3 days passed. Aladdin walked quietly towards the gardens of the young princess. The more time passed, the more comfortable he felt in the midst of all this wealth. But he had to admit that he still missed the adventure of the street. But with the announcement of the marriage made by the sultan, Aladdin began to think that he might not have any more great adventures in the streets... If he really became a prince, and even a future sultan, he would not be able to have this kind of activity anymore. The more he thought about it, the more he found it hard to believe. He, a sultan ? It was completely crazy. He finally arrived at the garden, and saw the young princess walking quietly in the distance between the different flower alleys. He quickened his pace to join her, and smiled when he saw her, imagining for a moment that soon she could be his wife.

"Jasmine ?" he called, smiling as she turned to face him.

"Oh hello Aladdin. Are you okay ?"

"I'm fine, how about you ? Are you ready to join your father ? Today is the day you're supposed to tell him your answer."

"I admit I'm a little nervous." confided Jasmine as she watched the bees coming to forage on the beautiful flowers at her feet.

"Yes I can imagine your situation. But...I was wondering, have you finally made a decision ? Even me, I haven't heard from you yet."

"You will know my answer along with my father." she said calmly, in a reassuring voice.

Aladdin smiled. She didn't seem worried, which was a pretty good sign he thought.

In reality, Jasmine was completely lost, but she was hiding it rather well. She had had three days to think about her situation, to weigh the good points of marrying Aladdin against the bad points. She had not seen the vizier during these three days, giving her more chance to think without being disturbed by this infernal man. And yet she still couldn't make a decision. It was quite tragic, because it was surely the most important decision of her life. It was not normal. Normally, saying yes to her future husband should be something to look forward to, she should be excited to finally have found someone who understands her, who can satisfy her. So why was she praying with all her heart that her father would give her more time before making such a decision.

"Well, let's go then ?" offered Aladdin, extending his arm toward the princess. Jasmine reluctantly grabbed him and followed him toward the throne room, her brain still reeling. As she walked, Jasmine began to worry seriously. With each new step, she felt her heart pinch a little more. Unfortunately for her, they reached the throne room faster than she would have liked. She saw her father in the distance, sitting alone on his elephant throne. When she saw him, she took a deep breath, as if to give herself courage. She was surprised that her father would agree to postpone the wedding again. Especially given everything that had happened in the last few days, he wanted more than anything to have someone take care of her...

"Aaaah my dear girl ! I hope you are well ! Hello Aladdin." smiled the sultan in a cheerful air. The young man bowed respectfully to the ruler, not breathing a word.

"This is a great day for you Jasmine, today is the day your engagement will be announced ! At least, I hope so."

Jasmine swallowed, feeling the pressure rise once again. The sultan leapt from his throne with enthusiasm and came before his daughter.

"So my darling ? Are you ready to marry Aladdin ?" the sultan asked happily, confident that the young princess would be delighted.

Jasmine looked at the ground, hesitant, feeling lost. "I..." She couldn't make up her mind.

Her father saw her hesitation. He couldn't figure it out. Yet he was sure his daughter would be thrilled with the situation, and it didn't look like it. He lost his smile, fearing that his daughter would refuse to get married again. If that was really the case, he wouldn't know what to do.

"What's going on, Jasmine ? I thought you would be happy to be able to marry this young man. I thought you liked him." gasped the sultan.

"Of course I like Aladdin, but this is a big decision, and this time it goes beyond my feelings. You are aware that Aladdin has no skills in how to run a kingdom ?"

"Yes, I am aware of that. But I remind you that you will be the one with full power. And you can always teach the boy a few things if you really want to."

"Father, it doesn't matter if I try to teach Aladdin things. The neighboring kingdoms will just see that he is a street boy."

"So what ? Would you rather marry one of the princes who came to see you ?"

"I didn't say that. I'm just saying it's a decision that shouldn't be taken lightly."

Aladdin was a little embarrassed by the situation. He had expected Jasmine to say yes without really doing all that suspenseful stuff. He wondered if it was really because of his background that she was so hesitant. But what she said was right. He didn't know anything about running a kingdom. And he wasn't sure he'd really be any good at it.

"Yes I understand. But you're still going to have to make a decision. So, do you want to marry Aladdin ?" the sultan asked again.

The young boy concerned by this most important question looked at Jasmine, waiting for her answer with a stress he didn't think he would have to feel now.

As she heard her father speak, Jasmine felt her heart race. Now was the time to make a decision. The future would be so different depending on the answer she had to give at this very moment. She looked at Aladdin, trying to clear her mind. This time she wasn't wondering about the consequences of her decision on the kingdom. She already knew it wasn't a good idea to take that risk. No, now it was her future with Aladdin as her husband that she was trying to imagine, to foresee. When she looked at him, she wondered if she would really be happy knowing that it was him she would see every morning when she woke up, every night before she went to sleep. If he was the one she wanted to snuggle up to when she needed comfort, or just to feel loved and wanted. If he was the one she really wanted to confide in. If he was the one she really wanted to have children with, and share the rest of her life with... While she was asking herself all these questions, although it was Aladdin she was looking at, it was another man she was seeing. It was with another man that she imagined sharing her sorrows and joys, that she wanted to share all that life had to offer. The more she thought about it, the more obvious it sounded. Being presented with the fait accompli in this way, she finally realized what she really wanted. She had never been so sure of what she wanted, and she was tired of pretending. She returned to the present moment, and alternated her gaze between her father and Aladdin.

"I'm so sorry, I can't." she contented herself before turning and trotting off towards the corridors. She didn't wait for a response from her interlocutors and quickly escaped, a small smile emerging on her lips.

Jafar turned into his room. He felt sick. Today was the day the princess would announce her union with young Aladdin. He hated himself. Things could have been so different. He could have let go and kept the princess for himself. Or he could have not fallen in love with her, and just kept his distance instead of proposing this deal. But no, he had to let her work her way into his heart. He continued to pace in his room, torturing his mind by imagining the princess living the rest of her life with Aladdin, away from him forever. He needed some air. He walked to his balcony and took a deep breath, as if to relax. But it was a waste of time. It was going to take him a long time to forget about all this and shut his feelings down. Things are much easier when you decide to remain cold and heartless. If he had known... He leaned back slightly and leaned on his balcony. As he tried to clear his mind of all the torture, he clenched his fists, his teeth, and tensed his muscles. He was driving himself crazy. He looked up to the sky and relaxed everything he had just clenched with a sigh, like a breath of abandonment and acceptance. As he felt his heart clench again, he thought he heard a noise outside his rooms. To make sure that everything was okay, he went back to his apartments. Everything was quiet. He waited a few seconds, and a knock was heard at his door. He had heard something.

Even though he didn't want to see anyone, he went to the door despite himself. Perhaps this person who had come to bother him would be able to take his mind off it.

As he opened the door, he felt his heart leap in his chest as his eyes fell on the beautiful princess he certainly didn't expect to see now. What was she doing here ? She was supposed to be with her father the sultan and Aladdin. What had happened to make her end up here ? He cleared his throat slightly as if to regain his mind.

"Princess, what are you doing here ? Aren't you supposed to be with your father ?"

Jasmine lowered her eyes to the ground. It was now that she had to be brave. She was so afraid of being ridiculed, of being rejected. But she couldn't back down now.

"May I come in ?" she asked almost shyly as she looked up.

Jafar didn't know what to expect. He was a little taken aback.

"Um...yes of course." He wasn't sure if this was a good idea, but what else could he do ? Send her away ? She seemed to have things to tell him and he was too curious to know what was going on with her. He just hoped she hadn't come to tell him about her happiness at marrying another man... He stepped aside and let the princess into his room. He swept the outside of his apartments, checking that no one had seen the young woman enter here. He closed the door, and stood still. This situation reminded him of good memories... He swallowed, trying to prevent these good memories from resurfacing. It might impair his judgment and he preferred to keep his mind clear.

He turned and looked at her. She was walking slowly around the room, looking around as if she were discovering the room again. Yet she already knew this place very well...

"Is something bothering you, princess ? Have you seen your father ?" asked the vizier, carefully analyzing her every move.

Still with her back to him, Jasmine breathed in. "I have seen him." she settled.

Jafar didn't know what to say. It seemed she was having trouble expressing herself. He didn't answer and waited, she would speak when she felt ready.

Jasmine looked down at the ground again. Why was this so difficult ? She bit her lip, imagining for a moment what might follow if everything went as well as she wanted. She had to act. If she thought too much, she might lose her nerve. She just had to go for it. She breathed in and blew out silently.

"I will not marry Aladdin."

At her announcement, Jafar felt his heart beat faster. Had he heard her right ? She was giving up on marriage to this young boy despite the confidence she seemed to have shown a few days ago ? This was unexpected.

"Oh...uh...I...um..." stammered Jafar. He still couldn't believe it. This unexpected news implied so many things. First, it was great news for the kingdom. It meant that it would not have to suffer the consequences of a reign represented by a street rat. But more importantly, he wouldn't have to suffer the thought of the young princess in another man's bed. He knew it would happen one day, that she would find a husband, but the later it happened, the better, thought Jafar.

Jasmine smiled as she heard the vizier stammer. Jafar was not a man who was easily destabilized. So seeing that she had such an effect on him pleased her greatly.

"I...I admit to being surprised. A few days ago you seemed so sure of yourself and inclined to marry him. What made you change your mind ?"

Jasmine's back was still to him and she looked ahead, taking confidence in herself, determined to put him before the fait accompli.

"...You told me a few days ago that I wasn't being honest with you." She turned back to him to finally look at him. "But then again, we can't say that you were more honest than me."

Jafar squinted slightly, not understanding what she was referring to. "What do you mean ?"

She began to walk slowly towards him, merely looking at him, watching his reactions carefully.

Seeing her getting closer every second, Jafar felt his heart beat faster. When she was here, he could not control himself.

"When I asked you who would be likely to love me the way I've always dreamed, you said you didn't know. But we both know that's not true."

The vizier shuddered, she had no idea how right she was. The distance between them was getting smaller and smaller. Soon she would be right in front of him and given the way things were starting to go, he wasn't sure he could resist her.

"You said that between us it was only desire, and nothing more. But that too, you know is a lie..." Seeing the vizier's embarrassment, a charming smile appeared on Jasmine's lips. This time she would not let him shirk. "I would not marry Aladdin because I love another man..." breathed Jasmine, now facing the vizier. Hearing her, Jafar let his jaw drop in astonishment. He never thought such a thing could happen ! Had she really just confessed her feelings for him ? He was sure that for her there were no feelings. He suddenly felt so light, as if this news soothed his heart and erased all his fears. He remained silent, not knowing what to say to her. It was so unreal. Jasmine felt his breath on her face. The temptation was so great. She remembered the taste of his lips very well and felt it had been too long since she had tasted it. Not being able to resist the temptation a second more, she leaned forward a little more and came to put her lips delicately on his. Jafar was satisfied to accept her kiss, the spirit still fogged by the situation. But he had to admit that it was delicious to feel her again against him. Seeing that he didn't reject her, Jasmine pushed her body against his, eager to feel him closer and closer to her.

Jafar was dying to push her to his bed, but this was no time to make a mistake. He reluctantly broke their kiss and put his hands along her arms, as if to keep her at a distance and caress her at the same time. Getting away from her was so hard.

"Princess...you know I have feelings for you. But I can't." breathed Jafar sadly.

"Why ? Don't tell me it's your status as a vizier that holds you back. My father allowed a scoundrel to marry me, he'll have no problem allowing his trusted vizier to do the same."

Jafar smiled at the thought of becoming Jasmine's husband. It was a very enticing prospect. Being her husband would be his greatest pride and joy.

"You told me I became your weakness because you were afraid of losing me... But don't you think you will lose me if you refuse to listen to your heart ? Don't you think that your best way to protect me is to be close to me ? Do you think I'd be safer with anyone but you ? If I don't marry Aladdin, are you really going to let me suffer one of these incompetent princes ? I know you're afraid of reliving the pain you went through when you lost your sister, but you must not let that fear control your life."

Jafar probed her. Her words were full of good sense. She was brilliant, so irresistible. Maybe she was right... After all, what future awaited him if all his life he ruminated on what he'd missed out on ? What better way to protect her and make her happy than to stay close to her ? As he felt his heart melt, she opened her mouth again.

"It's you who should become the next sultan. You've always been there for Agrabah. And...I need you by my side. Jafar I love you." breathed Jasmine almost shyly, hoping he'd understand how much she wanted him.

As soon as she'd finished, Jafar plunged to her and kissed her passionately, drawing a moan from the young woman. She loved him...she wanted him as her husband...she wanted him as her sultan... He could never have wanted anything better. It was so unexpected. He realized he could no longer live without her. She had become indispensable to his happiness, and he knew he'd never be able to get rid of her. She had taken over his heart. His heart was beating for her. Sliding one hand down her back and the other on her hip, he pressed her against him, wanting to feel her body against his. It had been so long, too long. How many times had he imagined taking her back into his arms ? He moved his hand to the back of her neck and bowed his head to kiss her fiercely.

Jasmine smiled, delighted with his reaction. She couldn't have hoped for better. She slid her hands down his torso and savored the sensation of his warm lips on hers. Jafar leaned in a little more, forcing the princess to put a hand behind his neck to hold herself against him. Another moan escaped the princess's mouth. She loved seeing him so enterprising. She wanted to feel him possess her. Opening her lips to begin a new kiss, she felt the vizier's tongue insinuate into her mouth, skilfully caressing her tongue. She responded willingly to his ardor. It felt so good. She felt herself tingle. A warmth emanated from her lower belly. She needed to be caressed, to be satisfied. She wanted it so badly. Jasmine raised one of her thighs and lightly rubbed her pelvis against the vizier's, managing to elicit a grunt of pleasure. Jafar slid his hand up the thigh of the beautiful young woman into his arms. He felt his own arousal increase at her touch. As the temptation grew stronger, he released her lips.

"Princess, stop. Or I won't be able to restrain myself from making you mine." breathed Jafar, coming to slowly kiss the flesh of her neck, releasing her thigh to let it fall back to the collar.

"But why should you hold back ?" moaned Jasmine with a sly little smile, pushing him fiercely against the wall a few inches behind them, coming to take his mouth again greedily.

Jafar growled, loving all the ardor she was showing. The temptation was very strong. But making this moment he'd been looking forward to wait a little longer would only make it tastier.

"Don't count on me to go against tradition, my dear... We're not married yet." he informed, pushing her completely aside so that it was she against the wall and he against her. She looked up at him in a way that was far too seductive. It was obvious she was trying to break him. Unable to sustain her pretty gaze, he lowered his eyes and fell on her generous cleavage. Why did she have to be so beautiful ?

"Yet the last time we found ourselves in this situation, you didn't seem to be bothered by traditions..."

Jafar smiled, remembering all the moments of sexual tension they'd shared, never quite managing to go all the way with their desire. "No indeed, but at those times I never thought I'd have the chance to become your husband, princess."

"Hmmm you're diabolical. Why do you always have to give me so much frustration..." breathed Jasmine, coming to steal another kiss. She felt the vizier's sneaky smile beneath her lips.

Jafar put one hand on her hip, the other caressing her cheek. He savored the divine sensation of her lips on his one last time before breaking the kiss.

"Shouldn't you join your fathe r? He might be worried about his dear daughter..." breathed Jafar with a mocking look.

"Yes, I'll join him. But you're coming with me." replied Jasmine, raising her eyebrows.

"Me ? Why ? I'm not sure how your father will react, and I don't want him to decide to lock me up for seducing his daughter..."

"he'll have to go through me first before locking you up." Jasmine breathed seductively.

"Oh, really ? In that case, I'll gladly follow you. I like the idea of you defending me." he teased, leaning in again to steal one last fleeting kiss.

Jasmine responded to his kiss, before feeling him pull away. The vizier held out his arm, inviting her to hook onto him to begin their walk.

"With your permission, my dear."

Jasmine smiled. It was too hard to resist him. She didn't answer, just clung tenderly to his arm. They left the vizier's chamber and walked purposefully towards the throne room.

The Sultan was walking in circles in front of his throne, pacing 100 paces in a panic. He didn't know what to do. He'd been convinced that things were finally going to work out for Jasmine, but he'd been wrong again. Aladdin had left shortly after his daughter. He didn't really know where. Poor guy, he must have been upset. After all, he'd thought of marrying the princess and she'd turned him down after giving him hope. He sighed in despair. He was out of alternatives. If Jasmine refused even to marry Aladdin, he would leave her no choice. He would bring back the previous suitors and she would choose among them. She left him no choice. But, what if one of these princes was still a ploy to take his daughter away from him... Oh, he didn't know what to do. As he continued to brood, he heard someone approaching in the distance. He instinctively looked up and saw his daughter, the vizier right beside her. He was surprised. He hadn't thought he'd see her again so soon. As they approached, he realized that the vizier and his daughter were surprisingly closer than he'd thought. It was very surprising to see them so close. He had rather thought that they hated each other, that they had no sympathy for each other. He watched them approach, wordlessly, puzzled.

"Father...I have something important to tell you." Jasmine began once in front of her father.

"Uh, is everything all right, Jasmine ? Jafar what are you doing here ?" questioned the sultan, without receiving an answer from the vizier. Instead, his daughter took another step towards him.

"Father, I've finally chosen my future husband."

"What ?! But who ?! That's wonderful, Jasmine ! So, if not Aladdin, which prince have you chosen ?" asked the sovereign, perplexed.

"It's not a prince... Father, I've chosen to marry Jafar."

The little man was speechless. He wasn't sure he'd heard right. It was totally unexpected, and incomprehensible to say the least. He glanced quickly at his vizier, who hadn't moved an inch.

"Did I hear right ? You want to marry...Jafar ? But, Jasmine I don't understand. Since when do you like the vizier ? I always thought you had no sympathy for him so why would you want to marry him ?"

"I simply got to know him. And I realized that I liked him very much as a person and that he was the only man worthy of ruling this kingdom."

"But..." The sultan was quite disturbed. He wanted a young boy to marry off his daughter. And Jafar didn't really meet that criterion. He couldn't understand why she would choose him. "...but Jafar is not a prince. He's only a vizier, you can't marry him." gasped the sultan. He would never have believed that one day he would be the one to oppose his daughter's marriage.

Jasmine restrained herself, feeling exasperation rising inside her. She wondered if her father wasn't doing it on purpose. Was he really totally devoid of logic ? Jafar was still behind her, saying nothing. She was rather embarrassed that her father was so...thoughtless.

"Father...you were willing to let Aladdin marry me when he was just a peasant. He's had no education, he's stolen all his life to survive, he has no idea how to run a kingdom. Jafar, on the other hand, has been your most loyal vizier for many years. It's thanks to him that Agrabah is safer every day. He knows how to run a kingdom, you know who he is, and that he is trustworthy. And you won't let me marry him because he's not a prince ?" Jasmine raised her voice under the gentle gaze of the vizier. He was delighted to hear her defend him so.

"Father, you were willing to change the law to let me marry a scoundrel. Then you can change the law to let me marry the royal Vizier... Anyway, I won't marry anyone else. My choice is made." Jasmine announced confidently.

"I... yes, that's true. It's just that I'm rather surprised by this announcement. And you, Jafar, what do you think of all this ?" asked the sultan, glancing at his vizier.

Jafar finally stepped forward and stood next to Jasmine. "My lord, it would be an honor for me to marry your daughter and you can be sure that making her happy will be my number one priority."

"Yes...I see. Hummm, I suppose I don't really have any good reason to oppose this union... After all, it's true that you're a trustworthy person my dear vizier and if it's really what my daughter wishes, then all right. You have my blessing !" the sultan finally informed.

Jasmine's face suddenly relaxed, delighted. It had gone better than expected. She couldn't believe it. This was it ! Jafar was officially her future husband ! They'd never have to hide from each other again, and best of all, she'd never have to entertain vain princes to listen to them eulogize themselves to show her how wonderful they were. It was like a new life beginning, a life with the man she loved... She already knew that together, they could do great things for Agrabah. As she inwardly rejoiced, Jafar's voice snapped her out of her reverie.

"Thank you, my lord. I am most grateful and promise to always be there for her."

"I don't doubt it." the sultan contented himself.

The vizier smiled and grabbed the princess's hand. Without embarrassment, he drew her gracefully to him and placed his other hand on the small of her back. Jasmine let him, paying no attention to her father. Seeing them so close, the sultan felt surprisingly embarrassed. He knew that one day he would see his daughter in the arms of another man. But the fact that it was his vizier who was holding her like that made him feel strange. He couldn't help averting his eyes as they drew ever closer.

Jafar smiled slyly and leaned towards the princess until he could whisper in her ear.

"It went well in the end. What a pity... I would have loved to see your ardor surging as you fought for me..." Jafar breathed hoarsely.

Jasmine smiled at his remark and discreetly placed a hand on his lower abdomen... Jafar felt himself shiver at her touch. She was so close to his crotch, and he knew very well that it was totally voluntary on her part. She was diabolical... Finally, she slid her hand down his abdomen to his chest. Then she passed it over his shoulder until she brought it up behind his neck. Her caresses were so pleasant, so divine. He couldn't wait to feel her body so much closer to his own.

Thanks to the grip on the back of his neck, Jasmine leaned him slightly to one side and came to whisper in his ear. "Soon, you'll have the opportunity to see all the ardor I can deploy..." she said as she sensually moved closer to him, paying no attention to her father. Jafar smiled. She doubted nothing, and he liked that very much. Not resisting another second of her sensuality, he grabbed her face and came to kiss her tenderly. Jasmine responded to his embrace, pleasantly surprised by his initiative.

The sultan wasn't looking at them, and he'd rather not. He was afraid of what he might see, especially as he could no longer hear them talking, but instead felt as if he could hear mouth noises... He was very uncomfortable indeed.

"Jasmine ?"

Recognizing the voice coming from the back of the throne room, the sultan stood up to see the young boy who had just appeared.

The princess, still in the arms of her future husband, gasped as she heard Aladdin's voice calling out to her. She gently stepped back from the vizier, fearing she had hurt the young man's feelings. Although she had no feelings for him, he was still a good person and she had great affection for him. He had become a true friend and she didn't like the idea of having hurt him.

"Aladdin ? I didn't think I'd see you again now. Embarrassed, she stepped out of the vizier's arms. "I'm so sorry, I let you think you could marry me when I knew deep down I couldn't. I hope you don't blame me..."

Aladdin walked towards them with a neutral face. She couldn't work out what state of mind he was in.

"I'm not angry with you, Jasmine. I'm not going to deny that I'm perhaps a little disappointed. But you're right to listen to your heart. I knew something was up with the vizier."

"You knew ?!" said Jasmine, astonished.

"There are some looks that don't deceive... I did see that you had an unusual relationship, a relation outside the princess and vizier framework. You always seemed to want to hear from the vizier, to know what he was doing, how he was doing... He seemed to be the only thing that really interested you." Hearing the young man, Jafar smiled. So like that, he'd been the center of the beautiful woman's attention ? He was flattered. "And the vizier always seemed to worry about you." Jasmine began to blush.

"I confess that when the sultan announced that I could become your husband, I told myself that my life would finally change, that my miseries were over, that I could live with someone like me, sharing who I am. I thought that living here in the midst of all this wealth, with someone as incredible as you, would be the best thing that could happen to me. But I realize now that it wouldn't really make me happy. I have to admit that I kind of miss my old life. Even if it was mundane, poor and difficult, it was an exhilarating life, always full of the unexpected and action-packed. I think life in the palace is not for me after all." Aladdin smiled sincerely at the young woman. She returned his smile, her heart filled with joy.

"You're a good person, Aladdin. Despite all the hardships we've been through and the sad circumstances of our meeting, I'm happy to know you. I hope we remain friends despite your return to your home."

"I'm happy, too, to have had the chance to know you. I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused you. And it would be an honor for me to be your friend, Jasmine." The young woman smiled and moved toward him. She brought her hands behind his shoulders and pulled him towards her in a friendly embrace, placing his head next to hers.

Aladdin embraced the princess, bringing his hands behind her back.

"You're always welcome here if you need anything." breathed Jasmine, still holding him in her arms.

Jafar observed the scene. Just a few hours ago, if he had witnessed this, he would surely have had murderous urges. But now he didn't care. He now knew who Jasmine's heart was really beating for. He looked at the boy and began to think that he wasn't so insufferable after all. He was just young and naive. He'd seen him as a pest who'd come to take his princess after making her suffer, but we all make mistakes, he was well placed to know. And this boy had made up for it much faster than he had. As the princess broke off the embrace and took a step away, Jafar moved towards them, his hands clasped behind his back.

"It seems I've misjudged you, young man. And, I too owe you thanks. You brought comfort to the princess when she needed it. You've been a listening ear for her. She's right, you're a good person." Jafar moved to Jasmine's side and laid a hand on her shoulder, pulling her slightly closer to him. Jasmine let him, enjoying his touch and feeling his body against hers.

"Thank you, royal Vizier." replied Aladdin, bowing slightly to him.

"If you wish, I can offer you a job. Something that would allow you to pursue your adventurous desires while improving the comfort of your life."

"A job ? What kind of job ?" asked Aladdin, curious. This could be an interesting proposition. If it allowed him to get by better while keeping his life, it suited him just fine!

"You know that here, we're doing everything we can to make Agrabah an ever-safer city for its inhabitants, we're doing everything we can to try to improve everyone's standard of living, to make everyone feel safe. But we're still having a hard time catching some thugs, whether they're thieves, killers, or even worse... Our guards just can't manage to flush them out of their hiding places. These bandits manage to elude us every time. You know the streets well, and you seem quite agile and resourceful. So I'd like you to flush out these vermin for us. I realize it's dangerous work, but you'll be contributing to the well-being of Agrabah, and we'll reward you for your risk-taking. Of course, I'm not forcing you to do anything, it's your decision." Jafar finished, examining the young man's reaction.

Aladdin didn't even think. This was exactly for him ! Adventure, danger, enough to keep him on his toes. And what's more, it was for a good cause, it was for everyone's safety, and he'd even be rewarded for it. "I accept my lord ! Thank you very much for this opportunity." replied Aladdin.

"Perfect. But don't take any risks. Just provide us with the information that will enable our guards to intervene. We'll provide you with a secure rendezvous point at which you'll meet our captain of guards to provide him with the relevant information and receive your payment." informed Jafar, feeling Jasmine's hand tenderly caressing his back.

"Oh, the captain of the guards ? You mean Razoul...?" Aladdin felt his hair stand on end at the thought of having to work with this mountain of muscle. He wasn't sure this was a good idea. "Hummm I'm sorry but, I don't think Razoul really likes me. And I confess I'm a little afraid he's going to treat me like the scum I'm going to try and flush out." Aladdin lowered his eyes, fearing the vizier's reaction.

"Don't worry about that. I'll be very persuasive with him so that he'll show you respect."

"Oh, thank you my lord." replied Aladdin simply, not convinced that the vizier could really change Razoul's attitude towards him. Anyway, he'll see.

"Well, come back here tomorrow at this time. I'll let you know your next steps."

"Agreed." replied Aladdin, bowing. Sensing it was time for him to leave, he walked over to the sultan seated on the throne behind the princess and the vizier, who had remained silent since he entered the room.

"Your highness, I thank you for everything, for your hospitality and your clemency towards a young street boy. It was an honor for me to have been welcomed here." breathed Aladdin as he bowed to him.

"Oh, please, my boy. It is I who thank you for all you have done for my daughter. I wish you all the best for the future, my little." Aladdin stepped back respectfully, bowing to him one last time.

Jasmine smiled. Finally, they would get to see each other again. It wasn't farewell. And she knew Aladdin was good enough to survive what lay ahead. He'd done it so far, there was no reason for that to change. "So in that case, see you soon Aladdin." the young woman said, smiling, as the young man walked past her.

"See you soon, Princess." replied the young boy, returning her smile, continuing on towards the great doors of the throne room, leading to the outside.

Jasmine watched him walk away until he disappeared completely. Calm having returned, she finally heard her father call out to her.

"Hummm, darling, Aladdin says he's caused you some trouble, what was he talking about ?"

Jasmine, still in the arms of her future husband, answered without moving. She was too comfortable to step aside now. "Nothing father, it's not important." she breathed, glancing discreetly at the vizier.

He returned her gaze and smiled with an air of complicity.

"Uh... so very well." the sultan breathed, uncomfortable at seeing them so close. "If you don't mind, your marriage will be pronounced in three days."

Jafar leaned towards the princess, coming to whisper in her ear once more, while caressing her hip with his fingertips. "What a pain to wait so long. I'm sure you could persuade him to shorten the delay." Jasmine smiled and bit her lip.

"Yes father, three days is perfect."

"You're diabolical," Jafar whispered.

Jasmine smiled and looked at him. "Wasn't it you who said waiting would only make it tastier ?"

She was so devious, and he loved it. "I will know how to make you regret it..."

"I can't wait to see that."

The sultan leapt from his throne, walking towards his daughter, who had just stepped aside from the vizier when she heard him coming. "My dear daughter, I'm so happy you're finally getting married !" He grabbed her hands and Jasmine crouched down to take him in her arms.

"Thank you father for being so patient with me. I know I haven't been easy every day, but today I'm finally fulfilled."

"Don't worry Jasmine, you were right. I'm so proud of you, you look so much like your mother... She'd be proud of you too. You're the most important thing to me. Your happiness is all that matters to me."

Jasmine sincerely embraced her father once more before stepping aside.

"Well, I think it's time to plan a wedding !" the sultan announced cheerfully. "I'll notify the neighboring kingdoms and start the preparations, it's going to be a great celebration to remember ! In three days, you'll be married !" finished the sultan before rushing out, leaving the princess and the vizier alone.

After a few seconds of silence, Jasmine smiled slyly as she felt the man behind her slowly approach. She bit her lip and brushed her hair away from her neck, knowing full well that she had the vizier's full attention.

"You like to be desired don't you, princess ?" breathed Jafar coming to position himself just behind her.

"It's only with you that I like to show myself desirable..." she replied as she advanced towards her father's throne.

"And I'm very flattered." He smiled as he watched her walk seductively away, swaying her hips with each step. When she found herself in front of the sultan's throne, she turned and her gaze locked with his. Then she sat down.

"It's very noble what you've done for Aladdin... Despite the fact that you don't like him, you've reached out to him, and I thank you for that." she remarked.

"But you're welcome, my dear. I know you care about him. And despite everything that's happened, he's not a bad person, he's just young and inexperienced." He admired her beautiful figure sitting gracefully on the throne. This situation suited her so well. The role of queen really was made for her. "And I must also confess that I knew it would please my future wife..."

Jasmine smiled almost shyly at his charm. He was driving her crazy. "You'll make a fine sultan. Very soon, this throne will belong to you, and you will rule Agrabah."

He walked slowly toward her. "And I won't be the only one. You will be my queen. You'll sit by my side as my equal, you're as capable as I am of ruling this city. You've been preparing for this all your life. You will be an excellent queen, my dear..." breathed Jafar as he leaned forward, leaning back on the edge of the seat. Jasmine smiled and moved her face forward a few inches. She was delighted with what she'd just heard. Oh she hadn't doubted for a moment that he would be respectful towards her, but hearing it from him was very pleasant and comforting.

"I'm glad to hear such things. It confirms to me that I have chosen my husband very well..." Jasmine breathed, bringing a hand to caress his face.

Jafar returned her beautiful smile and watched her move closer. She was so beautiful, so desirable. He wanted so much to make her his, now, on that throne. Oh, how he longed for her.

Jasmine bit her lip, perverse thoughts racing through her head. She could feel her heart beating faster and faster. She needed to feel his hands on her, she wanted to feel his lips taste every inch of her skin. She wanted him to introduce her to all the carnal pleasures life had to offer. But she knew she had to wait a little longer, if only to annoy the vizier.

In the meantime, she'll settle for stealing kisses. She brought her face close to the vizier's and placed her lips greedily on his. Feeling her heart warm, she put a hand behind his neck and deepened the kiss. A moan escaped her as she felt the vizier's tongue caress hers. It felt so good. She couldn't get enough of it.

Jafar sensed that if he continued, he might not be able to stop.

"I think we should start planning a certain wedding..." he breathed as he stepped aside, offering his hand to the princess to rise from the throne.

"Yes indeed."

Penultimate chapter ! I hope you enjoyed it ! This is it! They finally accept their feelings for each other ! I can't wait for the last chapter, you know very well what's going to happen mwaha ! I hope you're happy to finally see them fully together ;p. I'm happy to be able to put them together. If it was torture for you, know that it was for me too. I love writing them sensual, so having to make them take their distance is very difficult for me.

But, I don't know if this was the best way to bring them together. I'd love to hear what you think and if you can think of another way to get them to confess their feelings.

The last chapter is quite long, I'll try to post it as soon as possible !
