Yep, Still don't own Twilight. If you are not old enough to read Mature Situations, please just bypass this chapter because that is pretty much the chapter. It's going to be pretty hot and heavy from here on out, because well, who wouldn't? If anything, Jennifer is not a dumb woman *wink*
Pain was the first thing that she felt when she woke, followed quickly by disappointment and on to embarrassment. Sure she knew in her heart that he most likely left to feed, the thoughts that she had if he hadn't left to feed made her shake her head before slowly moving to the edge of her bed. However, she was also an emotional girl at heart, and wanted him to be there when she woke up. Lord only knows what she would say or do now, but still. She cringed again as she stepped on the cold floor, moving slowly to the bathroom, her inner muscles screaming at her.
"Holy hell this sucks," she thought as she trudged forward slowly, "Coffee, I need coffee." Jennifer looked at the door before looking back at the bathroom. The stairs hurt her just thinking about them, now she remembered why she shunned away sex. All at once, memories flooded from the night before, she looked into her vanity mirror. The woman staring back at her had rough hair; her fair skin was littered with bruises. She looked more like she was in a rowdy bar fight, rather than what happened last night.
She followed her normal routine of laying out her clothes, albeit slowly, and using the toilet while the shower warmed up the bathroom. "Good Lord, even using the bathroom hurt!" she thought before groaning and slowly moving to get into the shower. It was good that she always woke up an hour before she was to be in her office, even when Emaline was gone. It was under the warm spray of the shower that she could think, or dwell, but mostly think.
What on earth would happen now? Would things be awkward? She knew that her work wouldn't falter in any way because that wasn't her at all, but she would be naïve to think that things would not change between them. Leaning down slowly to pick up her shampoo, the twinges in her body still aching but the water helping, she wondered if she would see him today, laughing to herself, of course she would see him today. She proceeded to wash her face with her lovely Clinique face wash before standing under the water and rinsing off her hair and face. It wasn't until after she rinsed the conditioner out of her hair and started readying her luffa, with her Caress body wash that she noticed for the first time that she wasn't alone in the bathroom.
"SHIT!" she cried out, dropping the luffa before pulling the lilac fabric shower curtain around her, almost falling in the process. Aro was currently standing inches away from the tub, naked as the day he was born, a cocky grin of his face, his bright crimson eyes showing that she was right in assuming that he was away feeding. Not to be deterred by her greeting, he gracefully stepped over the rim of the tub and began to work the fabric curtain from her death grip. He closed his eyes slowly when he felt those covered curves once more, before opening them once more, surveying what he could see of her body. It pleased him to see his marks on her body just as much as it did to see her cheeks still blush at his presence. Stepping closer to stand under the water, he slid a hand up her wet skin before coming to rest behind her neck. Looking down at her for a moment before kissing her slowly, slipping his tongue in her mouth to taste her once more, the curtain quickly becoming forgotten.
"Now, now it is a tad bit late for modesty, Mia Cara." Aro teased, when he finally pulled the curtain from her hands, "Don't you think?"
Jennifer gasped when he began to kiss her once more, his hands wandering down her wet shoulders before coming to rest of her breasts. She could feel him hard against her belly, her hands coming to rest on his cock. She stroked him for the first time, pleased when she brought a low moan from this powerful man. He moved from her lips to her neck, taking his time, bringing out a low moan from her. It wasn't until she moved her hands to cup him that he released a deep growl. Before she could process what was happening, he slid those incredible hands under her butt, lifting her. Her legs opened for him, and a single look was exchanged before he let her body sink on him.
There was no gradual building up this time; Aro was taking what he wanted from her body and she was just along for the ride. He was lifting and sliding her down his length with purpose. All she could do was clutch his shoulders and cry out. His grunts echoing in her bathroom and the sound of their wet skin slapping together, caused her stomach to flutter, the beginnings of her orgasm rapidly approaching. It wasn't until she opened her eyes and saw the picture that they made in her vanity, the curtain open just enough so that she could watch them. His head bowed towards her neck while his strong back could be seen, with a pair of legs held open around his waist.
The tension was too much for her, watching him while feeling him work her body. She slowly closed her eyes and cried out loudly when he slammed into her with force, his voice bringing her out of her haze. "Open them!" he growled out at her while bottoming out in her body. Realizing that he could see what she was seeing, she opened her eyes on command, watching them once again.
Aro threw his head back and moaned out her name when he could once again see what she was seeing, his movements faltering and becoming hurried. He could feel his body tighten in order to prepare for his release, knowing she wouldn't be far behind him. That lovely voice cried out in pleasure just as her channel locked around him, bringing his end quickly. With a grunt, he came into her awaiting body, his thrusts mellowing out before coming slowly to a stop. In a movement that bordered on gentle for him, he lifted her off of him and deeply kissed her.
"A pleasant start for a morning, now be a dear and turn" Aro said while twirling his finger in a circle at her. She turned slowly in a daze, her back bare to him. The pleasant scent of the soap that he loved played with his much stronger senses; however nothing could be more tempting that smelling him on her body. He was quite thorough in his washing, laughing out loud when she swatted his tempting hands from her swollen clit.
"Oh for Pete's sake, haven't you had enough?!" Jennifer screeched when she continued to feel those fingers, pressing against the small bundle of nerves. She sighed in happiness when she heard him chuckle before standing straight once more. The water was turned off and a fluffy lilac towel was draped around her shoulders.
Aro watched with masculine pride as she climbed out of the tub on shaky legs before wrapping his own towel around his slim hips. She stood before her vanity, beginning to apply her daily lotions. The sweet smelling lotions left her naturally soft skin, even softer, if possible. Reaching up to get the lotions out of the cabinet caused the short lilac towel that was taunting him ride up, uncovering part of that lovely butt of hers. Slinking up behind her, he ran his fingertips once more up the back of her legs, sliding between her lips and not at all surprised at finding her wet for him once more. He lifted that tempting towel and moved behind her slowly, watching her eyes widen in the vanity. Those cheeks reddened once more when he prodded her entrance with his length and lowered his chest to her towel covered back.
"We aren't going to be able to have 5 years' worth of sex," Jennifer remarked, before a sharp thrust lurched her forward, burying his length in her immediately, "in one day!" she finished in a slightly aired voice. The lotion forgotten on the counter, she braced herself with her arms as best as she could. When she looked in the mirror, she found that he wasn't even watching her face. He was watching them, as he pulled out extremely slow only to surge forward.
"A tempting notion," He replied, closing his eyes to the new feelings of this position, "I'm sure your employer will understand your need to bond with a new lover."
Aro knew he was once again bruising her delicate skin with the grip that he held on her butt cheeks, he also was aware that he wasn't going to last long, a feeling of wonder that shocked and surprised him. The position feeling much too well, taking her deeper than he believed possible, he slid his fingertip to that bundle of swollen of nerves. A few firm thrusts into her body along with his attentions to her clit had her thankfully peaking just before he released again in her body. He held her left shoulder in a firm grip while keeping their bodies locked until his body relaxed once more.
Using that towel, he cleaned them once more and walked into her bedroom to where he removed his clothes earlier. By the time that she entered the bedroom, she was already in her slip and undergarments. He sat on the Chaise, his back straight and his left leg crossing his right knee. It was a solid black pencil skirt that hugged her curves, topped with a deep azure button up shirt, which she wore today. She walked to her closet and slipped on a pair of matching azure pumps while he watched her. She decided to wear her hair up today, he mused, but the marks on her delicate neck could not be hidden.
"I find it will be most difficult to stay away from you here on," He drawled, finally catching her attention, "knowing what you hide underneath your clothes."
Jennifer knew she was blushing before she took a breath and collected herself, "I'm pretty sure my employer will be unimpressed when the needs of my position aren't being met."
Aro was suddenly in front of her with a playful grin on his face, catching her arms when she threw them up in front of her, "Maybe the terms of your employment need to be reviewed. You take far too little breaks; this must not be good for your health."
Knowing she would be fighting a losing battle, she grinned back at him, "Perhaps if my employer could fix a decent cup of coffee, I would be inclined to meeting with him about this."
At that she, flounced passed his form and slowly descended the stairs, the grinning form of the aristocratic vampire king trailing behind her. She glanced at the clock on her wall before starting the coffee pot and pulling out her breakfast. Fresh fruit was "fun" in Volterra, fun meaning quite expensive or hard to find. However, she always seemed to find all the fresh fruit that she could ever want, literally delivered to her door. Felix normally brought it to her but she had a feeling, given the present, that he had some help.
She sat at the table with her planner, mango and her bagel. A cup of coffee was heaven to her tired body. "I will be leaving for Beijing this Thursday and returning Sunday evening; the branch financial meetings will need to be finalized. Felix will be …"
"I will be attending with you." His bored voice cut her train of thoughts quickly, causing her to look up at him. He was sitting at her kitchen table, in a suit of solid black that probably cost more than the house she lived in. His ebony hair was flowing free today. Aro watched her with a bored look on his face, as she gave him a doubtful look.
"You are going with me?" She questioned, with a slight tilt in her voice, her eyes looking at him behind the delicate frames of her reading glasses, "But you never go with us. None of you ever go with us."
"Situations have changed, Jennifer dear." Aro sighed, cutting her with a seriously unimpressed look. Truly, how foolish was this delightful woman?
"Like never ever," Jennifer replied, before lowering her pen and watching him carefully. She knew that she was being childish but she didn't understand what was in his head. "You should just let Felix come with me like usual, it's much safer." The moment she said those words, she realized just how silly she sounded, talking to this vampire in front of her.
"While I find your desire for my safety most endearing, I will have you know that I am perfectly capable of my safety and yours at a Financial Business Meeting. There are more terrifying things in this world than a few disgruntled vampire accountants, besides Chelsea will be with us."
"Not Jane and Alec?" Jennifer questioned, while watching him closely.
"My dearest ones have been currently called away," Aro replied, with a guarded look on his normally passive face.
That being said, he glanced once more at her before picking up the stack of financial reports under her planner. Jennifer wrote a few notes in her planner, reminding herself to update the travel plans with the Beijing office and the airlines. As she watched him for a few more minutes, she wrote down another note to buy Italian Rosetta Stone, it was so on.
(Page Break)
"Have you completely lost your senses?!" An irate voice shouted out from behind the thick wooden doors of the ancient throne room. The younger blonde haired vampire king was currently pacing in front of the long wooden table loaded with books. Cauis glared at Aro, who was currently paying his sole attention to the tome in front of him. "You will have the decency to look at me while I address you!" Caius growled out causing Aro to cut an unimpressed look towards his younger brother.
From his chair, Marcus watched the two bicker like they normally did all while letting his mind plan. For the first time in centuries, he was planning. The beginning of this morning began with Aro striding to Heidi, demanding that she lure some unfortunate souls to his arms. He killed them with no mercy, pausing only briefly when he approached a young woman roughly the same size and stature of their human mate. A look of extreme discomfort crossed his face, causing Marcus to signal to one of the lower guards to finish the girl. It was becoming more difficult for Heidi to locate victims as of late, she would refuse to bring those that would remind her of Jennifer and Emaline. Such things were not mentioned but the three kings knew what was in her mind, even without Aro reading her thoughts.
Marcus was most surprised when he mentioned in passing that Jennifer wished to learn Italian. He almost didn't catch it, with the speed that Aro quickly left the throne room, heading back to the arms of their young mate, thus starting the beginning of the foul mood that Cauis was currently in. Perhaps she would allow him the opportunity to be her teacher, he would approach the subject today; the fight that was currently brewing would last for quite some time. She would most likely be in her office, preparing for the trip on Wednesday.
"When will Emaline be arriving?" Marcus spoke up suddenly, causing the fight to pause for a moment.
"She arrives in Florence on the Sunday night. She should be arriving right after the flight returns from Beijing." Cauis supplied, still holding Aro in a death glare, which wasn't affecting the older vampire at all.
Marcus just hummed quietly, enjoying the peace for a moment before Cauis commented about the satisfied grin on Aro's face. While Marcus knew the why, that Aro suddenly felt the need to escort our lovely accountant to the Beijing financial meeting. It was even maddening to him for him to place himself in unnecessary danger. While he watched Caius flit around and complain like a child not getting a turn with his favorite toy, Aro sat in front of him relaxed and content. Oh there was no doubt that he would get his way; he would always get his way in the end.
"I trust that the evening went as planned, brother dear." His deep voice cut off the rant that Caius was building.
"Of course it went as planned! You have a nose that is just as good as mine!" Caius fumed, while continuing to pace the length in front of the table.
"Now Caius dear, let's not be angry. Whose fault is it that she believes that you loathe her very existence?" Aro chided the younger king, smiling when he saw that look of anger once more show on his face.
Taking this is a good time as any to leave before Caius exploded; Marcus stood slowly and left the two of them bickering. His strides were long as he approached his destination. There were not many things that left his realm of comfort; however, he could firmly admit that for the first time in an age: He was nervous.
He stood in front of the office and silently said a little prayer to Didyme for strength; however the sight that he received upon entering the office ensured that he wouldn't need it at all. The object of his nerves was currently lightly thumping her head on the notebooks on her desk, unaware that he was standing in the doorway to her office.
"Something distresses you this evening?" He questioned in a deep voice full of emotion, while he stood in front of her desk.
Jennifer froze her thumbing before laying her head on her planner and turning to look over at him, "Try it for 90 days it says," she lay her lips on her planner and muffled angrily.
Marcus walked by her side to look at what she was fussing about on her computer. The bright yellow website for Rosetta Stone Italian spoke volumes to his gentle soul. She truly was attempting to learn their language, such an endeavor for one such as her, per her daughter.
"You wish to learn this, Jennifer?" Marcus questioned, after he came to sit in the chair in front of her desk. Jennifer sighed and looked over at him.
"I wanted to surprise Emaline when she came home, and I wanted to know what is said to me now that .." Jennifer trailed, trying to find the words to explain herself to the normally quiet vampire in front of her.
"You are my brother's lover," Marcus supplied, cocking his head to the side while watching her fumble around and blush a deep scarlet. An endearing quality that both mother and daughter possess, he mused as he watched her. "Do not fumble so; I am not here to judge. I am however, here to possibly add a new student to my class."
"Ugh, I was afraid you were would say that," Jennifer groaned loudly, her head still firmly attached to the notebooks, "Numbers are my friend, Master Marcus, words not so much."
"Now, I have heard you handle my brothers quite well on a number of occasions," Marcus replied with humor in his normally dark voice, "I am quite certain you will not fail. I will not let you fail."
Jennifer finally looked up at the stoic vampire king; the smile on his face looked almost uncomfortable. She was certain that this man never smiled, taking a deep breath and releasing it, she nodded her head in acceptance. The next few hours were spent speaking on the upcoming meeting in Beijing and also coming up with a plan of action for learning Italian. Marcus watched intently as she wrote everything that he was saying on colored notecards in her elegant script.
"You can't expect to write EVERYTHING that I say, piccolo." Marcus commented, halting the woman in front of him. He watched her as she looked up at him with the same cold eyes that his brother received on a daily basis. "Piccolo indeed," he thought to himself, while waiting on the edge of his seat for what she would say to him.
"Emaline learns her way, Master Marcus, I will be learning my way." Jennifer supplied out, before returning to her notecards.
Marcus continued to watch his new student as she worked something he would have to begin doing more of, as he mused to himself. The shirt that she wore today could hide the marks she bore from his brother, but he knew that they were there. He could see tiny bruises on her wrists, fingertips, he concluded. He was quite sure that if he was to investigate her lean legs, he would find more littered there. He closed his eyes to halt the train of thought in his mind, coming back to the subject at hand.
The way that she learned was much different that her young child, while Emaline opened herself freely to error in order to learn. Her mother was quite stubborn and head strong. She only opened herself to something new when she knew beyond a doubt that she was right, most likely ingrained into her body from previous actions from her parents.
The day ended with a schedule in her planner and a new notebook needed for her new notecards. Jennifer was determined; she was not going to lose to some ancient language. It wasn't until late in the evening; after Master Marcus left her office that she first realized that Demetri and Felix had not visited her.
As she walked to her home, she wondered where there could be. Where did Alec and Jane go? They normally stuck close to Aro daily. The plans for traveling weren't on the books; the expense would have been made it to her by now. It was odd, an unsettling feeling in the pit of her stomach.
It was dark in her home when she opened the door, dark and quiet. She climbed the stairs and shed her work clothes for comfy clothes. The unmade bed caught her attention as she hung up her work clothes, causing a sigh. When she descended the stairs and entered the kitchen, she grabbed a salad bowl and a glass of Moscato. It was a picturesque evening in Volterra, a perfect night to lounge on the swing on her porch. Felix gave it to her early on in their friendship, she even though that the hulking vampire made it for her. She took the phone with her, and dialed. Not hearing an answer, she sighed before dialing the number that she wished she didn't have to dial.
(Click) "Good Evening Jennifer."
"Why hello dad, how are things?"
"As eloquent as ever, Jennifer, things are well. I am quite aware that you are not calling to speak to me, would you care to speak to Emaline?"
"Yes, I would very much appreciate that."
A brief pause and the telltale noises of paper could be heard in the background. "Of course they were in the library," Jennifer thought as she waited on the phone.
"Why hello mother dear."
"Why, hello offspring."
"Now hold on there, I take offense to that!"
"Hey, if you if you are going to be catty with me, I feel inclined to return the feelings! I told you that you would pick up bad habits staying away from me too long. I bet you haven't even gone shopping once!"
"Bahh."
"All this work on you wasted!"
"Well, you are playful this evening. Anything fun happen?"
"Master Marcus is teaching me Italian."
"Silence"
"Oh come on don't be like that, I can do this!"
"I think I just had a heart attack, really I must have died, I see a light!"
(Male Voice) "That likely has something to do with the multitude of Bacharach Candlesticks your grandmother insists on lighting nightly."
"Did my father just make a joke?"
"Why yes, he does that often."
Silence
"Are we really playing this again?"
"I think I just died, is this what a heart attack feels like? Oh look I see a light?!"
(Male Voice) "That would likely be some ghastly monstrosity that you're mother traded the Bacharach Candlesticks in for."
"Now that is not fair! I'm telling …"
(Male Voice) "Your mother? Why of course, I shall call for her right away"
"And that is my que!"
"Hey! That's no fair! They could be starving me over here!"
Silence
"Ugh, fine. I love you, traitor."
"Kisses! Take grandpa's money! I need a new purse!"
Jennifer grinned when she heard the dial tone; it wasn't long until birthday time! She would be home soon! Only a trip and the third quarter close, then she would be picking up her lovely from the airport! She finished her wine and placed the empty glass on her front porch deck, the swing swaying to and fro. She lay down and curled into herself before closing her eyes, with a smile on her face, unaware of the eyes that were watching her sleeping form.
Silent, measured steps brought a lean form up the stairs to the porch of the house, coming to stand in front of the swaying swing. The woman was much too trusting, falling asleep in such a place. A pair of strong arms lifted her tiny form from the swing, careful to not awaken her. Those same measured steps took her into the small house, and into the comfortable living room. The same arms placed her onto the couch, covering her form with the worn quilt. A slight touch on a soft cheek was the last action before the form stood up and quickly left the house, as quietly as they arrived.
A short distance away, another silent watcher could be seen leaning against the stone walls of the castle, watching the house and its visitor leave.
"Curioso." The figure spoke before a grin slowly appeared on their face.
