Second chapter coming out of the oven, and now let's get to the comments :)
Thor94 - Indeed, it is a common fact for those who follow the anime since the first seasons, that the legendary pokémon are mostly lazy. I understand that this was done to exist plot, especially in the movies, however, it doesn't change the fact that Ash faced several crises that could destroy the world, being just a 10 year old boy. I intend to explore this a lot in this work, as it is not something often seen in pokémon fanfictions
Force Smuggler: I'm glad you liked it. I'm also a fan of Giratina, how could I not like a huge dragon that controls a dimension of its own, this is extremely OP. And Drew will be used in the story in a different way than usual. Everyone who writes anything involving advanceshipping treats the guy like a villain, but it doesn't have to be the same thing all the time. He's surprisingly a character with a lot of leeway, and I intend to take advantage of that.
Mighty Ranger - It will probably have between 15 and 30 chapters, as I said, I don't intend to extend too much. I won't answer the rest of your question as I consider it a possible spoiler.
ReadingBeta - It's going to be anything but a clichéd Ash 'Gary Stu' fanfic. Even though it's focused on romance, I intend to develop an interesting plot. And about my other fanfic, 'Pokémon: Anomalies', I'll continue it, and I should update soon. So unfortunately, I don't authorize publication on AO3 or Wattpad, I even uploaded this story on Wattpad.
Gearknight15 - Thanks, and don't worry, I'll keep the story alive.
UltimateCCC - That's kind of obvious :)
Enjoy the chapter, see you soon
A year has passed since Ash Ketchum fell into a coma. The best doctors money can buy have been trying to come up with an explanation for what really happened, but to no avail, and all they could do was put Ash in a state-of-the-art ICU to keep him alive with the help of gadgets.
Delia made Ash's room her new home, refusing to leave her son's side. Misty abandoned her role as Gym Leader on Cerulean and stayed with Delia to help her in whatever was needed.
As much as most of Ash's friends wanted to be present at the hospital, it was decided that a small number of people would have contact with Ash, for two reasons: first, it is a hospital, and many people in the same place pose a risk to the patient . But the main reason was because of what happened four days after Ash fell into a coma.
Flashback
Misty leaned against the wall next to Ash's room, out of breath from having to deal with journalists and onlookers intent on getting a photo or video of the bedridden boy. "Insensitive idiots! If they think they can get to Ash, they are sorely mistaken!"
"Pi?" Pikachu approached Misty, drawing the attention of the redhead who saw the yellow mouse with its ears down. Her heart sank when she saw Pikachu so sad.
Misty knelt down and picked up the Pokémon in her lap. "Oh Pikachu, I'm scared too. That stupid boy doesn't get tired of putting himself at risk, and when it finally seemed like he was at peace, this cursed disease left him in this state. I…I don't know what I'm going to do if something worse happens." For the first time Misty allowed herself to cry silently. For anyone who didn't know her, the redhead was a frightening and violent girl, but the reality is quite different and Pikachu knowing that, licked her cheek, eliciting a small laugh.
"Pika Pikapi." Pikachu said with a little cheery tone, Misty cocked her head to the side trying to decipher the message, and soon had an idea what the Electric Pokémon meant, as strange as that sounded.
"Heh, you're right Pikachu, Ash is stubborn as hell, he won't give in easily, I... I think I finally decided what I'm going to do." This time it was Pikachu who was confused.
"Pika?" Misty hugged Pikachu gently and spoke in a low tone. "When Ash wakes up, I'm going to do what I should have done a long time ago. I'm going to make him realize how I really feel or I'm going to hammer it into his head until it's obvious what I really want." A bead of sweat broke out on the back of Pikachu's neck, and he prayed to whatever deity took pity on Pikapi.
Misty is gentle, but she's still a female Pikapi, and Pikapi females are scary.
"Oh, so you like my baby? I'm glad my Ashy has such a lovely girl looking after him." Misty's face turned extremely red when she turned and saw Delia with a smirk.
The poor girl wanted to turn into a Diglet and dig a hole to hide. "Delia, I...I'm sorry, but...uh, can we just pretend I didn't say anything?" Delia's smile widened and Misty groaned in dismay.
"Calm down honey, it's perfectly normal to feel embarrassed about this kind of thing. Look, if you want to talk to me, I'm always available, and I won't force you to tell me anything. But can I ask you a question?" Delia's tone changed to something more serious, and Misty swallowed hard, nodding.
"What made you believe you love Ash?" The poor girl's face reddened again, but she knew she couldn't dodge such a question, and if she was Ash's mother, she could say what she really felt.
"I'm not going to lie, at first when I first met Ash I was very angry, he wrecked my bike and was rude to me, I know I was extremely rude too and after I calmed down I understood that he was desperate to save the Pikachu. But I started traveling with Ash to make sure he would pay for my bike, and then leave and never look him in the face again. I know, it sounds petty and selfish, doesn't it? I've always had this problem with misjudging people. But then, as time went by, I got to see Ash's true personality, and how could I not fall in love?" Delia was confused."
"I didn't know that Ash is so handsome, of course, I'm his mother and I will always think my baby is the most beautiful man in the world, but even I recognize that he is not ugly, but he is not extremely beautiful either." Misty laughed seeing Ash's mother being so frank, she could see where Ash got his personality from.
"Delia if I was only concerned with looks I would have gotten a boyfriend a LONG time ago, I don't want to sound arrogant but I've had my fair share of opportunities before, during and after traveling with Ash. What attracted me wasn't the looks, of course, Ash always had this cute face, but it was his actions that made me see him in a new light. Ash got himself into a lot of trouble that could have been avoided if he ignored someone in need, but he never did, hell I wouldn't judge him for being selfish once in a while. That sincere smile, the willingness to protect and the innocent heart, this is something I have never found in anyone, it was in that moment that I realized what I felt, and I was afraid."
Misty started to cry and Delia felt guilty for what the girl in front of her was feeling, and hugged the redhead gently. Pikachu jumped off Misty's lap and backed away to give her privacy. "I…I was so scared that something would happen to Ash, he kept getting into bigger and bigger problems, and he was always so naive that it made me scared to say what I felt and lose a friend, that's why that I stopped traveling and settled in Cerulean. I thought that would be enough to forget about him, but I was just fooling myself, and now I may never get the chance to talk to him again." Delia hugged tighter and gently rubbed the fragile girl's back.
"Calm down Misty, we both know Ash is stubborn and strong, we just need to have faith in him. I don't think you're selfish for being conflicted about how you felt, it just shows that you really care about my son. Can I tell you something? Misty nodded, leaning against the older woman's bust.
"Of all the traveling companions my Ashy has had, you're the only one who hasn't completely drifted away, and know that Ash values that very much. I don't know what will happen in the future, but if it's up to me, you have my blessing to try to win my airhead son." Misty gasped in embarrassment and pulled away from the hug, causing Delia to start giggling at the embarrassment of the girl before her.
Misty was feeling extremely relieved, she never said how she felt to anyone, not even her sisters, it felt like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders, and to hear from her friend's mother's mouth that she approves of a possible future relationship was the best news she received that day.
And of course, fate likes to play games and the tender moment was interrupted by screams that were coming from the end of the hall, where Pokémon League security guards were preventing people from getting close to the room where Ash is kept.
When Misty recognized the three people trying to get in, her blood boiled. "How dare these three bitches show up here?!"
Even Delia felt a shiver down her spine hearing such hatred in the voice of the girl she had just comforted, but when she recognized the source of such displeasure, she was also slightly irritated.
After all, it's not every day that some girls who called themselves 'friends' of Ash decided to show up just when his son is so fragile.
Five minutes before...
A limousine pulled up in front of Viridian General Hospital, drawing the attention of journalists and people who were trying to get any news on champion Ash Ketchum.
The chauffeur opened the door and three girls got out, eliciting sighs from the crowd, as it would take someone living under a rock not to recognize the two greatest coordinators of today, and another coordinator on meteoric rise through Hoenn.
May Maple was wearing her signature outfit. Green bandana, orange sleeveless shirt that extended to the beginning of her thighs, black leggings that went mid-thigh, black gloves, green fanny pack and a pair of orange sneakers. Although May hasn't changed her choice of travel clothes since leaving for Johto, her body has grown a lot, and her clothing didn't help to hide her 'gifts', not that she minded, as she had something much more important to do at the moment. than worrying about people looking at your body.
Dawn changed even less, continuing with the same outfit as Sinnoh, of course, a bigger version because she 'grew up' just like her friends, and even though the looks of men and even some women at her ass was uncomfortable, Dawn refused to change clothes because of it. The only noticeable change is that Sinnoh's coordinator ditched the white hat.
Serena ditched the red hat, letting her brown hair grow down to her waist, wearing her figure-flattering black tank top and red skirt, complete with a pair of black sneakers and long stockings, reaching mid-thigh.
The journalists tried to approach like moths to a bonfire, but May wasn't going to let anything stop her from finding Ash. She threw a Poké Ball in the air and Blaziken came out in all her glory.
"Blaziken, stop anyone from disturbing us, we're going to see Ash, he's in the hospital." Upon mentioning Pallet's trainer, Blaziken immediately found herself among the coordinators and journalists, and it only took a single look from the 'Princess of Hoenn' Ace to dissuade any foolish ideas.
The trio of coordinators entered the hospital without any resistance, however, when they went up to the second floor and tried to enter the ICU sector, they were stopped by security.
"Excuse me ladies, but entry is prohibited, only family members of Mr. Ketchum and authorized friends may visit." One of the security guards spoke to the coordinators, but his phrase seemed to have been misinterpreted.
Dawn walked over and grabbed the man by the collar, a sight that would have been comical if it weren't for the gravity of the situation, after all, a girl was intimidating a huge man.
"Listen here, I'm Ash's friend! We are all his friends and we want to visit him, now get out of our way!" Serena tried to calm the blue haired girl down before something worse happened.
"Dawn, cut it out, he's just doing his job, and by Arceus, we're in a hospital, it's extremely rude to be yelling when there are patients resting in rooms in this hallway." Dawn let go of the security guard's collar, but she was still extremely grumpy.
May acted differently, she didn't scream, but her tone was frighteningly cold. "I don't care what you're doing, much less who ordered us to stop. Let's go see Ash or I'll use force." Blaziken lit his fists and the man who was trying to be cordial before waved to the other security guards who had their Poké Balls in hand.
"This is a direct order from the top leadership of the Pokémon League committee, sanctioned by the governments of Alola and Kanto. Any attempt to get close to the Alola champion must be forcefully suppressed." Dawn picked up a Poké Ball and stood next to May with a look that showed all her anger.
"Are you threatening us?" Security didn't flinch, which is admirable considering the caliber of coordinators before him.
"I am just doing my duty. Men, prepare to contain the invaders, make sure the least amount of damage is inflicted on this building, we are in a corridor full of ICU rooms with patients in serious condition, lives are at stake!"
A battle that would be disastrous for many innocents was about to start when a certain redhead approached. "What the hell are you thinking?! This is a hospital and you're going to start a battle? Have they gone crazy?!" May recognized the voice and was relieved that this misunderstanding would finally be put to rest.
Going back to the present time...
"Misty! Please tell these men that we are Ash's friends, we've come to see him." May, Dawn, and Serena expected many different reactions, but the only one they didn't expect was the look of disgust.
Misty was furious. These bitches disappear for years, ditch Ash to get famous, and now they're back claiming they're his friend? How far can someone go to gain more fame?
"Don't you dare claim you're his friend." Misty said in a neutral tone, May was dumbfounded, and Serena flinched at the cold tone, she hadn't met Misty, but Ash had always spoken highly of her, but something felt terribly wrong.
Dawn was surprised by the hostility. "Damn Misty, what the hell got into you? Tell these guards that we are friends with Ash, we want to visit him."
"Over my damn corpse! Get out of here, leave us alone, none of you have the right to consider yourselves friends with Ash!" Something inside May snapped and she brushed aside the guards with surprising strength for a girl of her stature.
"Who do you think you are to stop me from seeing my friend?" May and Misty were about to lunge at each other when another voice interrupted any conflict.
"She is the only friend who has not abandoned my son. Now, could you explain to me why you decided to show up just when my baby is in a coma?" Delia stood beside Misty and crossed her arms, the Ketchum matriarch's cold gaze was something completely new to May, Dawn and Serena, who had always seen the cheerful and caring woman.
"Why are you saying we abandoned Ash? He is our friend, we would never do that." Dawn was confused and hurt by Delia's words, but in her heart of hearts, Dawn knew that Delia wasn't completely wrong.
"Don't be naive, how could I not be wary when three girls, who purposefully cut ties with my son, show up just when he is at his weakest?" Those words hurt the girls, and no one was as impacted as May.
Of the three coordinators, she was the one who traveled the longest with Ash, and the only one who had multiple chances to stay with him. Anger was replaced by deep guilt and shame, and then May did something no one expected.
She walked over to Delia and hung her head, fists clenched and tears streaming from her eyes. "Ash is my best friend, I owe everything I've achieved in my career to him, every day I regretted the decision to travel in other regions without Ash by my side, I... I was afraid of ruining our relationship. friendship. I was a foolish girl who didn't understand what I really felt until I lost the chance to be with the man I love. So please, even if you don't forgive me, give me the chance to see Ash at least once!" No one expected the impending conflict to escalate to anything like this. Delia opened and closed her mouth a few times in shock, and after taking a deep breath, she looked at the other coordinators.
"Dawn, Serena, I'm only going to ask you once. Do you also have an interest in my son?" Dawn nodded.
"Delia, the question should be 'what's not to like about Ash'. He's never done anything with malicious intent, he's always helped me in my times of trouble since we met, and he's saved me so many times I can't even count. It hurt a lot not to travel with him, but if I had followed Ash again, I wouldn't have been able to wait for him to take action. I was very hurt as I believed he didn't see me the same way, and now I might miss the chance to get the answer one day, I need to see him, and for the first time be a helpful friend, not a girl who needs to be saves." Serena was crying silently, and Dawn held her, patting her back and trying to comfort the blonde.
Between sobs, Serena began to speak. "I was a coward, when I found out that Ash almost died in Kalos, I didn't have the courage to see him because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to control myself, since when I visited pallet in my childhood, Ash was present in my mind, I never had doubts that I love your son, but it's hard to admit this to him, and now my cowardice can cost eternal regret. I will do anything if I can be by his side, please let me visit him."
Misty was silent, what she feared the most happened, and found out firsthand that more girls love Ash, not that it was a surprise, it would be strange if no one fell for that dense asshole. And how could she stay mad? Had she done the same, embracing the responsibility of leading the Cerulean Gym, just to get away from her own feelings?
Delia put a hand to her forehead and shook her head. Only the Ketchum family can provide such awkward and awkward moments. "I'm getting too old for this. You three, follow me, I'll take you to Ash's room. Don't make me regret it, or I swear by Arceus you'll never have the chance to speak to my baby again." Delia started to walk away, leaving three coordinators and a gym leader in disbelief.
Gradually, May, Dawn and Serena recovered and went to the room in large strides, however, when May passed by Misty, the redhead grabbed the arm of the Hoenn coordinator.
"Dawn and Serena I can forgive, they both had reason to be afraid, but you, I won't accept it. I won't lose to you, he deserves better." Misty let go of her arm and followed the women without looking back. May followed the redhead with her eyes and clenched her fist.
"Bring out your worst, nothing will stop me from righting the biggest mistake of my life." May tightened the knot on her bandanna and followed the redhead towards Ash's room.
And when they arrived at the scene, they were heartbroken.
Lying on the bed was Ash Ketchum, once a cheerful and energetic young man, strapped to equipment that was forcing his organs to work, keeping him alive with a heartbeat sensor signaling that he was still among the world of the living.
Since then, there have never been any fights, and although the girls were aware that they would fight for the same man's attention, they understood that first and foremost, Ash's health comes first.
Or they would all regret it forever, without exception.
End of Flashback
Around eight o'clock in the morning, May entered the room where Ash is bedridden, as it was her day to watch over him. Delia decided that each of the girls would accompany Ash, taking turns with each new day.
May, Dawn, and Serena have indefinitely withdrawn from competing on the professional Pokémon Contest circuit, which has shocked people across the world. None of them gave interviews, and with tight security at the Viridian hospital, not a single journalist got anything compromising.
Misty couldn't relinquish her duties at the Cerulean Gym, but was able to travel to Viridian when it was her turn to look after Ash, thanks to her sisters, who surprisingly didn't complain about taking over the Gym when Misty was away from Cerulean City.
A nurse came out of Ash's room after checking his vitals, greeting May, who didn't even notice, her attention was exclusively on the bedridden man. Slowly she approached and stood in front of Ash.
Being trapped in bed for so many months was horrible for the physique, what was once a healthy young man became someone with thin and atrophied muscles. As the months went by, Ash's health condition stabilized, and he no longer needed to use breathing aids. Ash's hair was much longer than it had been before the coma, cascading down the sides of his head. May took one of the locks of hair that were on his face with her hand, and stroked his head.
"It's been a year Ash since you entered this slumber, so much has happened since then. I regret so much having stayed away all these years, in search of a dream, which, although I achieved it, does not seem to be anything that I really imagined. I would trade it all if I could see you wake up." May leaned over and kissed Ash's forehead, before sitting down next to him and taking one of his thin, lean hands, a fraction of what they once were.
Meanwhile, in the Reverse World...
Ash was floating in an immensity full of small pieces of earth and crystals, the sky had a purple hue.
His memories are confused, small lapses of events experienced in the past entered and left his mind at random, leaving him with a mixture of fear and intrigue.
The notion of time didn't exist in that place, Ash knows he's been wandering for a long time, but he doesn't know how much time has really passed since he woke up in this place.
It was at that moment that a creature appeared in a vortex in the middle of the sky, Ash recognized who the creature was. "Giratina? What he is doing?" The huge legendary pokémon adjusted its flight and hovered in front of Ash, and even though the rational reaction of being afraid was perfectly understandable, it wasn't what happened.
"Ash, I finally got to talk to you." Giratina's tone was surprisingly calm.
Confusion was all the pokémon trainer felt at that moment. "Hi Giratina, it's been a long time since I've seen you, not that I'm bothered, but can you explain to me what's going on? Flying around might sound cool, but I miss the good old ground." The attempt at a joke did not go unnoticed, eliciting a small smile from the huge dragon.
"We are in Reverse World, my domain. As for why you're here, it's my fault." Ash cocked his head in confusion. Giratina is many things, but it's not evil, it knows firsthand that the Pokemon in front of it is just misunderstood.
"What happened?" Ash's cautious tone made Giratina proud of the boy before him. She didn't have an ounce of distrust in Ash's words, but he had the wit that comes with experiencing countless events considered impossible.
The ghost dragon's laughter echoed through the vastness of the Reverse World. "Who knew you would turn into someone smart, you don't even look like that reckless boy I knew." An indignant squeal from Ash amused Giratina. "As much as I love to have fun, I'm afraid I can't continue the lighthearted conversation. Ash, you've been in a coma for over an Earth year."
The news made Ash's eyes widen, his breathing quicken, and he began to shake. The scene of her friend so fragile made Giratina once again curse Arceus's machinations, it wasn't fair what happened.
"I will wake up? Or am I stuck here forever?" The fear was genuine, after playing with his luck so many times, this could be the time he had reached the limit.
"Don't worry, you'll wake up after our conversation is over. Ash, you fell into a coma because of me. What I will reveal to you is something that must be kept between us. We both know that you hold the title of 'Chosen One', the one responsible for keeping the world in balance. But my legendary brothers do nothing to help, and prefer to watch as a single human risks himself countless times. Ash, I can't give you all the details right now, but just know that you're free. Live as you please, without worrying about the responsibility of protecting the world, I will not let your altruism be abused again." Ash was silent absorbing Giratina's words. And before he could ask anything, his vision started to darken.
"What is happening?" The fear was genuine, but Giratina calmed it.
"Don't worry, you're waking up. And remember kid, enjoy your life, it's one of a kind. And if you want advice from someone who has outlived the entire human species, be careful with the attention you get, after all, there's nothing stopping you from finding your mates." The last thing Ash saw was Giratina laughing like a maniac, and for some reason, Ash wanted to curse at the massive dragon before him.
Slowly, Ash opened his eyes and saw a white ceiling. The light from the window made his eyes burn, and instinctively made him try to cover his face with one hand, however, when he tried to raise his arm, he was not very successful, as he had no strength. As he tried to speak, his throat flared, and all Ash managed to get out was a mutter.
May was holding Ash's hands when she felt a slight contraction, and when she looked at her friend's face, she lost her breath, because Ash had his eyes open, trying to say something. The brunette started to cry at what she was seeing, and with trembling hands, she cupped his face.
"Ash…please, let this not be a dream. Are you finally awake?" May leaned over to look into Ash's face and heard him mumbling something, and when she finally deciphered the word, her suspicions became real.
Blue light enveloped Ash's body, and slowly his muscles began to bulge. May can do nothing but watch as the man before her regains a healthy appearance in what could be considered a true miracle. Before long Ash was back to full health. Slowly he sat up and started looking around the room in confusion, and when he realized who was holding his hand, he cocked his head in confusion.
"May? What are you doing here? I haven't seen you in years." May started to sob and tears rolled from her eyes, Ash was going to ask what was going on, but he was hit by a human missile in the shape of a coordinator that he knows very well.
"Ash! I've waited so long to see you wake up, I'm sorry for not being in touch for so many years, I swear I'll never leave you alone again." Ash didn't understand why he was so worried, of course, he was in a coma, if what Giratina said is true, which justifies the needles stuck in the veins of his right arm, but why is May apologizing?
Ash tried to pull away from the hug, but May held on tighter. "Hey, May, no need to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong, but I'm glad to see you again, it's been many years since I last spoke to you." Ash's words made May pull away from the hug, her eyes swollen, red and her face slightly red. For the first time Ash could see his old friend more calmly, and he blushed with embarrassment, because the girl he last saw in the Wallace Cup in Sinnoh had transformed into a beautiful woman. "Wow, time has been so good to you May, you were already a beautiful girl when we traveled together, but now, you are without a doubt one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen." Ash scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.
The temperamental redhead hit him with her infamous hammer, because he didn't have the sense to compliment a woman's appearance. And while May isn't quite as violent as Misty, she packs a particularly painful punch.
May opened her mouth in shock at what Ash said. At no point during his journey through Hoenn and Kanto did Ash consciously compliment her appearance, and now he wakes up from his coma and admits that he saw her as a beautiful girl, and a beautiful woman as well. May's face turned extremely red, and she started babbling indescribable words.
It was at this moment that some nurses and a doctor entered the room, and when they saw Ash awake, they immediately started a series of exams to check his health status.
The recovery of muscle mass was received with absolute amazement, so much so that the doctor did not find any plausible justification. It was the closest thing to a miracle he had seen in countless years in the profession.
"We have not been introduced, I am Dr. Mark Stevensson, and I've looked after you since you were admitted to the hospital a little over a year ago. I performed several tests after he woke up from the coma, and I did not find any sequelae or muscle damage, which is surprising. Patients who are in a coma for several months have reduced muscle mass, and this happened to you, but for some reason, your muscles returned to healthy condition by the time you woke up. I have no way of explaining what happened, and although all the tests tell me you are fit to be released from the hospital, I will keep you under observation for 12 hours." Ash moaned despondently, he hates hospitals, and after so many exams, he got impatient.
"If I'm fine, why can't I go home?" The doctor didn't seem bothered by the question, it's one of the normal reactions of recovering patients.
doctor Mark put a hand on Ash's shoulder. "The first hours of someone waking up from a coma are crucial to assess the health condition. I don't want to take any risks." The doctor looked at May who had been silent since the exams began. "Ms. Maple, patient Ketchum needs someone who will stay with him until he is released from the hospital. Normally I would contact the family, but since you have authorization from the patient's hand, I'd like to know if you'll be staying as a companion, if the Ketchum patient objects, please don't hesitate to let me know." Ash looked at the doctor, then at May and shrugged.
"If May doesn't mind staying with me, I'd like to have her as my date. I trust her." doctor Mark looked at May, who nodded. After some more questions from the doctor, he left with the nurses, leaving Ash and May alone.
Ash scratched the back of his head. "I'm sorry for asking you to stay with me for so long, but I don't want to bother my mother, if you want to leave I..." Ash was interrupted by May, who started laughing.
"I would never be bothered, quite the contrary. I'm glad to see you awake." May placed a hand on Ash's face, leaving the poor guy unsure how to react to the exaggerated display of affection.
They were both silent, enjoying the unexpectedly pleasurable moment, until 'nature' called out to Ash. He tried to get up, surprising May, however, when Ash put his second foot on the ground, he lost strength and almost fell to the ground.
May took him by the shoulder and with great difficulty helped him lean against her. "Ash! Don't try to walk alone, you've been lying down for a year, what's so important to make you want to walk alone?
Ash started to blush with embarrassment. "I need to go to the bathroom." Both were stuck in an uncomfortable dilemma. Ash needs to go to the bathroom, and while May wants to help him, he can't deny the fact that she is a woman walking into the bathroom with a man.
Noticing her friend's discomfort, Ash tried to comfort her. "Relax, I can do this myself. Don't worry." Ash let go of May and slowly started to walk towards the bathroom door, however, when he was about to grab the doorknob, he lost his balance and started to fall.
May ran towards him and grabbed him. Ash looked at her in surprise, and May looked away, her face flushed. "N...don't worry about it, let's go to the bathroom right away." Ash wanted to dissuade her, but he needed to go soon, or he would have an even more embarrassing moment to deal with.
They both walked into the bathroom, and May grabbed Ash, hugging him from behind and looking away as Ash relieved himself. This was officially the most embarrassing moment in the coordinator's life.
Ash, on the other hand, felt like he was in heaven as he relieved himself. "Ah, I needed this so much, it's the little things in life that are worth it." Ash raised an arm, and his face turned purple from the odor that arose. "Oh, I stink like a Taurus ass, I need to take a shower." He tried to go to the shower, but remembered a very important fact.
May was holding him from behind. He thought of a solution and saw an adapted wheelchair leaning next to the key ring. "May, take me to that wheelchair, I'm going to take a shower, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable." May was outraged.
"And why should I be indignant?!" Ash shivered at the sound of May's angry voice, he had forgotten that she was scary when provoked.
"Well... I'm going to need to undress to take a shower, and you're a girl..." May blushed like a tomato when she realized the reason for the discomfort, but she also blushed when she imagined Ash without clothes. Slowly, a goofy smile appeared on the brunette's face, and Ash felt a shiver down his spine, without even knowing why.
Coming back to reality, May shook her head and helped Ash into the wheelchair and led him into the shower. "Thanks May, I shout if I need your help." May nodded and turned to get out of the shower, embarrassed at herself for even thinking about getting in the shower with Ash. A realization horrified her. "Am I a pervert?" May whispered.
"Did you say something?" Ash yelled from the shower, making May jump in fright.
"No!" She ran and closed the bathroom door. What she didn't expect was to be received by a nurse. "Ms. Maple, where is patient Ketchum?"
May scratched the back of her neck, similar to what Ash often does when he's embarrassed. "He is taking a shower, we found an adapted wheelchair and he is using it."
"Oh, next time don't hesitate to ask for help, I'll help the patient, make yourself comfortable and wait for us." The nurse walked into the bathroom, May raised her hand to say something, but the words died on her lips. Shame was replaced by regret and jealousy.
For the nurse will see Ash in a way that May wants, even if she denies it to herself.
Apparently May Maple is a pervert, even if she denies the fact. Unfortunately for Ash, he doesn't have someone to control his friend, unlike Brock in his younger years.
Arceus' order for the legendaries to assume their responsibilities was issued to the four corners of the world. And while most legends agreed, some found the reasons Arceus used to justify such a decision absurd.
Among them, a dragon roared through the planet's ozone layer. "How dare he! Doesn't Giratina have the right to question Arceus' decisions, and all that for a miserable human? He should feel honored to have the privilege of serving us.
Rayquaza personally met the human who holds the title of 'chosen one' of the current generation, and while he recognizes that he is worthy of the title, he could not admit that so many changes occurred for a single human.
"This cannot be allowed, I will not let Giratina do as it pleases, Ash Ketchum has his life permanently bound to the planet, and must obey us without question!" The skies over Hoenn briefly darkened and the sounds of thunder could be mistaken for the roar of a great beast.
What people and Pokémon in the land of Hoenn did not understand was that it was really the roar of a beast, a jade dragon that would go in search of what it believes is rightfully its.
"I will destroy everything that is preventing the 'chosen one' from performing his duty to the world, and if even Ash is corrupted by futile things like love and other feelings, I will purge him. We can always create a new chosen one, no human is irreplaceable, not even someone as unusual as the last of the Ketchum bloodline."
Rayquaza flew through the skies, towards the Kanto region.
Second chapter delivered. Honestly, it would take me a long time to update the story as I'm working on so many different works at the same time.
However, as I had an outline, I decided to go ahead and post this chapter.
As you can see, the story will have its darkest moments, even if it is focused on romance and adventure.
I hope you enjoyed it, see you soon in the next chapter of Call of Silence.
