Holidays are almost here. So chapters hopefully will be up quicker. I am writing another story but I am going to write a couple of chapters before I put it up. Enjoy this chapter!

Bella's POV

The plane trip was extremely painful. Especially since I was sitting next to Emmett.

We arrived in Australia a day ahead from what it would be in America.

We hadn't even gone to the hotel yet.

Although we did have a hire car.

Edward wanted to get the full experience before Emmett had to go and work. As well as the rest of us.

" Bella do you want to go to bed or go traveling? I heard that there is a great beach in Sydney called Bondi." Edward was so considerate.

" I want to go to the beach! I've missed it." He nodded and smiled. " Wait how are you guys supposed to go in the sun? It is so sunny!"

Alice barged through the door with the way.

" Edward everybody else is ready to go the beach! Why aren't you ready?!"

"Because I don't know how I am supposed to?" She ran around him so quickly that I didn't see her.

" All done."

" Alice, what did you cover me in?"

" Foundation. It seemed to work when we tried it on jasper!

" Is it water proof?"

" What do you take me for Edward?"

" Nothing! Let's go."

Alice got me changed into a really small and skimpy bikini.

Then we walked out towards the car and drove towards Bondi Beach.

Everyone was in the car and super excited.

" Alice, Bella! I heard that the lifeguards at Bondi are some of the HOTTEST in the world." Rosalie was so excited. What was wrong with our boyfriends?

"I know. They are going to be so hot!" Man I never heard Alice talk about anyone like that except for Jasper.

" Guys seriously! What is wrong with the boyfriends we've got?" I was incredulous.

" Bella these guys are tan and are life guards! You have a guy who doesn't give anyone any sort of privacy. I have an emo. And Rose has a guy who can't tell the difference between a thumb and a toe." Alice did have a point there.

" I can actually agree with you there. I love Hoppo. I know he is the oldest. But that means that he has more experience." Wait was that Emmett who just said that?

" Emmett shut up. I'm you wife!"

" Rosalie, our relationship isn't one sided. You can't just talk about other guys. Why can't I?" He pouted his lips and attempted to look sad.

" EMMETT GET OVER IT. MAYBE IF YOU WERE AS HOT AS ME I WOULD LET YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

" Uhh… okay we're here." Carlisle seemed really awkward breaking up Rosalie's and Emmett's arguments.

We walked out into the car park.

To my surprise none of the Cullens were shining.

" Alice your plan worked! You are so amazing!" She was and she had to know it. Who would know – except for Alice- that plain foundation would work.

Plus it gave them a nice and subtle tan.

" Thank you Bella. But I already knew that!" Wow when did she start becoming so smug?

" Lets get into the water!" Emmett was standing in the car park with a set of floaties on, some flippers and a pair of speedos. ( A/N I think that they may call floaties swimmers in America but to be honest I don't know!)

He began to run towards the water. Holding Rosalie's hand the entire way.

She looked really embarrassed.

We all followed closely behind.

All of us holding each other in some way.

We made it down onto the sand.

It was so white and the water was so blue.

I think that if I laid down in the sand I would disappear.

Edward dropped me in the sand. Playfully of course.

I started rolling. Still going until I reached the waters edge.

I landed in the water in a splash.

I started splashing around playfully in the water.

About 20 life guards were by my side within seconds.

Both volunteers and professional.

" Miss do you need my help?"

" Are you okay?"

" You're so hot."

Well that was random.

Edward heard and ran over.

He wasn't going to let anyone hit on me.

" Excuse me that's my GIRLFRRIEND. Bella are you okay?"

He came over to me and lifted my head.

" I'm fine. I was just playing around."

All of their faces sunk.

" I can believe that the albino is her boyfriend."

The rest of the Cullens heard this and ran to my side.

" Whoa more of them."

" I can't see! Their whiteness is blinding me!" They covered their eyes.

( A/N I am extremely white. Pretty much albino without the red eyes and my sister no longer lets me stand in the sun because it hurts her eyes.)

" Guys go away. I'm trying to have a nice holiday with my family."

" So you're saying that you are going out with your brother?!"

" No idiot! I count the rest of his friends and brothers and sisters as my family."

They walked away. All off them had bright blue eyes and blonde hair. But their best feature was how tan they were!

The joys of growing up near a beach.

" Thank you for your help I guess." I stood up dragging Edward deeper into the water.

We started splashing water at each other.

Edward hugged me.

Pushing me down into the water.

I lost my footing and fell.

Unfortunately it was onto one of the reefs.

I landed onto a piece of coral. Slicing open my foot.

The salt water burned as entered my wound.

The blood seeped out of the cut and began to trickle into the ocean

Edward stiffened and then he was gone.

The water around me began to get cold.

There was a shadow that lurked beneath the water.

I had seen enough movies to know what the shadows were.

" SHARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Everyone's head turned as they heard my shrieks.

Then the shark alarm sounded.

Emmett jumped into the water to come and help me.

His arms and legs flailing.

I saw the jaws of the shark.

Its teeth sharp and jagged.

A white object jumped in front of me and pushed me out of the way.

" No!!!!! I'm hit!"

Emmett he jumped in front of the shark.

My heart sunk.

He risked his life for me.

Then I saw movement under the water.

He was still alive.

He stood up.

Red oozing out of both of his shoulder joints.

Then it hit me.

His arms were missing.

( A/N I don't know if vampires bleed. But they will in this story!)

He smiled at me.

Then he put his head at my waist and stood up.

I was now hanging over his shoulders.

He dropped me down on the beach.

Everyone was staring.

I think that they were amazed that Emmett hadn't collapsed yet.

He saw that they were watching.

So he had to hide.

He run past me and I could see him as he perched himself on top of a rock.

People began to crowd around me.

Edward was first there.

Which didn't surprise me.

I wonder where he was when I needed him.

I was still staring intently at the spot where Emmett was.

He was over looking the water.

Two white things crawled up the rocks.

He smiled when he saw them.

It couldn't be.

But it was!

They continued to crawl up the rock.

Until they latched themselves onto the spot where Emmett's shoulder were.

Gross!

They were his arms.

He saw that I was watching.

He stood up and waved.

A big cheesing grin on his face.

More people surrounded me.

They became meaningless.

Just turning into black spots with bodies.

I had felt this before.

I was slipping into unconsciousness.

Then it all went black.
