Here is the next chapter. Please let me know what you think. Enjoy.

Things didn't get any better for Jenny and the others as night seemed to fall on the cursed ocean. It was surprising to find that the place could get any darker than it already was.

"Dad where are we?" asked Jenny.

"We seem to have been pushed a little way by that wave though we couldn't have gone too far," her father tried to reason.

"I don't know of any place like this in the Atlantic Ocean," stated her mother.

Melissa started to cry. "Don't cry Lis," said Jarod, "Think of this as an adventure. Ever since we were children we always dreamt of going on one."

"Take a look around," yelled Melissa in her fear, "this isn't a place for adventure. No one is around, it is super creepy and who knows what is out there. We are going to die here and no one will ever find us." Tears were running down her face.

I placed my arms around my friend as I too was just as frightened as she was. Matt reached an arm over placing it on her shoulder to try and comfort her. I looked at him and he didn't seem scared at all. It was one of the things I liked about him. He could be so brave.

"Cheer up Lis, if you start thinking like that we will really be in trouble. Besides you have me here," Matt puffed out his chest a little, "I have taken martial arts for 6 years and I can handle anything this place can throw at us."

"Matt is right," chimed in my dad, "We need to stay positive."

It was beginning to get dark. Really dark. To make sure the yacht didn't run into anything that they couldn't see dad dropped the anchor. Fortunately, the ocean floor wasn't too deep and it managed to snag on something keeping the boat in place.

We had a couple of flashlights though we only kept one on so we didn't use up both of them.

The night was the worst night Jenny had endured. It was so dark and she swore she could here many strange noises in the mist. She was almost certain that they were going to die tonight. Jenny wasn't going to even try to sleep.

She had spent it huddled closely to her mother. Melissa had managed to snuggle up to Matt. This annoyed Jenny as Melissa knew about her feelings for Matt. She wished so badly that it was her that was snuggled up to him, she was too timid. She hated this about herself.

She had admired Matt for the last couple of years. She had gotten to know him through Jarod who she had known ever since she was little. He was very handsome in her opinion. A strong jaw line, thick black hair, strong broad shoulders and the most beautiful pair of blue eyes she had ever seen on anyone.

She fell for him the moment she laid eyes on him. He was fully aware of his appearance and all the girls fawned over him. He could be a little arrogant… okay a lot arrogant. However, she could see past all that. He was also very brave as she stated before and a great deal of fun to be around.

How she wished she had the courage to go over and join Melissa in snuggling up to him.

Jarod came and sat next to her for some of the night.

"So what is the plan?" Jarod asked Brady, "There is no signal on my phone and we currently have no idea where we are."

Jarod asked Brady but it was Jayne that answered, "Hopefully this fog will clear up by morning and we will be able to use the sun to tell us which direction is west. If we head that way, we should reach the shore."

"And if the fog doesn't clear up?" Jenny asked.

"Wo, What's that!" whispered Matt moving to get a better view and almost dropping Melissa in the process.

Everyone felt their heart stop as they saw what it was that he was looking at. Not far away were two green lights. The lights were positioned in a way that they looked like a pair of eyes and these eyes were looking straight at them.
