Chapter 35.
Noah nodded weakly, before grabbing his stuffed elephant and holding it to his chest. They sat in silence for a while, before Noah tapped his mother's arm.
"Yes?"
"Do you think I'll be a good big brother to two babies instead of just one?" He mused. Olivia smiled softly and nodded.
"You are going to be an amazing big brother, Noah. Now, do you remember what you wanted to do when the baby gets here? You'll be able to do everything twice as much now," Olivia smiled.
Noah grinned as he thought about all of the things he was excited about regarding the new baby.
"I get to play with two babies, and cuddle two babies! I can't wait to teach them to dance," Noah smiled from ear to ear.
"The babies are so lucky to have you, Noah." Olivia smiled, tearfully. She wrapped an arm around Noah and held him to her side.
"Do you know what they are? I kinda want sisters." Noah admitted.
"We haven't found out yet, but we will once they are born." Olivia chuckled. She lifted her eyes from Noah and smiled softly at Sonny. He had snuck in a few minutes ago and had just stood and watched Olivia be the absolute best mother to her little boy.
"I'm sorry that I ran away." Noah whispered, his eyes traveling to Sonny as well.
"Never do that again, Noah. Okay? If you are having scary feelings, come in here and relax for a few minutes. Then we will discuss them as a family." Sonny breathed. Noah nodded slowly.
"I promise."
Dominick walked over to the bed and sat on the other side of Noah. He grabbed his small hand and squeezed it, before looking down at him and smiling.
"Ya know, having two little aliens instead of just one will be more exciting."
"Aliens? Why do you keep calling them that?!" Noah giggled.
"Uncle Fin has been calling the baby an alien since we found out about this pregnancy, now we have two aliens instead of one." Sonny chuckled.
"Can I call them that too?" Noah mused.
"Might as well," Dominick grinned. Noah climbed out of bed and went to see if he had an alien stuffed toy, and Sonny reached over and caressed Olivia's cheek.
"I love you," He whispered.
"I love you too," Olivia breathed. Sonny leaned over and placed a soft kiss to the corner of her mouth.
"Disgusting!" Noah exclaimed.
"Mister, don't you call this disgusting. You shouldn't have been watching anyway." Sonny mumbles, as he stood and grabbed the boy by his waist. He lifted him up and tossed him on the bed before he started to tickle him as giggles poured from his mouth.

Amanda lounged on the couch, flipping through the TV channels, but her mind just couldn't process the news she had received today. Noah had told her today that his mother was pregnant with twins, even though she and Sonny were no longer together. The news was quite shocking for Amanda, who still couldn't wrap her head around the idea that her best friend was having twins with her ex-boyfriend.
She would be lying if she said that it didn't hurt her anymore. Amanda had good days but she also had bad days where she couldn't help but think about everything that had happened.
As she lay on the couch, she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, trying to relax her mind and body. She was getting better at handling the situation, but she still felt kind of hurt. On the one hand, she was glad to have her best friend back and would do anything to keep it that way. On the other hand, it was taking a toll on her.
The questioning of what could have been if things had worked out differently still lingered at the back of her mind, but she tried to push those thoughts away.

Once Noah was snoring softly from his bed, Olivia and Sonny slipped into their bedroom and got ready for bed. Sonny laid on his side and gently caressed Olivia's belly.
Sonny lay on his side and gently stroked Olivia's stomach as she sent a text message to Amanda. She sighed and wondered if Noah needed therapy. With all the changes that had happened in her life, she knew that she needed to prioritize her son's mental health.
"A penny for your thoughts." Sonny said, sensing Olivia's discomfort.
Olivia looked at Sonny and replied with a hint of concern in her voice "I was just thinking about Noah. I feel like he might need therapy to help him adjust to the changes that have happened in our lives."
Sonny nodded in agreement and assured Olivia that seeking therapy for Noah's mental health was a commendable decision.
