Erik looked at her in shock. Christine took his lips as her own, and Erik's shock faded into happiness and pure joy. He encased his angel in his protective embrace. Christine melted in his arms, feeling her heard flutter, and the numb feeling that she had been burdened with disappeared as the Phantom's lips massaged hers, bringing her soul back.
Finally, she could live again.
