Danny was worried. Nicole saw his ghost sense! He wasn't sure what to do. But there was a ghost attacking. He had to explain things later.

"Danny?" Nicole asked.

"I'm sorry, Nicole. I'll explain everything later. I promise." He said, closing the handheld.

"I'm going ghost!" Danny said, transforming into his ghost form.

Nicole found herself back in cyberspace, surprised at Danny's action. She notices that he looked worried about what he wanted to tell him, and promise to tell her later. However, she sighs and opens the windows to the school. She soon saw a very strange person that looked very much like a machine with a flaming mohawk. She then saw another person fly up, wearing black and white with snow-white hair. Strangely, the new person looked like Danny.

Nicole watched the two talk a bit before they started to fight. She looked at the new person before recalling what she read yesterday. Nicole brought up the images of the person and noticed they were all the same.

"Danny Phantom, Ghost Hero? The number one ghost of Amity Park has mostly been seen during the ghost attacks and is believed to be the case of them. However, a few people mention that he save them from the attacks, not wanting for others to get hurt. While Danny Phantom's true goals remain unknown, many people don't seem to trust the ghost boy."

Nicole blinks. This ghost boy was being blamed for the attacks? Even after he save those that were caught up in it? Sure, she heard, and read, of a few people doing that. But as she watched the fight that was going on, she could see that he was trying to minimize the damage as much as he could. The other ghost didn't seem to care.

Nicole soon found a few other things about the ghost boy and raised an eyebrow at a few of them. One of them was during the time he robbed the bank. However, she did notice one thing that everyone overlooked. In the image of the ghost boy stealing from the bank, he had red eyes. But in every other image, he had green eyes. She knew about eye color change thanks to Sonic going Super over the years, but there was something about this eye color change that didn't sit right with her.

Nicole looked at the other image and noticed that was the time the mayor was kidnapped by Danny Phantom. However, Nicole notices the hands and shook her head. No one bothers to look at the hands. The mayor was holding onto his hands, not the other way around. She started to see that this town didn't see him as a hero but as some kind of troublemaker playing hero. And they weren't not even giving him the chance to explain himself.

She turns back to the window and saw the same boy beat the other ghost before trapping him in some kind of thermos. Nicole sighs. They were in for a long talk.

Later,

Danny sighs as the school close early for repairs. He pulled out Nicole's handheld, ready to talk to her.

"Nicole? You there?" He asked.

"Yes. I've been a bit busy." She said, appearing.

"So I guess I have some explains to do." He said, not sure to start.

"I already looked into it. You're a ghost, aren't you?" Nicole asked.

"Half-Ghost, been that way for almost a year now." Danny corrected.

"I see. I also looked into the crimes that were done under your name. Robbing the bank...I don't understand how people miss the fact that you had red eyes during that time when you had green eyes every other time you showed up." Nicole said.

"A Ringleader with a ghost control staff. Feeling under its control and ruining my name for a while." Danny sighs.

"And the mayor? How can they miss that he was holding on to you?" Nicole asked.

"A ghost that is really into the rules that wanted me to go back to his prison," Danny asked.

"Why?" Nicole asked.

"For bringing a human item in the ghost zone. The sad thing is, he's the only one that knows them and expects everyone to follow them." Danny sighs.

"Hmm, that doesn't seem too out of there. I mean, I've been on many adventures myself." Nicole said, thinking.

"So, how did you become a ghost?" She asked.

"Well, it's a bit of a long story. Sam and Tucker can fill in some blanks when we meet up with them." Danny said.

Nicole nodded. She knew she needed the full story before doing anything. Still, Danny did seem to feel bad about those crimes. It looks like it's not just Casper High she needs to call out on.

Nasty Burger,

Danny sat the handheld on the table, having it face him and his friends. He already informed Sam and Tucker that Nicole knew and she deserves the full story. Sighing, the three explain to Nicole how Danny got his ghost powers and how he was using them to protect the town, even if they treated him like a villain.

"Hmm, if I was told this a year ago, I would find that impossible. Such a thing couldn't have existed. However, I've seen many things in my world that change that. Still, convincing your friend to enter an inactive portal? I don't care if you were excited to see one, you NEVER convince anyone to enter a portal without knowing what it could do!" She said, glaring at Sam.

Sam flinched, surprised to see an A.I. yell at her. However, she didn't want to take that laying down.

"It's not like I wanted him to get hurt." She said.

"Doesn't matter. You were very lucky that he survive from what I was told." Nicole said, sighing.

"So, what do you plan on doing?" Tucker asked.

"I won't tell anyone if that's what you're wondering. However, being a Freedom Fighter, I can't let this injustice go. The people here are too quick to judge someone because of what they are. It's not right." Nicole said, looking away.

"Nicole? Are you okay?" Danny asked, a bit worried.

"Yes. I'm fine." She said, shaking her head.

"And how are you going to do that?" Tucker asked.

"By doing something that everyone fails to do. Finding proof." Nicole said.

Danny blinks. She mentions doing that to Casper High, and now she wants to do the same to all of Amity Park?

"Nicole..." He started before the handheld was stanched away.

"Hey!" Danny shouted, turning to Dash.

"What freaky game are you playing, Fenton?" Dash said, trying to push the buttons.

Nicole frowns, having long gotten used to others trying to mess with her. She gave Dash a small shock, making him drop the handheld.

"OW!" He shouted as Danny caught it.

"This isn't a toy, Dash. This was a gift from a friend of mine." Danny said, checking to see if Nicole was okay.

"A friend?" Dash asked, confused.

"I can have friends besides Sam and Tucker, you know," Danny told him.

"Then what's with that weird character?" Dash asked.

"It's my friend. She is using an avatar because she's not too sure about being seen by other people." Danny said, knowing Dash wouldn't believe him.

"Say what?" Dash asked, confused.

"What he means is, I don't want people to see the real me until they know me first," Nicole said, following along with Danny's plan.

"Who said that?!" Dash asked, freaking out.

"Nicole did," Danny said, showing him.

Nicole crosses her arms, very upset at Dash.

"And Danny's right. My handheld is not a toy. You're lucky that I had some failsafe install or otherwise I would have seen Danny a new one." She said.

"Is that a cat?" Dash asked.

"Lynx, Dash. There are different kinds of cats. You would have known if you paid attention in history." Danny told him.

"Yeah? So?" Dash said, scoffing.

"I see what you mean, Danny," Nicole said, shaking her head.

"All brawn and no brains. It's no wonder he gets F's on his report card all the time." She said, having looked up both Dash and the A-Listers beforehand.

"What did you say?!" Dash shouted, angrily.

"I take it he's deaf too?" Nicole asked.

"In some form," Danny said, shrugging.

Dash started to see red and went to grab the handheld again. However, Danny was quicker and pulled it away.

"You can't take it out on someone that's not even here, Dash," Danny said, glaring.

"Maybe not, but I can take it out on you!" Dash said, ready to do something to Danny.

"Unless you want me to call your town police on you, I would strongly suggest you move on," Nicole told him.

"Excuse me?" Dash asked.

"All the money in the world can't keep you safe from the law. All it takes is one phone call and everything you stand for will come crashing down. Don't believe me? Try it." Nicole said, daring him.

Dash flinched back. He wanted to say she was bluffing, but there was something about this new girl that made him think otherwise.

"Fine," He said, storming off.

Danny sighs, surprised that work. He sat back down with Sam and Tucker staring at him.

"Dude?!" Tucker said, shocked.

"Did you really threaten to call the police on Dash?" Sam asked.

"Bullying is not something I like. A lot of people bully one of my old friends because of what he was. All it took was someone to stand up for him and show him that he could be what he wanted to be and show that being different is a good thing." Nicole said, thinking of Sonic and Tails.

"You know what? I think you'll fit in just fine, Nicole." Danny said, smiling.

Nicole smiles back. Despite knowing each other for a day, Nicole was happy to meet her new friends.

"So, my little playmate is here too"

A strange black mass with a very strange mask watched from the cyber world, seeing that Nicole was speaking to three people. A large toothy grin appeared from under the mask.

"How FUN..."

Okay, I'm sorry for taking over a YEAR to update this story. New ideas kept popping up and I never found the time to go back to this. But I decide that I held off long enough. So, Nicole looked up Danny's ghost form and even heard his side of the story. She already placed together that Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom were the same person. Dash did his usual thing, only to be called out by an A.I. of all things! Too bad that Dash did know that! However, it seems that one of the main villains had also appeared and is planning their move.

Again, I'm sorry for taking over a year to update this. I'll try not to do that again. I hope you're all glad to see this update again.
