Unknown POV

He came rushing in looking upset and I was wondering why. It then occurred to me that he had gone to see Bella. My plan was working. I killed Alec and I have split up Jasper and Bella now its time to get them to drop all contact and Jasper would be free of them.

Chapter 8

Alec's POV

I sat and watched as my Belle was curled up crying. If I could I would give that Jasper a right talking to. I got to say being a ghost was quite cool but it was also a pain in the butt.

"Alec" Belle cried.

I walked over to her and I crouched down by her head.

"Yeah baby?" I asked.

"Do you think that my dad will ever come back for me?" she asked.

"Trust me, if he doesn't come back he is incredibly stupid" I told her.

"Love you" she mumbled.

"Love you too" I murmurmed.

We both sat in silence for a while. She had stopped sobbing and she was just sat there staring at nothing.

"Bella?" I heard my twin shouted out.

"Jane?" Bella asked confused.

She sat up and then Jane ran in.

"What's wrong Jane?" she asked her.

"I had to see that you were okay, you done a brave thing back there" she said.

"Why do I feel like I am doing the wrong thing though?" she asked confused.

"Because you know that you father might not ever speak to you again" Jane said quietly.

They then both sat there quietly.

"Is Alec here?" Jane asked brokenly.

Bella looked up at me. I sent her a weak smile.

"Yeah he is" Bella sighed.

"Oh, is he okay?" she asked concerned.

"Tell her that I am perfect, it is painless" I told Bella.

"He said that he is perfect and painless" Bella repeated.

"Good" Jane smiled slightly.

Jasper's POV

Bettie's words were running through my head.

"No Jasper, she is our daughter and she is meant to come first in any situation! I get that you love the Pixie but she killed our son-in-law. I am not trying to get you to break up with the Pixie but I do want you to think about the hurt that you are causing Isa"

I never knew that I was causing Isa so much hurt. I couldn't feel her emotions due to her powers but it still shocked me hearing it. I just want what is best for my family. I love Alice with all my heart as I do Isa but who do I put first?

I want to put Isa first I really do but what about Alice? I don't know what I would do without Alice! Alice is my whole world. As I sat there deep in my thoughts I never noticed that Esme entered my room.

"Are you okay Jasper?" she me concerned.

I also felt the underlining anger coming from her.

"I don't know Esme" I moaned.

"What's troubling you? Maybe I could help" she offered kindly.

"It's just that, I want to chose Isa because she is my baby girl but then I wouldn't know what to do without Alice so then I want to chose Alice" I sighed.

She sat there thinking for a minute.

"Jasper I need to ask you a question, when you were human were you and Isabella close?""she asked me.

"Yes we were, I would take her everywhere with me, except maybe the pub" I answered.

"Would you say that you would die for her?" she asked.

"Of course I would, no one will be able to lay a finger on my baby" I growled out.

She then sat quietly.

"When we first met Bella, I knew istantly that she was yours by the way she held herself and by the way you looked at her" she said quietly.

I stayed quiet knowing that she wasn't finished. She then sighed.

"What I am trying to say is that, when you saw Isabella you looked so happy, it was like nothing could knock you down! When Alice stepped in I saw how down you looked. Jasper trust me, never let go of your children, even if Alice is the one standing in your way. You will regret it! I lost a son Jasper and every day I wish that I could go back and grabbed him but I cant, I don't want to see you lose your child because of some silly jealousy going on" she said.

I then jumped up startling her. I then turned and kissed her cheek lightly.

"You would be the best mom ever Esme, trust me" I smiled.

I grabbed my jacket and then I ran out of the house.

"Be careful" I heard Esme shout after me.

I then ran as fast as my legs would allow me, back to my Isa.
