"What time is it? What day is it? How long has it been?" Were constant thoughts running through Corva's mind as he passed through the depths of pleasure and pain. While Doane would rarely strike or beat him, Guantla on the other hand used him for training himself for combat techniques and seeing which hits caused the most pain or did the most damage. The blows Guantla would give him would have killed Corva by now if not for the remedies of the Dark Eldar even though they caused severe pain and if not for Doane they would never be used on him. Corva was certain she did this to make him suffer for the rest of his life.
Finally one day Doane entered the room with a smile on her face and a large mirror in her hands before placing it in the corner of the room and skipped over to Corva who was chained to the floor. "Well look at how you've grown she said with a sadistic smile. "I could tell you how long it's been since we brought you her but I'd rather show you." She said with a smile before removing his shackles and leading him to the mirror. As he stood before the mirror he could see his hair now hung down to his shoulders even though his facial hair had not grown most likely due to the Dark Eldar medicines. Even with the lack of a proper diet and being beaten almost every day his body had grown very tone and muscular making him almost gasp with surprise. He was much taller than he used to be and thought it must have been quite some time.
"So can you guess? Come on, guess!" She said with almost childish glee but Corva was just silent. He walked closer and closer to the mirror before leaning in to get a better look at his new face. Doane was almost confused with how he was acting and then decided to tell him the truth. "Well as you told me you were sixteen when I caught you." She said as she leaned in close. "Happy twentieth birthday my pet." She said with a giggle as she grabbed onto him and nuzzled int Corva's back. Corva on the other hand was in a state of shock and kept feeling his face to see if it was real.
Doane waited for his response but was beginning to become more and more confused. She didn't understand how Corva was feeling and remembered when she first peered into a mirror and could only feel joy at what she saw. "Do...Do you not like it?" She asked timidly as she released Corva and looked at his back but he just remained silent. She waited as her confusion became stronger and stronger causing her to become somewhat emotional as tears began to ride down her cheeks as she just continued to peer at his back. She then turned away and stormed off out of the room slamming the door behind her as Corva turned towards the noise with tears rolling down his own cheeks. "Four year... It's been four years?" He said still in shock as he slumped down to the floor.
He remained there silently before the door suddenly burst open again but were he expected to see Guantla coming through, instead there was a very tall woman, a Dark Eldar. She immediately walked up to the slumped form of Corva and dug her claws into his shoulder before pulling him up and easily held him up off the ground. The pain barely registered of her claws dug into his shoulders as the confusion as to whats going on was far worse. "Wh...who are you?" He stuttered out as the woman slammed him into one of the walls.
"To think how long we have known one another and you still can't remember my touch or my fist. However you are just a stupid monkey. I am Gauntla, am I so different without my armor?" She asked with an emotionless voice as she dug her claws in deeper causing Corva to let out a scream of pain. "Now lets start with it. What did you do to make her cry... what did you do to make my sister cry?" She asked before digging her claws in even deeper and then dropped him to the floor. He was stunned both by the pain and the fact that Guantla, the seven foot tall monster of a man was actually a woman this whole time.
"Speak!" She shouted at him before pushing him up against the wall with her boot heel dug into his fresh wound causing him to grunt. "Sh...She just had me loo...look at a mirror and then...then.." He stuttered out before she removed her heel as almost he had said something right to make her understand the situation. "I see stupid monkey. You stay there and I will come back." She than walked out the room and closed the door behind her. Corva was once again confused to the situation and slowly stood up before walking to the door and pressing his ear against it to see if her could hear what was going on but there words just came out as a muffle.
He realized that this may have been the first time since his first day here that his bindings were released and he had free reign of the home of his captors. He looked back and moved to the Cabinet that the music box was on and decided to see if anything else of interest was about and saw a number of ancient trinkets of human make but notice what appeared to be a picture from face down that he did not notice before. He took the picture in his hand and turned it so he could take a look and was surprised at what he found. It was the picture of a man, a human man, a man that looked quite similar to what he had just seen in the mirror and on his lap was a girl, A dark Eldar child. "Whats...whats this?" He asked now even more confuse then he was before.
His shock kept him from noticing the sound of a raider slowly approaching the balcony but the sound, similar to a gunshot broke the silence of the room as a blade flew through the room and lodged itself into the door locking it from the inside. Corva looked about and ran to the door in an attempt to open it but froze as he heard a foot fall upon the balcony of the home. He slowly turned as poundijng from the other side of the door could be heard and Doane could be easily heard yelling.
The figure on the balcony was bedecked in black armor with red trim and was about as tall as Doane. They slowly walked into the room before pulling there helmet off revealing there yellow eyes and filed teeth. Though Corva could not remember the name he easily remembered his face. "So pet of Doane... Im here to rescue you." Kaival said with a cackle before moving with lightning speed and pinning him up against the wall. "Good condition for a slave. What has she been doing with you?" He asked before throwing him to the ground and began to drag him to the raider outside. Corva tried his best but the unnatural strength of the dark Eldar made him feel like a child. As he was tossed onto the deck of the raider two warriors quickly bound him to the deck and they were off.
"So my lord." The Incubi that was with Kaival when they first met asked before kicking Corva in the face knocking him to the ground but oddly enough it did not hurt him and Corva raised up with a defiant burn in his eyes. "What will we do with this one?" He said using his blade to point at Corva. Kaival looked Corva over for a moment as he tried to decide what to do and came up with an idea. "Well it wouldn't be fair to just kill him so lets sell him off. I know the arena has been looking for some fresh meat." He said causing the warriors on the deck to laugh as they turned to make way to the arena.
