Chapter Nine: Revelation
Normal POV
Amu lied on her back as a sigh escaped her lips, all of her belongings were scattered on the ground. A few minutes after she left her room the officers made a search through out the entire girl's dormitory. That included emptying of drawers' bags and closets which only meant that Amu would be re-placing all of her things into her closet and drawers…again.
Might as well fix this mess, she thought as she lazily stood up and started to fix her drawers first.
She shoved the picture frames into the drawers without looking at them, knowing that only dread would come upon her once she saw the pictures and memories from her past.
(Flashback)
Amu's POV
I bit my lip as I looked at Sanjo-san and the rest of them at the table. I just couldn't believe what they said…
"Amu" Sanjo-san prodded as she looked at me, "We have to erase their memories Amu-chan, once our enemies find out about your family there is a big possibility that they would come after them to get to you"
I looked at the only person who could give me sanity, but sadly just when I needed him he wasn't there.
"I…" I began as the words caught in my throat. Why was this so hard? I shouldn't be this affected, but still…the thought of them forgetting that I ever came into their lives was breaking me apart. I didn't want to go back to them but I didn't want them to forget about me completely either.
"I…fine go ahead" I said as I stood up uneasily
"Amu-chan" Sanjo-san called but before she could say anything else I was already in the hallway my footsteps urgent as I made my way through the doors and to the huge garden at the back of the house.
I passed by several trees wanting to get away from it all, at least until I heard that soft soothing sound. It was sad yet soothing in a way. I unconsciously walked towards the direction of the sound until I saw a small clearing where several glass chairs and a table were placed.
Beside at the far right I saw Ikuto, he was wearing a brown shirt and khaki shorts, his eyes were closed as he played the soft sound with his violin. I hugged myself as I felt a cool breeze sweep by me. I took a seat at one of the glass chairs and sighed.
The soft tunes rang in my ears as I felt exhaustion overcome me; I closed my eyes and felt myself lean on the table in front of me…
(End of flashback)
Normal POV
Amu sighed and placed the last of the frames inside the drawer as hot tears fell from her eyes to the black patterned carpet on the floor.

Utau walked inside the guys dormitory's common room where most of the guys turned and gawked at Utau. She was wearing a long sleeved black dress with blue linings, the dress reached a little above her knees and a black furred coat covered her delicate figure. It only sent the guys either drooling or staring at her white flawless legs.
Her eyebrows knitted, How annoying
"Utau, what are you doing here?"
Utau turned to see Ikuto in his plain black shirt which had long sleeves and long pants. His hair was wet from showering and his eyes pierced through each and every guy in the room, enough for them to turn and look away from both him and Utau.
"I just need to talk to you" Utau said as she stood up and got her purse from the edge of the seat
Ikuto raised an eyebrow, "You don't want to stay here?"
Utau crossed her arms and Ikuto merely grinned, he always loved messing with people.

Amu placed the disk which Sanjo-san gave her inside the lap top which Sanjo-san also graciously donated. She didn't really ponder on how much money this company called Easter actually had. Once she knew everything she was fine…
Her laptop roared to life as a blue colored background appeared on her screen. She typed her password and soon saw her desktop. She double clicked the CD file where a file in word opened. She gawked at the information laid out to her.

Amu's hand shook as she willed herself to click the mouse and to read more, now she wished she actually paid attention in World History, this would be good information as to where Constantinople actually is and how on earth it could be related to Amu, but knowing Sanjo-san she wouldn't just give something unless she knew that it was of great importance.

"Ikuto" Utau began as she bit her bottom lip, "I know I am of no position in saying this but wouldn't you agree that Amu needs to know…everything?"
Ikuto looked at his sister intently and a small smile crept on his face, "Oh, I see you've grown fond of Amu"
"Nii-san" Utau said as she flinched, she hadn't said that word in a long time and so it felt awkward saying it, but Ikuto showed no concern whatsoever, "I'm serious"
Ikuto turned around to see the entire school; both of them were on the roof top of the science building, a place where Ikuto never grew bored of, "You know that's no longer in my hands"
"But couldn't you do something?" Utau asked almost pleaded which shocked Ikuto but of course he did not show any expression
"Then tell me first why you have gone through so much trouble as to ask for something like this?"
"She deserves it, I know I wasn't her biggest fan before but getting to know her showed me that she needs the truth" Utau said "And I know you have the same opinion on the matter as well"
"Utau, you know that its only up to him whether I can divulge that information to Amu, you have to think of the consequences of doing so, I myself don't know what on earth that…our uncle, is thinking…"
"But-"
"Don't worry, I'll get us out of this mess…all of us" Ikuto said the last words to himself as he went for the door and closed it behind his back. Still on the roof top Utau hugged herself.
Uncle is a dictator, all he cares about is how to uplift this clan to oppose the other vampire clans, Utau thought as she sighed, And he thinks Hinamori Amu is the key to his success, until his plans have succeeded he will continue to use Amu, using her memories as a trump card

Ikuto passed through the wall and landed gracefully on the grass, he looked to his left then to his right. No one was there; it was one of the advantages of this certain misfortune. Everyone was ordered to stay in their rooms which meant that no one was even daring to go out of their dormitories which also meant peace and quiet.
He walked towards the end of the building where a small greenhouse was located, he sighed and looked at the skies, the clouds and its surroundings were painted yellow orange until it became fully black after a few minutes.
"I know you're there" Ikuto said as a swift movement from behind him caught his eyes
"I should have known better to sneak up on you, Tsukiyomi Ikuto"
"You're name?" Ikuto said, bored.
"You don't need to know that" The vampire said as he stepped into the moonlight where Ikuto could see him. He had golden brown hair and white colorless eyes; he had a build and was wearing a black hooded cloak, "All you need to know is this, in two hours they will arrive"
"So you're the bait" Ikuto said, "You must be useless then, since they've given you such a position"
The boy hissed his features were filled with shock and revelation as he quickly relaxed, "Call me whatever you want but just so you know…I killed the girl over there"
He pointed towards the girl's dormitory and immediately four figures appeared around both Ikuto and the said vampire.
Tadase's POV
I glared at the two in front of me; did that man just say Ikuto? I could have sworn that was the same name as the Koori Clan's to be heir. But still I had to remain calm and think clearly, Kukai tensed beside me. (Tadase doesn't remember since it's been more then a hundred centuries since their last meeting)
"This is a territory belonging to a pure blood clan, what is you're business here?" Kukai said in monotone
"Oh do not worry, I shall leave once I have completed my master's task" The vampire answered reassuringly
"And tell us how shall we be of service to you as to aid you in completing you're task?" Kukai asked
I bit my tongue to refrain from talking; I wasn't sure whether that Ikuto was the Ikuto of which I had known. I just had to be patient and to watch, beside me Rima inched closer and I felt myself place my arm around her shoulder protectively. Whatever this man was doing here I knew it was up to no good.
Ikuto's POV
I positioned myself closest to the wall as to be as less conspicuous as possible
The little brats were still interrogating the guy oblivious to my existence
Now here's the hard part, pass through the wall or don't pass through the wall? I could have battled through the decision in my head when suddenly I smelled the scent of blood in the air. And not just any kind of scent, it was a priceless scent of blood. Amu's blood.
The hooded freak laughed at their gapping mouths; apparently I wasn't the only one noticing the scent of her blood.
"Did I say 2 hours?" He said faking san innocent tone, "I meant 2 minutes"
And with that his blood was all over the walls which surrounded us, the only thing I regret is that I didn't do it myself, apparently Tadase wasn't as fond of him as I was.
Tadase's POV
I felt myself loose control once I smelled Amu's blood, in one swift movement I tore him apart with my hand. I barely felt the contact but once I heard Rima gasp and felt the liquid drip from the tip of my fingers I knew I just tore him apart.
Part of my school uniform was drenched in blood and my vision became of pure red. I heard myself growl as blood splatters painted the walls around us. The hooded man then fell to the ground his mouth was curled up to a grin and his entire body was cut into half.
I felt Kukai grip my shoulder as he pulled me back, I then felt the fangs reform from my teeth.
"Tadase, control yourself" Kukai semi whispered semi ordered to me as I felt the muscles in my shoulder's uncoil

30 Minutes before…
Normal POV
Amu sighed as she closed the laptop, after a few searches all she found out was that Constantinople was a place in Rome, a guy named Constantine founded it to resolve some dispute and also something about a plague. Kamakura matching it with Aiki's death was the time when a powerful group in Japan's early feudal times ruled and made it Japan's capital of some sort Amu didn't bother searching more on that.
A knock interrupted Amu's thoughts as she stood up and opened the door. She dropped the CD which she was currently holding as she stepped back slowly her eyes trained on the person in front of her
"W-who h-how" Amu squeaked as the girl in front of her stepped towards her until Amu was driven to the wall of her bedroom.
The girl shut the door behind her as Amu felt the cold cemented wall against her back. She blinked again and saw the same image. It was the image of the girl she found dead this morning, but apparently the girl who everyone thought was dead was now staring at her directly in the eye walking towards her.
"Good evening" The girl said in her sweet voice as she stepped closer to Amu, "Remember me from across the hall?"
Amu couldn't speak, she was dumb founded as she felt her knees buckle and all the blood in her cheeks drained.
A loud laugh was heard as the woman in front of her changed her appearance, this time the person standing in front of Amu was a guy. He had a black hooded cloak and violet eyes. His hair was slung to the back of his head which was covered with a hood.
"Forgive me, I did not mean to scare you like that, I was only looking to get your attention and nothing more" The man said as he kneeled in front of Amu
"I…" Amu couldn't speak she grabbed the edge of the window for support
"Please…" The man said as he offered his hand, as he stood up. He was about several inches taller then Amu, "Come with me"
Amu's eyebrows shot up she then slowly let her body slide through the wall. As she back slid and gracefully landed on her feet. She then sprinted for the garden beside the girl's dormitory.
The man covered with the hood sighed as another man appeared beside him, his eyes glowed red and he had light brown hair. He smirked, "Nagihiko you failed"
"She's stubborn but she will come around…soon" Nagihiko said as his violet eyes gleamed in delight
"We don't have time…now see how you're supposed to handle a brat like her" He said as he disappeared then reappeared at the roof deck of the building. He stretched his fingers a needle like string appeared between them. He threw several of them towards Amu…
Amu felt something pierce at her hands and feet suddenly she couldn't move anymore. She was paralyzed in mid step. She struggled against it but to no avail, at the corner of her eye she could see a man also dressed in a black hooded cloak, his eyes glowed red and his hair was of light brown.
"Aimi-sama" He began as he walked towards her, "Please do not make any sudden movements"
Amu then noticed the blood dripping from several open wounds from her hands to her feet. Then she felt the unbearable pain. She winced.
"Nikaidou" Nagihiko warned as he walked towards him and placed his arm on his shoulder. It was quite awkward considering their height difference. Nagihiko was a 5'2 but Nikaidou was six footer
Nagihiko looked at Amu with his face slightly creased, "Aimi-sama, you must forgive Nikaidou, he is…Impatient"
Nikaidou laughed at Nagihiko's statement, "We are in a rush, and I hope you have not forgotten to sense one's presence"
It was a mockery towards Nagihiko but once he realized the meaning in Nikaidou's words he nodded, "I see, our companion has been killed"
"You say those words as though in depression, you should have known why he was placed in such a role. He was going to die, it was inevitable" Nikaidou said as he looked at Amu who was now shaking to the last bone
A-aimi, Amu thought as she felt her hands shake, I'm Aimi?
Nikaidou took this chance and with a swift move he punched Amu in the stomach. He then felt her limp in his arms as he slung her on his shoulder. He then grinned at Nagihiko
Nagihiko merely shrugged it off, "Master won't be so happy to hear as to how you persuaded Aimi-sama to come with us"
"He doesn't need to know" Nikaidou said as he and Nagihiko disappeared into the night.

Sayuri: Okay so just clarifications, nope Ikuto and Tadase and the rest weren't able to make it in time to save Amu :(. But don't worry, this is where the interesting parts start :D
Ikuto: Does that mean I'm going to be far away from Amu?
Sayuri: (nods) but don't worry you'll get to see her before you know it
Ikuto: (mumbles)
Amu: O.O
Sayuri: Okay thanks so much for reading this chapter and so please review :D and just a hint for you guys, the next chapter will be about Amu and her encounter with the "royalty" among the vampires xD
