AN: Hello hello hello... so I know I said this probably wouldn't be out this early, but I couldn't help it. I'm going to spend the rest of today and tomorrow cramming for my exams, but I really wanted to get this chapter out. I just want to thank you all because we're up to 64 follows and 35 favorites and I could not be more thankful to all of you. So thank you my lovelies because you all keep me inspired! Drop a review and let me know what you think! Happy reading!

Did you have to do this?
I was thinking that you could be trusted
Did you have to ruin what was shining now it's all rusted
Did you have to hit me where I'm weak baby I couldn't breathe
I rubbed it in so deep
Salt in the wound like you're laughing right at me
Oh, it's so sad to think about the good times
You and I

'Cause baby now we got bad blood
You know it used to be mad love
So take a look at what you've done
'Cause baby now we got bad blood

Now we got problems
And I don't think we can solve them
You made a really deep cut
And baby now we got bad blood

-Bad Blood by Taylor Swift

"Shit Cora. Should I take you to the ER?" Stiles questioned as we headed towards the school. I pulled off my flannel and began trying to tie the arms together to make a makeshift sling. I shook my head.

"No. I'll go later. Just get us to the school." I told him as I threw the shirt over my shoulder and groaned in pain as I maneuvered my arm into the makeshift sling. I reached into the backseat and grabbed my pistol.

As we pulled in I saw the sheriff standing by his car.

"Talk to your dad. He's probably worried about you. Tell him I fell and broke my arm and you came to get me or something. Meet me in the locker room. I'm going to find Scott." I tucked the gun into the back of my jeans and took off at sprint to get to Scott.

"I'm not helping you kill people." I heard Scott say as I opened the door to the locker room.

"Well, I don't want to kill all of them. Just the responsible ones. And that doesn't have to include –" I pulled my gun out from behind my jeans making sure I was ready. I froze however when I heard Derek's voice.

"Allison." What the fuck is he doing here?

"You're on his side? Are you forgetting the part where he killed your sister?" Scott exclaimed.

"It was a mistake." Derek responded and a shot of betrayal went through me. I tried to get a read on his emotions through the bond but he was shutting me out.

"What?" Scott asked in confusion. My hand tightened on my gun and I strode forward.

"It happens." I scoffed as I stepped into the showers and moved quickly so that I was between Scott and Peter.

"If you believe that you're as crazy as your douchebag uncle." I snapped pointing my gun at Peter and side-eyeing Derek. My mate just stared blankly at me.

"Ahh there she is. Hello again Cora. How's the arm?" Peter asked with a smirk. I glared at the Alpha.

"Hurts like a bitch, but I'm sure I'll feel a lot better once I put this bullet through your goddamn skull." I told him as I flicked off the safety and got ready to shoot. I never had the chance however because Derek fucking sneak attacked me and knocked the gun from my hand. I went to attack him but he quickly grabbed my good arm and pinned it to my side wrapping an arm around my waist to keep me from moving. I began to struggle against him, but with his extra strength and me being down an arm it was fruitless.

"What the fuck are you doing Derek?" I ground out angrily.

"What he was told to do, like a good beta." Peter smirked before turning to Scott. "Scott - I think you're getting the wrong impression of us. We really just want to help you reach your full potential."

"By killing my friends." Scott snapped looking to me worriedly. I ignored the boy for a moment.

"Let me go Derek." I said angrily trying to get away but he just ignored me.

"Sometimes the people closest to you - can be the ones holding you back the most. Look Derek is literally holding Cora back from what she wants most." Peter told the boy chuckling at the angry look on my face.

"If they're holding me back from becoming a psychotic nut job like you, I'm okay with that." Scott quipped. Peter smiled slightly at the boy and began taking steps towards him.

"Maybe - you could try and see things - from my perspective." The Alpha told him claws sliding out. I began struggling harder against Derek trying to get to Scott, but he just tightened his hold against me, preventing me from escaping.

Peter approached Scott and grabbed him by the back of the neck digging his claws in. Scott yelled out in pain and dropped to the floor. He convulsed slightly as Peter's memories ran through him. Derek finally let me go and I rushed to Scott. Placing a hand on his head trying to comfort him. I pulled his head into my lap as the two other wolves started to leave. I glared angrily up at Derek.

"Derek!" I called out causing the beta to stop. I summed up all the anger and betrayal I was feeling and tried my best to send it to him through the bond hoping the emotions were strong enough to break through his block. I succeeded if the almost imperceptible flinch I noticed was anything to go by.

"If you leave with him, don't bother coming back home. We're fucking done." I said as angry tears welled up in my eyes and a few began to fall. He didn't say anything and just followed Peter out of the room.

Once Scott was out of the memory I helped him to sit onto one of the benches to catch his breath as Stiles rushed in.

"Dude, we have a huge problem." Stiles breathed out. He hunched over leaning up against the lockers trying to catch his breath.

"Trust me - I know." Scott responded looking to me worriedly.

Stiles dropped Scott and I off at my truck down the road from his house. I put my gun into the glove box as Scott climbed into the driver's seat. We headed towards the hospital.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked. I knew he was referring to Derek linking up with Peter, but I responded as if he was talking about my arm.

"I will be once I get this casted."

"That's not what I meant."

"I know." The rest of the drive to the hospital was silent. Lost in thought I could feel Derek searching me out through the bond. I did my best to ignore it and block him off from me.

When we got to the hospital we headed to the ER. Mellissa spotted us as soon as we walked in and she rushed us into a room.

"What the hell happened?" She asked.

"I fell." I responded. She quirked an eyebrow at me. She looked between me and Scott.

"Was this Derek?" She asked angrily. I glared at her as his name caused a pang of betrayal to shoot through me.

"No. I fell." I told her angrily. She rolled her eyes.

"Cora if he hurt you-"

"Mom it wasn't him! I swear she fell. I watched it happen. She just landed weird on her arm."

"Okay how'd you fall?"

"I was standing on a chair trying to get a book off my shelf. The chair moved and I fell. It was stupid using a wheeled chair, but I was too lazy to grab a kitchen chair." I told her letting out a chuckle to try and get her to believe me. She eyed me skeptically but nodded.

She began examining my arm and taking my vitals. She got me all registered and set up in the computer. As she was working on that she sent me to the bathroom to do the normal urine sample and once I was back she left to go talk to the doctor.

After the doctor stopped by they sent me for an X-ray. According to the X-ray the break wasn't as bad as I had thought and they gave me an air cast. After Mellissa gave me instructions on how to care for it.

"Don't overdo it. Do you want this prescription for painkillers?" She asked as I stood getting ready to leave. I shook my head.

"Nope. The only pain killer I need is waiting for me back at the bar." I told her trying to lighten the mood. She rolled her eyes at me.

"C'mon Scottie. Let's get you home." I told my nephew as we got ready to leave. We both hugged Mellissa as we headed out.

After dropping Scott off I checked my phone and saw I had a message from Dean from about 30 minutes ago.

"Cora. Answer your fucking phone. We'll be there in 40." I blew out a breath.

I pulled into my apartment and headed inside throwing my keys on table and headed down to the bar. It was a pretty slow night and I sat down at the bar. Stacy was the name of the girl working tonight. She came over and leaned on the counter in front of me.

"What happened there boss?" She asked motioning to my arms.

"I'm clumsy. Get me a Jameson on the rocks. Leave the bottle." I told her not in the mood to talk. Thankfully the girl picked up on it and just handed me the stuff and headed off to take care of some other patrons. As I slammed back the first glass, face squinting at the burn in my throat I saw the door open from the mirror behind the bar. It was Sam and Dean. I watched as they looked around the bar trying to spot me. Sam smacked Dean on the arm and pointed towards me.

Dean rushed over and his eyes narrowed at the cast on my arm.

"What the hell happened? Did Derek do that?" I snorted.

"Why does everyone think that? He's a backstabbing dick head, but he's not a fucking abuser." I snapped slamming back another glass of Jameson. Dean quirked an eyebrow as he and Sam took a seat on each side of me. I poured another glass.

"Care to elaborate?" Dean asked as he snatched my drink and took a long drink. I glared and snatched it back.

"Get your own asshole." Dean exchanged a look with Sam at my attitude. I slammed back the rest of the glass.

"Alright. What the hell's going on? You're being extra bitchy tonight." I glared.

"You wanna know what's going on? Peter Hale is the fucking Alpha." I snapped.

"The uncle?" Sam questioned. I nodded and got myself another drink. Dean let out a whistle.

"I take it you weren't expecting that." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Considering he's been in a coma for the last six fucking years I'd say not." I told him as my head started to get fuzzy. The alcohol was finally catching up to me. I needed a smoke, I decided as I flagged Stacy down.

"Get these two whatever they want. On the house, all of it." Stacy nodded as I poured myself another glass and began to stand.

"Where are you going?" Sam asked. I pulled my cigarettes out of my pocket and wiggled them in his face.

"I am going to smoke Samantha. Get yourselves some food if you're hungry. Kitchen closes in half an hour." I told them as I headed out.

Leaning up against the building I lit up a cigarette taking a long drag. Aside from the roller coaster of emotions rolling through me my whole body felt like it was at war with itself. I'd been working all night to block the bond off, pushing it so deep into the recesses of my mind I almost couldn't feel it. It felt wrong, but I continued to do it. However, no matter how much I suppressed the mental aspect of the bond, my body was urging me to go find Derek. There was a strong pull in my gut that just wouldn't go away.

As I got to the end of my cigarette I started to realize just how much I drank. The alcohol was catching up to me, seeing as I'd drank three quarters of a fifth of Jameson in less than hour I wasn't surprised. I continued to sit outside long after my cigarette was done trying my best to stifle my emotions by focusing on the anger.

The door to the bar opened I turned and saw Dean coming out with a beer in hand. He smiled slightly at me then sat down. He went to speak but was cut off by the door opening and Sam coming out to sit on the other side of me.

"So, I get that you're surprised by Peter being the Alpha, but why is Derek a "backstabbing dick head"?" Sam questioned. I pulled out another cigarette and took a long drag before answering.

"Because now he's working with the douche bag that killed his sister." I told them. Dean and Sam exchanged looks.

"Actually, working with him? That doesn't make sense. As much as I don't like the guy I know he's not just gonna go around murdering people for no reason." Dean stated taking a sip of his beer.

"Peter's killing everyone involved with the fire."

"So why are you pissed at Derek for helping? You talk about killing Kate Argent all the time." I glared at Sam.

"That's different. Kate deserves it and yeah all those other people do too. But Peter killed Laura you guys. Laura had nothing to do with the fire obviously and she was like a sister to me. So, whether Derek's with Peter or not I'm going to kill the Mother fucker. And if I have to go through Derek to do it, I will."

The next morning, I woke up, and rushed to the bathroom throwing up the alcohol from last night. I groaned and leaned back against the tub as I wiped my mouth. A chuckle from the door way had me glancing up to see Sam standing there watching me.

"So that's what drinking a whole fifth of Jameson will do to you the next morning. Weird." He mused with a smile on his face. I glared.

"Now is not the time for sarcasm Samuel." He chuckled again. I stood heading to the sink and grabbing my tooth brush. I began to brush the vomit from my mouth as Sam spoke.

"Dean went out to get breakfast. I started coffee." I nodded thankfully. "I'm gonna shower are there towels in the guest bathroom?" I nodded and leaned down to spit the paste out.

"There should be. Toss your dirty clothes into the laundry room. I'll get Dean's when he gets back." Sam smiled in thanks.

"Thanks Cora!" He told me before heading out of the room.

I got dressed and took some ibuprofen for my arm, which was throbbing, fucking Peter, before heading out into the kitchen and grabbing my mug out of the cupboard. I quickly myself some coffee. Noticing neither of the boys were around I quickly grabbed some Bailey's out of the liquor cabinet and added it to my coffee, hair of the dog and all that. I added my normal sugar and a little less cream than normal as Dean entered through the front door. A box of donuts in his hand. I took a sip of my coffee and hummed as the warmth flowed through me.

"Morning sunshine. How ya feeling?" Dean questioned as he sat the donuts and a bag on the table.

"Not the worst, not the best." I responded as I walked over to the table wanting to pick out my donut before Dean took all the good ones. I set my coffee down and opened up the box. I smiled as I realized he got all just regular glazed ones. My favorite. I felt his hand slide under my chin and tip my head up to look at him.

"You really okay?" He asked. I smiled, as sweet as it was I didn't want to talk about it.

"You really wanna have a chick-flick moment? I'll be fine."

"Cora, you get that this isn't some normal break up right?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, Dean. I realize this isn't some normal fight. I realize this isn't some normal breakup. How could I not? I can literally feel him in my head, unless I push It back, but then I just feel completely wrong like a piece of me is missing. And even when I do manage to push that back, there is this constant fucking pull in my stomach to go find him and be near to him." I responded angrily. Dean quirked an eyebrow.

"Alright. So how do we handle this? Because if Derek dies, so do you, and that's not something I'm willing to let happen." Dean told me pushing my hair back behind my ear. I sighed and leaned forward wrapping my arms around his waist.

"I don't know. I'm down for just winging it." I felt Dean let out a chuckle and I smiled.

I headed down into the bar just before 11:30, Dean and Sam following. Anna and I were going to be running the day shift, I had put Jessica on for the night, so that I could deal with the Tiffany situation.

"Why's your aura so wonky? And why the hell are you wearing a cast." Anna asked as I approached her. I sighed.

"Peter Hale's the Alpha, Derek's working with him. Peter broke my arm." I told her. Her mouth dropped and she made a noise as if to say something, but thought better of it. She glanced behind me to see Sam and Dean sitting at the bar. She groaned.

"Please tell me you didn't sleep with Dean." I rolled my eyes.

"I honestly probably couldn't have if I wanted to. Have some faith in me Anna Banana." She rolled her eyes at the nickname, but her head perked up.

"Does that mean I can hop on that now?" She asked. I barked out a laugh as I grabbed the boys some beers.

"You can try. Dean thinks witches are skeevy." I told her. She smirked.

"I always did love a challenge." I chuckled and she followed me over to the boys as I sat their beers down in front of them. Sam looked up from his laptop and smiled.

"Hey Anna." Sam smiled widely at the girl. Dean gave her a wary smile and took a sip of his beer.

"Hey boys, how ya been?" She asked. I looked around. There was literally no one else in the bar. Hopefully that changed soon.

"Good, just busy." Anna nodded in understanding as Sam spoke. I pulled myself out a beer and took a sip.

"So, word on the supernatural grapevine is you got yanked out of pit, by one of the big guys feathered friends." Anna blurted as she leaned onto the counter in front of Dean. I choked on my beer trying to stifle a laugh at the surprised look on Dean's face.

"Hear that from your demon buddies." Anna rolled her eyes.

"Oh, c'mon Dean. You know I don't dabble in the dark. Besides even if I did, earth magic has its own dark side that I wouldn't need any demons for."

"Yeah Dean. Don't be prejudice." I told him with a smirk. Dean glared at me.

"I'm not prejudice." Dean grumbled taking a sip of his beer.

"Maybe you should get to know me a bit better, sugar." Anna winked at him. "You might like me." She turned and walked away and Dean looked a little dumbfounded. I laughed and Sam did as well at the look on Dean's face.

"Did she just flirt with me?" I quirked an eyebrow.

"Aww, what's the matter Dean-o. Losing your touch?" I asked. He glared at me.

"I don't get how you can be friends with a witch." I rolled my eyes.

"I don't get how you can be so simple minded. Dean, you can grasp the fact that werewolves aren't all bad, you and Laura used to get along great. So why can't you grasp the fact that all witches aren't bad?" I asked crossing my arms and eyeing him down with a stern look.

"It's diff-" I cut him off.

"No, it's not. Anna has helped me with a lot through the years. Earth magic is a lot different than what you're used to. It's not the warped thing that demons and their witch lackey's make it to be. Anna was born this way, and she has done a lot of good with it, trust me." I told him. Dean nodded and became lost in thought.

The door opened right at 11:30 and in strolled Tiffany. She smiled and waved at me before heading towards the register to punch in. I headed there as well and stopped her before she could. I pulled an envelope out of my back pocket and handed it to her.

"What's this?" She asked curiously glancing at me and Anna who now stood behind me.

"Your check." I responded.

"But the pay period isn't done yet?"

"No, but you are." She blinked at me.

"Excuse me?"

"Anna gave you warnings about calling in right before your shift. Two days ago, you called in right as your shift was about to start. I can't have unreliable people working in my bar. I'm sorry, but you're fired."

"You can't do this!" The girl exclaimed I rolled my eyes.

"Pretty sure me being the boss means I can."

"I'll sue! This is unfair!" She told me angrily. I rolled my eyes.

"Go ahead. I have the two signed warnings that you received. You really think you have a case go ahead and try."

She opened up her mouth to respond, but thought better of it. She turned on her heels and stormed out angrily. I turned to Anna.

"Well that went well. Think she'll actually try suing?" I shook my head.

"No. She's not that dumb." Anna nodded.

"You know how hard it's going to be to run food with a broken arm?" Anna asked. I sighed and nodded.

"Yeah probably pretty goddamn difficult. Fucking Peter." I scowled out. Anna let out a laugh.

"Maybe you should just stay behind the bar today."

The door opened and a few customers strolled in heading towards a table. Anna grabbed a couple menus and headed over. I pulled my phone out as it went off and glanced at the text from my sister.

I have a date tonight. Come help me get ready later? I smiled and sent back an affirmative.

I strolled into, Mellissa and Scott's at around 5:30. I waved to Scott as I passed his room and headed towards Mellissa's. She was standing in her room staring at two outfits on the bed as I walked in.

"Go with the blue top and black pants. That color blue always complemented your skin tone well." I told her taking a seat on the bed. She nodded.

"Thanks for doing this, Cora. It's been so long since I've been on a date." I smiled.

"No problemo, sister. So, tell me about the guy." She smiled as she began getting dressed.

"He's a drug rep. He came into the hospital today. He's handsome, and funny. We started talking and when he asked me out, I couldn't say no." I smiled at her once she was done.

"Aww. I'm happy for you. What do you want me to help with?" I asked.

"Hair and makeup?" She questioned. I nodded.

"I think we should blow dry your hair a little then let it naturally go and we'll just pin some of it back." She nodded.

"We'll go light on your make up too, do a natural, but sexy look." She nodded again. "Alright, you start blow drying I'm gonna go grab a drink, you want anything?" I asked. She shook her head and headed into the bathroom to get started. I knew it would take her a little bit, to blow dry her hair seeing as it was so thick and curly. I headed into the kitchen and grabbed a can of coke and headed out to my truck. I poured the coke into my insulated cup and grabbed some Jack Daniels out of the back adding that as well. I grabbed my cigarettes and lit one taking a long drag.

I was halfway done with the cigarette when a grey SUV like car pulled up. I quirked an eyebrow as the youngest Argent exited the vehicle. She waved shyly at me and headed towards me. I took another drag of the cigarette and quirked an eyebrow.

"Hi, Cora right?" She asked. I nodded.

"Allison?" I questioned taking another drag. She nodded and shifted nervously on her feet. I smirked.

"Is Scott home?"

"Mmm, I thought you dumped him?" She looked sheepish. I tossed my cigarette on the ground and stomped it out.

"I did, but we're still kind of friends, and I just really need to talk to him." I eyed her. I motioned her to follow me as I headed towards the front door. I took a drink of my cup as I led her into the house.

"Scott's in his room. First door on the left up the stairs." I told her.

"Thank you." I nodded.

"Tell your Aunt Kate I said hello." I told her as she headed up the stairs. She stopped and turned to look at me.

"You know Kate?" She asked. I headed up the stairs to her and continued past her as I answered.

"Yeah, I met her back when she lived here about six or so years ago. She was dating my friend Derek Hale."

"Wait what?" Allison exclaimed as I just continued walking a smirk on my face. When I made it back to Mellissa's room I made quick work of her hair and makeup. She smiled at the end result.

"Wow. Thank you so much." She told me giving me a hug.

"You're welcome, Mel. Have you told Scott you're going?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No, I'll go do that now. He'll be here soon." I followed Mellissa to Scott's room and chuckled as she burst through the door.

"Hey, Scott, I'm coming home late tonight –" She paused at the look on Scott's face. "what? What - what's wrong? Is it - is it my hair, makeup?" She asked worriedly as I leaned up against the door frame behind her.

"No. No, nothing. You look beautiful." Scott assured her with a smile.

"You look amazing." Allison added.

"Amazing. Why do you look amazing?" Scott asked suspiciously, not used to seeing his mother all done up.

"Because, amazingly, I'm having dinner for once with a member of the male gender who's over the age of 16." I smiled as did Scott at his mother's answer.

"Who?"

"Uh, it's a medical rep that came into the hospital, today. Yeah, we just kinda started talking, and the next thing I know, I'm saying yes to dinner and - I'm really hating myself for skipping the gym last week." I snorted.

"Oh, shut up. I hope I look that good at your age." I told her.

"What - medical rep?" Scott asked as the doorbell rang. Mellissa glanced back at me.

"That medical rep. And, uh, I'm not - I'm not ready. I'm not ready. I'm not done, I'm not ready, so if you could please just get the - get the door and talk with him, okay, just - Be nice." She told Scott as she rushed from the room.

"Just one minute, okay?" Scott told Allison as he headed out of the room, I followed behind him. As we approached the door Scott stopped hand inches from grabbing the door handle. He looked up at the door. I quirked an eyebrow.

"What the hell are you doing?" I questioned. He pulled his hand back and continued to eye the door warily. The doorbell rang again.

"Scott! Get the door." Mellissa called from upstairs. I looked between Scott and the door realizing something was wrong.

"Scott what's wrong? Who is it?" My nephew backed up pushing me a few steps back with him. The doorbell rang again.

"Scott! For the love of God, please!" Mellissa's irritated voice drifted down the stairs.

Scott took a step towards the door, but the nob began to turn and I grabbed his arm. Scott reached for it to stop it, but the door pushed open. Scott pulled it open the rest of the way, but no one was there. I narrowed my eyes. Scott turned to look at me before we both turned to look at Mellissa who stood at the top of the stairs.

"Hey. What are you doing? Aren't you gonna invite him in?" Mel asked as she bent down so she could see us. We turned back to the door and I glared at Peter.

"Hello there." The Alpha said with a smirk.

"Oh fuck no." I growled out as Scott moved forward to slam the door. Peter stopped him however causing Scott to send me a panicked look.

"Really? Slam the door in my face? Come on, Scott. Take a second to think that through."

"I'll tell her." Scott breathed out as I reached behind me to pull my gun from its holster.

"That I used to be a catatonic invalid with burns covering half my face? Good luck with that." I pulled my gun from behind my back and aimed it at Peter.

"What are you going to do Cora? Shoot me on your sisters porch. Doesn't seem that smart to me? How're you going to explain that one?" Peter asked. I scowled at him, but lowered the gun and tucked it back into my jeans.

"If you hurt her, if you even touch her –"

"Scott, if I may interrupt your listing of the top five most impotent - sounding threats for a moment, try and remember that I've been in a coma for six years. Don't you think I'd like to have dinner with a beautiful woman?"

"You're so full of shit." I spat out at him.

"Just - just half a second. Sorry." Mellissa called out from behind us.

"Or maybe - You think that I've come up with an idea. Like how it might be easier to convince you to be part of the pack - if your mother is too." Scott looked worriedly at me as Peter started stepping into the house. I grabbed Scott and pulled him back away from the Alpha.

"You need to understand how much more powerful we are together - You and me and Derek. Did you know that some of the most successful military operations during the second world war were the German U - boat attacks? Do you know what they called them? Wolf packs. Did you know that? Or are you failing history as well?" Scott glared at Peter.

"I know the Germans lost the war." Scott responded angrily.

"I think you'll find that most historians would argue that as a failure of leadership. And trust me, we don't have that problem here." I snorted at Peter.

"I think that's a matter of opinion." I snapped. Mellissa approached us at then.

"I'm ready, I'm ready. Sorry again." She said with a nervous chuckle. Peter slapped on a smile as if we had just been having the nicest conversation and I scowled at him from behind Mellissa's back as he held and arm out towards her leading her towards the door.

"Mom –" Scott said stepping towards them as they reached the threshold. Mellissa and Peter stopped turning to look at Scott.

"Yes? Sweetheart?" She asked sending him a 'don't fuck this up' look. Scott looked to me for a moment before answering.

"Have a good time." He finally decided on. Mellissa smiled at him and nodded before turning back around and following her out.

"Call Stiles. I have a plan." I told Scott as I watched the couple pull out of the driveway. I pulled out my phone and sent a text to Dean.

Peter's trying to take Mel on a date. I'm going to sabotage it with Scott. Be back late.

Scott and I watched from two cars back as Stiles slammed into Peter's parked car with his Jeep. Mel exited the vehicle and slammed the door letting out a sarcastic laugh.

"Oh, are you kidding me? Stiles!" She yelled angrily.

"Mrs. McCall?"

"Yes!"

"Wow, this is - this is just crazy. What a coincidence, huh?" Stiles said playing dumb.

"Ha ha –"

"I mean - I do not know what happened. You guys just came out of nowhere." Stiles told her.

"Came out of nowhere! We were parked on the side of the road, Stiles." Mel snapped.

"How crazy is that? I mean, we should probably call the cops, you know, do like an accident report thing." Stiles responded. I snickered. Leave it to Stiles to provide the best distraction.

"I don't think that's necessary." Peter interjected.

"Are you sure? I think I'm feeling a little whiplash." Stiles said rubbing at his neck.

"Whiplash? You hit us!"

"I don't know - there's something definitely wrong with my neck." I turned from the conversation to Scott who seemed to be concentrating on something else.

"Scott, what is it?" I asked. The boys eyes went wide and he turned to me grabbing my good arm and pulling me towards the truck.

"Derek's going to kill Jackson!" He rushed out. My eyes narrowed and I picked up my pace. When we reached the truck I quickly threw it into gear racing off allowing the bond to lead me to Derek.

When we reached the Hale driveway I stopped halfway up.

"We go from foot here on out." I told Scott climbing out of the truck and pulling out my gun. We circled around to the back and snuck in. It was a lot harder for me than it should have been seeing as I only had one good arm, fucking Peter.

"I'll never say another word again. I'll leave Scott alone. Please, you can't do this! Please! I - I don't deserve it." I heard Jackson cry as I snuck through the house. Scott scaled the wall and was going to enter from the top of the stair case. I was praying that Derek was to focused on Jackson to notice me through the bond.

"I think you do." Derek responded and I scowled tightening my hold on the gun.

"N – no!"

"Look around you! Wouldn't there be someone here trying to save you? There's no one here. There is a reason. No one cares that you drive an expensive car. No one cares that you have perfect hair, and no one cares that you're captain of the lacrosse team." I snuck further towards the scene as I heard Scott's voice.

"Excuse me. Co - captain." He said before leaping from the top of the stairs, and landing between Jackson and Derek. Scott and Derek both looked to each other shifted into their wolf forms.

"Move!" Derek yelled at my nephew. I reached the edge of the staircase.

"No."

"Fine. I'll kill you too." Derek responded. I showed myself then, rushing between the two, gun up and pointed at Derek. He looked at me surprised.

"You gonna kill me too, D? Cause that's the only way I'm letting you go down that road."

"Get out of the way, Cora!" He growled out. I scowled.

"No! Get your head out of your ass. Jackson is an innocent. You go down this road, and there isn't any coming back from it Derek!" He stepped closer to me so that the gun was pressed against his chest and tears welled up in my eyes.

"Derek please, don't make me do this. I love you." Derek's eyes softened and his hand reached up splaying against my mark. I could feel his unease and the doubt rushing through him, but I could also feel the anger towards all of the people from the fire and that outweighed everything else.

"Jackson had nothing to do with the fire, Derek. Let him go." I said softly. Derek went to respond, but the sound of an arrow whizzing into the room caused us to freeze.

"Cover your eyes!" Derek yelled, grabbing me and slamming me down onto the floor covering his body with mine. I groaned as I landed on my bad arm and pushed Derek off of me as the flash bulb went off. Derek grabbed me and dragged me into the corner as bullets started going off. I saw Scott get hit and cried out.

"Scott! Go! Run!" Derek yelled out at the boy, but he was dazed from being shot. Derek looked to me before rushing to Scott and grabbing him. He picked him up and pushed him towards the back of the house. Derek headed to the front door and stood in front of it.

"I love you." He told me before rushing out and letting out a loud roar. I rolled my eyes. He was fucking stupid if he thought I was letting him go out there alone. I stood and followed after him. I saw him running towards one of the Argents, drawing the fire away from the house, which was good because it allowed me to line up a shot, and pop the asshole with the assault rifle in the head before rushing out after the next person. Derek took down the one he went after and I noticed Kate standing at the edge watching everything with an amused smile.

One of the other Argent's fired a round off at me. I rolled my eyes when he missed and fired hitting him in the leg. He dropped to the ground. Kate glared at me and I pulled up firing off my last few rounds at her. I smirked as the last one hit her shoulder. However, the victory was short lived as I felt something heavy hit the back of my head causing everything to go black.

Dean and Sam

"I know she said she'd be out late, but that was like six hours ago." Sam told Dean as he looked to his brother who's eyes were glued to the TV. Dean glanced at the clock on the wall.

"I'll try calling her." Dean said as he picked up his phone dialing Cora. As he waited the door opened and slammed shut. Dean glanced at Sam and clicked the phone shut. The brothers stood and made their way out to the kitchen.

Scott and Stiles came out of the bedroom.

"Have you guys seen Cora?" Scott asked panic lacing his voice. Dean and Sam exchanged looks.

"We thought she was with you sabotaging your mom's date." Sam answered. Scott shook his head.

"She was, but then we found out Derek was going to kill Jackson so we went to stop him. The Argents attacked and I haven't seen her since!" Scott yelled. Stiles placed his hand on his friends shoulder trying to calm her down.

"Fuck." Dean cursed pulling his phone out and trying to call the girl again. When he got no answer, he shot Sam a worried look.

"Alright. Everyone just calm down. Dean and I will go out and see if we can find her. You two go home, we'll let you know if we find anything." Sam told them handing them a piece of paper with his phone number on it. Scott put the number in his phone and called it before hanging up so that Sam would have his number.

"Don't worry kid. We'll find her." Dean told Scott as he ushered the boys out of the house. Once they were gone Sam turned to Dean.

"Where do we start? The Argent's or the Hale House?" Sam questioned. Dean headed to the table and grabbed his keys.

"Let's start at Hale's for all we know she could be there and hurt or something." The older Winchester said as he headed towards the door. Sam nodded and followed his brother out.
