Really, landlord? Your idea of fun is an art exhibit?

Ryou let out a shaky breath, watching it expand like smoke on the cool air. At this point, he'd grown accustomed to ignoring the voice coming from somewhere inside of him. He could see the building looming up ahead with a sign in front: Guertena Exhibit. Ryou's lips pulled into a smile. He could use a little escape, and he supposed looking at art would be just what he needed.

No wait, your idea of fun is an art exhibit…alone? Really, landlord…that is pathetic, even for you.

"Art galleries are more fun alone, anyway. What do you know about art? What do you even know about fun, spirit?" Ryou wasn't here to have his hobbies questioned or be harassed, he was here as an escape. As he entered the gallery, the smile that had begun to fade at the spirit's mocking words blossomed again. Ryou made his way from painting to sculpture and so on, totally entranced by the works before him. Finally, Ryou stopped in front of a large painting, feeling especially drawn to it. "Fabricated World…" he whispered in awe.

Yes. "Fabricated World." Sorry to interrupt you, host, but will you do me a favor and tell me why it's so uncomfortably silent in here? Also, not meaning to nag, but do you even see anyone else around right now?

Ryou stopped and took a look around. For once, the spirit was right. He didn't see anyone. Ryou started walking through the exhibit again. There wasn't anybody around. "Where did everyone go…?"

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure you stepped in blue paint. Would it kill you to pay a little more attention?

Ryou looked down. Sure enough, he was trailing blue footprints across the ground. "Oh…where could I have stepped in paint? I'd think all of this should be dry by now…" He retraced his steps, or quite literally, his footprints. He found text on the wall under the painting he'd been in front of before. "Hmm…" Intrigued, Ryou continued to walk around the exhibit.

Please tell me you at least noticed THAT.

Ryou looked and saw that the rope surrounding a sculpture had been moved and there were footprints leading into it. "Oh…" He headed toward it, enthralled.

What are you doing?! You can't be serious…

He'd been looking for an escape, right? Well, why not…

Ryou took a step into the sculpture entitled "Abyss of the Deep."
