Suzumi put her hands behind her on the carpeted living room floor and leaned back from the kotatsu, sighing heavily as her gaze floated away from the pages of her statement to the cocoon in the corner of the room that was Shota. Once again she considered waking him up, but at the same time she was unsure of how late he had gotten home last night. She tapped her phone to check the time and saw that it was just past one in the afternoon and pressed her lips together into a fine line.

She sighed again in lonely defeat, choosing to leave him be for the sake of his well being. She gathered the paper in her hands and tapped the pages together, setting them down in a neat stack before getting to her feet and heading for the bathroom.

'That fool is terrible at taking care of himself. He'll work himself to death if you let him.'

Hizashi's warning ran through her mind as she began taking off her clothes, throwing them by the washing machine before heading for the shower. She stopped short at the mirror on the wall, leaning in to see her reflection a bit closer. It was vague, but she was there. She could make out the outline of her features and the curve of her body, but as she leaned closer to herself, nearly pressing her forehead to the surface, she could see the worried look on her face.

'How do I even tell if he's working himself to death…? And how can I do anything to help him? There's nothing much I can do while he's not home…'

She ran her fingers through her long lavender hair, undoing the knots and gathering it all in her hands before pulling it over her right shoulder. She stood there for a moment longer and stared into her ghostly eyes before heading over to the shower to turn the knobs.

'The only thing I can do is let him rest and make sure he eats… Maybe I should lessen the burden of myself on his shoulders too.' She made a face that matched the uncomfortableness she felt inside. 'But if I do that then I'll just be creating a gap between us… But at the same time… I'm scared to bring up the things that have been making me feel so scared and terrible… Isn't that gap already there?'

She sighed hopelessly, putting that thought on a shelf for now as she lathered the shampoo in her hair and felt the warm droplets of the shower on her back. Her body felt heavy and hollow, a familiar empty feeling from her past she thought she would be free of but it just didn't let her go. She was thankful that it wasn't an everyday feeling now, but when it hit, it hit just as hard as it did her whole life. Empty, hollow, painful, heavy. Almost agonizing. It nagged at her, but she did her best to ignore it.

She stood under the shower, feeling the warm water run over her head and down her shoulders, down the curve of her arms and between her fingers, down her legs before pooling at her feet and disappearing down the drain. She willed the bad feelings to melt off along with the droplets and soap.

Her peace was interrupted as the door swung open and Shota stepped inside, sleepily scratching his belly underneath his shirt as he walked over to the washing machine. Suzumi had vanished instantly and backed herself against the wall, her heart nearly beating out of her chest.

"Don't just walk in!" She blurted out in a high pitched panic.

Shota was reaching for his pink lounge pants that were hanging over the machine to dry. He froze and slowly turned his head to stare at her blankly. It was as if he was sleepwalking. She could almost see the gears turning in his head. Gears that were heavily rusted and moved so slowly as they groaned back to function.

"Didn't you hear the shower running?" Suzumi continued unloading her frustration. She took a step away from the wall to return to the warmth of the water. She covered her body the best she could with her hands and arms despite the fact that she was invisible.

"I…." Shota blinked a couple times before rubbing his tired eyes. Once he seemed to remember where he was he turned his back to her to pull the pants off of the drying rack and put them on. "Sorry I thought I might have left it on…. Besides…" He turned back to face her, a confused look growing on his face that he layered over the sleepiness he was slowly coming out of. "You're invisible… I can't see you."

Suzumi's frown deepened and she gritted her teeth. He had a point, but she was still irritated. She hugged herself close, gripping her arms with now aching fingers. Something about the way he said that made her feel uncomfortable.

"And we've… I've seen your body before. There's–"

"I guess!" Suzumi interrupted him, suddenly feeling flustered. "I just think I deserve some privacy!"

Shota nodded slowly, his mind still obviously moving one centimeter every three seconds. He turned away and left the room with a fleeting and emotionless "you're right."

When the door shut she put her hands over her cheeks and tried to shake away the feelings that bubbled up and overflowed from inside her. She tried to ignore the incorrect thoughts she was feeling as well.

'That wasn't an overreaction… I wasn't angry with him or yelling at him… I was just setting a boundary… He won't hate me for this…. Right?' She returned to her shower routine with a frustrated huff. The way he left felt like she was shooing away a kicked puppy. 'This won't cause him to act differently, will it?'

Once she finished her shower she began the long journey of drying her hair. She was getting tired of dealing with so much hair, something she never really put much thought into until recently. She felt annoyed by how long and unkempt it was and it constantly seemed to get in her way when doing chores around the house. Once it was dry and brushed she braided it and wrapped that braid around the top of her head like a crown, pinning it into place. She then put on her outfit for the day, dressing up in a pair of loose tan dress pants and a green short sleeved blouse with puffy sleeves. It had a dainty floral pattern with white petals.

Usually she wouldn't dress up so much, but she was determined to leave the house today.

As she opened the bathroom door and stepped into the living room, she became visible with a vibrant strut of confidence as she passed through the doorway like a portal. She was expecting Shota to turn his head and to see one of his fleeting glances of admiration, but upon entering the room she was only greeted with the sight of him laying face down on the futon. He had flopped down there without even bothering to get back under the covers.

She shook her head, a loving smile creeping across her face as she walked over to his side, crouching down to put a hand on his back. "Are you going to make it?" Suzumi sighed, her smile persevering as he moved to turn his head to face her. "Are they working you too hard…?"

Shota raised his head and furrowed his brow, squinting as he took in how nicely she was dressed. A conflicting look of unease and worry flashed across his face as he sat up. He rubbed at his eyes before lifting his hands over his head in fists for a yawn.

"Sorry… I was out later than usual last night. There was a–" He suddenly stopped now awake enough to realize who he was talking to.

He almost let it slip… almost caused her to worry. The reason why he was out so late was because at the end of his patrol, as he was heading home, he received a notification from the police that Peplum had broken out of police custody in the neighboring prefecture of Chiba. He had rushed to the surrounding area along with other pros nearby to try to track him down and catch him, but their efforts were futile. No one was able to find him. He slipped right through their fingers late into the early morning hours. If Suzumi hadn't been waiting for him at home, Shota would have still been out there searching. It was only because of her that he came home to sleep.

Shota knew that if Suzumi found this out that she'd be terrified. He knew she was still secretly worried about the stray Gokudo members showing up at their door. He still caught her checking the locks during the day and at night. She still stayed indoors and away from the windows. She still hadn't let her guard down and he was unsure if she was still acting off of her survival instincts or doing it on purpose.

"There was a….?" Suzumi coaxed him to finish his sentence with a patient smile.

"Uuuh…" He scratched the back of his head. "There was a girl out late past curfew… I had to make sure she got home safely." Shota became uncomfortable with the gleam of admiration his somewhat-of-a-lie had brought to Suzumi's eyes so he pushed to change the subject. "What are you dressed so nice for?"

"I…. finished my statement…" She trailed off as they both looked to the stack of papers on the kotatsu. "I was thinking of taking them to the station myself to hand them in.. To turn them in and bring that part of my life to a close, you know? It just feels right to deliver them in person and be done with it."

Shota nodded, a small smile forming on his tired face. "I'll come with you."

"Are you sure?" She brought her hand up under the hair covering his face to feel his forehead. "You don't have to if you're so tired."

He took her hand off of him and held it gently within his own. "I can go. You'd be too scared to do it all alone. I wouldn't be able to rest anyway if I knew you were out there by yourself."

A bright and excited smile shone on her face, filling him with motivation to begin the day.

"Just let me get my life together first…"

Shota exited the house first, careful to inconspicuously scope out the surrounding area before he turned back to Suzumi who was locking the front door.

"Ready to go?" He asked, extending his hand.

Suzumi nodded and put a smile on her face, hugging the large orange envelope to her chest. Despite her brave smile he could still see the worry on her face somewhere behind those big blue eyes and in the corners of her mouth.

Before they left the house she had announced her challenge for herself: She wanted to try to stay visible in some way for as long as possible during the trip.

"You sure you can control your quirk for that long? It's a bit of a walk to the police station and we need to take the train too…" He wasn't necessarily trying to seed doubts into her mind, but he knew how big of a task this would actually be. He didn't think she was ready and he worried she would want to give up if she failed today.

Suzumi took his hand, her full visage visible as she walked proudly, leading the way down the empty street. "I don't know but I'm going to try! Are you sure you're not going to burn up in that outfit?"

The weather had been cool in the upper 60s, but the sun was warm with so few clouds in the sky. Shota had dressed himself in all black which was no surprise, but he chose to wear a loose long sleeve shirt to hide his utility belt around his waist and the capture weapon he had stashed in his sleeve that was wrapped around his arm.

"I'll be fine." He tried to assure her.

He definitely wanted to accompany Suzumi to the station to keep her safe and to keep her company, but the main reason was to get outside in hopes that he'd run into Peplum or Echo. To avoid questioning from Suzumi, and to avoid being recognized, he decided to hide his hero gear underneath his clothing. He tightened his grip around her hand, a sudden wave of guilt crashing over his shoulders as he realized that this was the first time he had taken her out of the house since she moved in.

Yeah they would go into the backyard, but that wasn't the same. She had never really left the house since they had arrived that day. She never really brought up the subject either, but considering her history… she didn't get that kind of choice. Now that he thought about it… he never noticed her speak up about what she wanted to do… not until today. He was suddenly realizing how much he was neglecting her.

He had to make this up to her. They were a couple after all!

'God I'm such a shit boyfriend!' Shota cursed himself, staring down at the sidewalk in shame until Suzumi started swinging his arm back and forth blissfully in her grip. He sighed silently as he looked down past the strands of lavender hair that fell out of her braid and framed her forehead seeing the pure, happy expression that beamed from her face as she looked around the neighborhood. 'I don't deserve you… Is that look because you don't even realize how absent I've been or have you been ignoring it? Or do you know and are being patient with me?'

"Hey…."

Her blue eyes fell on him as they stopped at a street corner, waiting for the light to turn to allow them to continue to the nearby train station. Suzumi eyed the growing crowd with a tinge of nervousness causing her visage to fade slightly, shimmering like a mirage in the desert heat. Still, she gritted her teeth and tried to persevere through it. She bit her bottom lip as he requested her attention.

"What else do you want to do today? I mean after we finish at the station?" He watched as she pondered the question and took her hand once again as they were allowed to cross the street.

"I'm not sure…" Suzumi hummed. "I've… Not had this kind of freedom to decide before… What would you do?"

Shota tried to hide his disappointment in her answer. "I want you to decide. We haven't gone anywhere together yet… and…" I want it to be special…

"We went to the park that one time… To see the cherry blossoms, remember?" She reminisced, wishing that she could redo that day and actually enjoy it this time instead of wasting it on her parent's memory. Despite that and having to leave later that evening, it was one of the best days she had in a long time.

"Yamada was there! That doesn't count! Plus I was busy keeping an eye out for…" He drifted off, trying to ignore the fact that he would also be playing the part of bodyguard on this date as well.

A thoughtful smile returned to her face. "Alright. In that case we should go to a cafe or something. I haven't eaten out for a long time. I wanna try ordering for myself!"

Shota smiled proudly at her. He admired the optimism she had adopted for the day and hoped that it wouldn't all fall apart and leave her defeated in the end. He truly wanted to see her succeed and to shine. He knew how hard she had been working all of her life to get to this point. It would absolutely crush him to see her fail.

And for that reason, he justified keeping certain secrets from her, as dirty as that made him feel. He'd shoulder anything for the sake of her. To keep her happy and smiling. He never wanted to see her back in that terrible state again… terrified and shaking with fear behind a gun with tears in her eyes and blood on her clothes and skin. Never again.

Never again.

Suzumi thought that the train would be the most difficult part of her remaining visible, but the quietness was peaceful enough to give her relief from all of the stress she felt on the streets. Still, she avoided eye contact and kept her gaze either on Shota or on the scenery that flew by at rapid speeds outside of the window she sat next to. She smiled softly, happy to have been able to take a seat on a train for once and not having to worry about being sat on or bumped into by people who didn't know she was existing in that space. When they entered, someone was even kind enough to offer their seat to her. She felt like a princess.

Shota watched in silent humor as every few minutes Suzumi would dip her head to look down or bring her hands up to her face to make sure she was still visible. Something he took for granted and never gave a second thought to until this year. She'd occasionally shoot a look in his direction as well to make sure he wasn't cheating and using his quirk on her to keep her visible. He thought about opening his mouth to tease her about this but decided against it. He didn't want to embarrass her or make her angry.

Shota took her hand once again when the doors of the train opened and pulled her through the crowd, scanning the area for familiar faces. Suzumi didn't bring it to his attention, but she did notice that he was always looking everywhere else but at her most of the trip. She knew it was because he wanted to keep her safe and she assumed that it was just something he always did while he was out and about. Just part of being a hero. You had to be aware of your surroundings at all times and ready to spring into action.

The only other thing Suzumi did notice is that without his hero costume on, no one was staring at them. It gave her an extra layer of relief on her journey to remain visible.

'What is it?' She thought to herself as she silently walked by his side. 'What is the secret to controlling this quirk? At first I thought if I could get rid of all my stress and worries then the veil would be lifted… but it's not that. Then I thought willing myself to be visible would do it… and that worked a couple times but there seems to be more to it than just one thing. I don't think it's one mindset or one movement or one word…' She softly squeezed Shota's hand and she smiled as he squeezed it back. Her heart fluttered. 'I'm sure it's a combination of all that plus the changes I have worked so hard to make happen. I can vanish so easily with the memories of my past and my feelings of fear… so shouldn't the opposite work for visibility? Maybe that's why I couldn't do it before…. Because the bad memories overwhelmed what little good ones I had at the time.'

"Suzumi?" Shota looked back at her and tilted his head to the side, motioning to the receptionist behind the desk.

She had been so lost in thought and focused on staying visible that she didn't realize they had already walked into the police station. The receptionist had asked her a question that went unheard. Suzumi hugged the folder to her chest and suddenly felt tiny, suddenly coming back to reality to find herself surrounded by policemen in uniform who were walking down the muted navy hallways and through nearby doors with hurried purpose. She was suddenly reminded of exactly why she was here and of her father, mother, and of Kaede who were locked away possibly somewhere nearby. She felt terrified that somewhere in these halls they would bump into one another and she'd be recognized and immediately cursed by her family.

"We're here to see Detective Tsukauchi." Shota turned to the receptionist and decided to answer for her, seeing the frozen worry on her face as she began to fade.

"Alright!" The receptionist gleefully replied. "He'll be out shortly!"

Shota turned back around to find that Suzumi was gone. He looked around the room, but before he could go into a panic he felt her hand on his arm. She had turned back into her old invisible self.

"You scared?" He lowered his voice and guided them to the seats closest to the door in the waiting room. He waited to see the cushion of the seat divot before taking a seat next to her.

"Yeah… A little.." Her voice was tiny as if her confidence and excitement were sucked straight out of her as soon as they stepped into the station.

Shota couldn't help but huff. A little wouldn't mean that she'd completely vanish. He knew that she felt so unsafe here to remain visible, even with him next to her…. But he couldn't blame her. She was here to walk away from all the terrible things that had happened to her in the past. To help close these cases so that she could be done with it and move on. This place brought back her harsh reality and the terrible memories she was trying desperately to get away from.

She wanted to be done with it all. This was the moment she had waited for so long.

Before he could say anything the door opened and the familiar face of the detective greeted him with a forced and surprised smile. He waved him over and Shota stood, reaching his hand out secretly behind his back for Suzumi to take just in case she needed it. She took it right away, tangling her fingers in between his. They were cold and clammy and it made him swallow hard, feeling her nervousness as she held onto him with a growing tightness as they walked towards the detective in the doorway.

"Aizawa!" He greeted, seeing that the hero wasn't in his usual uniform seemed to throw him off. He looked just as tired as the hero did. "What can I do for you?"

"Ah, well…" Shota cast a glance behind him, but Suzumi still didn't materialize. He only received another squeeze to his hand. "I have Suzumi here… She finished her written statement and wanted to come deliver it in person."

"Oh really?" Tsukauchi looked surprised, a more natural smile coming across his tired face as his eyes looked around for her. "Good timing! Do you two have time to come in and chat? I've got coffee!"

Suzumi was about to open her mouth to turn him down, but Shota spoke first.

"Coffee sounds great!" He was lucky to be unable to see the daggers Suzumi was glaring into the back of his head.

The two followed the detective through the doorway and into the small hallway that branched off into an array of offices. The walls were a flat grey color and the floor was covered in a low navy carpet. The smell of coffee drifted through the air. Near the end was Tsukauchi's office which was marked with a nameplate. As they entered it seemed to be a bit larger than all the others they had passed by. Behind his desk that faced the door the man stopped and motioned for the two to take a seat before sitting himself down in a worn leather office chair. As she sat in the small cushioned chair, Suzumi drew parallels to the way Shota's office was full of filing cabinets and loose stacks of papers scattered about, but compared to his, this one was a much more chaotic organized mess.

Tsukauchi turned around in his chair and reached down into a cabinet before coming up with two cups and pouring the coffee into both. He then spun back around and handed a cup to Shota who went right to sipping it and watched as the other vanished from his grip.

"Got it?" He asked before letting go of the cup.

"Yeah…" Suzumi quietly answered, setting her envelope on the desk to free her hands. With how nervous she felt she was surprised she didn't turn the man invisible as well.

The detective's attention was drawn to the orange envelope as it materialized on his desk. He picked it up, staring at it with a somber excitement he was unable to hide from his gaze. "This is it? Your statement?"

"Yeah…"

Tsukauchi's expression brightened. "Thank you! Did you want to know the trial date?"

"Oh, no!" Suzumi shook her head and moved a page away from the edge of his desk to set down her coffee cup. "I…. Would rather just be done with it after this. I appreciate everything you've done to help me."

"You're very welcome!" His smile faded again as he leaned back in his office chair and took a drink from his cup, his eyes drifting to Shota who sat beside her by the door he had closed behind them. "However… I do just have one last question to ask you about your family's case before I can let you be done with it."

Suzumi looked at Shota confused, but it went unseen. "What is it?"

"Have you ever met your paternal grandparents?"

She shook her head slowly. "No… We never saw any of our extended family. It was just always me, Kaede, and my parents. Sometimes father would bring people over from work but other than that I'm not aware of having any other family. What is this about?"

"Are you familiar with the Chi-Oni murders that occurred during the late 80s?"

Shota gripped his coffee cup and bit his tongue, worried about what Tsukauchi was about to propose. He wanted to yell at the man and pull Suzumi out of the office, but he knew him well enough to know that whatever he had to say was important. He wouldn't be bringing this up if it wasn't important or detrimental to a case.

"I… Heard that name on the news… but I'm not familiar, no." She shook her head softly, idly reaching over to put her hand on Shota's arm.

"We believe those murders are inspiring the current ones as they are very similar in how they have been carried out. Chi-Oni was caught just after the new year, so we are dealing with someone new and possibly related."

"What does this have to do–" Shota finally spoke up, but stopped as Tsukauchi raised his hand.

"Do you mind…?" The detective motioned towards Suzumi's seat.

She released her grasp on Shota's arm as he turned and used his quirk on her, making herself visible to the room. She folded her hands in her lap and shrunk nervously. She could no longer hide and for some reason it made her fear the friendly gaze of the detective as well.

"Thank you." Tsukauchi smiled in hopes to lighten the mood but Suzumi's nervousness didn't fade. "Chi-Oni's true name is Haru Ikeda." He paused, his gaze unmoving from her face. "Not familiar to you either?"

"No…" Suzumi stared back at him with a confused and lost gaze. She almost felt like she was being interrogated.

"Did your father ever share anything about his history? Anything about his life before you were born?"

She thought for a moment but came up again with no answers. "No… My father has always been a secretive man. I don't ever remember him talking about his childhood or his past… but at the same time I didn't ever talk to him much. Only about the company and work." 'About all the things I was doing wrong…'

Tsukauchi nodded, seeming to finally be satisfied with her answers. "Your father is indeed a secretive man. It wasn't until recently we were able to crack his hardened exterior and start getting him to talk. You see… Ikeda is your family's true surname. Your father, like you, changed his surname to start a new life."

"What…?" Suzumi breathed, trying to make sense of it all. Her mind wandered back to the connection to Chi-Oni. Her grandfather? The murders? What was the detective suggesting?

"It seems that when your grandfather was arrested and his real name was made public it naturally made your father's life difficult. Being the son of a serial killer didn't sit well with anyone that he knew. It made it difficult to find or keep a job or even a place to live for that matter.. So he decided to create a new identity under the surname Sakamoto -illegally I might add- and then he found he could use the Yakuza to jump start his career."

Suzumi's head was spinning. "Why are you telling me this….?"

"Your father told me this information only on the condition that I'd pass it along to his children. I guess he felt that you deserved some sort of explanation now that he was caught. I of course reminded him that Suzumi Sakamoto no longer existed, but I felt it was important to see if you were aware of your family ties to the Chi-Oni killer."

Shota tore his eyes off of Suzumi to look at the detective in outrage. He set his coffee cup down on the desk and shifted to the edge of his seat. "You think she's tied to the X murders?"

"I wanted to rule that possibility out. Kaede is no longer a suspect as the murders have continued far after his arrest, Ikeda is still in Tartarus, and there are no other relatives we could identify that inherited this quirk. Suzumi did use her father's demon quirk while under the influence of Trigger after all… and the murders only began after Suzumi was rescued from the compound."

Suzumi gripped her pants in her fists on her lap. She could feel her panic in her chest, her heart beating against her ribs like a drum. She felt crushed, her voice coming out in a defeated whisper. "You think I'm the killer….?"

Tsukauchi raised his hands defensively, seeing the tension in the room. "Forgive me…. But after seeing how you couldn't remember what happened after using the demon quirk during the raid I can't really rely on your memory or take your word for it. I need evidence."

Suzumi felt absolutely gutted but she knew that he was right. Although she remembered more now than before, they were only snippets and brief flashes in her memory. She couldn't make out what actually happened between the nightmares she had been having as well. She had been terrified about losing control like that again… she was aware of the possibility… but…

"She has nothing to do with it." Shota raised his voice firmly but respectfully, pulling out his phone to produce some sort of evidence to go along with his word. "She hasn't left the house since she moved in until today. Here." He held his phone out to the detective who leaned forward to take a look. "I have a tracker on her phone." He flashed a brief look of worry out of the corner of his eye back at Suzumi even though he couldn't see her. "You can even look at our messages."

Tsukauchi nodded, taking the phone to look through their messages before looking back up at Suzumi's seat. "Will you consent for us to search your phone as well?"

"Yes!" Suzumi spoke up without hesitation, manifesting on the center of the desk.

"Alright." He placed Shota's phone down next to hers. "We'll be looking into this further, but for now you are free to go. I'll make sure these are returned to you as soon as they can be."

Shota stood with a nod and opened the door. Suzumi was still stuck to her chair and if it wasn't for Shota's quirk she would have continued to sit there in a swirling pit of emotions and questions for hours. She took her boyfriend's extended hand and let him pull her to her feet. She felt so heavy… so lost in the information she was trying to process… so gutted… Scared.

Tsukauchi remained his usual cheerful self, waving them off. "Just be sure not to take any sudden trips, you two!"

"Yeah, yeah. You know where to find us."

note.

Although no one leaves reviews I will say that I am so excited to see the amount of views I've been getting for this fic! It always brings me so much excitement and so far each month it has grown from the last. Not that I haven't said this before, but I'm so thankful for you reading this! I've been having a lot of fun writing it and also use it to vent out my own troubles and things I've been secretly dealing with. Having almost 900 views makes me feel just a bit less lonely out here and a bit more understood :)

It seems I've gotten out of my Lana phase and shifted into Ethel Cain again. I've found myself especially fixated on Crying During Sex and Hard Times and a few others like Inbred. For a long time I suppressed the memory of being molested and groomed but we started processing all my trauma just before I started writing this fic. Only recently I've started coming to terms and really processing my sexual assault and it's been really tough. I just hope that none of you have experienced this. It makes you feel dirty and small and feeble like a small child without control. You cry during sex despite making love to someone who is so safe and loving. You can't help but feel your abuser's hands and see their face even though you know better. Your partner assures you "It's me. I'm not him" but that doesn't really do anything to help. You know this. You're screaming it silently to yourself and trying to destroy the memory and anchor yourself in the moment, but the memory is just so hard to shake.

It just sucks. If you're like me and shared that kind of experience just know that that person didn't take anything away from you. They didn't steal anything away from you. You are still you and you are still alive. You may be mourning that event or that version of yourself from before and you should mourn! If you don't and keep running from it then it's never going to get better. That shadow in the corner is just going to wait for you and keep getting bigger and bigger until it swallows you. You didn't deserve what happened or to be treated that way. You didn't ask for it and they didn't steal you away that day. You may feel like a hollowed out shell right now, but if you realize that this is YOUR vessel and that you have every right to take it back over then I think it gets better. Sure you'll have some bad days, but even if you have to start from scratch and figure out who you are and want to be then you can do it. I believe in you because I'm on this journey myself. You can do it. It does get better and if you break down then that's not a failure. Once you allow yourself some time to be sad and angry about it then you'll be able to continue on with your life and the sun will come out once again.

The song for this chapter is a collab between Sweet William and Ichiko Aoba called あまねき(Amaneki). I think it translates to Ubiquity? There is an english translation in the comments for the lyrics. It's a really sweet and pretty song.

Until next time~
