Jacqueline was more scared than she'd ever been in her life. She and her twin sister Jennifer had been in a vehicle whose driver just disappeared.
"What just happened?" Jacqueline asked in disbelief. "I think it was the Rapture," Jennifer replied uncertainly. "The what?!" "The Rapture!" Jennifer repeated. "You know what Nikki said." "Whose Nikki?!" "On the radio! From the Keller Performing Arts Center!" "You mean that over there?"
Jacqueline pointed to a neon green sign that read KPAC. "C'mon!" Jennifer said. "Maybe Nikki's there! She can help us!" Jacqueline followed Jennifer across the street. Maybe she is there, she thought. Maybe she could tell us what really happened.
