Here's the boss battle with Tiny.
Near the end of the battle I strongly recommend listening to Monster by Skillet

Chapter 4 When in Rome
Crash felt his vision clear when he found himself standing in the center of a large arena.
Within the stands, Crash could see numerous civilians, and a large number of Cortex's minions waiting for a bloodshed event. Crash then noticed Tiny, who was adorned in Roman armor, chained to some pillars overlooking the pit.
"Well Tiny, it looks like you want another beat down." Crash grinned, confident.
"Tiny rip Crash to pieces!" Tiny roared.
The sound of trumpets played; as everyone turned their attention toward the box suite right above the platform Tiny was chained to.
Cortex was positioned in the suite, ready to address the crowd. Crash looked at him, fire burning in his emerald eyes.
"Subjects, I find this scoundrel of a youth guilty of treason against the rule of Cortex. And hereby sentence him to death." Cortex looked at Crash right in the eyes as he said this.
The crowd roared with cheers as Cortex smiled and waved towards the violent obsessed people.
Crash clenched his fists, but kept his face was expressionless.
"My warrior, Tiny Tiger, will give you a show that you will never forget."
The crowds cheered again, waiting for the blood bath.
Tiny growled fiercely; ripping the chains that bound him from the pillars.
The crowds got wilder.
Crash grinded his teeth, waiting for Tiny to make his move.
Tiny picked up a dangerous looking trident for his weapon, crouching low.
"Oh and Tiny! One more thing, make sure it's bloody." Cortex commanded, sitting in a plush chair in the suite above, a sinister smile running across his face.
"Tiny obey."
"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!"
"TINY SMASH CRASH!"
Tiny jumped off the platform with full force charging towards the boy. Crash immediately slid out of the way. Crash noticed the platform that would to reach Cortex, where he could beat the crap out of him. But just as he was about to jump there, Valerie and Midori jumped to the platform, dressed a Roman maidens and were armed with their dangerous weapons.
"Don't even try it, bandicoot." Midori threatened, aiming her samurai sword at him.
"Fight your opponent or instant death… Your choice." Valerie growled.
Crash looked at the females, who were glowering at him. He then looked at Tiny, who wanted nothing more but to rip Crash to shreds. He finally rested his eyes on Cortex, who just smirked at him.
"You sick bastard!" Crash growled, looking at his mortal enemy directly in the eye.
"Ladies, send him back into the arena." Cortex ordered.
Valerie shoved the bandicoot back into the pit.
Crash recovered just enough to see Tiny Charging towards him.
The bulking tiger jumped into the air and landed hard with thoughts that Crash would be crushed, however Crash was much faster and was able to move before Tiny could hit the ground.
Suddenly Tiny aimmed his trident at Crash. Crash saw this, and stuck his tongue out before cautiously moving out of the way. Tiny landed but the trident was stuck and he was using all of his strength to pull it out; not noticing that Crash had seen the opportunity to ram into Tiny, knocking him down.
The crowd booed at Crash; as they were hoping to see Tiny turn him into a bloody pulp.
Tiny regained composure and jumped back up to the platform.
"Tiny get Crash!" He roared.
Cortex sighed. "Release the lions."
Valerie pressed a button at one edge of the wall. From the dark entrances in front of the bandicoot, dozens of lions came pouring out towards him.
Crash casually jumped making sure no lions could get him. One lion came close to eating him whole, but Crash jumped landing on the other side.
Finally, the lions were cleared from the arena, giving Crash an opportunity to catch his breath.
Tiny crouched low, ready to jump back in the arena. The bandicoot looked up at him, his eyes fixed into a dark glare.
Suddenly, the tiger jumped back into arena at full speed, chasing after Crash. Tiny's vibrations from the stomping on the ground, were making it harder for Crash to move quickly. Tiny then raised his trident in the air ready to strike. Crash without thinking, slid just as the trident hit the ground becoming stuck again. Crash took the opportunity to spin into the tiger, knocking him to the ground. The crowd once again booed.
Tiny jumped back up to the platforms, almost knocking Valerie over. Midori pulled the lever to unleash more lions.
This time, the lions came out in endless pours, leaving Crash unnerved at no end. Crash was jumping his way past trying to find a small platform that he could stand on until the horde was gone. He found a small nitch at one corner of the arena, staying still until all the lions were gone.
Once the lions were gone, Crash decided stay onthe small platform, with hopes that Tiny wouldn't be able to reach him. Then Crash would attack once the tiger got tired. However, Midori jumped from the platform, grabbed Crash by the legs and dragged him back into the arena. All before cutting him in the side; the side that was still healing from the wires and the cattle prod.
Crash winced as he looked up at the minion, with a murderous glare in her eyes.
"Fight your opponent or die." She snarled.
Valerie watching from the platform, looked slightly uneasy by this coarse of action.
"Okay, okay." Crash grunted, when he felt something start to burn.
"Good." Midori responded coldly, before returning to her spot on the platform.
Tiny went after Crash again. Crash stayed ahead, but the burning feeling became stronger with each passing second. Before he could grasp what happened, Tiny had caught up with him and threw him against the wall of the arena. Crash looked towards the tiger in a daze, but the burning was about to boil.
"Tiny spear Crash!"
Finally, the burning finally took full affect as Crash let out a scream of pure rage before he performed a round house kick to Tiny's face, knocking him off his feet. But Crash still wasn't satisfied; grabbing the tiger and proceeded to punch him with all the strength he had. Everyone watched with pure surprise. Crash continued until Tiny finally lost consciousness; he would not kill him, but he wanted Tiny to understand the meaning of pain. Crash breathed heavily, as he wiped his head from sweat.
Cortex, who had witnessed everything, decided to cause trouble.
"Crash you really out did yourself with Tiny. His recovery is going to be quite a long one. I must suggest that will be more reasonable with my minions next time, and save your angst against someone of more value." The scientist said, swallowing the laugh he felt coming up his throat.
Crash slowly raised his head. He had his usually goofy grin, but his eyes showed fire.
"Your right, your right… YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH, I'LL KILL YOU!" Crash screamed, before he attempted to lunge towards his enemy. However, Aku used his magic to hold him.
"Crash, now is not the time, you'll get yourself killed." The floating mask begged.
"He's right Crash, your impulsiveness is one of your worst traits, don't add it as your downfall." Cortex mocked.
Crash snarled, trying to reach the scientist.
Cortex laughed wickedly as he warped from the arena. Soon the other minions warped away and the civilians left the Colisuem.
Crash was finally freed from the masks hold.
"You okay?" Aku asked.
"In all honesty…no!"
"Why?"
"Why wouldn't you let me go after Cortex?" Crash growled.
"It would have been suicide, there were to many minions around, you would have been outnumbered."
"Sigh…your right… It's just he's getting under my skin."
"Just focus on getting the crystals; you'll get revenge on Cortex soon enough."
Crash smiled. "Yeah and I did give Tiny a good beating didn't I?"
"I just don't want to see that side of you again."
"I'll try to keep it under control."
"Come, we need to collect more the crystals." The two were gone.
In the shadows stood a lone figure, looking upon the vast shadows of the arena. After witnessing the battle, the being understood what needed to be done as they ran off.
I wasn't a fan of this chapter, but it keeps the plot going. Plus anyone curious as to who mysterious figure was. If you read Beginnings, you may have clue.
