2. The Law

Jimmy always got in trouble with the law.

As long as he was breathing, he would have somebody watching him closely, or have policemen shouting unnecessary insults at him.

It didn't bother him at all.

Day after day, people would see him bike past the gates, with the fuzz hot on his tail. Then five minutes later, he would walk through the gates, unscathed with a wide smirk on his face. He was a rebel, someone who never went with the flow – then again, unless Derby was manipulating him like he did one summer ago.

Maybe that was the reason that Zoe Taylor longed for the idiotic boy.
