The first time he sees Tony, he was unimpressed. The new boy is loud, kind, and charismatic. He hugs the younger ones while reassuring the older ones. He paints pictures of escape with each more grand than the next. Everyone breaks after the first week. Mukuro doesn't want to see his spirit break. It's been one week and Tony starts to chip. He sees him huddled in a corner. His mumbling is nonsensical but he hears something about a lion clam. It hurts to see Tony break so he talks about Jade and their promise. He expects Tony to laugh but instead he gets a hug and a grazie. It doesn't last long but it is the start of a friendship.
