The dance came by quick. It was the only day the teachers wouldn't show up, it was held by the student council, so whatever happened there, they would take the blame. Which meant they would all be strict on the other students. He already made plans with Lucy. He was going to meet her at the school gates. It was dark now, and the school was covered in lights. It was like Christmas all over again. It was the brightest place in the block. It seemed like the dance started early. He met Gray and Juvia a while ago walking by. Natsu couldn't wait to tell Gray the bad news. Gray just lost his bet with Jellal, not to mention he was going to owe him a month of food. Natsu grinned thinking of all the possible food choices he would buy until Gray would go broke in less than a week.

A couple minutes before the scheduled time with Lucy, Erza appeared along with Jellal. They were having a passionate kiss before Natsu decided to interrupt. Clearing his throat to let them know he was there. Erza's face went as red as her hair, he was lucky she didn't hit him. She walked through the gates leaving a satisfied Jellal behind.

" So how was that? " Natsu asked. " Is she actually that good of a person? She's scary, I can't believe you fell for someone like her,"

" Hey! Erza can be...kind. She's actually quite girly. And how about Lucy? She's weird, pretty, but weird. Actually she is a hundred times nicer than Erza... " Natsu laughed.

" But that's why I like her!"

" Hah! You admit it!"

" Of course, did you know she called me her boyfriend?"

" Why did you not tell me this sooner?! That mean's Gray lost to me! Though now its up to Gajeel, Then I'll definitely win!"

" Haha, yeah, but I won already!" Natsu exclaimed, noticing that Lucy was walking up to them, " I won food for a month and~ " He grabbed Lucy pulling her into a tight hug, " Lucy," He grinned. She blushed.

" JELLAL! " Erza shouted from the other side of the gate, " What's taking you? I want to dance!" Jellal chuckled.

" Guess I'll see you two, inside." With that Jellal jogged through the gates. Natsu took this time to study Lucy's dress. Pink. Cute was what Natsu wanted to actually suited her well, with her blonde hair.

" You look...nice."

"Your suppose to say something along the lines of ' Wow Lucy You look absolutely gorgeous,' " Lucy pouted.

" Wow Lucy, You Look Ab-so-lu-tely Gor-geous~" Natsu sounded out, grabbing her hand, " Come one, everyone else is inside." They both entered the nicely decorated school. The dance was held in the cafeteria which also led outside in the back of the school.

" So what was this 'Gray Losing' thing?"

" Uh... well, Gray sorta made this bet with Jellal. So far he's losing. "

" I see, and what was this bet?" Natsu just laughed and pointed towards the table that ran alongside the back wall. The table was piled with food and drinks.

" Hey look food!" Natsu ran over there. Lucy sighed and followed. On the way over, Lucy found Levy who was dancing with Gajeel. Gajeel wasn't paying attention, or at least to Lucy he wasn't, to Levy. Stepping on her foot every so often. Levy in turn would push Gajeel, but continued dancing.

Erza and Jellal were chatting, away from the dance area. It seemed that Jellal was complimenting her, because Erza's face was red and she looked away, taking a sip out of her drink.

Lucy made it to the table covered in food. Natsu was just grabbing some Fried chicken.

" Hey Luce, Wants some?" He asked, waving it in front of her face. Lucy shook her head pushing his arm away.

" I already ate."

" But its free!" Free dinner for Natsu.

" Hey, when this is over, meet me out in the front? I have something for you." Lucy was blushing now. Natsu nodded stuffing his face full of the chicken. Lucy waited until he finished, grabbing a cup of punch. She watched her friends dance, Gajeel and Levy were leaving the dance floor moving over to some tables. He left her there, saying something and she nodded. Then he walked off.

She spotted Gray and Juvia a few moments later. Other girls were talking to Gray, which lead to Juvia crying and yelling at the others calling them rivals. Gray had to calm her down. He grabbed her and pulled her over to the dance area.

" Okay Luce!" Natsu said grabbing her hand, " You want to dance right?" She nodded smiling and let Natsu drag her over to the others. Unlike Gajeel, Natsu didn't have a problem with stepping on her foot. In fact, he was better at dancing then she thought. Though Natsu seemed to be in a daze.

The music everyone was dancing to stopped. Everyone looked up. Near the speakers stood Gajeel, holding up a mic. This was the last thing Lucy expected. He started singing. Since when did this become a singing party? He wasn't bad, but he wasn't exactly good either. But that wasn't what surprised her the most, in the end. He shouted out Levy's name. She looked up. He asked her to go out with him. Out of the corner of Lucy's eye she saw Gray's jaw drop. I looked to Natsu, he was grinning ear to ear.

" Gray lost! Haha take that Gray!" Natsu shouted earning a glare from the black haired teenager. " That's a month!" He looked at Lucy and smiled, " I'll get Gray to buy food for you too!"

" Is that what is was about? You guy's made a bet on Gajeel asking Levy out?" He nodded. Lucy turned her attention back to her best friend. She was crying with joy. But she lightly punched Gajeel. Likely for saying it in front of a huge crowd.

" Hey Lucy!~" She turned around at the sound of her name. Loke was running up to her.

" Loke? Why are you wearing sunglasses? There's no sun outside, and its not bright in here." He shrugged.

" So Lucy~ You doing anything tonight?"

" Besides this dance? No."

" Then will you go-" Loke flew across the dance flow after Natsu punched him. When Loke made his way back over holding a hand to the side of his face he asked, " What was that for?"

" No going out with my woman." Natsu growled.

" Yours?" Loke looked from Natsu to Lucy and Back to Natsu, " You're going out with her?"

Natsu smirked, " Yeah, so why don't you go find someone else?"

Loke ignored him, " Lucy? Why?" he whined.

" First come first served." Lucy grinned. Natsu wrapped an arm around her.

Loke pouted, but then his expression become serious, " H-hey, who's that?" He asked pointing a finger behind them. Natsu and Lucy turned around looking for the person Loke was pointing at. A pink haired girl stood by the food by herself.

" Her? I think she's a new student." Lucy answered, " Why?"

" Don't tell me, you got your eye on another lady? This is why you're always rejected." Natsu said.

" That's not true!" Loke argued, " Lucy what's her name?"

" Um... A-Aries? I think its Aries."

" Aries? I've heard that name before..." Loke murmured, " No way!" He ran over to the girl. Lucy and Natsu decided to follow, curious as to what Loke was doing.

" Aries? Aries is it you?" The girl turned around. At first, confusion was written all over her face, soon replaced by pure joy.

" LOKE!" She hugged him.

" I thought you were in that other school, what are you doing here?" Loke asked.

" The people there weren't really nice." She answered, " I decided to transfer. Since you were here. I-I thought I might as well too. I'm sorry,"

" Why are you apologizing? I'm happy you came. It hasn't been the same without you! " Loke said.

" Loke, you know her?" Lucy asked.

He nodded, " I knew her since we were kids, When we hit high school, we ended up going to separate schools, haven't seen her since."

" Well then, I'm glad you two found each other."

Loke smiled and turned back to Aries holding out a hand, " Hey, since you're here and all, care for a dance?" She nodded and took his hand.

Lucy felt arms wrap around her, " Well, lets go find the others," Natsu said. She nodded.

Erza was talking to Levy. Gray, Gajeel and Jellal seemed like they were arguing. Natsu soon joined their conversation. While Lucy decided it would be best to congratulate Levy.

" Levy- chan! I can't believe it! Gajeel finally asked you out." Levy was red her hands coming up to cover her face.

" Lu-chan, " Levy whined.

" I'm actually surprised he gathered the nerve to ask." Erza said, " It's about time too."

Levy recovered her natural color, " Lu-Chan, why not tell us how its going between you and Natsu?" It was Lucy's turn to turn red.

" You two haven't done it yet have you?" Erza asked, " If he did, I'll smack him."

" Wha- wha? E-Erza what are you talking about? We- we haven't even kissed yet..."

" You haven't?!" Lucy shook her head, now completely embarrassed.

" GAH! Dammit Gajeel! You just had to do it!" Gray complained.

" Your fault for making such a stupid bet in the first place." Gajeel said.

" Gray, You now owe me $100," Jellal stated.

" And Gajeel and me, a month of food." Natsu added.

" Be ready Gray, you're about to go broke."

" I hate you guys." Gray muttered. Lucy laughed and grabbed Natsu's arm pulling him away from the others.

" Don't worry Lucy! I'll get Gray to buy enough food for the both of us." Natsu laughed.

" I know you will," They were outside. It was dark, if not for the lights that decorated the roof, and surrounding tree's, they wouldn't be able to see a thing. In fact they couldn't see anything past the school. It was just a blanket of darkness. " I said I had something to give you right?" She raised her hands. Natsu flinched thinking he did something wrong, that she was going to hit him or something. Instead, the hands cupped his face. Before he was able to react, Lucy kissed him.

For a moment he lost focus, completely entranced, until Lucy backed away.

" Wha-"

" You kissed me back then," She said placing a hand on her lips, " I figured it was my turn." Her face was light pink.

Natsu laughed. " We better get back, before Erza figures out we're missing."

" A-alright."

" And Lucy?"

" Hmm?"

He focused his eyes on her, their eyes making contact. Natsu grinned, " You'll go out with me tomorrow right?"

It was Lucy's turn to laugh, " Yes! Of course I will,"

She came into his life, a rich, sad girl with her daddy problems. He came into her life, a happy go lucky, idiotic student. He saved her, she saved him. He was happy, she was happy. Glad that he was her boyfriend. And especially glad he met her in the first place. Because if he didn't, he was sure his life would have been dull. When she came his life became an adventure. One he would never forget. Even if he had the chance to change what happened during the year with Daren. He would never change it. Because what he had right now, was enough for him. As it was enough for her.

I couldn't really come up with a good ending (And Loke meeting Aries...). I'm sorry. BUT if I come up with any more Idea's I'll be sure to add extra chapters, and maybe in the process, be able to make a better ending. But for now, I'll leave it with this. A lot of you enjoyed this story, I'm glad. I published my next story called ' The Girl Who Fell In Love With The Dragon' Long title I know. I'm hoping that this new story, and the other I'm working on, will turn out a lot better than this story. But I'm not the best writer ^.^"
