Dear Princess Celestia,
I know it's silly of me to be writing theses again but, I need something to do. It's been an uneventful year so far, mainly just some critters roaming around the castle or some parts crumbling in, otherwise not much I couldn't handle. In other news, Spike will be returning to sleep for another Forty Years hopefully I can master that hibernation spell soon... Honestly, I miss you... I know that sounds childish but I miss you, I miss Luna, I miss every-
The quill stopped as she noticed it had run out of ink and quickly dipped it into the ink jar... then realized it was empty, she turned to the piece of parchment and saw it was blank. She chuckled a bit before lowering her head, her small laugh became a crying mess as the tears rolled down her cheeks and dripping onto the old paper. "Look at me..." She muttered to herself. "I'm a goddess damn mess" The alicorn cursed as she got onto all fours and quickly turned around, leaving the bedroom and entering an already crumbling hallway seeps of light peeking through many of the holes and cracks that formed throughout the years of harsh the elements. Twilight Sparkle gazed at the hallway her eyes looking at every detail as she muttered something under her breath and continued down the hallway. It wasn't long before she reached the throne room like she had so many other times.
It's your throne room
The thought echoed through her mind as she shook her head and responded, "No, it's no ones. No one can rule something that doesn't exist." Twilight sighed staring at the two thrones. On the left, it was larger throne on fit for a god as the back had the emblem of the sun. The right, a smaller seat but still as glorious as the former with the emblem of the moon on it. She sighed a bit turning and walking into the next room, a spiral staircase welcomed her as she slowly trotted down deeper into the castle.

The catacombs below the Canterlot castle wasn't the ideal living place, but it was where she could work at least. Twilight's horn sparked as the lanterns flickered alive the flames dancing in the darkness as the light illuminated a small living space. A makeshift bed, an alchemic table, many books, and... a large sleeping dragon. Twilight frowned looking down and stomped a hoof, "I told him to call if he felt sleepy!" She angerly muttered as she trotted to an already open book.
The Basics of Reanimation
Twilight sat on the 'bed' and continued reading where she left off, the problem was this was the Two-Hundred and Fifth time she read it. The alicorn sat there few a few hours then turned the last page, "Two-Hundred and Fifty One." She said to herself as she sat in silence... again... The lavender mare turned to her sleeping friend. "I think my mental state is dwindling faster than I think" The dragon, Spike, snored a bit as Twilight put a sad smile on. Lowering her head she softly wept, as she used her magic to wrap a long old blanket around her. Then her horn glowed, and the darkness returned.
