"The weight?..." Corva spoke aloud as he looked over the mechanical hand the large ork Gorock had just given him and took i9n every little detail. "It's so big but it... it weighs almost nothing! As if it...as if it belongs." He exclaimed almost excited at this machine. He didnt understand it but it was most definitely an ork device so why did it weigh so little? Especially when it was made by an ork the size of Gorock who was even big among other orks. "What is this made of?..." He asked before pausing at the site of some odd tubes filled with some form of fluid that seamed to be his own blood but there was an odd black substance moving along with the flow. "The hell is that?..." he asked as he looked at the tubes filtering the black substance out of his own blood and filling the tubes with it.
"Oye dont touch 'dat!" Gorock exclaimed angrily as he took the young humans wrist into his large hand. "Dem pointy eared weirdos put somethin in ya and it was killing ya. If it wasn't for dat weird tubes yee would be dead right now, it allowed yee to survive that fight 'ya but this black stuff was still goin, it was makin your blood flow to quick and your weak little humie heart would of blown and though I would have enjoyed 'dat in da end you the only boy worth a damn I have."
"Wait but how?..." Corva sputtered out before the tubes were completely filled with the black fluid and the blood was put into his body again. "How did you know that?... How did you know what was wrong with me?" Corva didn't understand how an ork, a race of creatures he was always taught were brutish and moronic in nature could have any form of medical knowledge about humans at all. "how did you even get me to use this right?" he asked as he moved the hand about as if it was his own with no problems at all. "Doesn't it need to be... I don't know attached to my nerves or..."
He was silenced by Gorocks cackle as he pat Corva hard on the back. "Its cause im an Ork! Nothin meaner and nothin more kunnin that this old doc ya hear me ya lazy grot?!" He bellowed out as the Orks had always been known for creations working without any reason for them to work. There creations could work simply because they said so. "I used ta be da Doc for ma old boss... what was dat guys name again?" Gorock said scratching his head. "And I've seen dat stuff before, Dey put it into a group of grots chow. Da little buggers made me proud in da ring but then they all popped afterwards." Gorock laughed at the memory of the Grots exploding from the dark eldar Drug.
Corva was finding anything the ork told him hard to believe but then sighed as the thought came through his head. "Because hes an ork, that'll be my only reason for why this works... am I going crazy now?"he said with a laugh which felt odd. "How long has it been since ive laughed?" he thought to himself as he stood up and walked to his bed on the other side of the room and saw that he couldnt remove the tubes so what was it for he though.
""Its great right grot?" Gorock said as he walked over to Corva and pointed at a band around his wrist. "Just turn dat and you can go crazy again. It should be handy in a fight." Gorock said happily as he looked about and began to tinker on some more of the dark eldar tech he ripped from the walls. The material was light weight and upon closer inspection was what Corva's new hand was made of. The only thing Corva could do now though was to sleep, so he laid down and rested his eyes before drifting into slumber.
Meanwhile inside of Doanes home she looked about the place and could only feel empty as there was no longer a Corva inside of it. She just stood there looking about in silence as memories of her human pet flew through her mind causing a tear to stream down her cheeks before she let out a scream and began to throw the contents of the room about and she just tore the room to pieces until she found herself sitting in a pile of her own belongings. She just shook with rage as she punched the ground over and over again causing her knuckles to split open and the floor was coated in a light layer of blood. She only stopped when in the corner of her eye she saw the same picture Corva had noticed before. A human man with a dark eldar child in his lap. The man looked almost like Corva but older and that was all that one could tell by the picture.
Gauntla sat outside the room and listened to her younger sister throw her tantrum and just stayed were she was. She still wore her armor as her eyes were still red and puffy from crying and her sister didn't need to know that but she herself was conflicted with what she should do. "Why?" She found herself asking aloud as she just stood up and sighed before a chill rode up her spine causing her to turn at lightning speed with her blade in hand to find Jansar was in there home somehow. "What are you..."
She was interrupted by Jansar bringing a finger to her lips and shushing her before walking to a nearby balcony and signaled for Gauntla to follow her. The tall incubi followed with some hesitation as her sister just cried on the floor in the other room. "Well if it isn't my favorite little pet." Jansar said as she suddenly pinned Gauntla to the wall and tore her helmet off. "Oh no... has someone been crying?" she asked with a laugh as sh tossed Gauntlas helmet to the side. No matter how hard the giant woman tried, Jansar was just so strong. She easily held Gauntla to the wall but then for some reason let her go and walked to the balconies edge. "She so easily gives you up for a human? I told you she would didnt I? She would betray you and leave you, even after how much you did for her. When you both were little urchins on that human world, when I pulled you from the dirt and made you my little play thing in return, the scars you have from our little sessions just so she could live as a little princess and now she would give you back, she would abandon you." Jansar said happily as her words caused Gauntla to start crying again. "I can get rid of him for you, a ship is coming, an imperial ship of bounty hunters. The boys father has searched all these years for him, a governor I do believe. I can sell the boy for you and then you can come to me, you will get your revenge on her and I will not treat you like a pet. You will be my equal." She smiled before shooting across the balcony and pressed her lips against Gauntla's in a passionate kiss before jumping from the balcony and landing on a speeder that took Jansar away and left Gauntla there alone.
Gauntla stood there in shock at what had just happened, It was not the first time that Jansar had forced a kiss on her but it was the first time Gauntla felt that it was real, that she had actually liked it and that Jansar wanted more then a slave from her. She looked back inside the room were her sister was and sighed as she saw Doane clutching the picture and crying to herself before Gauntla began to remove the heavy armor from her own body and proceeded to a mirror to look at herself. She slowly removed all of her robes beneath until she was bare and saw the brands, the scars, the muscle her body was made of. What did Jansar see in her? Why did she now want this? All these questions and more raced through her head as the world of commoragh fell silent.
