"Shampoo, I don't think this is a good idea," said Mousse.
"Stupid, this perfect plan," said Shampoo.
Shampoo happily road her bike towards the Tendo home, running over Mousse in the process. It was a bright sunny day outside. It was the perfect day for Nerima to get anything but peace and quiet.
Sensing Ranma, she jumped off her bike and kicked through the wall of the dojo.
Ranma was busy dodging Akane's attacks while Niseko was watching from the side.
"Nihao, Ranma. Shampoo make you too too delicious ramen," she said.
Shampoo smiled; little did Ranma know that one of the noodles was a special noodle that made one fall in love with the first person that said their name.
"No thanks, I'm not hungry right now," said Ranma.
Then Niseko took the bowl from Shampoo, "I could eat."
Niseko quickly devoured the bowl of ramen without a second thought.
"AIYA, that food not for you," yelled Shampoo.
"Ranma didn't want it," said Niseko.
Suddenly, Mousse ran through the hole in the wall yelling, "Ranma don't eat the ramen."
"What's wrong with the ramen? It tasted fine to me," said Niseko.
"Rude girl eat ramen instead," said Shampoo.
Mousse breathed a sigh of relief. Akane walked up to Shampoo, "That ramen wouldn't happen to contain another love potion would it?"
"It none your business," said Shampoo.
"Wait, what does she mean by love potion?" asked an alarmed Niseko.
Then Kasumi walked into the dojo, "Ranma, Akane, Niseko, lunch is ready. Oh, Mousse and Shampoo are here too. It's a good thing I made extra."
"I'm sure your food will be delicious Kasumi," said Niseko.
As Kasumi walked out, Niseko was the first to follow her. Ranma and Akane could practically see the cartoon hearts floating over her head.
"How long does that potion last," asked Ranma.
Mousse sighed, "A day."
"It is bound to be a long one," said Akane.
"You can say that again," said Ranma.
Shampoo simply gritted her teeth at another failed plan.
The dark warrior meanwhile was in the process of summoning his latest demon.
"I command the darkness to send fourth Madam Woe to do my bidding," he said.
Out of the darkness floated a woman in a white Noh mask that had a blue jewel on its forehead. She had long blue hair tied into two braids. She wore white robes and and had long purple finger nails.
Madam Woe floated towards the dark warrior, bowing.
Kage smiled, "Madam Woe, your magic jewel can control the elements. With it, you will go turn Nerima and use your elemental powers to tear the power rangers apart."
Madam Woe bowed, "Yes, my lord. All my powers are at your command."
"Why is she called Madam Woe," asked Masara.
Madam Woe looked over at Masara, floated towards him and picked him up off his fee, "It's because I bring woe to anyone I touch."
With that, Madam Woe vanished through the mirror.
Masara caught his breath, "She kinda reminds me of old lady Kiema."
Suddenly a foot smashed into Masara's chin.
"Who are you calling old," yelled Kiema.
Ryoga leaped off a tree branch and brought his umbrella down on a large boulder. In the blink of an eye, the boulder was turned to rubble. Ryoga was currently training by a river in the mountains. He sighed, it was so lonely without Akari. Heck, even Ranma would be welcomed company right now.
He went to the river to get some water. As he filled a water bottle with liquid, he noticed something. A white noh mask was at the bottom of the river. What was something like that doing here?
Suddenly, the eyes of the mask began to glow an eerie blue. Then out of the water, burst a woman in white robes.
"You will be the perfect bait to capture the other rangers with," she said.
"Yeah right," said Ryoga.
Ryoga reached for his morpher but Madam Woe was already coming towards him. Ryoga quickly dodged to the side as Madam Woe tried to slash him with her nails.
Her eyes began to glow and the tips of her hair began to freeze. Then her hair shot at Ryoga like spears. Ryoga quickly swiped at them with his umbrella, shattering the ice but he was still caught by the hair.
As Madam Woe's hair wrapped around him, Ryoga struggled and finally pressed the red button on his morpher.
After lunch, Mousse and Shampoo returned to the Cat Café.
While Mousse was busy mopping the floors, he said, "I don't know why you keep trying to trick Ranma into loving you. What's so special about him?"
Shampoo who was busy serving customers replied, "It none your business stupid."
"You know tricking Ranma is only going to make him mad and not want anything to do with you".
"I said it none your business."
"Fine, but if Ranma knew the real you who is warm and caring, then you wouldn't need to trick him."
Shampoo suddenly stopped. She turned towards Mousse and began walking in his direction.
"Mousse think Shampoo warm and caring?" she said.
Shampoo was right in front of Mousse. Mousse was blushing, "You know I do. I would give anything to be the one you were stalking."
Shampoo placed her hand on Mousse's chest and felt his heart beating rapidly.
Then she pushed him into his mop bucket, "Stupid Mousse."
Mousse, now a duck, angrily quacked his frustrations at Shampoo.
"Get back to work you two," yelled Cologne from the kitchen. But before anything else happened, Shampoo felt her morpher vibrate. She quickly ran into the kitchen and pressed the red button on her morpher.
Ryoga was on the other end, "If anyone can hear me, I could use some help."
Shampoo quickly grabbed a kettle of hot water off the stove and tossed it towards Mousse, "We go now".
"Lunch was so good. I could eat your cooking forever Kasumi," said Niseko.
"You're such a sweet girl," said Kasumi with her usual smile.
Akane was rubbing her temples. On one hand, it was good that it was not Ranma, on the other, Niseko wasn't much better. How could this day get any worse?
Ranma walked into the room, "Akane, Ryoga just called. He said there was some trouble he needed help with."
Akane sighed, "Great, just what I needed."
Ranma looked at Kasumi. Niseko was busy giving her a back rub. "Should we leave them alone?"
"Let's just go. The sooner we help Ryoga, the sooner we can get back," said Akane.
Ranma and Akane quickly left the house and ran into the empty dojo.
They removed their morphers from their pockets and pressed the blue buttons. Soon, red and yellow lights surrounded them and within seconds, they were teleported to a campsite high in the mountains.
Akane called out, "Ryoga, where are you?"
Ranma and Akane looked over to see Ryoga tied to a tree.
Ryoga yelled, "Akane run, it's a trap."
"Ryoga, what happened?" asked Ranma.
"This blue haired woman ambushed me while I was training," said Ryoga.
Ranma quickly untied him, "Where is she now?"
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew Ranma, Akane, and Ryoga off their feet and into the trees.
"You've fallen right into my trap. Now I will bring woe to all of you pathetic little power rangers," laughed Madam Woe.
"That the one who attacked me," said Ryoga.
Ranma, Akane, and Ryoga quickly grabbed their morphers, "We need Sheng Xiao power NOW".
Seconds after transforming, Madam Woe flew at them. Catching them off guard, Madam Woe slashed through the rangers with her nails.
As they recovered, Ranma noticed Madam Woe spread her arms.
"Brace yourselves guys," shouted Ranma.
Suddenly, large boulders burst from the ground beneath them.
"Ryoga, use your breaking point," said Ranma.
"Right, bakusai tenketsu," shouted Ryoga while shattering the boulders with his fingers.
"Ranma look out," said Akane.
Madam Woe was motioning her hands towards the river. Effortlessly, she gathered water into her hands and sent a large blast of water towards Ranma.
Ranma took the blast head on and the force sent him crashing into a tree. As Ranma got up, he noticed something, "Hey I guess water doesn't affect me when I'm morphed."
"That's good to know," said Ryoga.
"Why's that good to know," asked Akane, looking at Ryoga.
"Uh…no reason,"
Then the wind started blowing with much greater force and the water from the river was mixing into it.
A moment later, the three rangers were surrounded and forced together by strong gusts of wind.
"I can't move," said Akane.
Madam Woe laughed, "My tornado will keep you from moving around. Is the air cold? Soon you will be nothing more than a frozen statue."
Ranma cursed under his breath. The air was getting colder. He looked around and saw small icicles forming on Akane and Ryoga. He felt his muscles getting slower, soon he would not be able to move at all. Unfortunately, all he could do was listen to Madam Woe's laughter.
A minute later, the three rangers were encased in a large block of ice.
Meanwhile, Shampoo and Mousse were in the alley behind the Cat Café getting ready to take off. Shampoo was already fidgeting. She always fidgeted a little before a fight. It was one of the many traits about her that Mousse found cute
"The others aren't answering. Do you think something happened?" said Mousse.
"Shampoo need to help if Ranma in trouble," said Shampoo
Suddenly, thousands of feathers rained down from the sky.
"Hit the deck," yelled Mousse as they ran for cover.
As Mousse and Shampoo hid underneath a bush, their attackers revealed themselves.
"You're a horrible shot," said Masara.
"Hey, we we're only supposed to slow them down," said Koruma.
"Alright, on three we swoop down and attack."
"Why three?"
"That's just how we do it."
"Why not five?"
"Is this your first fight?"
The two birdmen stared at each other with mutual annoyance. That is when heavy chains burst from the bushes, warping around Koruma and Masara's legs.
"I got them," said Mousse, while yanking the chain.
As the birdmen landed hard on the ground, Shampoo splashed them with cold water, making them human.
"I guess we're going to have to do this the hard way," said Koruma drawing his sword while Masara grabbed his bow.
Shampoo and Mousse quickly leaped to attack. Mousse threw several egg bombs, disorienting Koruma while Shampoo landed a hard kick onto the side of Masara's face.
Masara quickly fired several arrows, which Shampoo easily dodged.
In response, Shampoo kneed Masara in the stomach. The she did a backflip, kicking him in the chin and knocking him out.
Koruma brought his sword down on Mousse who easily blocked it with a pair of blades that extended from his sleeves.
Mousse quickly kicked Koruma away. Then as Koruma attacked again, Mousse unleashed a cloud of white smoke from his robes and disappeared.
"Where did he run off too," said Koruma.
"Behind you," said Mousse.
Koruma turned around only to be met with a fist in his face.
With their opponents defeated, Mousse and Shampoo regrouped. Mousse was quick to tie up Koruma and Masara with his chains.
"Those two sure went down easy," said Mousse.
"Weaklings should not mess with amazons," said Shampoo.
Mousse looked at the two birdmen, "What did you two want anyway?"
"We were supposed to slow you down and tire you out," said Koruma.
"That all. You hardly even workout," said Shampoo.
Masara yelled, "Well as soon as we get out of these chains, we'll give you a real fight."
Mousse and Shampoo watched in amusement as Koruma and Masara struggled to get free. But after a minute they decided they had to go.
Mousse and Shampoo then grabbed their mophers.
"We go help others now," said Shampoo.
"Right," said Mousse
"We need Sheng Xiao power NOW"
As the black and pink rangers' teleported away, Kasumi walked down the streets with Niseko walking behind her and happily carrying several grocery bags.
"So, are they gonna come back for us?" asked Masara.
When Mousse and Shampoo teleported to the campsite, they noticed that the air was very cold. It was then that they saw their friends encased in a large block of ice.
Shampoo shouted, "Aiya, what happen to Ranma."
Then Madam Woe floated towards them laughing, "The same thing that's going to happen to you."
Within the blink of an eye, Madam Woe was in front of them with large icicles hanging from her fingernails.
"Shampoo, duck," shouted Mousse as he threw one of the nunchuck clubs at Madam Woe.
Shampoo ducked in time as the club flew over her and wrapped around Madam Woe's torso. Mousse held onto the other nunchuck club tight as the cord retracted and brought him towards Madam Woe.
Using the force of the pull, Mousse delivered a powerful kick to Madam Woe's chest.
Madam Woe retaliated by scratching Mousse several times with her ice claws. She then summoned a large gust of wind and blew Mousse away.
With Madam Woe distracted, Shampoo summoned her chui and smashed the ice block containing the other rangers as hard as she could. Shampoo noticed a small hairline crack in the ice and raised her chui to strike once more.
"Oh no you don't," said Madam Woe.
Suddenly her long blue hair shot out and wrapped around Shampoo, pulling her away from the ice block.
"Blue demon should not mess with amazons," said Shampoo.
"I believe it's you who should not have messed with me," said Madam Woe.
Madam Woe whipped her hair back and forth, slamming Shampoo across the ground.
"Get away from my Shampoo," shouted Mousse as he grabbed the hair wrapped around Shampoo and tore it away.
As soon as Shampoo was safe, Mousse leaped towards Madam Woe. His hand shot out and wrapped around Madam Woe's throat. However, her hand was also wrapped around Mousse's throat as well.
"Give up black ranger. You can't win," said Madam Woe.
"I was about to say the same thing to you," said Mousse.
Suddenly, Mousse jumped up and kicked Madam Woe away with both legs.
Mousse regrouped with Shampoo who had recovered from the previous attack.
"Now you'll feel the sting of my anger," laughed Madam Woe.
She pointed her fingernails at the rangers and fired several large icicles in their direction. Mousse and Shampoo easily dodged the ice but just when they let their guard down, a blast of strong wind knocked them off their feet.
Mousse looked up to see Madam Woe descending upon him with a large spear made of stone.
Mousse' heart beat fast. He was trying to get his body to move, but it wouldn't. He was afraid it was going to all end here.
But then, Shampoo threw her chui towards Madam Woe. One chui smashed through the stone spear, turning it into gravel. The other struck Madam Woe in the side.
As Madam Woe recovered, Shampoo delivered a strong punch to her face.
"Mousse may be stupid blind duck but he Shampoo's friend. Shampoo destroy you for trying to harm him," said Shampoo
It was then that Shampoo noticed the blue jewel on Madam Woe's forehead. On a whim, she grabbed it and tore it off.
"No, my crystal. Give it back," shouted Madam Woe.
Madam Woe started slashing wildly at Shampoo with her nails.
"Mousse catch," shouted Shampoo as she tossed the crystal towards Mousse who caught it.
Madam Woe blew Shampoo away with a gust of wind and turned her attention towards Mousse.
Mousse quickly grabbed a rock from the ground and used it to smash Madam Woe's crystal to dust.
"No, my powers," screamed Madam Woe. She tried to summon water, wind, rock, anything but nothing was responding to her.
Shampoo used Madam Woe's distraction to grab her chui and hammer through the ice block. A minute and several hard swings later, the ice was gone and the other three rangers were free.
Ranma felt his body warming up, "We're free."
Ranma, Akane, and Ryoga summoned their weapons.
"Let's get her," shouted Akane.
Madam Woe was astounded, "You escaped."
"But you won't, Madam Woe," said Ryoga.
Ranma and Ryoga leaped up and jump kicked Madam Woe.
They were followed by Akane and Shampoo who hammered down into Madam Woe with their weapons.
Lastly, Mousse dashed forward and delivered a backflip kick, knocking Madam Woe on her back.
"Alright guys, let's bring' em together," said Ranma.
Akane and Shampoo took Mousse's nunchucks and stretched them apart. Shampoo placed her chui on the clubs. Then Akane placed her hammer down on the cord, followed by Ranma's spear and Ryoga's umbrella.
Ranma grabbed the umbrella/spear/hammer combo and pulled back as far as he could.
He shouted, "Zodiac sling FIRE."
Ranma then let go and the weapons began to glow in an intense light. They were followed by two large balls of chi that came from Shampoo's chui.
"Woe is me," cried Madam Woe as the blast hit her. She fell and dispersed into a cloud of black dust.
"IDIOTS" shouted Kage.
"Sorry" said Koruma and Masara. When they finally did return to the palace, Kage wrapped chains around their ankles and hung them from the ceiling upside down.
"All I asked you two to do was slow them down and you couldn't even do that. Can't you losers do anything right?"
"Sorry again."
"If you two fail me again, I will pluck every feather from your bodies."
Kage decided he was sick of looking at them and stormed out the room leaving Koruma and Masara hanging.
"You know, he's not as mad as I thought he'd be," said Koruma.
"I guess that's true," said Masara.
"Do you think he'll let us down soon?"
"No I don't. Why do you ask?"
"I have to go to the bathroom and I don't want to do it while hanging upside down."
When Ranma and Akane returned to the Tendo house, it was late. They were greeted by the sight of Niseko happily sweeping the floor.
Akane was the first to speak, "Uh…Niseko, why are you sweeping the floor?"
Niseko looked over and with a blush said, "Kasumi asked if I wouldn't mind helping her clean the house. Making Kasumi happy makes me happy."
With that, Niseko continued cleaning the floor.
"Just a few more hours and the love potion should wear off," said Ranma.
"I can't wait," said Akane.
"Maybe I should just take her home now."
Mousse and Shampoo said nothing as they entered the Cat Café.
"Were you able to destroy the demon?" asked Cologne.
"Yes great grandmother," said Shampoo.
"That's good. You two should rest now."
As Mousse and Shampoo walked up the stairs, Cologne pulled out a large, heavy, book she had acquired in her travels. The cover had a stylized lightning bolt on it.
She opened the book to the last page. Slowly, an illustration of the black and pink rangers fighting Madam Woe appeared.
"Interesting," said Cologne. Flipping backwards in the book, she saw what appeared to be the exploits of other warriors from the past. Finally, she saw the first page that had a picture of the first five warriors battling against what appeared to be demon in golden armor.
Cologne smiled, proud that her granddaughter and her friends were now a part of that history.
Meanwhile, Mousse collapsed on his bed, spent. He was ready to fall asleep when he heard a knock on his door.
He looked up, "Shampoo, did you want something?"
Shampoo mentally pushed herself forward, fearing that she would turn back in embarrassment at any moment. She still could not believe she admitted Mousse was her friend. Shampoo just hoped that the blind martial artist didn't take what she was about to ask too far.
"Mousse speak good Japanese yes," she said.
"I guess," said Mousse.
"Mousse teach Shampoo?"
Mousse wanted to run and hug Shampoo right there but then he thought for a second. Was this actually happening? Normally Shampoo wouldn't have anything to do with him. He noticed Shampoo start to leave.
"Never mind. Shampoo don't want stupid ducks help."
"No, wait. I'll teach you," said Mousse.
Shampoo paused. Then she turned back and smiled. Then she turned around and walked to her room. With any luck, Ranma would hopefully be impressed by her when she spoke better Japanese. Then again, from a certain angle Mousse was also kind of atractive.
Shampoo then slapped self, "NO, bad Shampoo."
The next day, Ranma slept till the afternoon. When he came down, he saw Akane sitting at the table, thumping through a magazine.
"Good morning," he said.
"It's the afternoon Ranma," said Akane.
"Have you heard from Niseko?"
"Yeah, she says the potion wore off during the night. She was very embarrassed about the whole ordeal."
"Did you tell her she'd have to get used to it if she's was going to live here."
"Of course."
Akane reached for her glass that was sitting on the table and took sip of the cold water inside. Then Kasumi walked in with a tray of cookies.
"Here you go. Niseko helped me make them yesterday," said Kasumi.
Ranma was the first to grab a cookie while Akane took another sip of water.
Kasumi was about to leave the room when she suddenly turned back, "By the way, do you suppose Niseko has a crush on me?"
Akane's eyes suddenly went wide and she spit out all the water in her mouth in shock. Usually Kasumi seemed oblivious to the crazy things that happened around them. Unfortunately, Ranma was in the way and the water was just cold enough to transform him into a girl.
Naturally this sparked an "Oh my," from Kasumi.
I know this chapter wasn't as long as the others but like I said in the beginning, the length of each chapter will vary.
I also decided to expand on Madam Woe's elemental powers being that I'm not limited by a budget. That's why her elemental powers are stronger than they were in the show. Also i didn't want to do another story where the rangers were teleported to another dimension so soon after chapter 4.
Anyway, I'm glad that people are enjoying this. Any suggestions on future chapters is always appreciated. And hopefully I'll have the next chapter up a little sooner. The only clue you get as to who the villain of the week will be is that it's someone from the Ranma universe.
