Schunard-Collins Residence, Angel's POV

"M," Maureen groaned, burying her head in a white fluffy pillow.

I smirked to myself as I handed her a cup of coffee.

"Hangover", Maureen moaned.

"I feel your pain", I replied as Maureen simply moaned in response, "Coffee. And Tylenol. Here. It does wonders, I'm telling you".

Maureen slowly sat up and took a sip of the coffee.

A few seconds later, Mimi, whose head was covered by a pillow, stuck her hand out and motioned for a cup of coffee. I immediately handed it to her and she set it on the floor, poking one eye out at it before burying her head in the pillow again.

"How are you functioning?" Ashlynn gaped in disbelief, "You drank like there was no tomorrow".

"Tylenol, Advil, and lots of coffee, sugar," I grinned in response.

"I am so glad I didn't drink as much as you guys", Leah smirked.

"Here, here", Ashlynn agreed.

"Where's Joanne?" Leah inquired. As if on cue, Joanne emerged from the bathroom fully dressed and showered.

"Good morning", she smiled.

"M", Mimi moaned.

"Fuck you for being awake and functioning," Maureen glared, sitting up and taking a gulp of coffee.

"M", Mimi concurred, finally following suit and inhaling her coffee and Tylenol.

"Mom, wedding. Yours. In like, three hours. You'd better start getting ready", Ashlynn reminded. She was already stunning in her pink shimmery Maid of Honnor dress. Leah was attached to her arm, also dressed and ready to go.

"And with all due respect, considering your lack of a hangover, you smell like you took a bath in whiskey. I recommend a shower," Leah suggested.

"Fiine", I agreed, heading toward the bathroom.

"Aunt Mimi, Aunt Maureen, umm", Ashlynn started, pulling Eric and Isabella out of their crib, both of them were dressed as well.

"After she's done", Maureen replied.

"M", Mimi replied waving toward Maureen in agreement. I chuckled and shut the bathroom doo behind me, stepping into the steamy shower.

The church, Tom' POV

I tried, vainly, to straighten my bowtie. Roger chuckled and stepped over to me and helped me. Mark and Miguel were busying themselves in getting ready. All my groomsmen were wearing was dress pants, white shirts and plain black ties. Angel insisted I be in a tux. I rolled my eyes at the couple and pulled my jacket. I sighed and pulled my beanie off, a surprise for Angel, and frowned. My head felt so bare!

Mark smiled an walked over to me, cup of water and comb in hand. I shivered as he combed my short hair.

"Fucker, go bother someone else!" Mark laughed.

"I already combed Miguel's hair. He really couldn't go anywhere to object." The young latino grimiced and ran a hand through his short black hair. I laughed at the disgusted look on his face.

"Angel will be here in twenty minutes, and you really wnt to look like you just rolled out of bed?" Roger muttered.

"Don't lecture me! I don't see you jumping to marry Mimi, so until then, don't bag on me about how I look!" I was glancing out the window. And exactly as I had feared, a protest had begun to form. Three marriage ceramonies were being held here today, because none of the other churches would perform them. I groned and slumped down into a chair.

"What's the matter man?" Miguel asked me, concern etched in his features. I pointed toward the protestors and his face even more. I stood up and pulled the blinds.

"I'm not going to let them bug me. Fuck them. I'm not going to let them ruin Angel's day." I muttered and slapped Mark and Miguel on the back. The limo was due to arrive in twenty minutes, with Angel and the rest of the girls. I sat down in a chair and wished I had a joint. Almost magically, one appeared in front of my face and I looked up to see Roger opening a window and Mark handing me the joint.

"Thank's guys." They both nodded and Roger fished a lighter out of his pocket.

"Dont smoke too much," he added as he chucked it to me. I caught it in one hand and lit up. "We don't need you bursting into giggles when Angel reads her vows, she might kill us." I nodded and took a long drag, handing it back to Roger. I waited a few moments, holding it in. Then I let it go in a rush.

"No prob Rog. Thank's again." On hit was all I needed to get me through this day. I was marrying an Angel how much better did it get really?

Back room at the Church, Angel's POV

"Well, Ang, you ready?" Mimi asked with a grin as we sat waiting for them to call me out to begin.

Ashlynn and Leah were sitting next to one another, hands entwined, Joanne was mulling over her hair, and Maureen was spread out across the chaise lounge wearing oversized black sunglasses with her head buried into the pillow

"I am. I'm finally marrying the man of my dreams. It doesn't get much better", I gloated, "Well, you know…"

"I do", she grinned in response, jumping a little bit in excitement as we entered the room they were waiting in until the wedding began.

"So, ma, you're not gonna back out are you?" Ashlynn inquired with a giggle.

I laughed in response and shook my head no. I had never been more sure of anything in my life. I love Collins more than life itself… I had been waiting for this since the day I met him.

"Ang, can you pass me an Advil?" Maureen requested, lifting her head a slight bit.

"Sure", I replied handing her the bottle.

"You're gonna get high off of painkillers, honeybear", Joanne pointed out.

"Fuck off. You'd be taking these if you were me too", Maureen replied.

"Leave it to you to be hung over on my mom and dad's wedding day, Aunt Mo," Ashlynn laughed.

"Only you", Leah agreed.

"Thank you, thank you very much", Maureen replied.

"Hey, Elvis, is your makeup done?" Mimi asked.

"Haha. Very funny. Yes. It is. Wake me up when they call Angel out," Maureen requested, snuggling her head into the pillow.

"Well, she's a character," Leah giggled.

''That she is", Ashlynn agreed.

"Hey, bride's maids, we're ready for you," someone announced through the door. "You too flower girl-bearer."

"Fuck," Maureen replied, rising to her feet and taking off her sunglasses.

"Don't fall", Joanne insisted. She headed out to find a seat.

"You ready, chica?" Mimi checked yet again before she picked up Isabella and handed her to a cursing Maureen. Eric stood behind his mommy's leg wearing a stunning white baby tux, and Ashlynn and Leah looked twin images of prfection, both had curled their hair and still hadn't let go of each other's hands.

"I am", I replied, grinning from ear to ear. They all exited the room, leaving me alone.

This was the best day of my life. Hands down.
