Note: Last updated Sep 18, 2015 and it's now March 2018. I'll be honest. I have a very tentative idea that I recall where this story was going. And as I'm trying to tie up loose ends, I've made a promise to myself for 2018 is to finish the stories I have. So this story will be finished. I don't know if anyone's still hanging onto this story but here's a new chapter for y'all. Like three years later.

Song: Secret by The Pierces

Chapter 11:

I could smell something amazing permeating the air. It was definitely breakfast food. I rubbed my eyes, glad I wasn't wearing makeup for once or that would've been awful. I yawned as I stretched and got up, moving to the door before pausing. I was still wearing the same clothes from yesterday. I grimaced, deciding that the wrinkles were definitely not worth facing everyone in. I picked up my dufflebag to drop it on the bed so I could reach it better. I pulled out a black tank-top with a dark purple mesh netting over shirt and a pair of white shorts. I stripped quickly and wiggled into my bottoms before donning the tops. Then I fished around for my hairbrush and couldn't find it. Did I even bring it with? I shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair before deciding just to braid it so it wouldn't look so bad. Luckily it hadn't tangled in my sleep. I pulled my phone out to see it was dead before going to plug it into the wall. Not like I really needed to talk to anyone right now anyways. I wondered what time it was, because there was no sunlight coming through the window at all.

I shook my head, closing the blinds and moved to pull open the door. I kept quiet, not because I was spying on anyone but I wanted to know what I was walking into. Sure enough, there were more people in the kitchen than I expected. I recognized Sam and Lennox, and I figured the woman who was cooking beside Lennox had to be his wife Sarah. There was another older looking man seated at a bar stool drinking from a steaming mug and beside him a younger looking male was slouched against the bar beside him, looking for all the world to be asleep.

"Morning," I greeted in a low pitch and got an assortment of responses back ranging from verbal grunts to a small wave. "So, trade secrets before or after breakfast?" Sam gave me a weary smirk.

"How about a little before, some during and any left over after," he offered.

"Sounds fair," I said and took a seat at the table by Sam. I had my suspicions about the other two males who were present but kept my mouth shut on it. Sarah gave new kind smile as she and Lennox began placing food on the table. I helped myself to a cup of coffee, doctoring it with plenty of sugar and cream. I took a slow grateful sip. Plates were passed out and we were encouraged to dig in. There was scrambled eggs, pancakes, grits, biscuits and bacon. I got a little of everything and looked to Sam who was carefully making a plate.

He caught my eye and smiled. "Right. . . Let's see. Where to begin?" He questioned and glanced to the unnamed older male who was scooping food onto the plate of the younger blonde male.

"The beginning usually works," The older male said in a distinctly Optimus Prime voice. Well, that answered that question.

"Wait. You guys can eat in those forms?" I questioned and Optimus gave me a wry smile in return.

"Ask Ratchet for the science behind it. Something about breaking down all the molecules to convert to energy to maintain the form," Sam answered and took a sip of his own coffee. "Okay. The beginning starts with my first car." and here he smiled at the younger looking male who smiled back. So that was Bee. Interesting. Sam narrated the events leading up to Mission City with intersections from Optimus and Lennox for certain sequences. Then Sam narrated the hell that had been college and the events in Egypt. I listened with rapt attention, keeping any comments to myself until he was done with his tale.

"So you're a Prime and somewhere in your brain is the knowledge that'll help these guys survive as a species?" I asked, paraphrasing the events he had told me. He nodded and I gave a crooked smirk. "Well on the behalf of humanity, Thank you for saving the world. Twice. I imagine they're keeping that pretty quiet. What with the 'mistaken identity' spill."

"Yeah and I still have a meeting with the President coming up. Supposedly I'm getting a medal." Sam said and I laughed, which caused his smile to grow.

"That should be interesting. So what's the plan?" I leaned forward, expressing my interest.

"I plan to continue working with the Autobots and be a true liaison between our species." Sam replied and I nodded because that made sense. "Now that the world knows about the Cybertronians."

"Mmm" I said sipping my coffee. "I've seen how they're handling that on the media. I'm so glad I'm not a part of that. I can only imagine the headaches." I gave Lennox and Optimus a sympathetic smile.

"The Decepticons appear to be laying low for now. Licking their wounds," Optimus replied in his low soothing manner.

"All the better for us and for you Autobots to solidify the bond with mankind," I remarked, finishing off my coffee.

"I apologize but I must return to NEST headquarters with Major Lennox," Optimus informed me. He gave me a curt nod and I got to witness Lennox trading a kiss with his beautiful wife. I glanced to Sam with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm going to give Bee a detailing if you wanna help me?" Sam offered and I agreed rather quickly. He laughed at my shocked look as the human representing Bee merely blinked out of existence.

"Holy shit that's weird." I replied and covered my mouth as a cute little girl giggled.

"You say bad word. Quarter for the bad word jar" she cooed in obvious child like glee. I'd forgotten Annabelle was even there.

"What if I don't have a quarter?" I asked as Sam passed me, pressing a quarter into my hand as he did. Thank Primus. I smiled and allowed her to show me the swear jar where I deposited my newly acquired quarter. Then I went outside. Sam must've done this before because he was already collecting the necessary supplies.

"Can you unwind the hose?" He asked, toting two buckets with scrub brushes and rags. I moved to do as asked and spotted Sunny's alt-mode parked in the drive way which was really just packed dirt. Bee was waiting in a clearing free of dirt. I wondered if Sunny expected to be washed. I shook my head and turned the hose on so Sam could fill the buckets. "This is just a surface wash in case anyone asks."

"Are there other stages of washing?" I had to ask.

"Yeah. Some are more intimate in body armor," Sam pointed out and I tipped my head to the side in thought. "It's a sign of trust. For a deeper clean. So, surface wash for Bee for now."

"Ah. So you've gone deeper than the surface?" I asked and received a deadpan look in return. "That's cute."

"It's not like that. It's literally about levels of trust." Sam groaned, before flinging a soapy sponge at me. I caught it reflexively and ducked out of the way as Sam sprayed the camaro down with well water. Then it was time to wash the Camaro. I tried to think of it as just a car. Really. But every now and then this car would shimmy on it's wheels reminding me that we were washing a living thing.

"So. . . You and Miles?" Sam started and it was my turn to groan.

"That's not a fair topic of discussion. Me and Miles are trying. . . It gets complicated with this," I said and flicked a hand towards Sunny.

"Yeah. It's hard keeping secrets," Sam said with a pained expression. "Sorry about that. "

"Not your fault Sam. It's the choices that we make. I decided to stick it out with the alien car and somehow made myself an enemy of a certain seeker. Which oddly enough not your fault in the slightest."

"True," Sam replied with a grimace. "Just our luck tho. . . "

"And it's not your fault I had crazy visions of Jazz, an Autobot I've never met." I pointed out, meeting his eyes across the roof of the camaro. "The whole world doesn't rest on your shoulders alone Sam. Feel free to spread that burden out to those of us you trust." He nodded in agreement. The day passed in lazy silence until Sam departed, he had to get to DC and meet the President. Sarah implored that I stay as long as I want despite the fact that she was taking Annabelle to her mother in law's.

That left just me and Sunny at the ranch. Well, Sunny hadn't made an appearance the entire time everyone had been there. I was fixing a bowl of ice cream when he appeared, startling me. I dropped the bowl in surprise but Sunny caught it. The spoon was in my mouth and he plucked it from me, dipping it into the ice cream and than sinfully licking it off with slow smooth movements. I felt my face flush in embarrassment, guilt and shame warring inside. I couldn't help it. Sunny had a very attractive holoform and his behavior was anything but innocent. I swallowed nervously as Sunny seemed to regard me before offering me back the bowl.

"Its good," he said and I nodded dumbly, carefully accepting the bowl back. My eyes were locked to the spoon as he dipped it back into the ice cream, swirling it around as he pulled it out and licked the cream off the metallic surface. Why was that such a sensual hot motion? Why was Sunny fucking with me? My heart thudded loudly in my chest as he dipped the spoon back in the ice cream leaving it to rest there. "Wanna watch a movie?" He asked, heading into the living room.

"What are you doing?" I finally managed to ask. An impish smirk answered me.

"Looking for a movie to watch," he said in an innocent motion. "You like horror movies right?"

"They're alright," I replied and took a seat on the couch, hesitant. I didn't know what was going on. Why was Sunny being nice? Was he that bored that this was somehow interesting to him? I nibbled on some of the ice cream. It was homemade and he was right. It was good. Sunny, though I'd learned not to say that aloud, finished making his selection and popped a DVD. The Lennox's had surround sound setup in their living room. Briefly I wondered how much money Lennox made but only vaguely. Sunny took the seat next to me on the couch and I focused my attention on the tv. It was some paranormal horror about a demonic entity. The usual breakdown of lots of jumpscares. The build up got me as halfway through the movie the demon creature was revealed. I jumped violently, grabbing Sunny's hand and burying my face against him. I was such a wimp. I tensed as I realized what I'd done. What I'd done with anyone else I'd watch horror movies with.

"Sorry," I apologized quickly and detached myself from Sunny. I cast a quick glance at him as I pulled myself in closer to the other side of the couch, arms wrapped tightly around myself. He looked annoyed and I didn't blame him. I carefully tried finishing the movie. The good guys won. Demon was sent back to hell. I hoped I wasn't gonna have nightmares. I got up and put my bowl in the sink. Then I headed to my room, stopping to wish Sunny a good night before going to bed. He still looked annoyed. I climbed into the bed, clicking the lamp off and settling into sleep.

It was a waste land on fire. A desolate, abandoned place forgotten by time. Buildings lay in waste and gritty sand was blown up with the wind, irritating my nose and eyes. A dense smoke seemed to hang in the air and it was cold with no sunshine to warm the earth. This place looked familiar creating an odd sense of Deja vu. It was as if I knew this place before whatever destruction had claimed it.

"Admiring my handiwork?" that rancid evil voice from before spoke and I shivered as chills climbed down my spine. "This will be your world."

"Not if I stop you," I spoke with a bravado I certainly didn't feel. The voice laughed cruelly at this.

"You think you can defeat me?" I became aware of something moving in the background. It was the demon creature from the movie. "You have spunk. . . You also irk me. It's time to take you down a notch. . . So I'll leave you with this parting gift." A t terrible pain washed through me and I brought my hands up to look at them as a spider web of black veins appeared. I shook my hands in panic-

I came to with a yelp, falling out of the bed. Jesus Christ. I quickly studied my hands to make sure they were clean. Okay. No more horror movies before bed. I got up and made my way to the bathroom to rinse my face off with cold water before leaving the bathroom. Movement in the hall caused me to jump and press a hand to my chest.

"Damnit Sunstreaker," I hissed, taking a shaky breath before trying to push past him. He planted an arm firmly on the wall, faulting my forward progress. I scowled in annoyance, not exactly in the best of moods.

"You were distressed." He stated softly, tilting his head to study me.

"nah shit," I muttered, noticing how close we were. My eyes darted to his lips then up. He noticed and leaned closer.

"I wanna try something. Might help you," He told me, using his free hand to tilt my chin up towards him. I frowned in confusion but then my eyes widened in surprise as he kissed me. It was soft and warm, chasing away the chill of the dream. A moist tongue teased it's way between my lips and I shuddered at the taste of sweetness and the sure confidence that Sunstreaker utilized. He dominated the kiss, keeping the point of contact on my chin and our lips. He slowly pulled back catching my lower lip between his teeth as he did. He looked at me with a smug grin and I was a little ashamed of how breathless I was. Then he was kissing the side of my neck, hands roaming my body freely. This wasn't like kissing Miles, this was something different. Something hotter and more powerful that threatened to consume me. Like a moth to a flame.

"Wait. Wait," I hissed again, catching his hands. "I can't." He stopped, pulling back to look at me. "I have Miles." His eyebrows narrowed.

"Miles is a loser and you could do better. Besides, not like you can tell him about the other half of your life." He moved back in for a kiss and I almost let him. I was very touch orientated after all. I turned my head though.

"True. But I'm not going to cheat on Miles for some alien fling just because you're bored." I muttered.

"You like it." Sunstreaker argued and I bit my bottom lip. "And you kissed back. . . You want this."

"I can't."

"Tell me no and I'll stop. Other wise we're done talking." Sunstreaker said and nibbled my ear. I tried not to shiver and swallowed hard.

"I -" I protested even as he paused against my lips. His eyes met mine, burning brightly with passion. Maybe this wasn't as one sided as I presumed. I swallowed hard, coming to a tough decision. "No." Sunstreaker studied me as if coming to a conclusion before his form misted out of sight. I took a shaky breath, touching my swollen bottom lip. God that was intense. A bedroom door creaked open and Sarah made a sleepy appearance.

"Everything okay?" she asked and I nodded.

"Yeah. Just a nightmare." I offered and she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"There's hot cocoa mix in the cabinet and milk in the fridge," She told me kindly and I smiled.

"Thanks."
