"ARE YOU INSANE!? YOU KIDNAPPED THE SHERIFF'S DAUGHTER!" Rosalie screemed at her 'sibling'.

"Rescued her..." Edward said between clenched teeth.

"Bullshit!" Rosalie spat.

"Edward honey, what were you thinking?" Esme asked concerned.

Rosalie aswered for him. "I'll tell you what he was thinking! At first I just thought it was the idea of finally getting laid that drove him, but it's much more simple than that isn't it? He was thinking he can't read this girl's brain, he is so used to knowing what everybody thinks of his bullshit that he's latching on to the intrigue of the unknown. The only girl you can't ever really know if she likes you or hates you. The only girl whose thoughts will never disappoint you. Well let me tell you exactly what she will be thinking. After enough time with us her only thoughts will be 'ooh...pretty...shiny'."

"She'll love me. Alice has seen it." Edward said clenching his jaw. Even as blunt as Rosalie was being her thoughts were much worst.

"I can't believe you're enabling him Alice!...No wait I do believe it! I believe it because you weren't here when we made the treaty with the wolves. If you were, you would know how you just sentenced us all to death!" Rosalie told her sister panicked.

"No, I didn't, ask Edward, no wolves are coming." Alice said said too confidently.

"What? Who is gonna rescue her?" Rosalie asked confused.

"We did! Nobody else is coming." Edward said righteously.

"Oh my God! I knew you two are too reliant on your powers. THAT MAKES NO SENSE! Edward don't you remember how protective the wolves were of their mates? How could you possibly think they won't come after her, even if Alice can't see it?" Rosalie said baffled at Edward's stupidity.

"Because she's not his mate, she's mine!" Edward said exasperated.

"Do you even remember killing humans Edward? The sway is real, I used it, you probably used it too! Even if you don't want to admit it." Rosalie said condescendingly.

"No, it's not!" Edward said almost like a kid throwing a tantrum.

"You kidnapped a woman, on her wedding day to the man she loves; someone she can grow old together with, and have babies with. Just so you can be able to sway her until she agrees to be your mate and then kill her by turning her into one of us? YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THE MEN WHO LEFT ME FOR DEAD!!!" Rosalie wailed at Edward making Emmet go hold her by the shoulders reassuringly and cautiously at the same time.

"He is the one twisting her mind, not me, I just need her to detox from his stench...for her to think clearly." Edward said with clenched teeth once more.

"We both know that is a racist lie settlers made up to explain why their women ran off with the Quileutes." Rosalie said voice full of venom.

"It's true!" Edward said resentful.

"Even if it was, it was only between destined mates and you know it. If that is the basis of your case, you're just confirming she was his mate to begin with." Rosalie said almost pulling her hair in frustration.

"He can't claim her, he has never phased!" Edward said confidently.

Rosalie reached her limit. "I can't do this! I can't, I won't let you take us down with you. We have to get out of here, now! Emmet baby, get the basics we have to go now. Esme, join us, I know Carlisle has to stay to mediate this mess but I don't want you caught in the crossfire. Jasper, you're welcome to join us too, though I understand if you feel you have to stay."

"Rosalie you can't leave, we're a family." Alice said hurt.

Rosalie turned to face her 'sister' with panic in her eyes. "NO! We are a coven! We play a family for the humans, but I won't let you two drag the rest of us down because of your selfishness."

"Esme, Jasper, please go with them." Carlisle said opening his mouth for the first time since Edward and Alice told all of them they had 'rescued' Bella.

Alice caressed Jasper face and said: "It's okay Jasper, there's nothing to worry about, I've seen that this is gonna work, we'll contact you once she's turned, I can tell you struggle to be around her." Jasper had a pained face but nodded feeling his mates confidence in the matter.

"I have to go see Billy Black to mitigate this. Promise me you will not turn her, and you are not to be near her either. Put her in a room by herself. If I'm telling Black we suspect she was only marrying his son under chemical duress, we can't be doing the same to her as well." Carlisle said sternly to his kin as Rosalie, Emmet, Esme and Jasper flitted about gathering their things to leave.
