(Decision B.)

Katerina made her decision. She was going to leave. But before she did she turned around first to say goodbye. "I may be leaving, Waylon. But don't you think for one second that I won't be back tomorrow. I'm not going to fear you nor will I be afraid even if you threaten or succeed in killing me. I'm not going to treat you like an animal. And I'm definitely not going to abandon you like everyone else has."

His yellow eyes widened and he turned back around to face her just as she finished her sentence. What the hell is wrong with this damn woman!? Why was she so fucking different!?

But Kat continued, ignoring the fact that the large crocodile man was stomping closer. And also the fact that he didn't look very happy.

"I am not like those other people who cower before you and call you a freak. I may have called you one earlier but I didn't mean one bit of it. But this, this I do."

Katerina stopped talking for a moment, and walked over to the water, ending at the ledge, she bent down, crouching as she stared Waylon in the eyes...

Waylon didn't break that eye contact. Nor did he feel threatened by it. Not at all. Instead, he walked straight up to her, nose to nose, her bending down and him craning his neck upwards, both faces inches apart.

Kat opened her black painted lips to speak. Meaning every word. "No matter what you say or what you do to me. I'm here to stay."

Doubt flooded his mind and he sneered, his top lip curling upwards. "Is that so?" She nodded as the soft yet serious "Yes." left her plump lips. This caused him to stop. The genuine tone in her voice was something he did not expect. He flared his nostrils, analyzing her every move. Sniffing the air as he took in her stance and the hormones and other chemicals her body was producing, the smell dancing around her, filling his nose before it dissipated.

And what he found agitated him like nothing he'd ever experienced.

He couldn't tell if she was lying or not.

He'd have to test her. See if what she was saying was true. Her last sentence ran through his mind over and over again. Her voice ringing in his ears...

No matter what you say or what you do to me. I'm here to stay.

No matter what you say...

No matter what you do...

She got up and because she could feel his eyes on her, quickly walked away, grabbing the handle in her small hand, she turned it and gave the heavy steel door a hard push and just as she walked through and was about to leave, she heard Waylon call her name.

Her real name. Not Woman. Not Bitch. Not Lady, but Kat.

He'd called her by her name, and her nickname of all things!

"Wait." Croc repeated.

It sounded a lot closer then the last time so she quickly turned around and found him right behind her.

It wasn't only the closeness that scared her. It was the way he was looking at her.

He allowed the smallest of a smirk to cross his features as he closed the door, trapping her between him. She shivered as he leant in, his scaly mouth barely touching her ear. "No matter what I do, eh?"
