*A/N – Long time no see, sorry for the delay. Granted, I feel like I always say that lol. I now have a solid plan for how this story will end since I could continue it but I'm more in favor of ending it and starting another story revolving around the commander and the girls of Azur Lane. But enough about me blabbing about. Hope you enjoy this chapter and story and take care out there. Until next time.

Having gotten himself a breather and cleaned up from his busy day of doing things that he's wanted to do for quite some time now, the commander was beginning to head back to the port town on the island. He figured that most of the girls must have been wondering where he was. That was something that he would have to deal with but for now he… should…

Staring right up into the sky out in the distance, the commander saw what could only be described as several airplanes flying around each other and covering a large perimeter, or perhaps they were racing against each other.

"Huh… guess the girls must be- "

*Bang* *Bang* Bang* *Boom* *Bang* *Bang* *Bang*

"What the… "

The commander was now stunned at what he was seeing. The airplanes that he thought were doing a relay race were actually engaging in combat with each other. And from the looks of things, the fighter planes were going at it for real.

Not sure what was exactly going on, he sprinted toward the town to see if there was anyone there that could explain to him what had happened while he was gone. Perhaps checking out the shipyard would be the right place to find some of the girls to help catch him up to speed.

With Enterprise

After having picked up the pace to head to where Akagi was said to be dealing with Roon, Enterprise knew that the situation had gone to one of the worst-case scenarios. Granted, other girls could also pose a threat to the island's safety, but for now, the Iron Blood girl was of utmost importance to calm down. With her bow in hand, she kept her eyes open as she continued to run down the path that Kaga and the others had come from while making sure that she observed the area.

Coming up on what appeared to be an open area, the white-haired girl saw that the area shouldn't have been cleared. There should have been trees here and… drawing her eyes further into the area, Enterprise now saw that there were large mounds of dirt and soot all over the place which indicated that explosions and gunfire took place. Getting ready to summon an arrow for her bow, she suddenly heard what could be described as a loud scream along with a bright light coming from the north. Not wasting a second, she began running to where she saw the light and was ready to spring into action.

Upon sprinting several meters, she saw that the area in front of her was badly destroyed and painted a grim picture of what she would be dealing with.

Standing several meters ahead of her was Akagi who did not look all that good. It was evident that she had many bruises and parts of her clothes were ripped or torn. She also had what appeared to be a few cuts on her face and the fact that she looked to be standing more so on one leg rather than both. Meaning that she was hurt.

Enterprise continued to run over to her but had to cover her eyes as a sudden blast of energy blinded her and caused her to raise her bow to block the debris hitting her.

"Dammit! I have to calm Roon down."

Once the blast subsided, she tried to see Akagi and saw that the area that she was just in was now destroyed with a deep hole due to the explosion. Swerving her head side to side, the white-haired girl spotted the brown-haired kitsune girl sprawled out several feet back on the ground and not moving at all. Rushing to her side, Enterprise slid down to check and see if she was still breathing and to her relief, Akagi seemed to be exhausted and only hurting with no major injuries visible.

Carrying the kitsune woman back several feet until she managed to spot a hole deep enough where she could be safely stationed rather than out in the open vulnerable to explosions and debris hitting her. As Enterprise made sure that Akagi was situated, she jumped out of the hole and tried to spot where Roon might be.

Her question was answered as the sounds of mechanical parts were getting louder and louder to the point that the Grey Ghost turned around and began moving forward until she soon spotted the short-haired girl with a cold smile plastered on her face. She needed to snap her out of the dark mood.

"Roon!"

Nothing happened as the Iron Blood cruiser continued to walk toward her or more specifically where Akagi was last located.

"Roon! Listen to me!"

Enterprise did not want to engage in combat with the girl as she was someone who if you were alone with her, seemed to be nice and caring and even a good cook to those she considered friends. But on the battlefield… she was someone you did not want to make your enemy.

"Roon! It's me! Enterprise. Please stop. I know about Shikikan!"

Hearing the commander's name, Roon suddenly stopped walking like a robot and seemed to come back to her senses.

"Enterprise? What did you just say?"

"I said, I know about Shikikan. He's missing."

"Yes… Yes, he is."

The Iron Blood girl kept walking for a few more steps until she was now closer to the white-haired kansen and simply smiled at her. An unnerving smile that made Enterprise's hair come to a standstill while also realizing that something was up.

"And… Kaga told me a bit about what she already knew. *giggle* She also said that there were a few others that immediately knew about him being missing and yet… they didn't tell anyone else. Now, who could those few others be~?"

Alarms bells and red flags were going off in Enterprise's head as she had a feeling that things were going to look grim here soon.

"Well, any guesses?" Roon asked in a sweet voice while her eyes did not depict anything sweet within them.

Realizing that this could go either two different ways. One way is that Enterprise came out and told Roon everything that transpired along with their reasoning for keeping it between themselves. Or… the second way was that she remains silent and is prepared to deal with the repercussions that were known as Roon. Either option could ultimately lead to a fight.

Taking a second to compose her thoughts, Enterprise went with the 'Nothing ventured. Nothing gained.' Approach and decided to go with option one and talk her way out of this situation. Perhaps honesty might save her from the girl's wrath?

"Roon…"

Said girl's attention was now gained.

"… I know who the few others were." Grasping her hand, Enterprise hoped that she wouldn't be hit by an explosion upon uttering what she was about to say. "It was me. I was one of the few that knew about Shikikan."

Roon didn't say or do anything at all and simply held a small smile on her face while looking at the ground. It was at this point that the cap-wearing girl had to explain the situation and the circumstances at hand.

"But there's more to it than that. There's a reason why we didn't say anything to anyone else."

"…"

Silence from the girl was the response Enterprise was getting. However, she still decided to voice how the situation played out.

"We were scared… I was scared. Akagi, Kaga, Taihou, and I went to see the captain in his office but when we got there… there was no sign he had been there at all. Nothing looked out of place, and we were coming up with ideas on where he might be. Along with calling everyone so that we could find out where the last place they had seen Shikikan was, and it turned out it was last night before everyone went to bed. At dinner was when he was last seen by most girls we questioned. It was then that I proposed that one or more of the girls were lying to us and keeping the commander's location a secret. And that… he had actually been kidnapped."

The quiet girl now looked over at Enterprise but still didn't say anything. She just looked at her with that still expression of hers. Not showing anger, frustration, or even sadness. Just… still.

"I then proposed that we all separate and start looking around the most populated areas in case that's where Shikikan might be. We managed to cover a lot of ground, but nothing was helping us. It was then that I also thought that the one who would be most likely to lie to us and kidnap him would be someone who was close to him. Closer in the sense that… "

"She would have to be one of his wives…" Roon said, finishing what Enterprise was getting at.

"Right. So far, we don't have any real leads. We thought that Littorio was someone that would be an obvious choice to kidnap Shikikan. Another girl that came to mind was Prinz Eugen. But so far none of those ideas have gotten us anywhere closer to finding the commander" Enterprise explained.

Neither of the two girls said anything as they kept staring at each other until Enterprise was the first to break away and look off to the side. Scanning how the area offered very little cover in the case of a firefight, the white-haired girl knew that if things escalated, then she would be in for a difficult battle.

Before she could think about anything else, Roon started taking a few more steps forward until she finally spoke up.

"You know… Enterprise, there was something that you could have done differently that would have helped you find Shikikan faster."

"Huh? What do you mean? We searched around the island as fast as- "

"I'm not talking about that." Raising her hand forward, all of Roon's rigging was summoned, and started to cover her arms with her weapons. "There's one person that you should have confided in."

The Grey Ghost knew who Roon was referring to immediately and realized that a fight was about to break out. Hence, she summoned her bow and her riggings which also appeared with several small planes getting ready to take off on their launch pads. This would be a difficult fight since she didn't want to outright hurt the Iron Blood girl, but she also knew that she couldn't hold back as her foe wouldn't. Not even in the slightest.

"…Who should I have confided in, then?" Enterprise asked, carefully eyeing the girl.

Shifting herself to now be centered and with her riggings ready to attack, Roon merely looked Enterprise in the eyes and voiced her answer before firing a blast straight at her.

"…Me."

*KA-BOOM*

*CHIK-CHIK*

*CLING*

*BOOM*

*WHOOSH*

*KA-BOOM*

The duel between the Iron Blood and Eagle Union kansens had now begun with Enterprise dashing to the side and firing off several shots from her bow. Arrows with great speed had tried to hit Roon's rigging to jam them up but were blocked by the girl's armor. At the same time, she also began charging at the cap-wearing girl with explosions trying to knock her down. The fight was turning out to be a cat-and-mouse situation with Enterprise being the mouse and Roon playing the role of the cat.

Explosions and gunfire could be seen consuming the entire area with debris covering the area along with neither of the girls really said anything as they were both engaged in combat.

One girl was trying to calm the other down. And the other girl was out for blood. There looked to be no stopping these two from fighting.

Meanwhile, with the other girls

Having come back to the town and away from the location where Roon and now Enterprise were engaged in combat. The girls had found themselves situated behind a building that offered enough cover for them to start coming up with a plan. This was soon followed by several of the girls, Wales and Atago opening the back door and calling for everyone to reconvene inside where they could discuss their next move.

Zuikaku and Takao who had been helping lift Kaga up soon followed through the door and found a flat spot where they could place her.

"Here, Senpai."

"Ugh… thanks. Have you heard anything yet?" Kaga muttered, still feeling weak.

"Nothing yet. We have, however…"

Takao started saying but the sound of explosions in the distance could be heard as everyone figured that would be Enterprise dealing with Roon.

"… heard that."

Several of the other girls were growing concerned at how the sound of explosions seemingly increased. Along with the fact that gunfire could be heard which got some of them to frown.

"Should we go out there and help?" Essex asked, turning to look over at Bunker Hill.

"I'm not sure. There are likely others on the island engaged in combat with each other."

We'll have to spare some time to calm the other girls down. Some are bound to be very scared and confused now" Atago replied.

"Not to mention, we still have Roon not listening to reason" Mainz stated, while trying to call as many girls as possible.

"Which is why I also think we should go out there and try to calm down the girls fighting" Wales commented, glancing at everyone in the room.

"Is that wise?" Hood asked, glancing at the other girls to gauge their reactions.

Nobody said anything due to the conflicting situation on their hands at the moment. If this were any other situation, then the clear answer would be to go out there and cease all the fighting going on. There was no real reason for it at all. However, these were not normal circumstances. With the commander still missing and nowhere to be found, the girls were not entirely sure what they should do in this situation.

It wasn't until Shoukaku decided to voice her idea on the matter.

"What if… what if we split into two teams?"

"Isn't that this whole thing started? Akagi, Kaga, and Enterprise splitting off to find Shikikan's whereabouts?" Takao questioned the white crane.

"Yes. But this time will be different."

"How so?" Prince of Wales asked, showing interest in the idea.

Pulling out her phone and starting to type away at something, Shoukaku then glanced around the room before going back to typing away. Once she was done, she nodded to herself before explaining her plan.

"We start by finding as many of Shikikan's wives around the island and bring them here immediately."

Essex tilted her head up and around the building that they had taken refuge in and couldn't help but let out a small comment. One that… was seemingly heard by everyone.

"I don't think we'll all fit in here…"

"*sigh* That's not the point!" Intrepid shouted at the purple-haired girl.

"Are we going to have a way to stay in contact with each other? I'd hate if one group goes silent all of the sudden" New Orleans commented which got other girls to nod their heads in agreement.

Flashing her phone in the air, Shoukaku had a plan for that.

"Which is why I suggest having multiple people here with their phones ready and dialed to one of the members in the groups that are going out to look for the wives" she explained to the group.

The plan was… well, it was a plan. However, there were a few things that had to be addressed about it and Mainz was going to be the one that did so.

"This plan is…"

"Bad. I know" Shoukaku quickly said.

"…Not entirely. It's just that only one of our problems is solved. We still have the whereabouts of Shikikan and Roon" Mainz stated loud and clear.

"Roon should at least be kept busy for a bit longer thanks to Enterprise. But I wouldn't say for too long" Hood added to the conversation.

"But that still leaves the problem of the commander" Wales proclaimed.

Kaga, who had been relatively quiet for some time, decided to join in the discussion and add her own two cents.

"I… I think you'll be able to kill two birds with *wince* one stone."

Turning to look over at her Senpai, Zuikaku was the first to respond.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Think about it. If we get the girls that are the closest to Shikikan, then we have them all in one spot. Able to question them on everything. Along with finding out if they know anything about his whereabouts" Kaga explained.

Seeing the benefit of the overall idea, most of the girls were now in agreement with the plan.

"Finding the truth by going the extra step… I'm all for this idea" Hood stated with a determined expression on her face.

"Mm. Are we all in agreement?" Shoukaku asked everyone.

The nods on all the girls' faces gave her the obvious answer.

"Right then, how should we split up?"

"I think… Zuikaku, Hood, and Bunker Hill should be the ones to take the lead to head out there and try to calm down as many girls along with finding his wives" Kaga explained to the group.

"While the others stay close by and have their phones on standby," Takao said, finishing the idea.

"Right."

The three mentioned girls all looked at each other and simply nodded in confirmation. They had a job to do, and they would not fail it.

"Understood" Zuikaku strongly affirmed.

"Very well" Hood replied valiantly.

"Got it" Bunker Hill responded tactfully.

With nothing else to say, the three girls began to make their way out of the building and started sprinting away. The mission was to find and calm as many of the kansens as possible along with locating any of Shikikan's wives. There was no way that they could fail this job. No way at all.

The rest of the girls started conversing with each other while also confiding in Kaga and Shoukaku about what other plans would need to be put into motion. In addition, a few of the girls like Essex and New Orleans started going outside and calming all the girls nearby. Mainz was also the one to have her phone ready to speed-dial Zuikaku in case of anything. Kaga would call Hood and Shoukaku had Bunker Hill's number.

Overall, this plan seemed to be getting traction and readying to go. The first real step into easing the crazy situation and finding a way to get out of this dilemma.

However, on another part of the island

The group being led by Littorio was currently making their way to the school gymnasium where it was suspected that several girls were currently trying to gather everyone that they could to figure out just what was happening. The idea of visiting the coast was re-evaluated shortly after their departure and given that things were increasing albeit with the planes flying overhead and some even engaging in dog fighting up in the air.

Hence, the idea of visiting the coast seemed a bit more… difficult at the moment which is why the school was the next targeted location to visit.

Opening the doors to the gym, Littorio, followed by Dunkerque, King George V, and Illustrious. The group of girls now in the large area could see many of their friends confiding in some of the younger girls. A few of the girls immediately recognized were Ayanami, Nelson, San Diego, Avrora, Repluse, and Hiei.

Walking up to the group of girls, Littorio figured that she should try to work her magic and see what the situation was going on.

"Greetings you fine and fabulous girls!"

The green-haired beauty was met with silence along with strange looks thrown her way. King George V had smirked at seeing the kansen not get the reaction she expected.

"Littorio? What are you doing here? Did you hear the news?" Hiei asked her.

"Aye. I heard the news alright. Which is why I've come to the school."

"You know where Shikikan is?" Repulse questioned, interpreting the woman's words differently than intended.

"Not quite."

"Huh? Then what do you mean? Why'd you come to the gym?" Avrora posed, not following what Littorio meant.

Striking a pose by raising her right hand forward, the green-haired kansen decided to spread the word of her lingering thoughts and how they were all betrayed by a certain group of girls.

"I've come to ask you all to join me in my mission to not only find Shikikan but also to strike back at those who have deceived us!" Littorio shouted both loud and clear for everyone to hear.

Illustrious who had been listening nervously shook her head. Not only was Littorio acting… rash to say the least, but she was starting what appeared to be a division.

"…I think I'm lost?" Ayanami stated while wide-eyed at the greenette's proclamation.

"You're not the only one" Nelson commented while crossing her arms and waiting for Littorio's explanation.

"Maybe it's a stunt? Ah! Maybe she's trying to take the spotlight because I'm here?" San Diego… well, she was doing what she does best.

Seeing that she wasn't getting the response she envisioned, the Sardegna battleship decided to clarify her impeccable announcement.

"Ladies, I bring news that will both reassure you and yet… anger you."

Having gotten their attention, she continued.

"As it is known, the commander is missing. That much is true. However, there is more to the situation than you think. There were several individuals who already knew about his disappearance for most of the day."

"Someone that knew that Shikikan was already missing?" Repulse repeated.

"Yes, and those individuals decided to keep to themselves and not say anything to the rest of us. I for one believe that to be… inconceivable" Littorio stated while clutching her gloved hand.

"They had their reasons, Littorio" Illustrious added.

"Alas, so they did. But that still does not excuse their actions which have ultimately led to the situation turning out how it is now."

Puzzled by what was being said, Hiei was the first to step up and ask the million-dollar question.

"Who were the ones that already knew about Shikikan missing?"

"Enterprise, Akagi, Taihou, and Kaga. They were the ones to know the entire time."

Mummering could be heard as Nelson had grown immediately upset along with Avrora wondering why they would do such a thing. Ayanami on the other hand began pondering the reasoning behind Littorio coming here now and informing them of this information.

"It is also suspected that based on observations made from those three, Taihou went AWOL soon after, that the commander might have been kidnapped by someone on the island. Possibly someone close to him" Littorio added.

"…Why are you telling us this? Here and now of all times."

Seeing that one of the girls was thinking ahead, Littorio had a large smirk appear on her face while putting on her charming look.

"I tell you all this now because I've decided to make a change. I will be joining this race to find Shikikan only this time around it will be different. I plan on being upfront with everyone. Bringing them to my side and tell me- no us about anything regarding Shikikan."

Hearing the green-haired girl's proclamation, Repulse looked to the side and saw King George V, Dunkerque, and Illustrious merely standing there and watching the scene play out in front of them.

"What about you three? What are your thoughts on all this?"

Casting looks at each other, King George V decided that she would be the one to answer the question directed at them.

"My reason for listening to her would be that I'm also of the idea that the longer we let Enterprise and Akagi and the others continue this search, then the chances are the commander will still be missing. We have to act and cover ground those the others cared to glance over."

The blonde's statement left the other girls glancing at each other while debating on what they should do next. This was a situation that no one had ever dealt with and from the sounds coming from outside it would appear that rivalries and fights were starting to break out. Who knows how bad the situation might get if it goes on any longer? The first to really do anything was Nelson who took a step forward and nodded in a coercion with Littorio.

"Since the circumstances are quite hazardous and the commander might truly be missing, then I suppose I'll work with you this time around, Littorio."

This seemed to cause a spark of interest as the other girls reluctantly nodded their heads after shooting looks at each other to gauge the reactions in the gym. They also agreed that Shikikan needed to be found at all costs.

"*sigh* This is turning out to be a pushed-out conflict of interest. I hope the others are having better luck" Illustrious commented after seeing that Littorio was gathering more girls to her side.

What the end result would be when Littorio's group meets Akagi and Enterprise's groups? She did not know. But she knew it wouldn't be anything good.

Back with Enterprise

The fight against Roon was starting to become worrisome as she now had many cuts and bruises all around her body. Her clothes had been ripped and torn in some spots with dirt stains from rolling and being thrown to the ground due to the explosions coming from the Iron Blood girl. She was starting to feel her body become tired due to not wanting to hurt the girl but still not allowing herself to be overwhelmed by the incoming attacks.

Snapping herself back to her surroundings, Enterprise saw the girl's rigging pointed in her direction now which caused her to dash to the side while pulling back on her bow and letting an arrow fly right at Roon's arm.

*CLING*

The arrow managed to hit her, but her rigging moved to block the arrow. Roon merely kept walking toward her while firing round after round in response. The intimidating aura coming from her left Enterprise to silently swear under her breath as the situation was becoming grimmer. She would need to strike back in order to give her some space from the girl.

Raising her hand forward, many planes glowing in light started taking off from the landing pad on her rigging. Plane after plane was sent flying into the air when they suddenly burst into light and increased in size to regular-sized planes turning around and starting to rain fire on the Iron Blood kansen.

Roon saw this and did not react in any way. She merely looked up and aimed her weapons toward the planes and began firing away. Shot after shot, explosions now covered the area more than before. Enterprise took this opportunity to get some breathing room and hid behind a tree while adjusting her bow.

With the string pulled back and taking a deep breath, she peered around the tree and aimed at Roon. She would need to manage to stun her for a short time to get close and explain to her why she and the others decided to do what they did. Granted, this idea might not work, but she still had to try it.

"Sorry, Roon."

*WHOOOOSH*

The arrow was sent flying and managed to land right at Roon's foot. This was possible due to her attention being focused directly on the planes flying overhead and engaging in combat with her. Her riggings were firing nonstop shots while she had her head turned to the sky.

Sensing that something was near her, she looked down and saw the arrow. However, before she could react a burst of electricity went flying out of her arrow causing her to be shocked and start stammering. Her riggings were still firing at the planes up above, but their accuracy had decreased drastically. Enterprise now had her opening.

Rushing toward the girl to try and calm her down, the white-haired girl wasn't exactly sure what she should say to her or how she should try to calm her down, but something had to be done.

However, her plan was soon destroyed right in front of her eyes as she saw Roon struggling to move but with enough force coming from the dangerous girl. She forced her arm down while beckoning to her rigging to destroy the electrifying arrow. Even if she was standing right above the object.

With not enough time to stop her, Enterprise saw in one second Roon standing there looking at her with a mixed expression, and in the next, a large explosion covered the area throwing dust and debris everywhere and blocking her view of what was going on. The Grey Ghost forced herself to stop running and simply called out to the crazy girl.

"Roon! Roon! Are you okay? Ro- "

Suddenly, she was abruptly stopped when she felt the wind get knocked out of her before being sent flying back from something heavy hitting her. Rolling on the ground several times, Enterprise finally regained momentum and tiredly forced herself up when she was met face-to-face with a Roon who had her clothes damaged and dirt appearing on her face. Along with her riggings pointed right at her. She did not look happy at all.

"I don't think rolling around on the ground is good for your clothes, Enterprise" Roon said in a scary tone of voice. Her eyes seemed to glow with a dark color.

"What can I say? I don't want to end up with a hole. I'd rather take rolling around than that happening."

"Well then, anything else you'd like to say?"

Turning to look at her, Enterprise knew this was her chance.

"Why are you lashing out like this?"

Not fazed by her question, Roon replied while still having her riggings ready to strike.

"Do I really need to give a valid explanation? It's because you and Akagi kept quiet about Shikiakn's disappearance."

"To stop panic from spreading."

"No… you did it so that when you did find Shikikan… you could have him all to yourselves."

Roon straight up had a dark shadow appear around her eyes as she looked down on Enterprise. She also appeared to be done talking and moved her arm forward.

"I've wasted enough time on you now. I need to find him. Wherever he is." Her rigging started moving and appeared ready to fire. "Now then, this is goodbye, Grey Ghost."

With the rigging aimed right at her, Enterprise was trying to come up with any sort of plan that could get her out of this situation, but she was coming up empty-handed. She was royally screwed.

*KA-BOOM*

However, out of nowhere an explosion hit Roon and sent her flying back with her rigging helping her from rolling back too far. Twisting her head to the side, Enterprise saw a familiar brown-haired kitsune girl limping over to her while her riggings were also visible. Akagi reentered the fight.

"Thanks for the breather."

"Y-Yeah. I kinda want to take one now."

"Afraid that's not going to work" Akagi commented while glancing over at Roon who had remained silent while watching the two.

"No kidding. *sigh* I'd like to say that I've weakened her but… truth is I've been holding my punches."

Akagi scoffed at Enterprise before summoning a flame to appear in her hand.

"You plan on changing that now?"

"…Yeah."

Drawing her bow and pulling the string back, Enterprise with some back up was now ready to try and quell the monster known as Roon as she continued to have a daunting look on her face. No real emotional expression on her face. Just a look that said that they were in her way.

The situation was nowhere near resolved but that didn't matter. Akagi and Enterprise both realized that this was the consequence of their actions for not spreading the word sooner. Even if things could have been different. It was too late. Now the task of finding Shikikan was in the hands of the other girls. Their task now involved stopping Roon before she would burn the entire island in search of the commander.

Meanwhile, at the shipyard

The commander continued walking around the place, trying to find anyone and learn about what was happening. He seriously did not have a clue as to what was going on and needed to get to the bottom of this case fast.

Hearing more explosions and gunfire taking place in the distance, he started jogging through the yard and back onto the mainland where he spotted a familiar face which reassured him greatly.

"Kent! Boy, am I glad to see you."

Turning her head back, the Royal Navy cruiser spotted the young man running up to her and smiled widely.

"Shikikan there you are! We need to hurry. Things are getting worse."

"Why? What's going- "

"There's no time to explain! We need to find the commander fast so that he can calm everyone down" Kent rapidly stated.

This left the commander confused for a second before he had to double-take at what he was hearing.

"H-Huh!? What are you talking about?"

"No time. Look, I'll head that way and you head the other way. Meet up with the others and then we can see what else everyone has found regarding the commander's situation."

Before he could get another word in, Kent took off in the direction she started leaving the commander to stand there and merely watch her get further away until she was out of sight. On her mission to find... the commander...

"…What?"

The commander was beyond baffled at what just transpired. He was once again left in the dark on what exactly was going on. Things did not make any sense at all.
