Wooly and Amanda are pulled out of the portal into an area they don't recognize. They land on their backs. Wooly gets up and dusts himself off.
"Amanda, are you okay?" Wooly asked, reaching his hand out to her. He helps her get up and Amanda dusts herself off. She takes a moment to observe her surroundings. They were in a forest, and there were tents set up and a statue in the middle of everything. It was shaped like the lamb that they encountered earlier.
"Amanda…I don't think we're in the campsite anymore" Wooly said. He looks around and sees other animals conversing, dancing, and praying to the lamb statue. Did the lamb from earlier run this place?
Speaking of that lamb, they ran to Wooly and Amanda, being greeted by the other animals.
"My lord, are these new recruits?" A pig asked.
"Yep" The Lamb says.
"Recruits?" Wooly said.
"Oh, allow me to explain," The Lamb said. "Welcome to Milk Lair, we are a dedicated group of people who devote our lives to the almighty Lamb, aka me"
"A group of dedicated followers who worship you and only you?" Amanda said. She turns to face the camera. "Do you know what that's called?"
CULT
"That's right, we just ran into a cult!" Amanda said. Wooly gulps.
"A cult?!" Wooly said. "We need to get out of here Amanda. Suddenly, I don't feel here safe here"
"What?!" Lamb says. "You can't go home!"
"Why not?" Amanda asked.
"Because your home is gone," Lamb said. "The gods have found out that not all the sheeps were killed and now they're after your friend"
"What do they want from Wooly?" Amanda asks.
"They want him dead!"
Wooly and Amanda gasp.
"They can't kill Wooly!" Amanda said. "He's the only friend I have. And I'm the only one allowed to kill Wooly"
"Yeah!" Wooly said. "Wait, what-"
"Oh, I never got your name," Lamb said.
"I'm Amanda!" Amanda says.
"And I'm Wooly, but you already knew that," Wooly said.
"Nice to meet you Amanda, and Wooly" Lamb says. "My name is Lambert, but you can call me Lamby or Lamb. I am the leader of the Milk Lair and if you join us, we'll offer you the best hospitality there is"
"I don't think we need a hospital right now," Amanda said.
"Amanda, that's not what Hospitality means" Wooly said. "I think we're okay. It's nice to meet another one of my kind but we really need to go home"
"How about we make a deal?" Lambert says. "You join our cult- I mean family, and I will help you get home."
"The leader makes the best grass meal this side of the forest" A rabbit speaks up.
"Grass?!" Wooly said.
"You shouldn't be afraid to try new things, Wooly" Amanda said.
"Last time we tried new things, I almost died," Wooly said, gesturing to his Epipen in his other hand.
"Oh don't be such a Debby Downer Wooly" Amanda said.
"Yeah Wooly, stop being such a Debby Downer" Lamb jokes. Everyone laughs and Wooly groans.
"So, what do you say?" Lamb says, reaching out his hand. Wooly hesitates for a bit.
"Come on Wooly" Amanda said. "They're a sheep just like you. Uh, what are your pronouns by the way?"
"Doesn't matter," Lamb said. "But I usually go by they/them. Makes me feel like an immortal being"
"Well, okay" Wooly said. "But I'm only doing it for Amanda"
Wooly takes Lamb's hand. Lamb's eyes grow white as Amanda and Wooly start levitating again.
"Please don't take us into any more portals" Wooly said. A bright light engulfs Wooly and Amanda and when it subsides, the two were wearing red robes.
"Look Wooly, we got matching outfits!" Amanda said. She twirls around in her red robe. The two were dropped down back onto the floor.
"Now then, come with me," Lamb says. "We have a sermon to do"
The three walk into a church where the other cult members follow.
"Everyone, I would like you to meet Amanda and Wooly, the newest members of our family," Lamb says. Everyone cheers.
"Wooly is a sheep, just like you my leader" A deer said.
"Exactly, which is why I am appointing him as my assistant" Lamb says. "Sorry, James"
"OH COME ON!" A dog in the audience yells.
"Assistant?" Wooly says. "What do they do?"
"They assist me in running this place and assist me in dungeons" Lamb said. "You know how to fight right?"
Wooly shakes his hand. Everyone cheers.
"Now then, why don't we teach these two how we welcome new members?" Lamb says. Everyone suddenly puts on their hoodie and forms a circle around Amanda and Wooly. Everyone starts humming and dancing around them, even the lamb.
"This is freaking me out," Wooly says. He turns to Amanda, who is dancing with the others.
"Amanda?!" Wooly says.
"Come on Wooly, dance with me!" Amanda says. She takes Wooly's hand and makes Wooly dance with her. Soon, everyone was dancing around the circle.
After an hour of dancing, Lamb speaks up.
"Now then, why don't I go fix up a place for Amanda and Wooly to rest" Lamb says. "Kelsey, Vicky, prepare the lumber"
Time Skip to night time where the Lamb has finished setting up the shelter for Amanda and Wooly. Amanda yawns.
"I'm sleepy. Is our bed ready yet?" Amanda says.
"Yep," Lamb said. "I made sure to make it extra comfortable for our new-"
Amanda runs into the tent and passes out on the bed.
"...Members," Lamb said. "Are you going to bed too?"
"No, I think I'll stay up for a bit," Wooly says. He walks over to the campfire nearby and sits down, hugging his knees. Lamb walks over and sits down next to him.
"What's wrong?" Lamb says.
"I don't know," Wooly said. "This is all so new to me. I'm so scared. Those people might still be looking for me and Amanda. Also they were talking about gods and other beings. If it hadn't been to you, I would've witnessed my best friend die in front of me. Or worse"
"What could be worse than watching your friend die?" Lamb asks, trying not to sound rude.
"You don't know Amanda the way I do," Wooly says. "If she gets too stressed she… well, I don't think you would understand if I told you"
"Does she get mad?" Lamb said. Wooly nods.
"Really mad"
The Lamb nods and sighs.
"Wooly?" Lamb asks. "Do you ever wonder why those people are after you in the first place?"
"I don't know," Wooly says. "It has to do with those gods right?"
"Well" Lamb says. "There is a prophecy than one day a lamb will destroy the old relics. Which is why the gods have order for all lambs and sheeps to be executed"
Wooly gasps.
"I was the last one to die but suddenly I was given this crown by The One Who Waits. They offered me power in exchange for making a cult in their name." Lamb said. He points to his crown. "Recently, the relics have found out about the multiverse"
"Oh god not another Marvel Movie" Wooly said. "I still haven't seen Doctor Strange"
"But the multiverse is a real thing, not from a movie," Lamb says. "And they fear that one day, a lamb would cross the multiverse and destroy the old relics. So they created a magic box able to travel to any universe and they are using this box to kill every sheep and lamb in the multiverse."
"Every sheep and lamb?!" Wooly says. "So that's why they were after me"
"Don't worry," Lamb says. "As leader, I will make sure you and your friend will be safe. That's a promise"
"Thank you. That's reassuring" Wooly said. "You know, you aren't so bad Lamb"
"Neither are you, " Lamb said. "It's nice to see another sheep in so long"
"Me too," Wooly says. Lamb gets up from where he was sitting.
"Well I need to go dungeon diving," Lamb said. Wooly stands up.
"Yeah, I need to go to the shelter," Wooly says. "Amanda has nightmares in the middle of the night and I need to be there to comfort her when that happens"
"You're a good friend, Wooly," Lamb said.
"Thanks, I do my best," Wooly says. The two say their goodbye and Lamb leaves for the dungeon. Wooly walks to the shelter and lays down in bed. He stares at the ceiling, coming to terms that this was his new life and his old life was forever changed. He was also worried for Amanda, as she does not handle big changes very well. She almost snapped when those people were sacrificing her. He could see the wool growing on her eyes. And he knows what happens if Amanda snaps.
Wooly's eyes grew heavy as he began to drift asleep. Amanda holds Wooly close to her as if he was a teddy bear and the two fall asleep, the night going on without another incident.
