Recap

I nodded and walked into the classroom.

I don't really know why I was so nervous.

This wasn't the first time that I had changed schools.

We opened the door then jumped back and gasped.

Sitting in the corner was Gabriella Cilmi.

Bella's POV

" OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Alice was screaming and running around the classroom at the same time.

Strange little pixie.

Rosalie wasn't much better.

She was practically rocking in the corner.

Had they never seen a celebrity before?

Everyone was looking at us strangly.

I couldn't really blame them.

The new girls were freaks.

I just stood there. Awkwardly in the doorway.

I noticed a small girl walking towards me.

She was much smaller then Alice.

" Hi. I'm Phuong-Dan. But everyone calls me Danielle." She said shyly.

She was extremely small and looked like she was from Vietnam.

I smiled.

" I'm Bella. And the two girls that I walked in with are Alice and Rosalie. They get a little excited over celebrities."

As soon as I started talking she looked up.

" You're not Australian. You're American." I knew the accent was going to be noticed but it was still extremely embarrassing. I blushed bright red.

" Yeah I am. I just moved from Washington." She nodded as if she was thinking about something.

I had a sudden urge to pick her up and hug her.

She was like the little doll that I never had when I was growing up.

Alice was calm enough to walk over.

I couldn't say much for Rose.

" Hi, I'm Alice." Alice put her hand out and Danielle shook it.

" I'm Phuong-Dan. But call me Danielle."

We heard a bell go so we all took a seat.

I sat down the back with Danielle.

Alice sat down on the other side of me with Rose beside her.

A short teacher walked into the room.

His hair was grey and he was slightly balding.

" Good morning everyone I am Mr. Cullen." I perked up at the name.

Hmm... Cullen.

Oops! Bella, snap out of it!!

I noticed that all of the girls stood up as he entered to room.

Weird.

I followed the example then everyone said good morning.

He sat down and began to say the role.

" Ebony Anderson?"

" Here."

" Alice Cullen?"

" Here!"

...

"Rosalie Hale?"

...

"Cassandra Mamet?"

" Here."

....

" Bella Swan?"

"Here."

...

" Rachel Yip?"

"Here."

He walked out of the room and we headed for our first subject.

Science with Mr. Vinton.

I don't know why, but for some reason when I see that name I shudder.

Danielle was immediately by my side and leading the way.

I had to get something off my chest so I just asked it.

" Danielle, what is Mr. Cullen's first name?" She looked up at me. A little bit shocked by the question.

" umm.. I think that it is Gary."

Alice Rosalie and I all started to scream.

We received many more weird looks.

Danielle looked perplexed.

" Is there something that I missed?" I couldn't help but laugh at her when she raised one of her eyebrows.

"Gary... Cullen... was... our... brother's... Boyfriend... at... one... stage." I managed to get out between giggles.

She nodded.

We continued to walk through the school.

We were on the third floor and outside a room called d 22.

There was a sign next to it saying ' biology room'.

I love biology rooms.

There is just something about them.

Maybe it could do with the fact that Edward and I practically met in a biology room.

A rather short man began walking towards us.

A smile stretching across his face.

Was that supposed to be a good sign?

It kind of freaked me out.

He motioned us towalk in. So... you'll never guess We walked in!!!!!

The tables were all in rows.

I despised rows.

We all stood behind the seats and said good morning.

Then we got straight into work.

" Okay. Today class we will be studying the anatomy of your average possum. And yes I do know it is the first day back. I wanted to do something fun with you. Now are you going to sit there all day and stare at me or are you going to get started with your experiment?"

We all immediately got up and walked over to a cupboard.

It was filled with lab coats and goggles.

I guess that the goggles were for any blood splatter.

You wouldn't want any of that crap in your eyes.

As we were walking over to the lab tables an Indian looking man came walking into the classroom. He was pushing a trolley filled with the possums.

" Everyone say hi to Mr. Anuck. He is in charge of the prep room around the corner." We all mumbled a hello.

Then we walked over and each received one of the possums.

Danielle was by my side straight5 away.

She was kind of like a lolly stuck to the bottom of your shoe.

They are always with you and are extremely sweet.

" Hey Bella. I look so scientifical." I couldn't help but go awwwww.

She was my age for goodness sake. It wasn't like she was three.

But she was just so cute.

" Bella would you like to be partners with me?" She was looking down at her feet.

" Sure." Her head whipped up and she hugged me. Then pulled away almost instantly blushing furiously.

I was guessing that it wasn't normal for Vietnamese people to show public affection.

" Well let's get started," I said breaking the awkward silence.
