Chapter 34

"What the…" Horror flashed through Sael's eyes as he saw what just happened. Never has he seen someone to actually break his curse by themselves. Sure, that Titania and Frost were snapped back to their senses but they needed some outside force to break his hold.

"Lucy, hang in there." Laxus caught the girl in his arms. "Don't you dare die on me now!"

"Hehehe. Silly Laxus. I'm just tired." The girl weakly chuckled as her eyes threatening to close in fatigue.

"You, how could you break my Curse?!" The villain was still taken aback by the feat.

"Idiot, have you forgotten that you're not the only one who has special powers." Jellal and the other Fairy Tail members gathered around the couple, ready to take on the demon even in their weakened state.

"What does that mean, human?!" He bellowed.

"It means you only cursed her Magic Power. Have you already forgotten that she has another container?" The former Magic Council member smirked. "And that is why her Spirits still retained some of their will."

"I'll wipe that smirk on your face, you weak human!" The demon laughed maniacally. "Since my plan for the blonde wench to use her Magic to open this book backfired, I guess I'll just have to do it myself. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself." He threw the book in the above along with the keys. It floated mid-air as the keys encircled it. "Open! Book of Pandemonium!" The keys stopped encircling and went into the keyhole in the cover. All twelve turned and the book slowly opened. Thick black mist seeped out and covered Sael.

"What is that, Jellal-san?" Wendy, still supporting Gajeel with her right arm, asked their new guild mate.

"I don't know but in any case, Wendy-san, can you heal Laxus?" The man replied.

"Hai! Aries-san didn't harm me so I guess I can." The girl put the Iron Dragon Slayer down and let him sit. She then walked in front of the blond and kneeled down to examine the gash on his abdomen. "Laxus-san, just stay still for a moment. SKY DRAGON'S HEALING SPELL." Faint light blue light gathered in her hands and quickly stitched the wound back.

"That is pretty neat." Gray complimented her. Yes, Wendy has been training continuously to further advance her ability to heal in terms of speed and power consumption. She did this so that she can quickly finish healing without fainting from the fatigue. "At any rate, that mist is one big of a problem." Gray added.

"It's done." Wendy moved away from the blond and resumed her place beside Gajeel to finish healing his head injury."

"…" Lucy shuffled.

"Lucy, stop moving, you'll strain yourself." Laxus tried to stop Lucy from standing up.

"Laxus, everyone, sorry." Lucy covered her face with both hands in humiliation.

"It's alright, Luce." Natsu gave her a thumbs-up, grinning.

"Weaklings, time to start this massacre." They all looked up and were surprised as to what they saw. Sael became younger, his skin was as white as a paper, eyes as red as blood. Adorning his head was a pair of large golden horns. His hair elongated while indigo dyed it, slicked back and reached past his waist. His upper body was bare but his arm was covered by black scales and his hands were black claws. The lower part of his body became that of a goat's legs. On his back were bat wings and his tail was a black serpent.

"The hell with that?!" Laxus exclaimed.

"Laxus, I can stand now. The Spirit Energy healed me." Lucy stood up.

"Okay, then let's go beat that bastard!" Laxus hollered.

"Yosh!" Natsu cheered. Lucy looked at her guild mates. Smiles and smirks were plastered on their faces but despite that, she could still see that they pretty much took the full blunt damage from her attacks. Blood was smeared across their faces, their eyes were half-closed with bruise, cuts adorned their cheeks, their shoulders sagged and their posture was obviously in pain.

"No." She replied, calmly. This was her fight and not theirs. Besides, if it all came to the one to blame, it was her. She was the one that started this whole mess. She was the one that did this to her family. It was all of her fault.

"But you don't have any Spirit Energy left!" Laxus protested. There was no way he would let this girl fight that demon all on her own.

"I still have my Spirit Energy, right?" She smiled as she erected a large dome the same color as the light projected by Urano Metria around her friends.

"Juvia wonders what this is." Juvia put her hands on the inside wall of the dome.

"From what the Celestial Spirit King told me, this is how I could exhaust the Spirit Energy to prevent it from overwhelming me." Lucy explained. "This dome will provide you protection and will quickly heal your injuries." She continued. "Now, all I have to do is enlarge this to cover everyone. I could still sense that no one is dead. No life perished, thankfully." Relief washed over them but one worry still nipped at their minds.

"Stop this, Lucy! He's too strong!" Laxus repeatedly punched the dome in a vain attempt to find an exit. "No, Lucy!" The dome enlarged and covered Fairy Tail Guild, including the five Sabertooth members.

"I'll be fine. I still have a wedding to attend to." A sphere covered Lucy and lifted her up into the air. In her hands was also the same color of sphere.

"Took ya long enough." Sael flapped his wings and propelled himself towards her, punching the dome. Sparks flew at the sudden contact. "What the…? A barrier?"

"My turn." Lucy dashed towards her opponent and using a sphere covered foot, she kicked him in the cheeks. "Lucy Kick!"

"GAHHHHH!" Sael was thrown into a nearby concrete wall. Dust covered him but in a flap of his wings, all particles cleared. "DARK ABYSS BREAK!" More black mist came out of the book and covered the Magic Seal as he performed various hand signs. A large burst of thick black torrent of Magical Energy swallowed Lucy's barrier.

"LUCY!" Laxus pounded the dome harder but it wouldn't budge. "What the hell?!" The sudden surge of strength surprised him. It was as if he was back in full health. He took a glance at the others. Their wounds were disappearing. He looked down at his abdomen. There were no more scars from Wendy's healing technique, just a flawless skin.

"Look!" Wendy exclaimed as she pointed above. A sphere was growing larger, pushing the dark torrent of energy away.

"You, bitch!" Sael growled. A weak girl has the guts to dispel all of his powerful techniques! Unacceptable! "INFERNAL SPHERE!" More mist came from the book and swallowed him.

"Hey, that's!" Gray pointed out. He saw how the Twin Dragon's of Sabertooth used all of their power just to break the dark sphere a while ago, when Yukino was captured but it was still of no use.

"Juvia thinks so too but something's different." She noticed that what the Yukino girl imprisoned in wasn't oozing with that kind of mist.

"No, it's more powerful!" Jellal can't believe his own eyes. An already unbreakable dark barrier was fortified. How could Lucy defeat that?

"Come to Papa!" Sael flapped his wings harder to gain momentum. By that time, Lucy's barrier went back to its original size. She propelled herself towards her opponent and clashed her barrier with his. The impact caused a tremendous force that sent them in opposite directions, breaking both of their barriers.

"Ugh!" Sael used his wings to avoid hitting the concrete. He then flew upwards to strike another attack. "INFERNAL STREAM!" Black mist again gathered in his hands. Oozing of mist, a dark stream of energy burst forth.

"Lucy!" Laxus shouted when he saw that Lucy was rapidly falling from the impact caused by the barrier collision.

"EMPYREAN WINGS!" Though she never knew what could have happened, she instinctively called out for something that could be of use. And she needed wings. Cosmic light like the one in her Urano Metria Spell gathered around her back forming wings. The light soon dissipated and there, unlike Gemini's copy of wings, were a pair of an even purer white appendages, faint golden glitter came out when she flapped it. She flapped it harder and went to the side when she almost hit the ground and Sael's attack almost connected to her.

"So, wings, eh?" Sael smirked. He gathered more black mist in his claws of a hand and tried to punch Lucy. The blonde girl flew backwards, sphere forming on her fist punched the man on the face but Sael flew towards her back and using his hooves, he kicked her. The force sent her crashing in a nearby wall.

"PANDEMONIUM BLAST!" A large thick wave of mist poured out of the book and gathered around his raised hand. It condensed into a sphere. He then released the ball of energy into the dust-covered area and upon contact, a large pillar formed, destroying the opposite wall and sending the concrete on the dome below.

"LUCY!" Laxus growled, tears forming in his eyes.

"Brace yourselves!" Erza warned everyone just as the falling rocks neared them. They closed their eyes and waited for the rocks to squish the life out of them but it didn't happened. The dome protected them and broke the rocks into pieces.

"LUCY! OPEN THIS THING NOW!" Laxus continued to punch the dome but it didn't budge.

"It seems that I was too late to defend." Lucy emerged from the rubble with only a bruised leg. Laxus couldn't be more thankful. Cosmic light gathered around her fist. "I've learned this technique from Laxus. ASTRAL BULLETS!" Orbs fired at Sael in high speed, hitting him in the chest and putting a hole in his wings.

Laxus couldn't be more proud at seeing his fiancée learned from him but enough of the praising. He needs to get out of this stupid dome and help her.

"Gahhh!" Blood trickled down Sael's chest. He's currently falling down because of the hole put by that wench on his wings. He needed that mist to regenerate. "Book of Pandemonium, regenerate me!" He called out to the book in mid-air and sure enough, a blanket of mist burst and cocooned him, stopping him from falling.

"That book!" Jellal noticed it. He gestured for everyone to listen to him. All complied. "It's the one giving him infinite power. We have to close it."

"But how?" Erza asked.

"Natsu-san!" a female voice neared them. All heads shot back to the source of the voice.

"Yukino? What are you doing here?" The Fire Dragon Slayer asked.

"I know of a way to close that book." She replied.

"How?! How?!" Laxus demanded, frantic. Sael was currently gaining the upper hand and Lucy was taking blows of blows of black energy.

"At the back of the book, there's another keyhole." She pointed at the Book of Pandemonium. "That's a keyhole to seal it but first we have to take out all of the twelve."

"Then what key should we use to close that thing?" Gajeel interjected.

"This." The white-haired Celestial Spirit Mage took out the Ophiuchus key. "The Thirteenth Key."

A/N: And here's our 4/8 of the last chapters...

supercrazyperson: I guess I owe you an apology for that. Hehehe. Gomen, gomen! Lucy's still alive and kicking demonic asses.

XxShyxX: Why, oh, why are you crying, dear friend?
