Troy confused asked Sharpay:

"What was that? And by the way, What's her name and yours?"

"Oh! My name is Sharpay and her name is Gabriella."

When he was thinking about her, he forgot that Sharpay was there.

They keep on talking. They became friends. And Troy gave her a nickname: sweety.
