The shrill sounds of shrieks that filled the spires of Commorragh could not compare to the deathly shrieks of Doanne's anger, her sadness and her need to have what belongs to her. Her beautiful ivory skin had turned crimson around her eyes as pitch like tears stained her fair cheeks. Her knuckles were smeared with the crimson of her own blood from her strikes to the floor and her beautiful fiery hair was wild and chaotic in her rage. Her tantrum had gone quite noticed by her sister and guardian Incubi, Gauntla. The tall and muscular sister of Doanne had her mind in disarray after the events with Jansar and the loss of Doanne's favorite pet, Corva. The towering guardian Gauntla was Flummoxed with her thoughts, she had lived her whole life sacrificing for Doanne and what had her young sister done for her. Gauntla then took in a deep breath and shook the speculations from her mind. "No...no..." she thought as she slapped at her bare face. She began to assemble her robes from the floor and slid them back over her scarred and damaged body, hiding her past from Doanne as she always had before she walked back to the door.
Gauntla placed her hand on the door and listened to her sisters anger as she slowly began to push the door open, but before she could get a creek in the portal she heard Doanne speak in a antagonistic tone. "Damn that Gauntla! She failed me again!" she spit out as venom dripping into Gauntla's ears."If she would do her job... If she was protecting him I..." Doanne covered her mouth in rage before striking the ground again. "Damn it why!" She creamed. "Why... Why do I even care for that stupid monkeigh!?" she exclaimed in bitter rage as she grabbed a picture of Gauntla and her together and threw it to the door causing it to shatter. It was a picture of them as children and the same make as the one before. The same as the picture with the man who shared Corva's face. It was as the picture tumbled from the door frame and shattered upon the floor that Doanne noticed the portal had been cracked open and Gauntla was peering inside. "Wh...What are you doing!" Doanne screamed as she threw another object to the door.
Gauntla stepped back from the door in shock at how angered her sister was over this and took another deep breath. "I...I'm here because its my job to help you...be...because I'm meant to...to help you in your times of need." She would herself choking with tears again from her sisters rage. Her pale fist was pressed firmly against the wall as she hid her eyes from Doanne's view, only allowing her shoulder to be seen through the door. Her other hand on the door trembled as she tried to understand what was going on and what she must do. "W...what do...do you want me..." She tried to finish before Doanne began to speak again.
"WHAT!?" She screamed at Gauntla before throwing a bottle of strange yellowish fluid at the door which seamed to burn the skin of Gauntla's arm though she did show signs of agony to her sister. "You haven't done anything to help me ever since I was born! You've always held me back and you've always forced your stupid debt's upon me you useless, ungrateful, brain dead whore!" Doanne had a wicked smile on her face as Gauntla winced at her sisters words. "If you are really there for me then why couldn't you protect my pet! Why couldn't you protect my Corva!" She smashed her fist into the tiles again splatting her blood upon the floor. "You terrible, ungrateful worm!"
Gauntla was now sobbing to herself as she tried to hold back the noise with her free hand. "Whore!?" she thought. "I only sold my body so we could eat those nights or so I could care for you." Her mind was a buzz with memories as she remained silent. "Usless?!" Her mind spat again. "I only kept you alive your whole life, I brought you to the world of men then back here when our lives were at risk and I let you rule our Kabal to cement your place in this world. I sacrificed everything for your happiness." Her mind was enraged but she forced it down as she would not speak to Doanne when she was in such a state.
Just then before she could close the door Doanne spoke with venomous words and malice filled eyes. "You are nothing to me!..." she looked at Gauntla's shoulder in the door and screamed at her. "I want you go... leave me now!" Her words flying like blades into Gauntla's heart as the tall woman fell to her knees and her face slumped before the crack in the door revealing she had been crying and in seeing this Doanne fell deathly silent. She was so shocked to see this, not in her entire life had she ever seen Gauntla cry and she never thought she would cry about something like this. "W...wait Gauntla I...I didn't...I didn't mean it I..." but before she could finish Gauntla had stood again and remain motion less as they both remained silent. As Doanne began to raise her hand back to her sister to speak with her, a gentle smile across her face, the faithful Incubi ran away from her leaving Doanne alone in the room.
Gauntla ran and ran before finding the stairs and continued to bound her way down the steps of the spire. The endless steps seamed to go on longer then usual for the lanky guardian as she would catch her shoulder against the spikes on the wall every few flights tearing through her ivory flesh but she did not care. Her sorrow had finally come full circle, her subconscious sorrow had finally overflowed her and she felt lost. She had felt like this before but this was the first time in years that she was genuinely lost to her bleak mind. She had ran for ages down those stairs before she finally found her way to the bottom of the spire again and broke through the doors to the outside. Many warriors of there Kabal had seen her run through but were so shocked at that sight that many of them had been frozen in place. Gauntla on the other hand didn't even notice that there was anyone around her and just sprinted down the way. She was so lost in her mind that she did not even notice that she was being watched.
Gauntla ran and ran even more as if the great Devourer itself was on her heels and there were those who were waiting for her to come further into there trap and before Guantla even knew what happened a band of warriors jumped out from the darkness and quickly subdued and began to strike her over and over. "Whats this?... not even a little fight in ya?" A familiar voice cackled from the darkness as Kaival slunk into view with his wicked grin of sharpened teeth and yellow eyes. "So your sister Doanne will not accept me with prizes or treasure, She wont even accept me for the life of her pet. So I wonder if she will accept me for your life you ugly freak..." he cackled as his warriors followed suit. The laughter filled the alley as Kaival slapped Guantla across the face turning her cheek crimson though she showed no sign of pain or anger with her capture. "Though I dont think it'll hurt to enjoy our prize right boys?" he cackled as he reached down to Guantlas robe and tore it from her breasts revealing them as his men followed in suit, beginning to strip Guantla of her clothes. As the warriors stripped her and then pinned her down Kaival began to remove his armor starting with a pendant made from a blackstar but he suddenly froze in shock. He reached to his lips as his men continued to cackle before the top of his head slid from his jaw and crashed to the ground. Before his warriors could even display there own shock, there bodies fell to pieces around Gauntla whose body was now bare and covered in the blood of her attackers.
"well look at that!" a voice exclaimed from the shadows as the slender succubus slid out from the darkness and picked the blackstar pendant from the ground with her sword. "I have been waiting for Kaival to pull this from his neck, These silly things can protect against the greatest of warriors but why did it have to come at your own cost's?" She looked to Guantla with a gentle smile as it was obvious it was Jansar. The succubus reached down and sat Guantla up as she wrapped her in a cloak she seame dot pull out of nothing before pressing her forehead against the Incubi's. "Its ok... I know you want to cry... I know you feel weak and I know you feel betrayed. It is ok to cry my dear, dear Guantla." she said gently as she stroked Guantla's cheek. The giant guardian could not help it, with the events of the day and softness of Jansar's words made her tears flow once again as she nuzzled into Jansar's warm and loving form. "Its ok my dear little Guantla." Jansar cooed as she stroaked Guantla's hair and helped her stand before quickly guiding her to a nearby speeder. "Lets go home now ok?... Your new home."
