Hey Guys! I..Don't have anything to say other than DON'T HATE ME!
Twig: You'll see what she means by that at the end of the Chapter.
Storm Blade: HE'S A DEAD MAN!

~Chapter 16~
Dina leapt off of the helicopter, bending her knees to brace herself. As she walked away from the Heliport, she shivered, puffing into her hands and rubbing them together.
"Ok, Illium Island, Frozen Fighters Paradise. And I seriously need to buy a parka."
She heard someone chuckle behind her, and whirled around to bite their head off for laughing at her freezing predicament.
Behind her stood a tall man, probably in his mid-twenties, with wild, spiky brown hair and honey brown eyes that showed his just as wild spirit. He was wearing a teal and white visor, that was semi-hidden under his mass of hair. He had a vibrant blue scarf wrapped around his neck, and thin, warm looking black gloves. His Parka was teal and white, with bright turquois fur lining the edge of the hood. His snow pants were blue, and tucked into his vibrant turquois boots, with a white strip across the top of them.
"Welcome to Ilium Island! We get some pretty gnarly weather here, dude, so make sure you stay warm and don't catch a cold. And yeah, you'll need a parka." He snickered a little at that last part.
"No derp." Dina huffed, rubbing her arms.
"Wait…Are you…Dina?" The man asked, with a sudden look of realization. Dina gave a small nod.
"That's my name, please feel free to attempt and fail to wear it out."
"Yeah, so my name's Kent, and I'm the Staff Leader on Illium Island. Terry and Stella told me you're a pretty radical dude, but if you need anything, just lemme know." Pointing behind him, Kent said,
"That's the Fighter station." The building had a shallow sloped steel colored roof, dark ice blue walls and pillars, icicles hanging off the roof, piles of snow around it, and the two snowmen outside the door, one with a yellow hat and one with a red hat, and ice white arch above the automatic door.
"Then that building is our Fossil Guild." There's a branch off building, with a path leading up to it. The building is shaped like a hexagon, and has a deeper sloped steel colored roof, with dark ice blue at the top few feet of the walls, and then the rest is icy white.
"If you wanna get to Hot Spring Heights, just take the bridge to the lower left." Dina nodded, her teeth starting to chatter too much for her to talk.
"You're a Patrol Team dude, so I'm expecting some totally tubular things from you. We gotta stop those gnarly BB types from messin' up the Cup, you know? 'Cause that would be a bummer." He turned to leave, but before he did he pointed at the Fossil Guild.
"You can buy a good parka there, little dude." Dina nodded thankfully and zipped over, happily bursting through the doors and into the warmth of the heated building.
Moving away from the doors, Dina spotted racks of thick, warm looking parkas near the back of the shop section.
Going over to them happily, she reached for the first one that came into her reach.
It was a thick green parka, with the inside being a beige brown. The hood had faux brown fur lining it. Following along the zipper was a beige stripe on either side.
Slipping it on, Dina laughed quietly when the bottom of the coat brushed past her knees, the sleeves going at least six inches past her hands.
"Dina? Oh Dina, where did you go?" Tsuno teased, Storm Blade and Wild Winds chuckling in the background.
Shrugging the coat off and replacing it on the rack, Dina sent her vivosaurs a mental smile. Sifting through the rack she pulled on a different parka, this one being near-red pink with white polka dots all over it. Along the bottom was a two inch stripe of green, and the sleeves from the wrist up until about mid-forearm were yellow. The hood had yellow fur lining the edge, and the inside was a lighter pink than the outside.
Slipping it on, Dina made a choked noise.
"Can't…Breathe…!" She wailed mentally, struggling to get the way to small jacket off.
Successfully doing so, she let out a relieved sigh.
Walking over to a different rack, she reached for yet another parka. This time, it was a heavy red parka, with silver material on the inside. Faux silver fur lined both the edge of the hood and the sleeve ends. The zipper was a rich dark blue color.
As the blonde's tanned hand reached out, another, paler hand came into play, both falling onto the same spot.
Looking up, Dina saw Rupert standing there, blinking down at her stupidly.
"…Hello."
"…Hey."
Realizing their hands were still touching, they yanked them away like the other's touch burned.
"Uh…You can have the jacket." Dina said, a blush dusted across her nose and cheeks.
"No, No, you may have it." Rupert refused, a similar blush on his face.
"It, ah…It suits you more than it suits me." Dina gave a slightly weary smile. "Red is more your color than mine."
"You should…at the very least try it on." Rupert tried, feeling warm and fuzzy on the inside at being the focus of Dina's smile.
"…Alright." Dina smiled, pulling the coat on with some assistants from Rupert.
It fell heavily around her slim shoulders, broader than it should've been for a good fit.
"Your turn!" Dina laughed, shrugging it off and holding it out for the still-blushing boy to take.
Taking the offered object, he slid it on after taking off his other, less durable jacket.
"Snug as Todd on a Stegosaurus rug." Dina snickered, looking up at Rupert.
Smiling back down at her, Rupert shrugged the parka off and slid on his Jacket, slipping the Parka over his arm.
"Well, you still must find a parka to wear. You cannot go around this island without one!"
"I know, I know." Dina flailed her arms. "But every coat I pick out is either so freaking big I disappear, or so freaking small I can't breathe! I like breathing, thank you very much!"
Rupert looked thoughtful for a moment before motioning her to follow him.
"I believe I saw a parka to your liking." He explained, leading the way. Reaching a rack farther towards the back, Rupert pulled out a light blue parka, with a dark blue hood and inside. There was a thick layer of gray/blue fabric layering the edge of the hood, as well as from the elbows down. There was a thick dark blue strip running down both sides of the coat, as well as dark blue patches on the shoulders.
Rupert slipped it off its hanger and held it out to the blonde.
Taking it, Dina slid into it and smiled at the perfect fit.
"Great! Thanks Rupert!" Dina directed her smile up at him, eyes crinkling up as well. "It would have taken me forever to find this one!"
Looking down at her, the silver haired boy felt something warm leak into his chest, filling him with a feeling that felt just right.
Dina's smile turned into one of wonderment as that same feeling filled her as well.
As Rupert leaned down slowly, Dina rocked upwards to meet him…
Staring into the others eyes, it felt like it was just the two of them.
Slowing, ever so slowly, their lips met for the first time.
It was a soft kiss, full of feeling and meaning. Both participants eyes fluttered shut as they basked in the others.
Reluctantly pulling away after a few more moments of perfect, the realization of what he had just done hit Rupert head on.
Before Dina had a chance to collect herself, Rupert had already left.
"…What just…" Wild Winds gasped.
"Why did he…." Tsuno mumbled.
"…He left." Dina hung her head, tears beginning to gather in her brown eyes.
"He's a dead man now." Storm Blade growled angrily at the broken feeling welling up in his fighter.
