Bella spent the night at Jacob's so they could go bright and early to Port Angeles. They were going to tell Charlie that they had just gone prom dress shopping for Bella, so they had to buy a dress to make the whole thing believable; they decided to use the same dress for their courtroom wedding as well.

"It can't be white." Bella said on their way there, Jacob was driving.

"It most certainly cannot." Jacob said wiggling his eyebrows.

Bella smiled. "Is black alright?"

"Well given you're about to be Mrs. Black I certainly hope so."

They got to the store and began to look around, Jacob found some shoes she absolutely loved and after a few minutes Bella got excited at what else she found and headed to the little dressing room in the back of the store. Jacob smiled and sat on the 'boyfriend' chair to wait patiently for his bride to get ready. Bella put on a simple little black dress with pockets, score. It looked great with black leggings and a new pair of sensible heeled booties. She put her wallet in her dress pocket, tucked in her lighter in her shoe, rearranged her hair and smiled. This was it, the outfit she'd get married in. She started to fold the clothes she had come in with, given she was going to pay with the outfit on to go straight over to the courtroom next, when suddenly she heard a crack coming from the back door. A cold hand as hard as granite dragged her out of the curtained room.

"JAKE!" She managed to scream at the top of her lungs before feeling the air rushing out of her lungs as she was pulled inexplicably fast and thrown into the back of a Volvo that immediately started speeding off with her inside.

"Hi!" A chipper voice greeted her from the passenger side.

"I'm Alice, you don't know it yet but we're going to be best friends." Alice said smiling.

"Noo." Bella paled.

Her kidnapper and driver was none other than Edward Cullen.

She tried pulling at the doors, to no avail.

"HELP! LET ME OUT!" She screamed pounding at the doors and windows.

"Oh my, you're right Edward she does smell good, I just wish the hint of dog wasn't there." Alice said in her dreamy voice.

She began kicking harder, they were going way too fast.

"They're completely tinted Bella, nobody can tell what's happening inside." Alice said way to happy.

"Just like her." Edward said in a soothing voice.

The cinnamon roll smell was back, overwhelming but strangely soothing and soon forgotten. "You can't have me. I'm with Jake, the tribe won't like this."

"Bella sweetie, we're rescuing you, this was not how it was supposed to go. You don't love the dog, it's just his stench that's making you feel that way." Alice said as if talking to a toddler.

"What on earth are you talking about?" Bella was genuinely confused, was 'dog' a racist term they used for the Quileutes?

"What's his name? Jacob? Has you drugged sweetie, they have these pheromones, nasty things, that make you want to...well make babies with him. That's all he really wants you for, to make him lots of puppies." Alice said condescendingly.

Edward audibly growled and squeezed the steering wheel to the point she could swore he bent it.

They were insane, Bella thought, racist, insane psychopaths.

"It's okay Edward, she isn't marked yet." Alice said soothingly.

"Y-y-you're wrong, we don't even want kids yet, I'm on the pill, he uses condoms, he isn't trying to impregnate me at all. We're in love." Bella said trying to reason with them.

"LIAR!!!" Edward all but screeched hurting her ears.

"Edward!" Alice said scolding him.

He twisted his head almost unnaturally as if trying to crack his neck out of stress and spoke low between gritted teeth. "The day we met she reeked of his seed inside her...Like he defecated in the finest wine."

Bella couldn't speak or move anymore she felt paralyzed by fear, she had never been more terrified in her life.

Edward was now watching her through the rear view mirror and spoke soothingly to her. "I've been trying to keep him from desecrating you. Guarding you while you sleep. But now even your own father doesn't care about your virtue. He let's him fornicate with you under his own roof! And the treaty stops me from crossing to his side when he hides you there." He said as if pained. "But it'll be a cold day in hell before I let that mongrel call you his wife..."

It was so strange...she knew she should be appalled about all these revelations but she began to feel like they were romantic...What the hell was happening?!

"Edward..." Alice said excitedly looking far away smiling.

"I see it...I knew we were right!" Edward smiled and looked back at her dotingly in the rear view mirror.

She couldn't sense the sickly sweet smell anymore...she was pliant and calm, her mind was telling her to be happy they were allowing her to be near them, they were just so beautiful...
