Ikuto: (zips his mouth and nods)

Chiyuri: okay here's the 3rd chapter enjoy :D

Chapter three: Realities

From outside they heard a loud noise, as though someone was shooting machine guns at the ground. Without hesitation Amu and Rima opened the window and looked outside. At the far end of the soccer field they found a boy about a year older then Amu. He had dark red eyes and black circles bellow them, a growl escaped his lips as he stood up facing Amu and Rima.

"Amu-chan" Rima whispered enough for only Amu to hear

The boy started running their eyes barely catching his movement, he moved from right to left gaining speed as he clawed his way through the building passing Amu and Rima until he landed on the roof of the building. Amu gasped as she looked up from the window to find the boy scanning the grounds. At the far distance two girls were chatting their laughter rang through the boy's ears as he jumped off from the roof regaining speed as he ran on the wall and to the ground.

Amu jumped from the window landing on both her arms and feet as she felt Rima land beside her. She ran to the other side of the building to find one of the girls in the vampire's grasp. Two other figures followed from behind Amu and Rima. Amu noticed them as Tadase and Kukai. They probably heard the commotion from outside. Kukai was the fastest so he went on ahead followed by Tadase and Amu, behind them was Rima trying her best to catch up.

"Let her go" Kukai said through his teeth as the four surrounded the vampire

The boy laughed as he straightened up the girl limp on his arms, probably fainted out of shock, "You can't lay a finger on me, I was sent from one of the pure bloods"

A growl escaped Kukai and Tadase's lips, Amu and Rima merely looked at each other wondering what it meant. So far she only knew that pure bloods were the ones who inherited their vampire blood directly from their parents. Tadase was a pure blood and at times they couldn't help but obey him. It was in their blood that they had this strong influence for other people to follow them. It was strange yet somewhat natural. That was one of the reasons why Tadase was made "King" of the Guardians.

"Who?" Tadase asked this time he straightened up as well his voice calm

"Wouldn't you like to know?" The boy asked in his mocking tone

"Tell me now!" Tadase yelled this time his voice was more demanding and fierce

"You have no influence on me, you're orders do not affect me" The vampire said as he grinned, "I'll just be taking her as a take out then"

The vampire then ran out of the circle and into the woods at the back of the dormitory. The limp girl slung on his back. Amu then started running as well but Tadase blocked her with his hand and shook his head, "But Tadase-kun! He's got her!" Amu said as she pointed towards the direction of the boy

"Like he said we cannot touch him" Kukai said his voice low and grave something amu wasn't used to, "He was sent by a pure blood, if we interfere or if we even kill him we could start a war between clans"

Amu still argued with Tadase and Kukai but they did not falter until finally Amu just kept quiet her eyes on the ground Kukai sighed and tried to explain things to Amu but she would not hear it. At the opposite site of the girl's dormitory a boy with blue hair stood his eyes were looking at the little group of vampires bellow him arguing. The pink haired girl took him by surprise his eyes glowed in excitement. She looked interesting to him, "So that's Hinamori Amu"

The next day classes just started and Amu got World history for first period. Amu couldn't help but yawn once in a while as the teacher started discussing the early pre-historic people as an introduction to their new lesson. Just as planned Kukai spoke to the student council about the recent disappearance of a 3rd year student just beside the girl's dormitory. Tadase erased the mind of the girl's friend which was with her last night and all seemed as though it was normal.

Kukai announced this morning that all students are to have an earlier curfew due to the current disappearance. The students took it seriously and it started to become the talk of the school in minutes.

After the bell rang for lunch Amu walked towards the cafeteria which was now filled with different students. A particular table caught her attention, surrounding it were several good looking boys and at the center was Rima. Amu then looked around trying to find a seat but every seat and table was taken. She sighed and went out through the back door which led to another field of grass where there were some trees. Amu decided to rest on one of the trees as she shut her eyes suddenly she didn't feel hungry anymore. She finally felt at peace. The whole night she wasn't able to shut an eye afraid that the vampire might come back. So she ended up doing rounds around the dormitories even though Tadase and Kukai and even Rima said that there was no need. Amu still insisted.

Suddenly a certain scent hit her it smelled spicy and delicious her throat started to burn craving for that certain scent that made her mouth water. Now Amu didn't want to open her eyes anymore for she knew who was standing in front of her and she was too afraid that once she'd open her eyes that would be the last time that she'd see him alive at least, "If you want to sleep, then I suggest that you go back to your dormitory"

His voice was soft and velvet just like Amu imagined. She opened her eyes and saw the perfect figure in front of her leaning towards her. Suddenly she was mesmerized by his beautiful blue eyes as if it was engulfing her completely. A few seconds later she snapped back to reality and saw how close they were. Her face grew completely red as she pushed the boy back and struggled to even out her breathing. The boy laughed.

"What's so funny?" Amu asked accusingly both of her hands on her red face

"I'm sorry" He said through chuckles as he offered his hand to Amu but she refused and stood up on her own. He raised an eyebrow and Amu shot him a look, "What's you're name?"

"Hinamori Amu 1st year freshmen"

"It's a pleasure then, Amu-chan" He smiled as he took Amu's hand and kissed it. Not too far away from them they heard shrieks and giggles. Amu looked at the direction and saw several girls watching them. The boy followed Amu's eyes and shook his head, "Don't mind them"

"You haven't told me you're name"

"My name is Tsukiyomi Ikuto, 3rd year junior"

"A third year…" Amu murmured as she looked at Ikuto again he seemed more like a 4th year then a 3rd year. Amu then heard footsteps from behind and this time she smelled a new scent, it was fragrant too a little mouth watering but the scent seemed to have been overlapped by Ikuto's scent.

The girl behind them spoke, "Ikuto"

Ikuto sighed and nodded, "Utau"

The name seemed familiar to Amu but she didn't pay much attention to it she quickly turned around to see a blond girl a little taller then Amu her hair was until her waist and all in all she looked as beautiful as a model. Amu had to keep herself from gasping at the sight, "My name's Hinamori Amu 1st year freshmen nice to meet you" Hinamori said as she bowed slightly knowing that the girl that stood in front of her was older then her.

"Y-yes my name's Hoshina Utau" Utau said as she glanced at Ikuto and Ikuto nodded

He then faced Amu, "It was a pleasure, Amu-chan" He said as he smiled and went off with Utau

"It's decided then" Kukai said as he arranged the papers in his hands, "Hinamori and Rima will do the first shift which will start at exactly 6:00pm-8:00pm then I and Tadase will do the next shift which will start from 8:00pm-10:00pm Sayuri and Kyo will take the shift from 10:00pm-12:00pm"

Everyone at the table nodded in agreement, "But Sayuri and Kyo you sure that it's okay to get the latest shift? Sayuri I could switch with you…"

"No, no it's okay, my classes start later than yours so it's only fair" Sayuri said as she smiled, Sayuri had long dark brown hair and brown eyes to match, her skin was flawless and her face was beautiful. The guy beside her, Kyo had orange hair and dark red eyes. They said that his eyes never returned back to normal when he turned to a vampire. He had a bored expression on his face as he nodded lightly in agreement with Sayuri

Amu was now in the Student Council's chamber if you might say. It was located at the far end of the garden beside the science building, it had an eerie feeling to it when you looked outside but then inside was amazing. Inside there was a small fireplace and a huge table where the Council Members were seated. Some parts of the roof were made out of glass so the light could penetrate it and out through the back there was a place were a small coffee table stood and two chairs which were surrounded by walls which were made with glass. This specific part of the chamber reminded Amu of the guardians.

"How about Amu and Rima it would be hard if they had to have a 3 hour shift when they're just adjusting to high school" Sayuri said she then turned to Tadase, "You too Tadase-kun"

"I don't mind" Rima said quietly and Amu nodded in agreement Tadase as well

"Alright then, that ends today's meeting, Amu-chan, Rima you don't have to attend tomorrow's meeting" Kukai said and Sayuri groaned in the background. That only meant one thing.

"Why not?" Amu asked

"Well there won't be anything important to discuss or do we'll just be checking the ballots and other things, it would be too much to ask of both of you since your not even part of the sc yet" Kukai said as he ruffled Amu's head and grinned

"Kuuukai" Amu complained as she took Kukai's hand off her head

"Don't worry you ain't missing anything" Sayuri said as she pouted and Kyo went with her out of the room

Ikuto walked out of his dorm room and to the halls of the guy's dormitory. It was around 7:15pm so everyone was probably studying or doing their assignments. On the other hand Ikuto didn't care whether he would pass or fail but for some reason he was still able to maintain his high grades even though he rarely or didn't even study. He only liked to sit on the roof and stare at the sky until he fell asleep.

"I K U TO" He heard from behind him and suddenly he felt two arms grab him from behind as another body slammed to his back. He turned around his face irritated as he saw a blond girl with a grin on her face. He sighed.

"Utau, girls aren't allowed in here after 6"

"Since when did you follow rules?"

Utau got him there he never followed the rules instead he had this urge to break them, "What if someone sees you here, you'll get in trouble too and you won't be able to perform in that concert, Sanjo-san won't like that"

Utau pouted as she let go of Ikuto and reached for something in her pocket, she then gave Ikuto the piece of paper and danced out of the hallway, "I'll see you tomo-rrow" She sang cheerfully

Ikuto looked at the paper and opened it reading its contents over and over again.

Ikuto,

I have a direct order from the head; he seems to have taken an interest in Hinamori Amu's abilities. I know it will be hard considering that she is surrounded by the sc as well as Hotori, Tadase we do not wish to wage war on the Hotori Clan yet and the first stage of our plan is far from complete so please be discreet. I have given this task to you because I know you will not fail me.

Sanjo-san,

PS. I will be coming this Saturday as Utau's manager, I expect to see your progress by then.

Ikuto sighed and shoved the piece of paper in his pocket; this was going to be a long school year.

Ikuto: what exactly are you thinking? (glares at Chiyuri)

Chiyuri: Oh you'll find out, but don't worry I still plan on making this fanfic Amuto :D

Ikuto: (nods in approval and snuggles close to Amu as he purrs)

Amu: (turns red as smoke starts to come out of her ears)

Chiyuri: (laughs at Amu's reaction but then quickly composes herself) okay sorry I couldn't put much Amuto yet but more will come ;) right now I still need to work on introducing Sanjo's plan and how Ikuto will slowly….Ahem! (stops before she reveals anything else) so now please read and review and I'll try to do my part by posting the next chapter as soon as I can :D
