, nobody knew the true story of what happened to George, as it would have been far too tragic.

"Speaking of which," said William, "Someone who was human and in a way helped our children escape a fire was a man named Charlie. We don't know what happened to him or if he even escaped. The last time our children saw him was when he let them escape before him. I have a bad feeling he didn't make it out, but that's just me." "He and George are good examples of not all humans hating toons," said Angelina. "Indeed," Mr. Plotz replied, "So umm, now that you guys are finally here in Burbank, what are you planning to do from this point forward?" William and Angelina shrugged, as they weren't sure yet. "Well then, enjoy your say here," Mr. Plotz said as he walked away, then whispered, "I hope they don't have the same energy as their children."

"I think to start off the day, we'll go out in Burbank and show you guys what we do," said Yakko as the 5 of them walked out of the movie lot and down the street to wherever in Burbank they were headed. "What's the bag for?" asked Angelina. "Just our bag of goodies," said Dot, "You will quickly learn what we do." "While we're at it, can we stop by for that Philly cheesesteak I have been wanting to crave for days now?" asked Wakko. "Yes Wakko, we can stop before we do whatever it is you guys do," replied William.
