I. Life was living, after
all
that
she had been
alive
but now with (un?)expected guests
she can be at peace?
In pieces
II. Cold
so cold
so
warm
if you catch the
drift
cold
drift
catch the cold
draft
like
cold
drifts carry
death
III. He watches (different from seeing, you know)
her work, she works
quickly
around (danger?)
Sharper than his words
he thinks
it
unwise
of her to do so with
her
heart
so boldly placed
upon her sleeve
IV. Sounds
Bells
they come for him
through cracked mirrors
she can't breath
he thinks
she's not here
he knows
V. blemish
upon
blemish
upon
lives that are no longer recognizable
(but she sees you yet, you know)
like the past (is passed, but
it's still in your mind,
you know)
you heard her voice,
spinning labyrinths through
thoughts unprepared, but ready
the Minotaur in his mind is too tired
VI. She sees
patterns (nothing periodic, you say?)
He sees
red
saw
black
saw
something you
never
want
to
see
again
VII. It is incorrect
to
love
something which you never
had, but you love him
still
and
always
won't (you weren't ready for that
he was ready for that
they were ready for that
so where were
you?)

A/N: Mhmm. So I was listening to The Academy Is . . . which always makes me think of William Beckett (a lot of things make me think of him, possibly because he's gorgeous) and thinking of Bilvy makes me think of Anthony (Becket twin, Beckett twinnn!) and as a result I decided to write . . . there's a lot of myth inspiration here, an a bit from the song 'Down and Out,' by above-mentioned band.
So, besides the Minotaur myth (a bit hard to miss, no?), what did I reference?
Northern downpour sends its love,
