Warning for implied polyamory I suppose? Lucius and Severus are lovers, Lucius and Narcissa are married, Draco exists, everyone is an affectionate and happy family.

"Severus! Hello, welcome." Narcissa smiled, beckoning him into an embrace.

"Hello, dear." Severus smiled, returning the light clasp. "Did you have a good time in France?" he asked.

"Of course, as always! It's a pity Lucius couldn't join us. Again." Narcissa rolled her eyes, the gesture looking odd on her elegant features, not in kind with her usual poise at all.

"The business interests require looking after, my dear." Lucius said as he came out of the doors behind her. "Severus, love, hello." he added, his lips curling, and led them both inside before greeting Severus with a light kiss and an embrace of his own, though they had already been well beyond the Manor's impressive wards.

"If you say so, I'm certain it must be true." Narcissa said, lightly teasing. "Draco and I will continue to enjoy ourselves without you." she said, patting Lucius' cheek as she passed. "Won't we, my darling?" she cooed, and Severus pulled back to see his godson approaching, giving a smile so like Lucius' Severus couldn't resist returning it.

"Hello, Draco." Severus said, going to one knee to come closer to the child's height, accepting a clingy - and slightly sticky - hug. "Did you have fun with your mother in France?" he asked.

Draco grinned. "Hello Severus!" he returned, and looked up at his father. "Yes. . . But I missed Father, and you." he added, frowning slightly. Lucius rested a hand on his shoulder, squeezing lightly and rubbing with his thumb.

"Well we are all home again now." Lucius said reassuringly, and Draco's grin returned as he nodded acceptance. "And it is time for tea, I believe."

Severus nodded and rose, offering a hand to Draco, who happily took it as they all followed Lucius towards the small morning room where the family took tea together.
