~~Hello readers, I'm here to update you all with a new chapter.
I want to give a special thank you to Akasha Rose for all of the support and great reviews.
I do not own anything from Digimon.
Only my original characters belong to me.~~
It was now late afternoon in the digital world.
My friends and I were still in the same cave.
We just had a disturbing encounter with Mira and her new former Digimon called Renamon.
Everyone except Ariel and I were having a quiet conversation about the recent event.
I continued watching over my Tentomon while helping Wizardmon calm down.
Wizardmon still felt very angry at the stress that Mira had caused for everyone.
I also healed Wizardmon's injuries from the fight.
Ariel stood next to Renamon and watched over her as she slept.
The exhausted fox Digimon never moved from her spot on the floor since she had been unintentionally hurt and defeated by Wizardmon.
Wizardmon was still sitting next to me wearing a saddened expression on his face.
He felt terrible for injuring Renamon.
"It's okay Wizardmon, we all know that you didn't mean to hurt Renamon. You're still an amazing Digimon," I reassured softly.
"Sioku is right, you bravely stood up to that girl. You acted like a true hero back there," praised Hawkmon.
I couldn't help but smile at the bird Digimon and sigh dreamily.
A tear fell from Wizardmon's eye as he smiled sadly.
"Thanks, but I fell right into Mira's horrible trap," he said remorsefully.
I placed a hand on Wizardmon's shoulder in order to console him and responded smoothly. "Wizardmon, none of that was your fault. Mira has always been a bad person."
Wizardmon took a moment to think about what I had just told him about Mira.
Ariel carefully knelt down by Renamon's side.
Renamon still didn't budge.
"Sioku, Wizardmon, I need both of you to come over here. Renamon needs healing," she said while thoroughly examining the fox Digimon's wounds.
"Hold on Sioku, Ariel already knows about your healing power?" asked my Tentomon in surprise.
"She sure does," I answered proudly.
Wizardmon and I excused ourselves from the group and quietly walked over to Ariel's side.
We then sat down on the ground.
Wizardmon's face saddened as he looked down at Renamon's wounded body.
"I'm so sorry Renamon, I didn't mean to hurt you. Sioku and I will heal you together," he said desperately.
I nodded before placing my hand over a small wound on the back of her neck.
The wound fully healed after a few minutes.
I then began healing all the wounds I could find on her.
Ariel and Tentomon watched in awe as most of Renamon's wounds disappeared completely.
"Wow Sioku, Renamon is already looking much better. Did you also use your healing power on Sedramon?" asked Ariel astonished.
"Of course I did," I answered proudly.
Wizardmon pointed his staff at her in a non threatening way and said softly. "Magic heal."
Renamon was surrounded by a beautiful green aura that revived some of her strength.
All she needed now was lots of rest.
"That should do it," said Wizardmon.
"Nice work you two," praised Ariel.
"Both of your healing powers work very well together," Tentomon complemented.
"Thanks DigiDearest," I replied.
We waited by her side for half an hour.
Renamon soon woke up and looked at us.
"What happened to me? Where is Mira?" she groaned.
The fox Digimon seemed confused but sad at the same time which made me worry about her..
Wizardmon and I shared an uncertain look.
"Mira left a while ago," I answered softly.
I immediately felt bad after breaking that terrible news to her.
Renamon forced herself up off the ground and frantically searched for the exit.
"Are you serious? Why would Mira do that to me?" she asked with hurt in her voice.
The fox desperately wanted to go find her tamer and apologize for her defeat.
"Renamon, hold on! Do you feel good enough to leave?" hollered Wizardmon as he placed a hand on her back.
"I'll be fine," the fox insisted.
She then proceeded to walk away.
Ariel cleared her throat and joined in. "Renamon wait, I don't think you should go search for that girl."
Renamon stopped and looked at Ariel.
"Mira is my tamer," she argued.
"Well she doesn't act like one," Ariel countered.
I nodded my head in agreement.
"Why do you say that?" continued Renamon.
"Mira told you to leave her alone forever," I answered.
"She wouldn't," Renamon muttered in disappointment.
The fox didn't want to believe that Mira would abandon her.
She still wanted to be Mira's Digimon, even after everything that had just happened.
"I'm being honest Renamon, Mira really did say that to you! Everybody heard it!" I shouted back.
"Calm down Sioku," urged Tentomon as he jumped onto my shoulder with worry.
Tentomon didn't like seeing me get worked up.
"I'm all right DigiDearest," I assured.
Wizardmon moved closer to her side in reassurance and said smoothly. "I'm sorry to tell you this Renamon, but my friend Sioku is telling the truth. Mira said some nasty things to you."
Renamon sat back down and sighed heavily.
"If what your friend said is true, what else did Mira say about me?" she asked in a softer tone.
"She never wants to see you again because you didn't win against me. You're not powerful enough for her," Wizardmon answered sadly.
Renamon silently turned away and thought about Wizardmon's unfortunate explanation.
The fox felt her heart sting as she lowered her head.
She finally realized that Ariel was only trying to help her.
"Are you okay Renamon?" asked Ariel.
Renamon looked at Ariel with sad eyes and answered. "No, but this pain will eventually pass. I shall go find another tamer if that's what Mira truly desires."
My heart went out to the poor Digimon.
Renamon cared a lot about Mira, but the girl only used her for the power she could demonstrate in battle.
She tried her very best to look passed Mira's selfishness but to no avail.
"I'm so sorry Renamon," I said sympathetically.
The fox lifted her head and stared at me.
"Do not blame yourself Sioku, Mira's actions have spoken to me loud and clear. She isn't my tamer anymore," the fox replied.
Hearing those heartbreaking words from Renamon made me feel sad as well.
"That's good, you don't need her. Mira is a horrible person anyway. Sioku and I know that from personal experiences with her," replied Ariel in a serious tone.
"You aren't the only Digimon. Mira treated me the same exact way," added my Tentomon.
Renamon then faced Ariel and asked in confusion. "How so?"
"Mira goes to school with Sioku and me. She is nothing but a bully," Ariel answered.
"I see," Renamon said thoughtfully.
I smiled as I looked at Renamon and said in a happier tone. "Please excuse my interruption, but I need to tell you something. Wizardmon and I worked together to heal your wounds while you were asleep."
"I appreciate both of your help," Renamon replied with a small smile of her own.
"You're most welcome," Wizardmon said graciously.
She then looked up at Tentomon who was still perched on my shoulder and asked. "What has Mira done to you?"
Tentomon was almost hesitant to reveal his situation to her knowing that there were other people around.
"Mira tortured me all the time when she was my tamer. She would strike me with her whip whenever I gave her information on any wild Digimon that we've encountered. I was also forced to Digi-evolve any time she wanted me to. She also used me as her personal shield against their attacks," he explained.
"Did Mira ever heal your injuries?" asked Renamon.
"No, Mira never cared about my health. She only focused on the power I displayed as mega Cabutarimon," he answered while trembling slightly.
My Digimon lifted himself into the air and flew toward Wizardmon who affectionately pulled him close.
"I've got you Tentomon," he said softly.
Tentomon buried himself into Wizardmon for comfort.
My friends and I all gasped at that in disbelief.
Renamon's calm expression suddenly changed to a look of fury as she hollered. "That can't be possible! Mega Cabutarimon is an ultimate form of Digi-evolution! How could someone like Mira make that happen?"
Everyone was startled by the anger in her voice.
"That is still a mystery," answered Izzy's Tentomon.
"I wish I knew so we could stop that selfish girl from doing it to other Digimon," I said sadly.
Ariel nodded her head in agreement.
"Renamon, did Mira ever get the chance to make you Digi-evolve against your will?" asked Wizardmon.
"Unfortunately yes, she made me Digi-evolve into Kyubimon. Kyubimon is only my champion form though," the fox answered.
Ariel stared sadly at Tentomon and then back at Renamon.
"That still isn't right! Mira had no right to control either of you," she said wearing a pained expression.
"I agree 100 percent with Ariel. Mira has put my poor Tentomon through so much pain. He is afraid to Digi-evolve now," I added.
Tai and his friends grew speechless as they looked at me with horrified expressions on their faces.
Tentomon's story had now been told.
There was a long period of silence in the cave.
"We've never heard of the ultimate level or faced a Digimon in that form," said Tai.
His friends nodded their heads in agreement.
"Hawkmon hasn't even reached his champion form yet," replied Ariel with a hint of jealousy.
"Hey, neither has Patamon," added T.K.
"Can a Digimon really do that?" asked Sora curiously.
"Yes, but you new tamers have a long way to go. Your Digimon partners need to feel the energy of your emotions," answered Renamon.
"How long will it take for our Digimon to Digi-evolve again?" asked Mimi.
"Unfortunately I don't have the answer to that question," Renamon smoothly replied.
"Guys, we should start heading to the base of Infinity Mountain. More Digimon are probably being controlled by black gears," said Izzy.
"I almost forgot about that," I replied.
Everyone started moving toward the entrance at once.
"Come here DigiDearest," I said to Tentomon.
Wizardmon gently released my Digimon, and Tentomon immediately flew to my side.
He then landed on my shoulder.
Wizardmon and Ariel stood behind me.
"Renamon, would you like to join us?" asked Ariel.
"Thank you for the generous offer, but I have already made up my mind. I'm going to search for a new tamer," the fox answered.
"I wish you the best of luck," I replied with a smile.
"Please take care of yourself," added Wizardmon.
"Thanks again," Renamon said before taking her leave.
I watched sadly as she disappeared from sight.
Ariel turned to me and whispered. "Hopefully this new tamer will actually treat Renamon with the respect she deserves. Renamon never should have been put in that terrible situation by anyone."
"I agree," I whispered back.
My friends and I finally exited the cave with Tai happily leading the pack.
The weather outside was gorgeous.
There wasn't a cloud in the sky.
We then made our way toward that same river where Joe and Mimi got water from.
The sound of rushing water grew louder as we traveled up the path.
I paused in wonder as I saw a familiar Digimon swimming in the river beside us.
"What's up Sioku?" asked Tai.
I was too focused on the water Digimon to answer him.
"Sioku?" said Izzy.
There was no answer.
"What's with her?" asked Ariel confused.
"She's probably searching for either something or someone," answered Hawkmon.
Ariel sighed and looked toward the water.
A serpentine body suddenly came into my view.
I stared at it with wide eyes.
My heart began to race as I grinned.
"Look at the water guys! I think that's my friend Sedramon!" I hollered with joy.
"Wait, really?" replied Agumon.
"That Digimon does look familiar to me," answered Izzy's Tentomon.
Wizardmon and my Tentomon hovered above the water to get a closer look.
"You're right Sioku! It is Sedramon," called Tentomon.
Hearing that good news made me forget about Mira.
I was glad to see that one of my best Digimon friends had possibly returned to me.
Wizardmon grinned proudly as he approached me.
"This one might be the Sedramon you know," he said.
"I hope so," I replied quietly.
I carefully moved closer to the water.
"Hey Sedramon," I called out.
Sedramon lifted its head at the sound of my voice.
"You have his attention Sioku! Keep talking to him," my Tentomon said encouragingly.
"Thanks DigiDearest," I whispered back.
I took a deep breath.
"Come over here," I called again.
The serpent Digimon turned around and swam toward me while wagging its long tail.
I giggled at the sound of the waves his tail was creating.
"It's true! That Sedramon really recognizes you Sioku," Agumon cheered happily.
I couldn't help but smile back at Agumon as I sat down by the river.
My eyes widened in excitement as the serpent Digimon approached the water's edge.
Seeing Sedramon up close again sent a feeling of excitement coursing through my body.
To my surprise, Sedramon wrapped his tail around me.
My body was soaked in the process, but I didn't care.
"I knew you and Sedramon would meet again," said Wizardmon to me.
I grinned and hugged Sedramon tight.
"Oh Sedramon, I missed you so much. Thank you for coming back," I said softly.
Sedramon nuzzled into my chest in response.
In that moment, all of my bad thoughts about Julie and Mira were non existent.
I was finally free from their unpleasant voices.
"Wow, check it out you guys! This one really is her friend," cheered Sora.
"That's great," replied Tai.
I felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest.
"Hey Sioku, how did Sedramon know you were going to be here?" asked Mimi.
"Maybe it's their special bond that reunited them," answered Matt.
"Sioku is one of the kindest people I know. She has a good heart," added Ariel.
I gently stroked Sedramon's head as he rested peacefully in my embrace.
My mind fllashed back to our stay at the beach.
"Sedramon must have missed her a lot," said Palmon.
The serpent Digimon and I stayed in that position for as long as possible.
"We need to go Sioku," said Joe.
My face saddened as I looked down at Sedramon.
Tears threatened to sting my eyes.
I didn't want to say good bye to him again so soon.
"Hold on, I have an idea. We can ride Sedramon across the river," I suggested.
Sedramon nodded his head in agreement.
"That sounds like fun," replied Ariel.
"Palmon and I will go with you," added Mimi.
Sedramon slowly released me and prepared to transport the four of us.
"Thank you for the offer Sioku, but the rest of us can travel with our own Digimon," Matt said gratefully.
I smiled back at him in response.
"We should all meet up at the end of the river," said Sora.
"Good idea," replied Izzy.
"I'm coming with you big bro," said T.K.
"Gabumon, Digi-evolve to... Garurumon!" shouted Matt's Digimon as he transformed.
My Tentomon quickly landed and hid between Ariel and me while shivering in fear.
"Sioku, where did your Digimon just go?" asked Matt as he looked around.
"He's behind me," I answered quietly.
"Why is Tentomon hiding?" asked T.K. in a sad tone.
"Watching a Digimon Digi-evolve scares him," I answered while turning around.
Ariel sighed in disappointment as she knew exactly who caused him to be afraid.
My Tentomon was curled up against Ariel's side.
I gently pulled the frightened Digimon closer to me and embraced him.
"It's all right DigiDearest," I said soothingly.
Tentomon started to relax as I stared at him.
He then curled up on my chest and closed his eyes.
Sedramon looked at Tentomon with curiosity.
He didn't understand my Digimon's behavior.
"Tentomon is okay Sedramon," I assured.
Sedramon wagged his tail in response.
"We should probably go," said Matt.
Matt and his little brother then climbed onto the wolf's back and took off across the river.
Joe followed after him on Gomamon.
Mimi, Palmon, Ariel, and I climbed onto Sedramon's back and held onto him.
Hawkmon was perched on Ariel's shoulder.
"We'll meet you at the end," I called to the others.
"Same here Sioku," Tai called back.
Sedramon almost immediately pushed off.
We were splashed with cool water by Sedramon's tail as it swayed back and forth on the waves.
I grinned as I felt a rush of wind against my face.
"This water feels great," said Palmon.
"I agree," replied Mimi.
Back on land, Biyomon, Agumon, and Izzy's Tentomon Digi-evolved and flew into the air with their partners.
Ariel stared at all the fish swimming beside us.
"This river is beautiful," I said in admiration.
"Indeed it is; very peaceful as well," replied Hawkmon.
I let out a dreamy sigh at the sound of Hawkmon's voice.
"Please don't start daydreaming Sioku," said Ariel.
"Oh be quiet Ariel, I just can't help it. You know that," I replied playfully.
We eventually reached the other side of the river where everybody else had been waiting for us.
"Hello good people," I said as I gently slid off of the tired Sedramon's back.
Ariel, Mimi, and Palmon followed after me.
They then joined the rest of my friends.
"Hey girls," replied Tai.
The two other girls waited with the rest of my friends while I stayed beside Sedramon.
The poor Digimon looked exhausted.
Sedramon curled up on a rock in exhaustion.
"Thank you Sedramon," I said while rubbing his head.
The serpent Digimon closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep as I kept petting him softly.
All of my friends watched in amazement.
"I really hate to break you two up again Sioku, but we need to go now. Infinity Mountain is up ahead," Wizardmon said gently.
I nodded before giving Sedramon a hug.
"Take care Sedramon," I whispered.
Sedramon didn't move from his position on the rock.
I stood up carefully to prevent myself from startling him.
Without another word, I walked over to my friends.
"Welcome back Sioku," said Ariel.
"Thanks," I simply replied.
We then proceeded to walk away from the river.
"How are you feeling?" asked Izzy.
"I'm all right," I answered.
I stared sadly at Sedramon until he completely disappeared from my sight.
"You'll see him again Sioku," assured my Tentomon.
"I know DigiDearest," I replied with a sigh.
"Sioku, are you worried about something?" asked Wizardmon concerned.
I turned to the humanoid Digimon wearing a fearful expression and answered. "Yes, I'm afraid of Sedramon being alone and vulnerable while Mira is on the loose."
"I agree with you Sioku, he could end up being her next victim. I hope that doesn't happen though," replied Ariel.
I lowered my head at the heartbreaking thought.
Sedramon did not need to be in anymore pain.
That black gear already caused enough damage.
"We'll all be here to help Sedramon out if she goes anywhere near him," said Tai.
"That's right," agreed Sora.
"Mira's reign of terror must be stopped," added Izzy.
"You said it," replied T.K.
I started to relax knowing that everybody had my back.
"Thanks guys," I replied gratefully.
Izzy's map led us to a field near the base of Infinity Mountain.
My friends and I looked around in awe.
Infinity Mountain was covered in snow and ice.
"Wo, this mountain is huge!" exclaimed Tai.
"It's beautiful," I added quietly.
"You can say that again," replied Matt.
"Wow, the snow looks really pretty!" exclaimed Mimi.
She and Palmon stared at the snow in admiration.
"The snow is fun to play in," said Sora.
The Digimon looked at her confused.
"People can make snowballs and throw them at each other," informed Izzy.
"My sisters and I like to go sledding in the winter. Ariel comes with us sometimes," I chimed in.
Before we could proceed, Sora spotted a hot spring a few feet away from us.
"That thing looks like a guiser," Matt commented.
"I could really use a nice hot bath," said Mimi.
The water turned out to be much hotter as we approached the spring.
Steam rose from the surface.
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you guys. That water is boiling," warned Joe.
"Yeah, we'd be cooked for sure," added Izzy's Tentomon.
"There goes my dream of taking a proper bath in the digital world," complained Mimi.
Ariel gave the girl a dirty look.
Mimi pointed to a large object beside the hot spring.
"Speaking of cooking, there's a refridgerator nearby. I wonder what's inside of it," she said.
Sora carefully opened the door and looked inside.
"This fridge is full of eggs," she said happily.
"We all could use a meal," replied Tai.
"I'm getting hungry too," I added.
"Hold on guys, we shouldn't touch those eggs. They might be bad," Joe interrupted.
"Joe, quit being such a worry wart," said Matt.
"I'm trying to be cautious around here unlike the rest of you," Joe replied in annoyance.
Sora grabbed a few eggs from the fridge and started to cook them.
"Sunny side up eggs are my specialty," she said.
I listened to the conversation as everybody talked about how they like to eat their eggs.
~Time Skip to After Our Meal~
"We should go climb that mountain," said Tai.
"Really? Why?" asked Agumon.
"I want to see what's at the top," Tai answered.
"You're not going up there by yourself. I don't think any of us should go up there," Matt interrupted.
"Yeah Tai, we're a team," added T.K.
"But why not?" Tai questioned in annoyance.
"It's too dangerous," Matt answered with concern for his friend.
"I never said that I would go up there by myself. You just don't want to go up there because you're a big chicken," Tai argued.
"Take that back right now!" Matt yelled.
"Both of you knock it off! There is no need for a fight," interrupted Hawkmon sternly.
I smiled dreamily at the bird Digimon.
"Hey guys, I have an idea. We all could climb the mountain as a group tomorrow," I suggested.
"That's a great plan Sioku," replied Tai.
"I agree," added Izzy.
"It does sound like a cool adventure," Ariel chimed in.
Joe frowned as he walked away.
Gomamon quickly followed after him.
The sun was beginning to go down in the sky.
Luckily, there were a few caves ahead of us.
"It's getting late, and I'm tired. We should get some sleep," suggested Sora.
"I agree," responded Mimi.
"I feel like I could fall asleep at any time," I said with a yawn.
"There are some caves up ahead that we can sleep in tonight," replied Tai.
Tai happily led us into a nearby cave that looked big enough for everyone to fit in.
Joe decided to stay behind and continue looking at the tall snowy mountain.
He sat down on a big rock.
Gomamon sat down at his feet wearing a concerned expression and asked. "Hey Joe, are you okay?"
"I guess so," Joe answered with a sigh.
They decided to watch the sun as it began to set.
The clear sky soon became lit up with millions of sparkling stars.
"The sky looks really pretty tonight," said Gomamon as he stared upward.
"It does look nice," Joe replied.
Back inside the cave, Ariel and I settled in by the entrance with our Digimon.
Everybody else moved to the back.
Wizardmon looked down at Tentomon and then up at me.
"Hey Sioku, how is he doing?" the humanoid Digimon asked smoothly.
"He's all right," I answered quietly.
Tentomon remained still and opened his eyes.
"Hi DigiDearest," I said softly.
Ariel looked over at us and smiled.
"Hey Sioku, I'm glad to see your Digimon looking relaxed," she said happily.
"So am I," I whispered back.
Tentomon suddenly climbed onto my shoulder.
He stared intently outside the cave.
I was immediately surprised by his action.
"What's up DigiDearest?" I asked curiously.
"I thought I spotted an enemy," he answered.
"Only Joe and Gomamon are outside," I pointed out.
"You're right," Tentomon responded.
The ladybug-like Digimon climbed onto my chest and laid down.
I embraced my Digimon affectionately and held him close.
One by one, my friends began to fall asleep beside their Digimon partners.
Tentomon lay curled up on my chest.
I stared at him until I fell asleep.
Back outside the cave, Joe and Gomomon continued looking up at the beautiful star lit sky.
A half hour later, Joe looked at Gomamon as a thought crossed his mind.
"Hey Gomamon, I'm going to climb that mountain by myself," he said.
"Joe, are you sure? That doesn't sound like a good idea," the sea lion replied.
"Yes, I don't want to wait anymore. I'm sure the others will catch up to me tomorrow. I want to make sure the mountain is safe," Joe added.
"Oh all right, but you're not going without me. You and I are sticking together," Gomamon agreed reluctantly.
"No Gomamon, go back into the cave and get some sleep. I can handle this on my own," Joe said dismissively.
"Joe, that is not happening. I'll be there to protect you because I am your partner," Gomamon insisted.
"Whatever," Joe added with a huff.
Joe stood up with Gomamon following suit.
They snuck away from the cave and headed toward the base of Infinity Mountain.
Gomamon stayed ahead of Joe as they started to climb up the snowy mountain.
After an hour, they reached the summit.
"The air up here feels great," said Joe.
"I agree with you," replied Gomamon.
As they explored the new area, Gomamon spotted a unicorn-like Digimon galloping toward them.
"Who is that Digimon?" asked Joe.
"That's Unimon, he's usually very friendly. You don't have to worry," Gomamon assured.
"Before Joe could speak, he and Gomamon watched as a black gear fell down from the sky and embedded itself into Unimon's body.
Unimo started to act crazy and went after Gomamon.
Instead of fighting back, Joe and Gomamon fled for their safety and tried to hide.
The next morning, I woke up to the sunlight shining brightly through the cave's entrance.
Everybody else except Joe and Gomomon was still asleep.
Tentomon was curled up on my chest.
I stared at him with an adoring expression.
He still looked beautiful as ever.
I lay still and silent while waiting for my friends to wake up.
After some time had passed, my friends began to wake up one by one.
"Good morning Sioku," greeted Wizardmon.
"Same to you," I replied with a yawn.
My Tentomon opened his eyes and stared at me.
"Hello DigiDearest," I said softly.
"Good morning Sioku," the Digimon replied.
I held Tentomon close to me as I sat up.
The conversations began again as soon as everyone had woken up.
Tai suddenly approached Wizardmon and me wearing a frantic expression.
"Hey Tai, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Joe and Gomamon are missing from the group. We have to go find them," he answered.
"They probably ignored your advice and went up Infinity Mountain by themselves," I guessed.
"I think you're right," Tai said with a frown.
"Don't worry Tai, we'll find them. We should be going there soon," I assured.
"Hello Sioku, how is your Tentomon doing?" asked Hawkmon.
"He's doing really well," I answered.
My friends and I joined the others in a group by the cave's entrance.
Tai and Agumon led us out of the cave.
Before we could proceed any further, Izzy pulled up the map on his laptop.
"Infinity Mountain is straight ahead," he said.
"Let's go," replied Tai.
Ariel, Wizardmon, and I traveled in a smaller group behind the others.
We eventually reached the base of Infinity Mountain.
As my friends and I were climbing up, we heard a lot of commotion.
"What's going on?" asked Tai.
"I think Joe and Gomamon need our help," answered Agumon.
"We'd better hurry!" hollered Matt.
Tai and Agumon led the way as we ran straight to the top.
My friends and I got a closer look at the scene when we reached the summit.
"Joe and Gomamon are being attacked by a possessed Unimon! We need to destroy that black gear in his body," said Izzy.
"That's not good," replied Tai.
"Hold on everyone, I have an idea. Ariel and I can distract Unimon while the rest of you aim your attacks at the black gear," I suggested.
"Sioku, why do you want us to distract Unimon?" asked Ariel.
"Neither of our Digimon have Digi-evolved yet. You and I could get Unimon to chase us," I explained.
"That plan isn't bad," said Tai.
"Let's go for it," encouraged Izzy.
"Yeah, I really like Sioku's idea. It sounds clever," added Ariel.
Everybody else cheered in agreement.
All of the Digimon except my Tentomon and Hawkmon began to Digi-evolve.
"Agumon Digi-evolve to... Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digi-evolve to... Garurumon!"
Tentomon Digi-evolve to... Cabutarimon!"
"Palmon Digi-evolve to... Togamon!"
"Biiomon Digi-evolve to... Birdramon!"
My Tentomon nervously hid behind me while watching the Digi-evolution.
He hovered completely still in mid air.
"Tentomon, are you okay?" I asked smoothly.
"I'll be fine," my Digimon answered shakily.
"Are you sure?" Ariel chimed in.
"Watching Digi-evolution isn't as bad as actually doing it," my Tentomon answered with a sigh.
I can agree with that," said Hawkmon.
I pulled my Tentomon into an affectionate embrace.
"Oh DigiDearest, I am so proud of you. You're starting to conquer your fear without my assistance," I said with love.
"I have to start somewhere," Tentomon replied.
"Ariel, are you ready?" I asked while pointing to her.
"Let's do it Sioku," she answered with a determined expression.
Ariel and I ran circles around the top of the mountain with our Digimon flying after us.
Unimon shifted his attention away from Joe and Gomamon and started to chase the four of us.
"Super shocker!" hollered Tentomon as he zapped Unimon.
Hawkmon flung his feather at Unimon and shouted. "Feather strike!"
"Nice move Hawkmon," I praised with joy.
Right as Joe was about to run again, he lost his balance and started to fall.
Gomamon immediately raced to his rescue and began to evolve.
"Gomamon Digi-evolve to... Ikakumon!"
The huge walress-like Digimon jumped down and caught Joe in time.
Ariel and I lured Unimon into a corner and surrounded him.
All five evolved Digimon charged at Unimon from different directions while aiming their most powerful attacks at the black gear.
Ikakumon joined the fight by using his harpoon torpito attack.
The black gear was shattered into tiny pieces and vanished.
All six evolved Digimon reverted back to their rooky forms as soon as the battle was over.
My friends and I breathed a sigh of relief as we watched Unimon return to normal.
